Six evaluation trenches were proposed in the Written Scheme of Investigation (MOLA 2019, Section 3.1). Each trench was to measure 25m by c 1.8m wide and 1.2m deep and excavated to a maximum of 3m, or to the top of the natural deposits, at each end to assess the potential for deeper archaeological deposits. In practice, all six trenches were excavated in accordance with the Written Scheme of Investigation (MOLA 2019, Section 3.1) except Trench 2 being 23m long instead of 25m because of modern obstructions at the north end and Trenches 3 and 6 were moved a few metres along their alignment to avoid the risk of collapse adjacent to the edge of the site. The absence of horizontal archaeological horizons and/or cut features and Pleistocene gravels in all the investigated Trenches, clearly indicates that 19th activity associated with the warehouse construction and subsequent demolition has truncated all archaeological stratified remains down to natural London Clay. London Clay was seen in all trenches except Trench 5, where this was likely to have redeposited. The top of these deposits were recorded between 3.70m OD and 4.01m OD in Trenches 1 and 4 to the west of the site and between 2.67m OD and 3.40m OD in the trenches to the east. In all cases the natural deposits were either cut by 19th-century masonry or overlain by mid-late 20th-century infill.

Surrey Archaeological Collections, 102, 131-168, Archaeological investigations on an open field site to the south-west of Addlestone revealed two foci of Middle-Late Bronze Age activity that involved the setting of pottery vessels in pits. A lone Late Iron Age unurned cremation burial was accompanied by an unusual North Gaulish Gallo-Belgic facet-cut barrel beaker, dated to c 10 BC-AD 14. An isolated pit contained a range of early/mid-2nd century ceramics related to consumption. However, the most significant feature of the site was a mid-late 3rd century AD cremation cemetery that comprised 28 urned cremation burials and nine possible (or unurned) cremation burials. The remains were indicative of a rural population and the urns were mostly of a regional type. A curious aspect of the cemetery was the near absence of grave goods but there is some evidence for pyre goods and analysis of the iron nails from cremation deposits reveals the presence of footwear and possibly upholstered biers. It is suggested that this cemetery was located in a special place in the landscape with little evidence for an adjacent settlement. There was no evidence for any later land use until the site was crossed by field boundaries, in the 18th century.

A strip, map and sample excavation. The results of the excavation produced a simple sequence from a 16th-century land boundary to a period of agricultural activity and, finally, 18th- and 19th-century pits and post holes associated with the back plots of the buildings that fronted Brook Street.

Four test pits, 2 boreholes and 2 window samples were monitored and an evaluation pit were excavated on the site The results of this evaluation have shown the likely survival of archaeological features under the area of the present rear yard because of the presence of an 16th-/17th-century plough soil at 1.86m OD or 2m beneath the present rear yard surface, and the unlikely survival of archaeological features under the Lower Marsh building frontage because their basements have truncated the underlying natural sand and gravels. The report concludes that prehistoric, Roman and medieval archaeological remains may be impacted by the redevelopment, in particular under the rear yard where the plough soil may seal earlier features.

All ground were undertaken by the designated contractors (Conway) and monitored by a member of staff from MOLA. All excavations were done mechanically. Excavation locations were provided by Conway\AECOM drawing no 60320925-E220-CP03-DWG-1079 rev 3. The nature of the fieldwork meant it was not possible to accurately calculate Ordnance Datum levels therefore site levels are expressed as depth from ground level. A possible floodplain deposit cut by a substantial red-brick wall was recorded in a tree-planting pit in the south-west of the car park. This wall was interpreted as being part of the early 18th-century Bastion Wall which marked the boundary between Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. It was sealed by post-medieval ground levelling or landscaping deposits and modern material. Monitoring in the remainder of the car park exposed only modern subsurface deposits.

A watching brief was carried out on the site in August and October 2015. Asbestos contamination meant the works varied from the Method Statement and in practise the watching brief comprised the monitoring of 9 test pits, 3 tree planter excavations and limited observation of the construction of the Consultation Suite building. Monitoring of the test pits and tree planter excavations revealed the site was covered by a minimum of 2m of 20th-century made ground, with further modern truncations in localised areas. No buried land surfaces were identified, suggesting the natural ground level had been truncated. However deposits possibly associated with an ancient course of the Counters Creek watercourse were found in the west and south-west of the site. Limited monitoring of the Construction Suite building showed it did not impact on any deposit deeper than 0.60m beneath the existing ground level; indicating only recent deposits were disturbed. Because of the extensive modern truncation noted within the site the potential for archaeological deposit is very low, subsequently no new research aims have been raised in relation to the proposed development. No remains of archaeological significance were found during the watching brief.

The watching brief observed only modern made ground deposits, and 20th-century installations. A void under the Morelands Building suggests the original pipework has been removed. The excavation of the service road on the south side of the site had been completed before the watching brief. Under the concrete slab in the Morelands Building there was a void up to 7m deep that means the earlier pipework has been removed. The existing external ground surface at the eastern end of the site was reduced up to 2m where only modern made ground was encountered. The only visible subterranean remains were on the north side of the site, where a steel I-beam and a pipe was visible, at approximately 1m below the existing ground surface. An earlier site visit, prior to the main watching brief had revealed over a metre of modern made ground over disturbed brickearth deposits within the Riverdale Building. The disturbed brickearth was therefore seen at an estimated 8m OD, suggesting the absence of floodplain deposits this far back from the river and consistent with the results of a borehole survey (Albury SI Ltd 2012).

Drug distribution environments were reported in the United States and Japan. It was observed that both countries are readily adjusting to rapidly changing drug distribution environments. In the United States direct marketing and purchasing practices have been growing while in Japan very few of these practices are seen. Mandated cost containment by health care companies has influenced pharmacy operation patterns in the United States such as mail order pharmacies and managed-care-controlled pharmacies, while in Japan pharmacy operations are likely to be overwhelmed by the long-standing physician dispensing practices. Patients hope that competition created from a variety of practices results in improved pharmaceutical care for them. Neither system of drug distribution practices is superior to the other. Both Japanese and American pharmacy practices must continually evolve to meet their own social, economic, and professional needs and standards of practice.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which selectively inhibit COX2 without affecting an enzyme activity of COX 1 would be an ideal anti-inflammatory drug. Thus an attempt was made to examine those binding modes of NSAIDs against COX1 and COX2 in terms of hydrogen bond and binding energy by utilizing Dock4.0. It was shown that binding mode to COX2 selective NSAIDs coincided with the result reported in the in vitro study by R.S. Spangler (Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism, 26, 435-446 (1996)). Thus, it can be said that there is a fairly good correlation between the Dock4.0 results and those reported in the in vitro study. As far as the binding mode of COX1 selective NSAIDs is concerned one corresponded to the in vitro study reported by R.S. Spangler, another did not and a third presented a mediocre conformity. It was also shown that there existed one to three H-bonds with the net total being at least twelve when NSAIDs such as nabumetone, meclofenamate, niflumic acid, indomethacin, sulindac, and flurbiprofen were bound to COX2. Amino acid residues involved in such hydrogen bonds were Phe A518, Arg A120, Tyr A385, His A90, Tyr A355. Met A522, Ser A353, Gln A192, Leu A352, and Arg A513. Phe A518 and His A90 were reported by R. G. Kurumbail et al. (Nature, 384, 644-648 (1996)) but the rest of the amino acid residues were not.
