Hypnobirthing bertujuan agar ibu dapat melahirkan dengan nyaman dan menghilangkan rasa sakit melahirkan tanpa bantuan obat bius apapun. Hypnobirthing mengekspolarasi mitos bahwa rasa sakit adalah hal yang wajar dan dibutuhkan saat melahirkan normal. Saat wanita yang melahirkan terbebas dari rasa takut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari efektifitas hypnobirthing pada ibu bersalin terhadap apgar scor satu menit pertama pada bayi baru lahir di Rumah Sakit Khusus Daerah Ibu Dan Anak Siti Fatimah Makassar. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan November 2020-Januari 2021 di Rumah Sakit Khusus Daerah Ibu dan Anak Siti Fatimah Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Eksperiment Two Group dengan rancangan Posttest Only With Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu bersalin dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 30 orang dimana 15 orang yang diberikan hypnobirthing dan 15 orang tidak diberi hypnobirthing dengan pengambilan sampel secara Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 responden dijadikan sampel, ibu yang diberikan hypnobirthing sebanyak 15 orang (50,0%) dan yang tidak diberikan hypnobirthing sebanyak 15 orang (50,0%) dan pada ibu yang diberikan hypnobirthing memiliki apgar skor normal sebanyak 12 orang (80,0%) dan yang memiliki apgar skor tidak normal sebanyak 3 orang (20%), sedangkan pada ibu yang tidak diberikan hypnobirthing memiliki apgar skor normal sebanyak 4 orang (26,67%) dan yang tidak memiliki apgar skor normal sebanyak 11 orang (73,33%). Terdapat efektifitas hypnobirthing pada ibu bersalin terhadap APGAR Scor satu menit pertama pada bayi baru lahir di Rumah Sakit Khusus Daerah Ibu dan Anak Siti Fatimah Makassar. Diharapkan kepada bidan yang bertugas agar lebih meningkatkan perhatiannya dalam memberikan informasi tentang hypnobirthing pada ibu bersalin terhadap APGAR Skor satu menit pertama pada bayi baru lahir.

Almost all maternal experienced anxiety and fear during pregnancy, labor, and after childbirth. One of the methods is used to reduce childbirth anxiety namely hypnobirthing. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the implementation of hypnobirthing in third trimester pregnant women at the Diana Panitra Clinic Medan in 2020. The design of this study used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The population of the study were all 30 third trimester pregnant women, and sample using accidental sampling techniques. The independent variables in this study are knowledge, husband's support, distance from facilities, and mother's interest. The instrument used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used univariate and bivariate analyses. The results showed that there is a relationship implementation of hypnobirthing between knowledge with p-value (sig) = 0.044, husband's support with p-value (sig) = 0.004, facility distance and p-value (sig) = 0.019, and maternal interest with p-value (sig) = 0.015. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge, husband's support, the distance of facilities, and mother's interest with the implementation of hypnobirthing in trimester III pregnant women at the Diana Panitra Clinic Medan in 2020. And it is hoped that health workers will participate in providing information about the benefits of hypnobirthing during pregnancy.

Our aim was, to examine the effect of supportive care provided based on the philosophy of HypnoBirthing during labor fear, pain, duration, satisfaction, and cost. Study was single-blind, randomized controlled trial using a pre-post and control group design. It was conducted with 60 nulliparous women during childbirth. This study showed that the levels of labor fear, pain duration and cost were lower and the levels of satisfaction the labor experience were higher in the intervention group. This care also plays an effective role in reducing the cost of labor. It is recommended that this program should be used during labor. © 2020 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

PURPOSE: To determine the effectiveness of antenatal period hypnobirthing education for childbirth fear and labor pain management during labor. STUDY DESIGN: A quasi-experimental methodological study to assess the education of hypnobirthing. Women were recruited from Eskişehir State Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Turkey between 24 and 26 pregnancy weeks and July 1–September 1, 2016 and the hypnobirthing education was given 5 weeks in the antenatal period. Participants; 30 Turkish-speaking pregnant women. Following labor, questionnaires were completed in hospital by women in order to assess the mother and infant after birth and determine the effect of education first 24 hours after birth. FINDINGS: It was determined that hypnobirthing knowledge scores after education of the participating pregnancies decreased significantly, Wijma Delivery Expectancy/Experience Questionnaire-Version B (WDEQ-B) scale score decreased significantly (p = 0.002). Participating laborers; (p = 0.448), but there was also no significant relationship between birth satisfaction scores (p = 0.540) and posttraining hypnobirthing information status scores and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores. Hypnobirthing is one of the hypnosis techniques (self-hypnosis), which is a natural effort to instill positive intentions/suggestions into the soul / subconscious mind during pregnancy and childbirth preparation. Primipara is a woman who gives birth for the first time and tends to experience more intense pain than multiparas. The only practice of midwives in the city of Medan that uses hypnobirthing is Rumah Sehat Kasih Bunda. This study was conducted to determine the effect of hypnobirthing relaxation techniques on decreasing pain in the first stage of normal labor in primipara in Rumah Sehat Kasih Bunda in 2019. This study was a Quasi Experiment with the Pretest-Postest design with a control group. The number of samples was ten people, namely five respondents as experiments and five respondents as controls. The sampling procedure uses an accidental sampling technique — retrieval of data using questionnaires. Data analysis carried out by univariate and bivariate with the t-independent test. The results showed that there was an effect of hypnobirthing relaxation techniques on normal labor because there was a decrease in pain in the first stage of normal labor in primiparas after hypnobirthing did. We recommend that pregnant women and mothers who will give birth take classes for pregnant women who not only focus on pregnancy but also about hypnobirthing and are advised to use hypnobirthing relaxation techniques to reduce pain in the first stage of labor.

The pain of childbirth is one of the factors that causes a mother to become anxious even to the point ofdespair, so mothers tend to choose a shortcut to speed up their childbirth, either by requesting an operation,or by taking a remedy to relieve the pain by taking an analgesic drug, whereas pain caused during childbirthis pathological because of the effects of changing uterus that creates pathways or openings.The type of research is experimental quantitative research using Quasi Experimental method, namelyexperimental design with the observation design (measurement pain intensity) before and after treatment(Hypnobirthing treatment) which consists of the two group, namely the intervention group (Hypnobiththing)and the control group. Sampling was taken from June to August 2020 with the number of samplingsintervention group (Hypnobiththing) as many as 20 respondents and the control group as 20 respondents.Data analysis method uses Univariate and Bivariate with t-test using SPSS Computer Program.The results were obtained with the average of pain intensity in childbirth after being given Hypnobiththinghada decrease in pain while the control class was upgraded. The results of statistical test are presented ? valuaby 0.000 at the mistaken rate of (?) 5% or 0,05 (trust 95%) so value is ? < ?. The data indicated that therewas a significant (apparent) of Hypnobiththingtreatment in childbirth relief. The conclusion of this researchwas that there was a significant Hypnobiththing effect on the treatment of childbirth at KlinikPratama RakyatHospital. That was expected for midwife duty at KlinikPratama Rakyat Hospital to adopt the method ofHypnobirthing to assist the mothers with normal childbirth.

Many problems can occur due to labor pains that are not properly managed. Pain during labor is caused by uterine contractions which can result in increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system which can affect psychological conditions including the mother's perception of pain and anxiety during labor. Various methods are carried out as efforts to reduce labor pain, including non-pharmacological methods using the Hypnobirthing technique. This literature study aims to determine the effect of hypnobirthing techniques on pain intensity in labor mothers. Method : research method using literature study method. This study is a literature review, the source for conducting this literature includes search studies in the form of research journals totaling 10 journals. Using the 2015-2020 publication year. Choose journals according to scientific articles. Result : There is an influence between the use of hypnobirthing techniques on the intensity of pain in laboring mothers such as the reference journal that I took, which states that of the 30 research samples, 15 respondents who were given hypnobirthing as much as 60% experienced moderate pain, and 15 respondents who were not given hypnobirthing were 66.7% experiencing severe pain. Conclusion : Hypnobirthing techniques can affect the reduction of pain in laboring mothers.

This commentary is written to mark 10 years of comprehensive maternal scholarship undertaken across the Journal. In this piece I return to reflect on the gap between women’s anticipations of labour and birth and their experiences, as births appear to be becoming more interventionist. This leads me to invite a debate about why this might be and whether it matters?

In order to examine hypnotherapy, the psycho-physiological science underpinning the practice is an important issue and is significant for the use of hypnotherapy by women in labour and birth. Contemporary literature regarding hypnotherapy and its’ side effects and limitations focuses on the culture inherent in hypnotherapy ideology, whilst the pertinent ethical issues that arise and question its alignment with the contemporary midwifery perspective are an important factor within midwifery care. While it is possible for women to undertake hypnotherapy through self-taught measures, this paper will focus on women purchasing the CAM therapy, including the services of a supportive hypnotherapist who trains and partners with women antenatally and through their labour and birth.

Tubuh secara otomatis mengeluarkan hormon stress yaitu Katekolamin dan Adrenali, sehingga menghambat pengeluaran hormon oksitosin yang menyebabkan kontraksi rahim berkurang, hal ini akan mempersulit proses persalinan. Alternative alami yang bisa dilakukan ibu hamil untuk membuat jiwa menjadi lebih tenang dan membantu meringankan rasa sakit dan cemas saat kontraksi serta mempercepat proses persalinan adalah dengan teknik hypnobirthing. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa pengaruh hypnobirthing terhadap kala I persalinan di klinik Pratama Mulia Medica Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Jenis penelitian analitik dengan rancangan penelitian case control. Populasi dalam penelitian seluruh ibu bersalin di Klinik Pratama Mulia Medica berjumlah 208 ibu, dengan sampel kasus yaitu 77 kala I memanjang dan sampel control 77 kala I tidak memanjang. Uji statistik penelitian ini menggunakan chi- square. Terdapat pengaruh kuat hypnobirthing terhadap kala I pada ibu bersalin, hal ini dibuktikan dengan P value = 0,000, r = 0,716 dan OR = 38,812. Bagi ibu hamil agar dapat maksimal mengikuti kelas ibu hamil hypnobirthing sehingga tenang dan nyaman menjalankan masa kehamilan dan menghadapi saat bersalin. The population in the study all mothers giving birth at the Clinic Pratama Mulia mother Medica totaled 208, with a sample of 77 cases which extends the first stage and 77 control samples of the first stage is not elongated. There are about 2.8 million incident of perineal rupture in maternal physiological labor. In 2050,it is estimated that the incidence of perineal rupture can be 6.3 million if it is not accompanied by a good midwifery care. In 2016, in Trawas, there was (89%) perineal rupture in primiparas and (57%) perineal rupture in multiparas. Perineal rupture incidences due to parity were still very high. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parity and the incidence of perineal rupture . Childbirth is a physiological process. In women giving birth, the time span is marked by uterine contractions characterized by pain, regularity, cervical dilatation and cervical effacement. One method of using active birth that has been carried out in Indonesia is the use of birth balls and hypnobirthing as a form of effort to provide maternal care in helping the birth process with evidence base The purpose of this study was to study the differences in the use of active birth with birthball and hypnobirthing methods on the length of the first stage of labor. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a cross-sectional approach, the research design is Posttest Only Design. The research was conducted in May - December 2020 at the Independent Practice Midwife in Padang City. The sample of this study were primiparous mothers who had gestational age at term (37-42 weeks) and had no complications. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The sample is 20 people, with 10 samples using the birthball technique and 10 samples using the hypnobirthing technique. Data were obtained by using observation sheets. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate. Statistical test using Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that the average length of labor in the first stage using birthball was 3.15 ± 0.29 and the average length of labor in the first stage using hypnobirthing was 3.55 ± 0.27. The difference in the mean length of the first stage of labor between the 2 groups was 0.40. the results of statistical tests using the Mann Whitney test obtained p value 0.000 (p 0.05) which means that there is a significant difference in the use of active birth with the birthball method and hypnotherapy for the first stage of labor. It can be concluded that the difference in the the use of active birth with birthball and hypnobirthing methods on the length of the first stage of labor.

This article takes at its starting point the idea that maternalism and entrepreneurialism are necessarily antithetical as Julie Stephens argues in Confronting Postmaternal Thinking: Feminism, Memory, and Care [2012. New York: Columbia University Press]. Building on scholarship which shows how motherhood has become commercialised and commodified in contemporary culture, we extend this field by investigating how mothers who are providers of services to other mothers and pregnant women are negotiating neoliberalism and entrepreneurialism. Through an empirical investigation of birth and parenting entrepreneurs–including hypnobirthing classes and placenta pill businesses–in Bristol, UK we argue that our self-employed participants were building community and care economies within neoliberal modes of self-production, thus suggesting a more complex and ambivalent relationship between entrepreneurialism and postmaternalism. We suggest that the experiences of women entrepreneurs or ‘mumpreneurs’ offer insights into how the spaces of work might be, counter to Stephens’ characterisation, places of negotiation and struggle for the politics of feminism, rather than sites of ‘anti-maternalism’ or the ‘forgetting’ of maternalism. Moreover, our participants’ accounts were strongly shaped by feminist ethics of care thus challenging the representation of such services as therapeutic postfeminist technologies of self-work.

This article describes a project that was set up to offer user participation in the development of a group for pregnant women and new mothers in an area of the UK where attendance at NHS antenatal classes and other groups was low. Responsibility for the implementation of the project was shared between a midwife, a health visitor and a children's centre manager who successfully applied for an NHS Patients First programme bursary from the Foundation of Nursing Studies. In the first 6 months of the project, women sampled crafts, music, ‘pampering’ and hypnobirthing, and worked with facilitators to design a rolling programme of activities of their choice. The aims of the project included building confidence for labour and motherhood, and making connections with a supportive local network of fellow mothers and children's centre staff.

Background : Neonatus given birth by pregnant mothers suffering from excessive anxiety and stress have higher risk of low-birthweight, small head circumference, low APGAR score at birth, in adequate neurologyc development, premature birth, weak immunity system, and emotional disorder, than those given birth by happy mothers. This study aimed to examine the effect of effectiveness of hypnobirthing in reducing anxiety level during delivery. Subjects and Method : This was an analytic experimental study with Randomized Control Trial (RCT) design. A sample of 30 pregnant mothers near delivery date was selected for this study and allocated into hypnobirthing group and no-hypnobirthing group. The dependent variable was anxiety during delivery. The independent variable was hypnobirthing. The anxiety level between the two groups was tested by Mann Whitney. Results : After intervention, pregnant mothers who received hypnobirthing had anxiety level as low as 41.33 (p=0.003). Pregnant mothers who did not receive hypnobirthing had anxiety level as low as 51.60 (p=0.003). The reduction of anxiety between the two groups was statistically significant. This manuscript presents a preliminary examination of the characteristics of women who choose intrapartum hypnosis for pain management.Cross-sectional analysis of 2445 women (31-36 years) from a sub-study of the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health (ALSWH), employing Fisher exact tests.Australia.Use of intrapartum hypnosis, or hypnobirthing, for pain management during labour and birth.Women using hypnobirthing were more likely to have consulted with an acupuncturist or naturopath, or attended yoga/meditation classes during pregnancy (p0.0001). Use of CM products such as herbal medicines, aromatherapy oils, homoeopathy, herbal teas or flower essences (p0.001) was also more common amongst these women. Women choosing hypnotherapy for intrapartum pain management less commonly identified as feeling safer knowing that an obstetrician is providing their care (p0.001), and were more likely to labour in a birth centre or in a community centre (i.e. at home).This analysis provides preliminary analysis into an as yet unexamined topic in contemporary maternity health service utilisation. The findings from this analysis may be useful for maternity health professionals and policy makers when responding to the needs of women choosing to use hypnotherapy for intrapartum pain management.

Trimester III is the period of pregnancy which is calculated from the gestational age of the 28th week to the 40th week. Psychological changes in pregnant women are estimated to occur 80%. third trimester. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of hypnobirthing, yoga and pregnancy exercise on the anxiety level of third trimester pregnant women at BPM Griya Bunda Ceria in 2020. Research method: quantitative research, using the shapiro wilt test method with pre-test and post-test approaches. in this study were all third trimester pregnant women who checked their pregnancy at BPM Griya Bunda Ceria Palembang. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by means of observation using a questionnaire sheet. The results: obtained from a total of 15 respondents. Based on the results of the Shapiro Wilt test, the p-Value is 0.05 where >α = 0.05 means that there is a significant influence between before and after hypnobirthing is done.statistically, the p-Value is 0,000, meaning that there is a significant effect between before and after yoga. Thus the hypothesis which states that there is an effect of yoga on the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester which is statistically proven based on the paired shapiro wilt test, the p-Value is 0.00 in yoga, p-Value is 0.00 in pregnancy exercise, and the statistical test results are said to be related if the value The calculated p-Value = 0.05, then Ho is accepted, meaning that the two variables have no significant relationship.

Background: Problems in childbirth, including old labor, which is one of the causes of death for mothers and newborns, is still widely found in Indonesia. Factors that influence labor to take longer are abnormal presentation, inadequate contractions, birth canal abnormalities, multiple pregnancies and anemia. To deal with prolonged labor, the UK has introduced active birth techniques. Hypnobirthing is one of the active birth methods that can be used during the first stage of labor. This research purposes to study the effect of the application of the active birth technique using hypnobirthing on the progress of the first stage of labor in the mother.Methods: This type of research was quasi experimental with the post-test only design approach. This research was conducted from 15 May to 18 August 2020, in 4 independent practice midwives (BPM) Padang City in 2020. Data were collected through observation sheets using non-probability sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling with a total sample of 15 samples. Data were collected using observation sheets. Data were analysed using univariate and bivariate analysis using the dependent T-test.Results: The results showed that the mean labor progress using hypnobirthing was 3.67 and SD±1.49 with a minimum value of 1 and a maximum of 6. Introduction: Labor is a process of opening and thinning the cervix and the fetus descends into the birth canal. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of level of anxiety with the occurrence of prolonged labor (prolongation) at the time of delivery of Primigravida active phase 1 in Aura Syifa Hospital, Kediri. Method: The design of this study was cross-sectional research. An accidental sampling technique with a sample of 33 respondents was taken for this research. The research instrument used questionnaires and partographs. Data analysis using the Coefficient Contigensi test with a significant level of 0.05. Result: The results showed a significant relationship between the Anxiety Level and the occurrence of prolonged labor in the primigravida phase 1 in the Aura Syifa Hospital, Kediri. The closeness of the relationship between the two variables was medium, and the direction of the relationship between the two variables was positive. Discussion: Based on the results of these studies, health workers should teach relaxation techniques such as hypnobirthing during pregnancy to reduce anxiety during labor so it will not cause prolonged labor.

Approximately 90% of causes of maternal deaths occur during delivery due to obstetric complications. One of the complications is prolonged labor caused by inadequate contractions. One method to maintain the uterine contractions is with hypnobirthing. The objective of this research was to determine the effects of hypnobirthing on the level of pain and the progress of labor. This was a true experiment with a posttest only control design. The population was women delivering at BPM at the Cimahi amounting to 30 respondents. The sampling technique used accidental sampling based on research criteria. Data collection method used observation sheets and partograph. The data were then analyzed using bivariate analysis with T-test independent. The results showed that the p-value obtained was 0.001 and 0.038, respectively, meaning that there was a significant relationship between hypnobirthing and decreased pain intensity and between hypnobirthing and the progress of labor.

Objectives: The objective of this research was to analyse the effect of hypnobirthing education given to pregnant women during antenatal period on fear of childbirth. Methods: This is an educational interventional case-control study. A total of 51 pregnant women were studied together during the 12th week of pregnancy. Ethical Committee and related consents were taken. Data was evaluated by using descriptive statistics. Results: The age average of the pregnant in the control group was 28.70 ± 5.42 years while it was 25.74 ± 5.16 years for the case group. Women's gestational week averages were 20.87 weeks for study and 24.10 weeks for control group. In the study, the pre-training scale scores of the cases and control groups were compared with the average level of birth fear of the groups (t = 1.848, p = 0.073). There was a significant difference between pre- and post-hypnotic scale scores in the birth preparation class (t = -5.329, p < 0.001). Before the training; 48% of the case group. Fifty-two percent of the control group is adequately informed about the hypnobirthing problem. Conclusions: It was found that among the pregnant women who had attended birth preparation classes, positive labour perception of the intervention group pregnant women was higher than that of the control group pregnant women who hadn’t had hypnobirthing education and there was a significant difference between them.

Introduction: The main problem of inpartu mother was a labour pain and anxiety. The etiology of labour pain has been determained by dilatation and cervic’s tickness. The objective of this study was to examine the effect of hypnobirthing relaxation on the pain tolerance and anxiety responses in labor.Methods: A pre experimental static group comparison purposive sampling design was used in this study. Population were all pregnant women in age of pregnancies between 38 until 39 weeks at RSUD Wangaya Denpasar. There were 12 respondents who met to the inclusion criteria divided into 6 respondents were given hypnobirthing relaxation intervention and 6 respondents as the control group. The independent variable was hypnobirthing relaxation and dependent variables were tolerance of pain and anxiety responses. Data were collected by using observation and questionnaire, then data were analyzed by using Mann Whitney U Test with significance level p=0.05.Results: The result showed that hypnobirthing relaxation had an effect on the pain tolerance and anxiety responses (p=0.015.Conclusion: It can be concluded that the hypnobirthing relaxation has an effect to increase the pain tolerance and to decrease anxiety responses in active phase of labour. It is recommended to the hospital that have an ante natal care to hypnobirthing relaxation technique. Further studies should measure the effect of hynobirthing relaxation on increasing of β-endorfin in active phase labour.

The aim of this study is to find the influence of hypnobirthing method to decrease level’s of anxiety of early adult women’s confinement. The research was held in Ningsih Midwife’s from March until June 2012. This research used experimental research method which is kind of quasi experiment with one-group pre-posttest design. Analysis obtainded using the Wilcoxon test z = -3.061 , p = 0.002 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that there are significant differences in before and after hypnobirthing. From these results it was found that there are significant difference between groups of measurements before. Based on the results of this analysis, the hypothesis of this study is acceptable. This research’s hypothesis is hypnobirthing method effective to reduce anxiety in the first child labour in early adult mother. The implication of this research is hypnobirthing method can decrease the pregnant women’s level of anxiety towards confinement and easy to be executed. The paradigm of midwifery services has now shifted. Midwifery care is carried out in a combination of conventional and complementary midwifery services, and has become an important part of midwifery practice (Harding & Foureur, 2009). Childbirth in the First Stage caused pain experienced by maternity. One way to reduce pain in labor with complementary therapies include aromatherapy, relaxation therapy, music therapy and massage. The benefits of complementary therapy are that it helps increase relaxation while practicing breathing which is beneficial in labor and helps calm the mother, maintain the strength of the uterus during childbirth, help with breathing, and lower blood pressure. PMB Yuliani's wife is one of the Midwife's Independent Practices in the Sleman area that provides midwifery services and baby spa. Based on data obtained by Trimester III pregnant women still do not know the technique of pain reduction with complementary therapy methods. Objective: To provide training to pregnant women about pain reduction techniques with complementary therapy. Methods: conducted with counseling, lectures and frequently asked questions and practices (complementary therapy training). Community service activities carried out with counseling and training activities for Trimester III pregnant women for 3 days (20-22 August 2019). The activity was carried out for Pregnant Women at PMB Wife Yuliani Ngaglik Sleman D.I Yogyakarta. The participants seemed very relaxed and experienced the hypnobirthing process, because this was the experience of the participants for the first time getting this training. Participants suggest holding routine therapeutic training with this complementary method because it is felt to be very useful and participants feel much calmer, relaxed and comfortable after attending complementary method therapy training.Keywords: Complementary, Pregnant Women

Backround: Childbirth is the process of expulsion from the conception of the uterus through the vagina to the outside world. In some cases, birth is a happy thing but in some cases it is a time of pain, fear, suffering and even death. Pain felt by the mother is an unpleasant sensory or emotional experience due to potential or actual tissue damage (Judha, 2012). One of the non-pharmacological techniques that can reduce pain by using hypnobirthing technique (Kozier, 2011). Target and uotcom: Trimester III Pregnant Women in antenatal care class, aims to improve the knowledge and skills of pregnant women about hypnobirthing techniques for readiness to face the labor process. Method implementation: Implementation: preparation of administration, socialization, implementation of hypnobirthing technique training and evaluation by interviewing the readiness of mothers before and after hypnobirthing technique training . Results : Before hypnobirthing training was performed in 10 third trimester pregnant women, 5 (50%) were ready, 4 (40%) were doubtful, and 1 (10%) was afraid of facing labor. After doing hypnobirthing training, the result is that 5 (50%) are more ready, 4 (40%) ready and 1 (10%) doubtful. Conclusion: Results before and after hypnobirthing technique training can be concluded that there is a change in maternal readiness in the face of labour. Suggestion : It is recommended that the Puskesmas conduct hypnobirthing technical training on regular and scheduled basis for pregnant women, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy .
