Abstract

Thomas Mann gehört zu den bedeutendsten, produktivsten und wirkungsmächtigsten Schriftstellern des 20. Jahrhunderts. Sein Werk umfasst neben Romanen und Erzählungen, die einen hohen Grad an thematischer und motivischer Vielfalt aufweisen, auch Korrespondenzen und Essays, die Auseinandersetzungen mit den sozialen, politischen und kulturellen Phänomenen des späten 19. und des 20. Jahrhunderts thematisieren. Bemerkenswert ist hier, dass das kleinepische Werk gleichberechtigt neben den Romanen existiert, sowohl aus der Perspektive der Philologie als auch aus der des Autors. Ein Themenkomplex, der dabei von wiederkehrendem Charakter ist, ist die Künstlerthematik und -problematik. Hierbei fand besonders die Erforschung des Künstlerbildes im novellistischen Werk bereits unter der Berücksichtigung multipler und bis in kleinste Spezifik vordringender Aspekte statt. Jedoch wurde es bisher versäumt, eine Studie anzufertigen, welche einen allgemein gefassten Überblick über alle Künstlertypen des kleinepischen Werks bietet. Genau dies soll mit der vorliegenden Arbeit geleistet werden, um eine möglichst universale Überschau und Zusammenstellung der auftretenden Typologien von Künstlern zu ermöglichen und zugleich eine hierarchische Struktur zu etablieren, welche die unterschiedlichen Künstlertypen hinsichtlich ihrer Bedeutung bezüglich des Novellenwerks eingliedert.

9. Badania fibrokompozytu cementowego z dużym udziałem przemysłowych produktów ubocznych, twardniejącego w warunkach naprężeń pokrytycznych

Abstract

This work aims at experimental investigation of several variants of fiber reinforced cementitious composite with strain hardening made partially with industrial by-products. This paper describes the manufacturing, testing and evaluating the properties of the composite. Industrial waste produced mainly in Moravia-Silesia Region in the Czech Republic was used for the manufacturing of the fiber reinforced cementitious composite with strain hardening. The basic physical and mechanical properties were measured - volume density of wet and hardened composite, consistency, tensile, flexural and compressive strength and elastic modulus. The findings show that the fiber reinforced cementitious composite made partially with industrial by-products is a suitable material for sustainable constructions. Web of Science 24 6 480 471

Abstract

The Optical fiber DTS (Distribution Temperature Systems) are unique distributed temperature systems using optical fiber as a sensor. These systems are able to measure the temperature along the fiber, in some case they can measure tension as well. For their function they use nonlinear effect in optical fiber (Raman nonlinear effect, Brillouin nonlinear effect). The greatest advantage of this sensor system is just using of the optical fiber (electromagnetic resistance, small size, safety using in inflammable and explosive area, easy installation, etc.). The Optical fiber DTS systems can be used with advantage even in areas, where the using of classic sensors would be problematic. The typical example is monitoring of outflows in pipelines, illegal service connection etc. In some processes it is necessary to know exact temperature (tension) in particular points. There it can appear a problem with resolution of the optical-fiber DTS. This article deals with problems of the optical meanders implementation into the building processes.

Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout a optimalizovat uzavírací mechanismus pecních vrat. V teoretické části se nachází popis komorové pece vozové a její hlavní části. Dále se práce zaměřuje na způsoby zavírání, otevírání a dotlačování vrat pece. Následuje praktická část, kde je popsán problém při dotlačování vrat a jeho možné řešení. V práci jsou tedy navrhnuty možné způsoby přítlaku vrat pece a vybraná varianta je detailně rozpracována v navazujících kapitolách., The aim of this thesis is to design and optimize the furnace door closing mechanism. The theoretical part descriptions chamber furnaces vehicle and its main components. The thesis focuses on ways of closing, opening and pressing of furnace door. The problem with pressing of furnace door and its possible solutions are described in practical part. Possible ways to pressure of furnace door are suggested in thesis. 21. Fiber optical sensor for high temperatures

Abstract

Vláknově optické senzory nacházejí uplatnění v různých odvětvích průmyslu. Výhody optických senzorů jsou založeny na výhodách optických vláken a částečně těží na jejich technologickém vývoji. Vláknově optické senzory teploty, jsou založeny na více způsobech snímání, u všech dosahuje horní mez snímání kolem přibližně 600°C. Cílem článku je představit princip senzoru založeného na záření černého tělesa. Tento typ senzoru je obtížné přesněji specifikovat, nedá se jednoduše zařadit do skupiny intenzitních senzorů ani radiačních senzorů. Při nižších teplotách by se dal zařadit do intenzitních senzorů, ale při zvyšující se teplotě dochází i uvnitř k jeho vlastní emisi fotonů. The fiber optic sensors are used in various industries. Advantages of optical sensors are based on the benefits of fiber and partially profit at their technological advances. The fiber optic temperature sensors are based on more than one way of scanning, all reach the upper scanning limit of about 600 °C. This article aims to introduce the principle of the sensor based on black body radiation. This type of sensor is difficult to specify precisely, it can not be easily classified into groups of intensity sensors or radiation sensors. At lower temperatures, it could be classified into intensity sensors, but at higher temperatures occurs to its own radiation of photons inside the fiber.

26. RESULTS OF INVESTIGATION INTO THE BEHAVIOUR OF A GROUTED STEEL BOLT ABUTMENT SET ON A LABORATORY PHYSICAL MODEL.

Abstract

The article brings outputs of laboratory tests that have been conducted on physical model of embedded bolt on a model scale 1:1. The Physical model consists of a cylindrical concrete block of a diameter of 150 mm that a thick-wall cylindrical steel sleeve envelopes. The unconfined compressive strength of concrete block is 70 MPa and modulus of elasticity 25 GPa. The bolt rod is grouted in the borehole of a diameter 34 mm drilled in the cylinder block center. The tests have been carried out for steel ribbed rod of diameter 24/27 mm cemented in the borehole with fly ash and cement mortar respectively. The lengths of the rod bolt abutment are 150, 300 to 450 mm. On prepared models of grouted steel bolt abutment there was done pull-out test to record the tensile pull-out force at bolt head and the displacements at two points of the bolt rod on start and end of the abutment section. Another output of the test on the physical model clarifies the causes and documents the abutment failure for both mortar materials. The both examined mortar materials show different behavior with regard to both scrutinized phenomena pull-out test curves and mode of abutment failure. Outputs are documented on graph for pull-out test and photos for the abutment failures. From the pull-out test record for the surveyed abutment lengths and both mortar materials are extracted the maximum tensile forces at abutment failure and next set up dependency for the maximum strength on the length.
