With the rapid advancement of urbanisation and transit networks, exploring the spatial relationship between metro systems and cultural heritage is crucial for both heritage preservation and sustainable urban development. This study uses the nearest neighbour index, kernel density analysis, and spatial value evaluation to examine the distribution patterns of cultural heritage in Beijing and its spatial interaction with the metro network. The results show that different types of cultural heritage have distinct distribution characteristics: stone inscriptions are widely dispersed due to their need for preservation in natural settings; traditional villages and ancient tombs are shaped by historical and geographical factors; and industrial heritage is concentrated in areas of historical industrial activity, reflecting strong functional zoning traits. The metro network enhances the accessibility of cultural heritage, especially national- and provincial-level sites, which are predominantly clustered near metro stations. However, geographically isolated world heritage sites, such as the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs, remain less connected to the metro network, helping preserve their authenticity and avoid overdevelopment. Furthermore, thematic designs and cultural displays within Beijing's metro stations successfully bridge the gap between history and modernity, positioning metro stations as key platforms for cultural dissemination. Nevertheless, metro construction presents challenges to heritage conservation, including potential impacts on site stability due to tunnelling and conflicts between modern station design and the aesthetic integrity of historic districts. These findings offer practical insights for cultural heritage preservation and transit planning in Beijing and serve as a reference for the sustainable development of other historic cities worldwide. Based on a balanced panel dataset of 272 prefecture-level cities from 2000 to 2022, this paper systematically investigates the impact of the carbon emissions trading system on green total factor productivity and its underlying mechanisms from an integrated perspective of overall, dynamic, and spatial dimensions. The findings reveal that (1) the carbon emissions trading system significantly enhances regional total factor productivity, primarily by optimizing resource allocation efficiency and strengthening regional competitiveness. (2) From a dynamic perspective, the policy effect exhibited a U-shaped relationship: from 2013 to 2018, green total factor productivity was suppressed due to underdeveloped market mechanisms and the policy environment; after 2018, with market maturation and policy stabilization, the policy effects improved significantly. (3) Spatial effect analysis indicates that the emissions trading system positively influences pilot regions but generates a siphon effect on nonpilot regions, leading to regional performance divergence, although the overall impact remains positive. (4) Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the policy has more pronounced effects in regions with higher carbon intensity, stricter environmental regulations, better infrastructure, and richer resource endowments, reflecting significant regional disparities in policy effectiveness. The aim of this paper is to simulate the effect of land revenue policy reform in China under the shock of tax policy reform. To this end, this research has built a computable general equilibrium model and collected data from China's input–output table for 2017 to construct the China land revenue social accounting matrix for 2017. Five scenarios of land reform policy have been considered. The first scenario concerns a reduction in the construction land supply; the simulation shows that the reform will lead to increasing real estate prices, which will result in a crowding-out effect for the manufacturing industry. The second scenario involves levying a property tax nationwide, which will restrain the trend of the increase in the real estate price and increase the local governments' revenue, although household income and economic growth will be restrained. The third scenario has to do with a reduction in the deed tax. The simulation shows that this reform can alleviate the negative impact on the economy. The fourth scenario is related to a combination of the first and second scenarios, which will lead to a decrease in employment demand and an increase in land financial revenue. Finally, the fifth scenario is also a combined policy involving the first, second and third scenarios, which will result in higher urban and rural household income than the fourth scenario. Background: While serum periostin and Krebs von den Lungen-6 (KL-6) have been acknowledged as independent markers in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) diagnosis, the clinical combinatory potential of these biomarkers combined with high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) has yet to be fully explored. Methods: This retrospective study involved 78 participants, comprising 51 UIP-IPF patients and 27 healthy controls. All subjects underwent clinical and laboratory examinations, particularly the detection of periostin and KL-6 using ELISA with innovative HRCT fibrosis score evaluations at admission and discharge during hospitalization in UIP-IPF patients. Results: In our cohort of patients with IPF, predominantly male, over an average follow-up period of 195.27 days. Serum levels of periostin and KL-6 were significantly elevated in IPF patients compared to healthy controls (*p < 0.05). Post-treatment, KL-6 levels decreased significantly, while periostin levels increased. Notably, periostin exhibited superior prognostic accuracy over KL-6, with a higher AUC of 0.875 than 0.639 in ROC analysis. An increase in periostin levels correlated with disease progression, as evidenced by worsened HRCT fibrotic scores and decreased survival probability. These findings underscore periostin's potential as a reliable biomarker for assessing IPF severity and therapeutic response. Conclusion: Our findings underscore the preeminence of serum periostin over KL-6 in UIP-IPF diagnosis, particularly when conjoined with HRCT fibrosis score. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article examines the depiction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in elite English media across Europe to discern sentiments and ideological disparities between China and the Western world. Using the PRISMA method, 1826 relevant research articles on the BRI were identified, and 42 were selected for detailed analysis. Additionally, 1357 news articles from the Financial Times, The Guardian and BBC from 2015 to 2023 underwent linguistic corpus analysis. Employing a three-dimensional critical discourse analysis (3d-CDA), the study scrutinized sample news articles, revealing ideological underpinnings across various dimensions and frames. The analysis indicates a growing negativity towards the BRI in European English media, with sentiments averaging 38% from 2015 to 2023 and peaking at 56% and 54% in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Ideological differences often discussed in academic circles include a contrast between the emphasis on individualism in the West and the values of collectivism prominent in Chinese culture. However, it is important to recognize the diversity within these broad categories. This research offers insights for BRI stakeholders and enriches academic discourse with updated data. Its novelty lies in its dual-tiered approach to news relevance for content analysis and the application of three-dimensional CDA to BRI news discourse, revealing ideological disparities not previously explored. Abstract Objective The spatial location of the orbital lymphoma target area is special; improving the quality of the orbital lymphoma plan and protecting the eye are important focus areas for doctors and physicists. This study aimed to investigate the dosimetric characteristics of the Agility grating system in orbital lymphoma. Methods A total of 10 patients with orbital lymphoma who underwent radiotherapy at the Ninth People's Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, from 1 May 2016 to 30 May 2018 were selected. The Monaco treatment planning system was used for calculation, and the MLCi2 and Agility grating data were selected, respectively. Dynamic intensity adjustment was carried out. In the calculation, the limit of other tissues is fixed, and only the limit of the patient's affected side crystal is changed. The limit range is changed from 4 to 20 Gy. The function is Serial, and each change is 2 Gy. The whole eye, the crystal, the optic nerve, and the target area's conformal index, homogeneity index, and planned hop count were calculated, respectively. Results With increased limitation of the affected side crystal, Agility was more advantageous in the parameters of conformal index, homogeneity index, the affected side of the optic nerve, the average amounts of the affected eye and side of the eye, and the planned number of hops. The conformal index difference rate was 27.12%. After dropping to 5.11%, the difference rate of the homogeneity index decreased from 11.52% to 1.57%, and the downward trend gradually slowed down (P 10 Gy, and there was no statistical difference.
