التغير المناخي أصبح مشكلة عالمية ويترتب عليه الكثير من المشكلات التي تؤثر بشكل مباشر على حياة الأفراد. وهذا الأمر البيئي له مسببات مباشرة وغير مباشرة يتسبب بها الفرد، وبالتالي يتأثر بها في صور مختلفة قد تؤدى إلى مستوي معيشي سيء نتيجة لتدهور البيئة الطبيعية، موارد الطاقة، الانبعاثات الكربونية إلى جانب التأثير السلبي على صحة الأفراد. وأهداف الاستدامة تطالب بتحقيق مدن آمنة، مستدامة ومرنة مثل المدن الصحية للتكيف مع التغير المناخي وما يترتب عليه. لهذا كان توجه الورقة البحثية نحو تقديم حل إلزامي لتحسين بيئة الأفراد في مواجهة تلك المؤثرات من أجل تحقيق مدن صحية توفر جودة الحياة وخاصة على النطاق المحلى. فتناولت الورقة البحثية توضيح مفهوم التغير المناخي من مسببات وعوائق وعلاقته بالمدن وقاطنيها وصولا إلى أهمية تحقيق مدن تتناول جودة معيشية للأفراد قاطنيها حتى يتحقق مفهوم المدن الصحية. لذلك فقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الاستقرائي حيث يقوم البحث بتناول المفاهيم والمعايير التي توضح ماهية المدن الصحية ومقارنتها بالمدن التقليدية يليه تحليل لمعايير المدن الصحية وعمل استبانة لمتخصصين وغير متخصصين لإدراك مدى الوعي البيئي وتقييمهم لآليا ت ومعايير تصميم المدينة الصحية من أجل الوصول لمخطط تنفيذي لتحويل المدن التقليدية لمدن صحية داخل مصر. Climate change has become a global problem with many problems directly affecting people's lives. This environmental order has direct and indirect causes caused by the individual and is therefore influenced in diverse ways that may lead to a poor standard of living because of the degradation of the natural environment, energy resources, carbon emissions and the negative impact on individuals' health. Sustainability goals demand safe, sustainable, and resilient cities such as healthy cities to adapt to climate change and its consequences. The paper was therefore geared towards providing a compulsory solution to improve people's environment in the face of those impacts to achieve healthy cities that provide quality of life, especially on the local scale. The paper explains the concept of climate change as a cause and impediment and its relationship with cities and their inhabitants to achieve cities that address the quality of life of their inhabitants so that the concept of healthy cities can be achieved. The research is based on the inductive approach. The research addresses the concepts and criteria that illustrate what healthy cities are and compare them with traditional cities. That followed by an analysis of the standards of healthy cities and a questionnaire of specialists and non-specialists to understand the extent of environmental awareness and their assessment of the mechanism and the design criteria of a healthy city to achieve an operational scheme to transform traditional cities into healthy cities within Egypt. more...

Buildings are constructed and operated to satisfy human needs and improve quality of life. Good indoor air quality (IAQ) and thermal comfort are prerequisites for human health and well-being. For their provision, buildings often rely on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, which may lead to higher energy consumption. This directly impacts energy efficiency goals and the linked climate change considerations. The balance between energy use, optimum IAQ and thermal comfort calls for scientifically solid and well-established limit values for exposures experienced by building occupants in indoor spaces, including homes, schools, and offices.The present paper aims to appraise limit values for selected indoor pollutants reported in the scientific literature, and to present how they are handled in international and national guidelines and standards. The pollutants include carbon dioxide (CO2), formaldehyde (CH2O), particulate matter (PM), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon monoxide (CO), and radon (Rn). Furthermore, acknowledging the particularly strong impact on energy use from HVAC, ventilation, indoor temperature (T), and relative humidity (RH) are also included, as they relate to both thermal comfort and the possibilities to avoid moisture related problems, such as mould growth and proliferation of house dust mites.Examples of national regulations for these parameters are presented, both in relation to human requirements in buildings and considering aspects related to energy saving. The work is based on the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) guidelines database, which spans across countries and institutions, and aids in taking steps in the direction towards a more uniform guidance for values of indoor parameters. One of the most important variables that we observe in our daily lives is the change in the shape of the housing elevations , Requirements and needs of the resident . so the research aims to finding the design indicators to forming the housing elevations which compatible with alteration of resident requirment from the connection with housing characteristcs which consider as one of the aims of house designing , it describe as the main scale for selecting house Performance efficiency . Through this research we can highlight the essence of resident requirements and Study the concept of architecture form of house elevation , Identify design characteristics and its components , The study examined the human requirements within the residential environment and its classification, studying the functional requirements and needs of the housing elevations, obtaining data and analyzing them, and then finding the indicators for changing the elevations according to the changing requirements by studying the correlation between the physical value of the dwelling, The theoretical foundations of applying these variables to a group of samples selected by the study community using the graphical analysis form, obtaining the data and tabulating them in special tables and reaching conclusions for the final recommendations. more...

Choosing optimal and suitable trees and shrubs in urban areas can minimize the negative influences and increase the positive effects and the aesthetic acceptance by urban residents. Additional challenges in the selection of trees and shrubs are user requirements and growth conditions at urban sites. Therefore, the selection of planted trees and shrubs in cities has to incorporate these location-specific factors. Based on an extensive literature review, more than 390 woody plants were investigated to obtain a comprehensive assessment of specific characteristics by integrating specific urban aspects. Within this study, a database was developed that allows users to simultaneously consider site characteristics and natural distribution, tree appearance, ecosystem services, management activities, and the risks and interferences caused by urban woody plants. The developed Citree database is useful for preventing mistakes in planning, which would otherwise result in high ecologic and economic costs.
