BackgroundElderly cataract patients with depressive symptoms have heavier self-perceived burden， and worse vision-related quality of life compared to patients without depressive symptoms， resulting in the increase of family burden. Most previous studies showed that family relationship and vision were the main factors leading to depression in elderly cataract patients， and ignored the effects of self-feeling and complicated diseases on the psychological state of elderly cataract patients.ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between depressive symptoms， self-perceived burden and postoperative vision-related quality of life in elderly cataract patients， and to analyze the risk factors of depressive symptoms. So as to provide references for targeted psychological intervention in this population.MethodsA total of 104 elderly cataract patients admitted to Jiangsu Province Hospital （The First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University） from July 1， 2020 to December 31， 2022 were included. General information， self-perceived burden and postoperative vision-related quality of life were investigated by self-designed questionnaire， Patients' Health Questionnaire depressive Scale-9 item （PHQ-9）， Self-Perceived Burden Scale （SPBS） and National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire-25 （NEI-VFQ-25）. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to analyze the correlation among PHQ-9， SPBS and NEI-VFQ-25 scores. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of depressive symptoms in eldery cataract patients.ResultsA total of 100 elderly cataract patients completed an effective questionnaire survey. This study aims to investigate the impact of salt field waste-generated bio-organic fertilizer application on the bacterial community structure within the rhizosphere soil of tea plants. After the administration of salt field waste-generated bio-organic fertilizer, the content of tea polyphenols in tea decreased, while the content of caffeine and free amino acids increased. The results showed that the dominant bacterial species in the rhizosphere soil of tea plants were Chloroflexi, Acidobacteriota, and Proteobacteria. The most dominant genus were k__Bacteria__p__Proteobacteria__c__uncultured__o__uncultured__f__uncultured__g__uncultured, k__Bacteria__p__Acidobacteriota__c__Acidobacteriae__o__Subgroup_2__f__Subgroup_2__g__Subgroup_2, k__Bacteria__p__Chloroflexi__c__AD3__o__AD3__f__AD3__g__AD3, k__Bacteria__p__Chloroflexi__c__Ktedonobacteria__o__Ktedonobacterales__f__Ktedonobacteraceae__g__HSB_OF53-F07, and g__Acidothermus. Following the application of bio-organic fertilizer, g__AD3, g__Subgroup_2, and g__HSB_OF53_F07 in the rhizosphere soil of the tea plants exhibited a decreasing trend compared to the control group. p_Proteobacteria was significantly increased, and p_Chloroflexi was considerably decreased in soils treated with bioorganic fertilizers, indicating that bio-organic fertilizers might influence the soil microbial structure in the rhizosphere soil of tea plants. Network association analyses showed a strong positive correlation between g_Candidatus_Solibacter and g_Bryobacter and a significant negative correlation between g_AD3 and g_ADurb.Bin063_1. Applying salt field waste-generated bio-organic fertilizers might effectively adjust the bacterial community structure in tea plants' rhizosphere soil, improving the quality of tea. Simple Summary: Many Vibrio species can be pathogens for aquatic macroalgae (e.g., Saccharina), animals (e.g., fish and shellfish) and even humans. Studies on the diversity and ecological distribution of Vibrio spp. will contribute to the conservation of aquatic aquaculture and have extremely important research value in terms of economic developments. Therefore, in this study, the distribution patterns of total and culturable Vibrio spp. in seawater along Ría de Vigo were investigated by cultivable methods, qPCR and high-throughput sequencing. The results of this study can provide a reference for management and pathogen prevention in aquaculture ecosystems in the context of global climate change. The genus Vibrio is genetically and ecologically diverse, resulting in severe economic losses in aquacultural macroalgae and animals. Studies on vibrios will contribute to the conservation of aquatic aquaculture in Ría de Vigo (Spain), which is famous for its shellfish farming activity. However, limited research focused on the diversity and distribution of Vibrio spp. in Ría de Vigo has been reported. Here, a slight increase in the abundance of Vibrio spp. was recorded from inshore to the open sea by quantitative PCR (qPCR). Vibrios were more abundant in the free-living (FL) than in the particle-associated (PA) fraction, showing that FL might be their preferential lifestyle. Photobacterium piscicola, Vibrio japonicus and Vibrio harveyi, which are serious pathogens for fish and invertebrates in mariculture, were found to be the dominant species across all samples by high-throughput sequencing and analyses and were mainly affected by stochastic processes. More colony-forming units and species of vibrios were recorded at 16 °C (18 species) than at 28 °C (6 species), and five isolates (5.05% of the total isolates) showed low 16S rRNA gene similarity (<98.65%) to the known strains. The results indicate that culture conditions closer to the in situ temperature may help to isolate more Vibrio species. Our findings may contribute to local aquatic aquaculture research, providing background information and novel insights for management and pathogen prevention in aquaculture, and more studies should focus on Ría de Vigo to acquire novel or pathogenic microbes in the future. Vugs are usually distributed in carbonate reservoirs, which have an important contribution to oil reserves. The number, size, distribution mode, and distance from the well of vugs are important factors affecting the transient pressure response, which cannot be fully described by continuum mode. Therefore, a discontinuum single-phase oil model which treat the vug as an aquifer is proposed to study the effect of vugs on transient pressure response. Four oilfield cases are used to calibrate and validate the proposed model and code. After verifying the model, a vertical well model is established to conduct the sensitivity study. We found that the larger the vug, the greater the number of vugs and the closer the distance between the vug and the well, the greater the effect. When multiple vugs are symmetrically distributed around the well and the formation is isotropic, it can be equivalent to a large vugs which means that the derivative curve of pressure can only reflect the characteristics of one vug but not all vugs. The findings of this study can help for better understanding of effect of vugs on the transient pressure response and have great significance for further exploration and development of carbonate reservoir. Accurately counting the number of sorghum seedlings from images captured by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) is useful for identifying sorghum varieties with high seedling emergence rates in breeding programs. The traditional method is manual counting, which is time-consuming and laborious. Recently, UAV have been widely used for crop growth monitoring because of their low cost, and their ability to collect high-resolution images and other data non-destructively. However, estimating the number of sorghum seedlings is challenging because of the complexity of field environments. The aim of this study was to test three models for counting sorghum seedlings rapidly and automatically from red-green-blue (RGB) images captured at different flight altitudes by a UAV. The three models were a machine learning approach (Support Vector Machines, SVM) and two deep learning approaches (YOLOv5 and YOLOv8). The robustness of the models was verified using RGB images collected at different heights. The R2 values of the model outputs for images captured at heights of 15 m, 30 m, and 45 m were, respectively, (SVM: 0.67, 0.57, 0.51), (YOLOv5: 0.76, 0.57, 0.56), and (YOLOv8: 0.93, 0.90, 0.71). Therefore, the YOLOv8 model was most accurate in estimating the number of sorghum seedlings. The results indicate that UAV images combined with an appropriate model can be effective for large-scale counting of sorghum seedlings. This method will be a useful tool for sorghum phenotyping. The primary objective of this study is to facilitate the conversion of inorganic selenium (Se) into organic Se within plants via assimilation, subsequently feeding it to livestock and poultry to enhance healthy animal production and yield Se-enriched livestock and poultry products. Therefore, it is imperative to first investigate the impact of varying Se doses on the agronomic traits of plants as well as their forage storage and processing. This experiment investigated the effect of Se fertilizer application on the fermentation quality, chemical composition, and bacterial community of Pennisetum americanum × Pennisetum purpureum cv Minmu 7 (HPM7). There were nine Se fertilizer dissolution levels of HPM7 treated, which were 0 mg/kg (Se0), 0.50 mg/kg (Se1), 1.00 mg/kg (Se2), 2.00 mg/kg (Se3), 5.00 mg/kg (Se4), 10.00 mg/kg (Se5), 20.00 mg/kg (Se6), 30.00 mg/kg (Se7), 40.00 mg/kg (Se8), and 50.00 mg/kg (Se9). The results showed that after silage, the water-soluble carbohydrates of Se1, Se2, and Se3 were lower than Se0, and the pH of Se3, Se4, and Se6 were lower than the Se0. The number of OTUs in the nine groups was sequentially Se1 > Se2 > Se3 > Se8 > Se6 > Se5 > Se7 > Se4 > Se0. The dominant bacterial phyla in silage samples were Firmicutes and Proteobacteria. Compared with Se0, Bacterial Shannon index in Se1 and Se2 were higher, while Chao1 and ACE indices of Se1, Se2, Se3, Se5, and Se6 were higher. A beta diversity analysis indicated that the Se1 exhibited the highest number of significant biomarkers. Escherichia coli between Se0 and Se3 and Clostridium sardiniense and Clostridium perfringens between Se0 and Se1 exhibited significant differences at a species level. The most abundant pathways for metabolism were membrane transport, carbohydrate metabolism, translation, replication, repair, and amino acid metabolism. The correlation analysis indicated that the dry matter content was negatively correlated with Bacillus (p < 0.01), Lactobacillus (p < 0.05), Pediococcus (p < 0.05), and Hirschia (p < 0.05); the contents of neutral detergent fiber and hemi-cellulose were positively correlated with Lactobacillus (p < 0.05, p < 0.01). The protein content was negatively correlated with proteus (p < 0.05). This study demonstrated that the application of Se fertilizer could enhance the Se content in HPM7. The optimal fertilization concentration was found to range from 0.50 to 2.00 mg/kg, which facilitates the metabolism of soluble carbohydrates and enhances both the fermentation quality and microbial relative abundance of HPM7 silage. Background Obinutuzumab is a humanized and glycoengineered anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody that has been shown to induce more profound B-cell depletion than rituximab. The effectiveness and safety of obinutuzumab in the treatment of membranous nephropathy remain unclear. Methods This was a retrospective study conducted in Huashan Hospital, Fudan University between 1 December 2021 and 30 November 2023. Patients with membranous nephropathy were included to assess the effectiveness and safety of obinutuzumab and prevalence of severe pneumonia during the outbreak of COVID-19 in China. Results Eighteen patients were included in the study assessing the effectiveness of obinutuzumab. After a 12-month follow-up, 14 patients (78%) achieved remission, with six (33%) achieving complete remission and eight (44%) achieving partial remission. Among the 18 obinutuzumab-treated patients contracting COVID-19 for the first time, six (33%) developed severe pneumonia, and one died. By contrast, two of the 37 patients receiving glucocorticoids combined with cyclophosphamide, and none of the 44 patients on calcineurin inhibitors or the 46 patients on rituximab developed severe pneumonia. However, compared to patients receiving rituximab or glucocorticoids plus cyclophosphamide, the obinutuzumab-treated patients had a longer duration of membranous nephropathy and immunosuppressive therapy. Therefore, cardinal matching was employed to balance these baseline characteristics. Owing to small sample size for each regimen, patients receiving all the three non-obinutuzumab immunosuppressive regimens were grouped as a control cohort. After matching for age, gender, remission status, duration of membranous nephropathy, duration of immunosuppressive therapy, and ongoing immunosuppression, the obinutuzumab-treated patients still had a significantly higher incidence of severe pneumonia compared to those on other regimens (P  = .019). Conclusion Obinutuzumab was an effective treatment option for patients with membranous nephropathy. For the past few decades, metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) have been the most important application in IC circuits. In certain circuit applications, the breakdown voltage and specific on-resistance serve as key electrical parameters. This article introduces a readily accessible approach to enhance the source–drain breakdown voltage (BVDS) of MOSFETs based on the Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) platform without extra costs. By attentively refining the process steps and intricacies of the doping procedures, the breakdown voltages of NMOS and PMOS experienced increments of 3.4 V and 4.6 V, translating to enhancements of 31.5% and 50.3%. Parallel simulations offer insightful mechanistic explanations through simulation tools, facilitating superior outcomes.
