Scientific article defines the most important indicators of the economic efficiency of crop production and agricultural production, including productivity. The structure of production of the main types of crop production in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic by categories of farms as a percentage of the total production has been studied. It has been established that the main types of crop production are grain, sunflower seeds, potatoes, and vegetables. The volume of production of the main types of crop production in farms of all categories of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in 2020 increased compared to the previous year. Productivity is the most important indicator reflecting the level of intensification of agricultural production. The quality of the planned economic level largely depends on the correct planning and forecasting of the level of crop yields. An analysis of yields in farms of all categories of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in 2020 made it possible to establish that sunflower has the highest yield growth rate, and vegetable production has significantly decreased. The production of potatoes and vegetables in households in 2020 increased in relation to the volume of agricultural production. The production of grain and vegetables in peasant (farmer) households and individual entrepreneurs in 2020 decreased in relation to the volume of agricultural production. In farms of all categories of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, an additional increase in productivity is predicted due to the introduction of innovative technologies in crop production.

In the situation of a global pandemic, ensuring the uninterrupted, safe, inclusive and sustainable functioning of the tourism industry is advisable to promote the importance of domestic travel and tourism as one of the most important sectors of the Russian economy. One of the types of domestic tourism, depending on the motives and goals of travel, is rural tourism. In the scientific work, a SWOT analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of the rural tourism segment in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic was carried out. It is determined that the Kabardino-Balkar Republic undoubtedly has rich natural, climatic and recreational resources for the development of rural tourism. There are also historical and natural monuments, rich, diverse and unique flora and fauna on the territory of the Republic. However, there are complex problems in the development of rural tourism, which are acute and systemic in nature. The following comprehensive measures are proposed for the preservation and development of rural. Thus, a new program-targeted approach is needed to increase the competitiveness of rural areas of the Republic, focused on meeting the growing demand for high-quality tourist services and allowing to provide conditions for sustainable development of rural tourism. Developed rural tourism is an impressive source of both internal and external investment for Kabardino-Balkaria, contributes to the expansion of agricultural production and the development of rural areas.

The scientific article defines the importance of buckwheat in solving the problem of forming and maintaining the health of the population. One of the functional properties of the dietary fiber (fiber) of buckwheat is its water-holding capacity and cation binding, due to which the digestive tract functions correctly. Buckwheat is an excellent source of vegetable protein. Proteins – buckwheat are well absorbed by the human body. Buckwheat protein contains up to twelve amino acids, which provide energy and are also responsible for increasing muscle mass. The amino acid composition of buckwheat includes tryptophan, threonine and lysine, which are necessary for the human body for metabolic processes, affect the production of hormones and the proper functioning of all organs. Buckwheat contains a large amount of trace elements and minerals. the largest share of trace elements in buckwheat is iron, manganese and zinc, which are well absorbed by the human body. Iron in the human body is contained in blood hemoglobin, a fifth is in the liver, bone marrow and muscles, and the same amount is involved in the synthesis of cellular enzymes. Buckwheat is included in the list of essential foodstuffs. It also includes organic acids – citric, oxalic, maleic, malic, vitamins of group B, PP, P (rutin), and in a better, more balanced ratio than in other cereals. Buckwheat is rich in lipotropic substances that protect liver cells from fatty degeneration, therefore buckwheat is especially indicated for diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, pathology of the hepatobiliary system, atherosclerosis. There is a lot of folic acid in buckwheat (it stimulates hematopoiesis, increases the body's endurance and resistance to many diseases). Buckwheat is a healthy food, has functional properties, contains dietary ingredients, has a beneficial effect on the physiological functions of the human body, maintains and strengthens health, and improves the quality of life.

The scientific article substantiates the trends in the development of agricultural tourism in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. Agritourism is one of the promising areas for the development of the tourism industry. Favorable natural and climatic conditions, fertile nature, unique natural complexes and landscapes, rare red book species of plants and animals, the presence of a variety of cultural and historical resources and dynamically developing agriculture, namely the sustainable development of plant growing, horticulture and fruit growing, sheep and goat breeding, dairy – meat cattle and poultry breeding indicate a high potential for creating a high-quality tourist product in the field of agritourism. The target audience of agritourism is not limited, it can be the lives of young people, wealthy and traveling tourists, as well as experts interested in the history and culture of the region. Revealed the coincidence of trends in tourism development in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic with global trends. The most attractive resources for the development of agritourism in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic have been identified: the Chateau Erken wine farm, the Malkinsky stud farm, the Agro-Kom greenhouse complex, the Kotlyarevskaya dairy farm, the Baksansky Broiler poultry farm, Fruit-Trade ". To form a dynamic and profitable tourism sector, improve the quality and standard of living in the region, as well as the emergence of a new, responsive socio-cultural space, it is necessary to create and develop an efficient and profitable agritourism sector in the KBR based on the resources of agricultural production, rural areas and small towns, as well as the provision of funding federal target program. The development of agritourism as an alternative non-agricultural activity in the countryside can become one of the priorities for the development of rural areas and tourism in Kabardino-Balkaria. The adjustment of the regional agrarian policy will have a positive effect on the involvement of the unique potential natural and climatic resources of the Republic in the economic circulation and its gradual transformation from an insignificant sphere into a profitable industry.

The scientific article presents the results of the analysis of the state of functioning of agricultural enterprises. The natural and economic situation in the region makes it possible to intensively develop the production of marketable products in all sectors of the agro-industrial complex, including fruit and vegetable growing in terms of profitability. Fruit and vegetable products are one of the most important types that are in high demand among the population and consumers outside the region. The Kabardino-Balkarian Republic is the largest producer of fruits and vegetables in the North Caucasus Federal District. Studies have shown that the main factors determining the growth of the gross production of vegetables and berries is the expansion of areas for fruit and berry crops by half by 2010. Based on the research carried out, it is confirmed that the use of intensive technologies in the production of fruits and berries provides a fairly high increase in yield. Due to the fact that fruit and berry crops are perishable food products, it is necessary to bring them to the end consumer in a presentable form as soon as possible. One of the problems often encountered for the further development of fruit and berry production is the incompletely established links between producers and various services that perform the functions of storage, transportation, processing and delivery of products to end consumers. Therefore, farms of all categories should take into account first and foremost when developing policies for managing production activities and forecasting. Increasing the efficiency of production of fruit and berry products and continuous saturation of the consumer market with high-quality fruit and berry products is possible in the context of the introduction of the introduction of intensive methods of agricultural technology, strengthening of state support measures in the context of the application of the results of analysis of the effectiveness of the activities of farms of all categories. An increase in the gross yield of fruits and berries can be achieved as a result of planting orchards using adapted varieties that are resistant to current climatic conditions.

The scientific article proposes a mechanism for ensuring the economic security of an agricultural enterprise, which contributes to the improvement of the financial position of an economic entity in the existing one. The current system of the process of ensuring economic security is a guarantee for the stable development of an economic entity, therefore the developed mechanism is in demand and a necessary condition for the development of an agricultural enterprise. The mechanism for ensuring the economic security of an enterprise is formed through a system of management activities in financial relations by using certain principles, financial levers, tools, methods of legal and information research, which allows achieving the main goals of the enterprise. Among the main components of the mechanism for ensuring economic security, eight main stages of the entire mechanism are proposed. The scope and specificity of the enterprise's business is formed taking into account the property status and financial interests of the enterprise: growth in the market value of the enterprise and maximization of profits; sufficiency of fixed and working capital; availability of the required volume of investment resources; optimization of payments to the budget, etc. ensuring the economic security of the enterprise plays a significant role in its functioning as a whole. The implementation of an effective mechanism for the economic security of an enterprise requires proper attention from managers to the level of integration into the global information space, the economic interests of the company, the level of expenditure of corporate resources and a clear organization of activities. The mechanism of the process of ensuring economic security is based on a systemic combination of certain tools, methods, means and information and analytical process of ensuring, created on the basis of objectively existing principles of the process of ensuring economic security, as well as those that are formulated by the subjects of managing the economic security of an enterprise to achieve and protect it. financial interests.

The article summarizes and systematizes modern high-tech digital tools that allow modeling the behavior of a modern consumer and ensuring the efficiency of the functioning of trade enterprises by increasing sales. It has been established that merchandising has an impressive arsenal of high-tech tools, which include: projection showcase, interactive showcase, virtual shelf, 3D showcase, Aislelabs and Prism Skylabs devices, mobile applications, Fetch Robotics and Lowe's robots, ERP system, Amazon Prime Air system, etc. A projection showcase is a showcase glass (screen) covered with a special film (opaque, translucent or completely transparent) of rear projection. A projector is installed behind the screen, which transmits an image to the screen, which is clearly visible from the outside. An interactive showcase (interactive wall, touch showcase) is a video screen that interacts with a person; most often, they use multitouch technology (touch showcases) and contactless sensor technology (Kinect showcases). A virtual shelf is an LCD panel or video wall, with a Kinect system attached to the back, which “reads” human movements and allows you to control the system from a distance. The 3D showcase is an electronic counter with technology that allows 3D images to be literally projected in the air, combined with motion sensors. Thanks to the digitalization of the economy, both new opportunities and new challenges are emerging in project management at the same time. The article examines the main trends in the digitalization of the economy, which generate fundamental changes in project management. Currently, digital technologies that directly affect the effectiveness of project management have been developed, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, wireless communication technologies, digital production, big data, and blockchain. Thus, the conducted research allows us to conclude that for effective project management in the conditions of digitalization of the economy, it is necessary to correctly determine the most effective and timely tools

The article defines the ability of retailers, the ability of retailers to meet the requirements of consumers in high-quality products and trade services, taking into account local or regional characteristics. A generalization of the existing terminology allows us to understand the competitiveness of retailers as the ability of a retailer to meet the requirements of consumers in high-quality products and trading services taking into account local or regional characteristics. Assessment of the competitiveness level of a retail trade enterprise is carried out in the following sequence: selection of criteria and their assessment; determination of criteria weighting factors; calculation of a generalized criterion. To calculate the generalized competitiveness level of a retail trade enterprise, criteria and their scores are proposed, and their weighting factors are determined. An essential criterion for the competitiveness of retail enterprises is the degree to which they meet their real needs, which determines the different attractiveness of competitors to consumers. A direct comparison of retail enterprises in a series of similar ones (selling similar products or providing the same services) was carried out according to the main parameters (indicators): the atmosphere of the store, the internal environment of the store, the quality of goods and services, the image of the enterprise; financial and economic indicators. A comparative assessment of the competitiveness of retail trade enterprises has made it possible to establish that the Deya hypermarket is the most competitive trading enterprise. Along with this, it is necessary to direct the activities of the hypermarket to improve the financial and economic component and increase the image of the enterprise. One of the ways to increase the financial and economic indicators of a trading company is merchandising.

The presence of unique natural complexes and landscapes in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, creating the prerequisites for the development of the hospitality and tourism industry. A study of the current state and the competitive advantages of the region for the development of the tourism industry in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic have been identified. The study found that on the territory of the Republic there are currently 11 zones of potential recreational specialization with different levels of development, including the Nalchik health resort complex, the Prielbrusye mountain recreation complex, and the Jyly – health-improving complexes Su”, “Aushiger”, “Tambukan”, climbing complex “Bezengi”, excursion-tourist complexes “Chegem waterfalls”, “Blue Lakes”, “Valley of Narzanov”, archaeological and tourist complexes» Upper Balkaria” and “Upper Chegem”. There are 14 different types of mineral springs in the republic: iodine-bromine, nitrogen-thermal, hydrogen sulfide, sodium bicarbonate, and bromine compounds. In the tourist complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in 2019, there is a positive trend in the number of beds, the number of persons accommodated, the number of tourist companies and the number of persons rested, and the number of visits to museums and theaters. Despite the positive dynamics of these indicators, there are negative aspects, characterized by a decrease in the number of children who had a rest in health camps for children, the number of Russian tourists sent by CBD travel agencies in the Russian Federation and in foreign tours, an imbalance between supply and demand (demand exceeds supply). The obtained results reveal an understanding of specific activities that ensure the economic growth of the tourism industry and the competitive advantages of the region. The results of the study can be applied in developing trends in the development of the tourism industry in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, in educational processes and in the tourism sector.
