To prevail over the trade-offs among the three major parameters, i.e., data transparency, robustness, and hiding capacity, is an enduring crisis in the domain of digital watermarking. In this paper, a new spatial image watermarking technique has been developed based on a model shopping pattern that could be followed at multi-stores to defy the spread-out of any contagious or airborne disease. This idea got motivated by the recent pandemic situation. Akin to maintaining distance among people on a shopping floor to avoid gathering, this proposed watermarking scheme embeds copyright information into the cover image maintaining certain distances to reduce visual distortion as well as to improve imperceptibility. Besides, unlike the conventional spatial domain-based watermarking algorithm, this proposed work tries to shift the embedding bit location in cover pixels towards the MSB, instead of LSB, to enhance robustness. The proficiency of this proposed method has been studied, and the innovation associated with this scheme has been found in improving robustness without affecting the visual quality, which has also been evaluated against some other existing relevant methodologies. - Abstract
The Republic of China period was the most intense and typical period in the history of Chinese clothing development with the westward trend spreading and the east-west blending. From 1912 to 1949 traditional Chinese clothing and modern Western clothing underwent multidimensional influences and integration. This article focuses on studying the changes that occurred in Chinese men's formal attire during this period believing that this period was the starting point of westernization of Chinese men's formal attire and also foreshadowing the beginning of modernization of short clothing fashion. This article analyzes the appearance and image of men's formal attire in the Republic of China. The study focuses on the form of men's formal attire stipulated in the three promulgation laws and regulations of the Republic of China from 1912 to 1936. The research draws on the cognitive psychological model and analyzes the reception recognition and translation of the visual image and clothing vocabulary of men's formal attire in the Republic of China. Using this model for reference this paper analyzes the construction process of the image and significance of the men's dress in the Republic of China especially the changes of aesthetic orientation thinking awareness lifestyle and values reflected in this process. At the same time this article also uses methods such as literature research comparative analysis and cross-research to compare the localization of Japanese men's clothing in the process of Westernization from the perspective of male-specific gender culture reflecting the differences between the two countries in terms of attitudes towards Western culture social status political systems reform ideas and many other aspects. It is found that under the general trend of the westward influence of modern China the three changes in men's dress code in the Republic of China reflected the internal patterns formed by intellectuals'thinking and concepts in the process of understanding Western civilization and Chinese tradition. Through cognitive models men's dress code and masculinity were taken as a sample to reflect the dual attributes of men's image in the Republic of China which took into account both culture and quality and gave birth to a prototype of male aesthetic that met the needs of the social situation at that time. This aesthetic sample not only has the highest ideal of masculinity and masculine image in traditional Chinese culture that gentleness and courteousness make a gentleman but also takes into account the requirements of Western modernist concepts and industrial society for masculinity and masculine image providing a style and template for modern Chinese men's clothing image. This article contributes to cultural geography's continued interest in exploring how images and photographic practices have shaped representations and engagements with architectural space. Using the Robin Hood Gardens Estate – a Brutalist social housing estate in East London as an example, it interrogates how visual strategies associated with the grid, the interruption and the ruin shape different narratives and representations of Brutalist architecture. At the same time, it extends discussions within cultural geography which surround Brutalism and the role that representations play in how the built landscape is mediated, politicised and encountered through different image making strategies, highlighting the importance of the 'image' to Brutalism as a style. It concludes by asserting the value of exploring how buildings are represented and how different photographic and image making practices continue to mediate our engagement with the built landscape and inform wider politics associated with specific architectural styles. Attention-seeking personal profiles on social media increasingly define successful political communication. But Angela Merkel, during her 16-year chancellorship, has come to stand for the opposite. The first woman to ever fill the office, she built a reputation for rational, evidence-based decision-making and predictable performances. Based on a visual discourse analysis of Angela Merkel's official Instagram account, this article shows how her authenticity was strategically built through performances of ordinariness and consistency, without relying on more emotional aspects of presentation such as immediacy and intimacy. Instead of shaping her online persona according to the traditions and style of Instagram, Merkel attempted to bend Instagram to host her unique persona. Instead of "instagramizing" Merkel, she "merkelized" Instagram. This finding complicates understandings of social media and contemporary politics as being focused on relatability, spectacle, and drama. It also questions the close conceptual connection of authenticity and intimate, emotional representations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The amount of attention paid to in-situ monitoring in Additive Manufacturing (AM) has significantly increased over the last few years, paving the way to a paradigm shift for quality monitoring and control via big data analysis of signals, images, and videos. In-situ quality monitoring represents an opportunity for waste reduction and first-time-right production via inline detection of process flaws, which allows early identification of scraps and the possibility of correcting actions for first-time-right production. This article presents a solution for in-situ monitoring of images taken layerwise in material extrusion AM. Compared with the existing solutions, mainly focusing on monitoring the shape deviation observed at each layer with respect to the nominal shape, this article focuses on monitoring the internal surface texture with the aim of detecting over- and under-extrusion flaws. Inspired by an approach reported in the literature that was developed for textile image monitoring, we propose a solution for in-situ monitoring of textured surfaces which is based on combining Random Forests with clustering to automatically identify defective locations layerwise. A real case study based on Fused Filament Fabrication is used to compare the performance of the novel proposed solution with the original one and identify an appropriate direction for future research. Sketch-based cross-domain visual data retrieval is the process of searching for images or 3D models using sketches as input. Achieving feature alignment is a significantly challenging task due to the high heterogeneity of cross-domain data. However, the alignment process faces significant challenges, such as domain gap, semantic gap, and knowledge gap. The existing methods adopt different ideas for sketch-based image and 3D shape retrieval tasks, one is domain alignment, and the other is semantic alignment. Technically, both tasks verify the accuracy of extracted features. Hence, we propose a method based on the global feature correlation and the feature similarity for multiple sketch-based cross-domain retrieval tasks. Specifically, the data from various modalities are fed into separate feature extractors to generate original features. Then, these features are projected to the shared subspace. Finally, domain consistency learning, semantic consistency learning, feature correlation learning and feature similarity learning are performed jointly to make the projected features modality-invariance. We evaluate our method on multiple benchmark datasets. Where the MAP in Sketchy, TU-Berlin, SHREC 2013 and SHREC 2014 are 0.466, 0.473, 0.860 and 0.816. The extensive experimental results demonstrate the superiority and generalization of the proposed method, compared to the state-of-the-art approaches. The in-depth analyses of various design choices are also provided to gain insight into the effectiveness of the proposed method. The outcomes of this research contribute to advancing the field of sketch-based cross-domain visual data retrieval and are expected to be applied to a variety of applications that require efficient retrieval of cross-domain domain data. This study investigates, within the framework of Critical Metaphor Analysis, how The New York Times (NYT) has been metaphorically formulating China as an "other" from 1949 to 2020. Metaphors were identified with reference to Pragglejaz Group's (2007) Metaphor Identification Procedure. WAR and GAME were detected as dominant concepts, and LIQUID, DISEASE, ANIMAL, MACHINE, and OBSTACLE secondary imagery. It is found that the newspaper's journalistic values in foreign news reporting and judging criteria toward political leadership have remained radically unchanged. Having been influenced by changes in China-U.S. relations and America's domestic socio-political ideals, the NYT has been othering China from the civilized world, which tends to be particularly prominent when China's performance is short of the values and norms preached by the US, and became inconspicuous during China-U.S. alliance. Running counter to its commitment to "truth," the newspaper employed discursive strategies to balance between America's moral self-identity and its China policy, and vindicate behaviors identical to those it has been criticizing China for. - Abstract
The pursuit of sustainable development has become a global priority, with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) serving as a comprehensive framework for addressing various social, economic, and environmental challenges. Employing the stimulus–organization–response (SOR) model, this study examines the impact of customer's perceptions of the firm's compliance with the SDGs on customers' perceptions and loyalty through the mediation roles of image, trust, and reputation in the customer's evaluation of the firm in the banking sector in Turkey. To achieve these objectives, a quantitative research approach was used, and 455 valid responses were collected from retail banking customers through an online survey. Data from the study were statistically analyzed using partial least-squares–structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal significant positive relationships between SDG implementation and customers' perceptions of banking institutions' image, trust, and reputation. Furthermore, favorable image, trust, and favorable reputation are found to positively influence customer loyalty in the banking sector. The mediation analyses confirm that each of the mediating variables partially mediates the relationships between SDG implementation and customer loyalty, underscoring the significance of these intermediate variables in shaping customers' loyalty behaviors. This research contributes to both theoretical and practical domains by providing insights into the role of SDG implementation in enhancing customer perceptions and loyalty in the banking sector. Managerial implications are discussed, and recommendations are provided for banking institutions seeking to leverage the SDGs to strengthen customer relationships and achieve sustainable growth. This research aims to analyze the relationship between cocoa-based tourist experiences and tourists’ perceptions of image, satisfaction and loyalty regarding a cultural destination. A quantitative approach was used, with data obtained via surveys distributed to tourists participating in a cocoa-based culinary experience in the Dominican Republic. The survey was designed with items adapted from previous research. The theoretical model of the study was examined using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The results indicate that cocoa-based culinary experiences are closely linked to tourists’ cognitive and affective perceptions of the destination, improving overall satisfaction and contributing to loyalty intentions. Destination image and destination satisfaction mediate the relationship between cocoa-based culinary experiences and tourist loyalty, suggesting that immersive dining experiences are critical in shaping destination perception and visitor engagement. This research offers novel contributions to gastronomic tourism because it focuses on cocoa as a central element of gastronomic tourism, in addition to examining its effects on destination marketing outcomes. It is one of the first studies to analyze gastronomic tourism from the cocoa perspective. The results expand the existing literature on gastronomic tourism, as the experiential aspects of cocoa consumption with regard to tourist behavior and destination loyalty are integrated. Background: To analyze the characteristics of an unnamed interlaminar ligaments(ILL) through magnetic resonance image (MRI), endoscopy and pathological examination. Method: A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of patients who underwent posterior endoscopic surgery for lumbar disc herniation or lumbar spinal stenosis from January 2021 to February 2022 at our medical center. The height, width and cross-sectional thickness of the ligament was analyzed using T2 weighted MRI. Meanwhile, the morphological and pathological characteristics were also compared with those of the ligamentum flavum to highlight the differences between above mentioned ligaments. Result: Forty-three patients were included in this study, including 27 males and 16 females, with an average age of 46.6 ± 12.1y. There were 20 cases of lumbar disc herniation and 23 cases of lumbar spinal stenosis. The width, length, thickness of the ILL, the thickness of LF and surgical time in the lumbar disc group were 17.7 ± 3.5 mm, 4.3 ± 1.3 mm, 18.3 ± 3.5 mm, 5.3 ± 1.9 mm, 53.2 ± 14.5 min, respectively. In the lumbar spinal stenosis group, the corresponding parameters were 16.0 ± 3.1 mm, 4.1 ± 1.6 mm, 17.6 ± 4.8 mm, 6.3 ± 0.8 mm, 61.8 ± 12.4 min, respectively. The intergroup difference in thickness of the ligamentum flavum was statistically significant (P = 0.02). The difference in surgical time was also established(P = 0.04). Endoscopic differences were identified as to the location of the anchor points and appearances among the two ligaments. Significant differences in the density and direction of fibrous structures were also observed under biopsy. Under endoscopy, significant difference as to the grade of ILL thickness was established when compared regarding disease spectrum (P = 0.09.) Conclusion: The interlaminar ligament is a structure that has not yet been officially named, which has significant structural differences from those of the ligamentum flavum. For posterior endoscopic procedure, its clinical significance lies in its ability to serve as the endpoint of soft tissue channel establishment. The thickness of the ligamentum flavum in MRI and the thickness of ILL under endoscopy vary according to the disease spectrum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This article delves into the development of tourism in Papua New Guinea during the decolonization era from 1960 to the 1970s. It argues that divergent theories and strategies emerged regarding the promotion of tourism. One perspective, championed by the Australian colonizers, viewed the exotic aspects of the Indigenous savage culture as the primary attraction for tourists. On the contrary, another faction led by nationalist Papuans and New Guineans advocated for a focus on respect and dignity of the Indigenous people, aligning with the nation’s journey towards self-governance and eventual independence. This article highlights the significance of promoting a positive image and upholding respect, particularly in a nation grappling with perceptions of ‘otherness’ and a legacy of colonialism. As Papua New Guinea progressed towards self-rule and sovereignty, tourism development became intertwined with broader national development objectives that prioritized economic empowerment and the welfare of its citizens over the pursuit of a competitive destination in the Pacific. - Abstract
Traditional image captioning methods do not generate explanatory description texts due to the lack of a priori knowledge of the real world, while the accuracy of the generated description texts is not high in some specialized fields. To address these problems, the military news image set captioning task is proposed, and a military news image set dataset is also constructed. The task has two key challenges: the description information is derived from the whole image set and the corresponding news articles; the semantics learned by the model is not sufficient. A military news image set captioning method based on image and text relevance and context guidance (ITRCG) is further proposed. Based on ITRCG, cross-modal information interaction is realized, the model is guided to learn more complete semantics, and named entity generation is assisted by label cleaning. Experimental validation is conducted on the constructed military news image set dataset, and the results show that ITRCG can effectively improve the quality of the description text and achieve improvements in all evaluation metrics. While the recent theatrical rerelease of films has managed to bring large crowds back to the theaters, it is yet to be seen if rereleased films stimulate an increase in domestic tourist arrivals. In this regard, this study investigates the relationship between the viewers' impression of the film in question and their behavioral intentions. The role of a film's cognitive and affective images in shaping the viewers' willingness to travel is explored through direct and indirect effects of companion preference and willingness to pay. We use a sample of undergraduate and graduate students to test our hypotheses based on scales adapted from various studies. A total of 206 responses were collected and analyzed through PLS‐SEM. Results show a significant relationship between viewers' cognitive impression of the film, their willingness to pay, and willingness to travel. While films??? affective image did not affect viewers' behavioral intentions, it significantly affected their preference for having a companion. Our findings allow us to extend the current definitions of film tourism, which is limited to the idea of visiting destinations portrayed in the films. We then discuss how theatrical rereleases can assist destinations in elongating tourist stay and increase tourist arrivals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A reversible image authentication method based on wavelet-domain prediction error histogram translation is proposed. First, the image to be authenticated performs a Haar wavelet transform. Second, the low-frequency and high-frequency subbands obtained from the transform are separately partitioned into blocks, and an authentication code is generated based on the coefficient values and locations of these blocks. Then, the authentication code is embedded into the blocks using the improved pixel value ordering (IPVO) method, and the image containing the authentication information is reconstructed using the Haar wavelet inverse transform. In the authentication stage, the tampering detection function is realized by extracting the authentication code and generating the authentication code. If the image is not tampered with, the original image can be recovered losslessly. Experimental results show that the method provides more accurate detection results and ensures a certain level of image quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Images and text have become essential parts of the multimodal machine learning (MMML) framework in today's world because data are always available, and technological breakthroughs bring disparate forms together, and while text adds semantic richness and narrative to images, images capture visual subtleties and emotions. Together, these two media improve knowledge beyond what would be possible with just one revolutionary application. This paper investigates feature extraction and advancement from text and image data using pre-trained models in MMML. It offers a thorough analysis of fusion architectures, outlining text and image data integration and evaluating their overall advantages and effects. Furthermore, it draws attention to the shortcomings and difficulties that MMML currently faces and guides areas that need more research and development. We have gathered 341 research articles from five digital library databases to accomplish this. Following a thorough assessment procedure, we have 88 research papers that enable us to evaluate MMML in detail. Our findings demonstrate that pre-trained models, such as BERT for text and ResNet for images, are predominantly employed for feature extraction due to their robust performance in diverse applications. Fusion techniques, ranging from simple concatenation to advanced attention mechanisms, are extensively adopted to enhance the representation of multimodal data. Despite these advancements, MMML models face significant challenges, including handling noisy data, optimizing dataset size, and ensuring robustness against adversarial attacks. Our findings highlight the necessity for further research to address these challenges, particularly in developing methods to improve the robustness of MMML models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Online social networks (OSNs) are fertile ground for information sharing and public relationships. However, the uncontrolled dissemination of information poses a significant risk of the inadvertent disclosure of sensitive information. This poses a notable challenge to the information security of many organizations. Improving organizations' ability to automatically identify data leaked within image-based content requires specialized techniques. In contrast to traditional vision-based tasks, detecting data leaked within images presents a unique challenge due to the context-dependent nature and sparsity of the target objects, as well as the possibility that these objects may appear in an image inadvertently as background or small elements rather than as the central focus of the image. In this paper, we investigated the ability of multiple state-of-the-art deep learning methods to detect censored objects in an image. We conducted a case study utilizing Instagram images published by members of a large organization. Six types of objects that were not intended for public exposure were detected with an average accuracy of 0.9454 and an average macro F1-score of 0.658. A further analysis of relevant OSN images revealed that many contained confidential information, exposing the organization and its members to security risks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study critically examines the public's perception of Florence Nightingale's legacy through a critical discourse analysis (CDA) of digital media, specifically podcasts and YouTube. Nightingale, who is often remembered as "The Lady with the Lamp", holds a complex identity within modern narratives that is celebrated for her pioneering contributions to nursing and public health, even if there are some disagreements about her, given the colonialist setting that may have shaped some of her opinions and decisions. This research employed CDA to analyze 25 podcasts and 18 YouTube videos, which were systematically included according to a priori inclusion criteria. The study synthesized how these media products portray Nightingale and, by extension, shape public discourse about the nursing profession. The findings reveal five thematic representations of Nightingale: as a legendary figure, a modern feminist, a dedicated statistician, a pioneer in public health, and a pivotal STEM contributor. These portrayals challenge traditional nursing stereotypes by emphasizing Nightingale's role as a rigorous scientist and reformer, suggesting broader perceptions of nurses that encompass leadership, analytical skills, and strategic thinking. The study supports the hypothesis that digital narratives significantly influence the public's understanding and appreciation of nursing, advocating for a more nuanced professional identity that integrates traditional caregiving roles with critical and analytical capabilities. Aims: This study aimed to analyse the evolution of the public image of nursing in the context of the constantly developing nursing profession. Design: The Rodger's evolving concept analysis was applied. Methods: PubMed, CINAHL, Web of Science, Scopus, and ProQuest databases were searched for articles published between 1 January 2001, and 30 April 2022, using the search terms; "NURS * AND image". The selected literature was screened using Rodgers' evolutionary method to explore the attributes, antecedents and consequences of the concept. Results: The defining attributes were identified as nursing (nursing as the collective object), public (public as the collective subject) and information (the medium of interaction between the collective subject and the collective object). Nursing elements were classified into intrinsic elements (professional spirit, professional knowledge and professional skills) and extrinsic (appearance, language and behaviour) elements. Public elements were further subcategorized into public categories (internal organizational public and external organizational public) and public perceptions (cognition, emotion and behavioural intention). The information elements are mainly classified as information generation, dissemination, identification, processing and judgement. The antecedents and consequences of the public perception of nursing were also identified. Conclusions: The public image of nursing is dynamic and has evolved over time. Its dynamism and malleability imply that the traditional public image of nursing can be improved through targeted interventions in nursing practice, management and education. Implications for the Profession: Identifying the antecedents and consequences associated with the public image of nursing will help the healthcare organizations adopt effective strategies to alleviate the shortage of the nursing workforce and promote the development of the nursing profession. - Abstract
Let X = { X (t) , t ∈ R N } be a centered space-time anisotropic Gaussian random field in R d with stationary increments, where the components X i (i = 1 , ... , d) are independent but distributed differently. Under certain conditions, we not only give the Hausdorff dimension of the graph sets of X in the asymmetric metric in the recurrent case, but also determine the exact Hausdorff measure functions of the graph sets of X in the transient and recurrent cases, respectively. Moreover, we establish a uniform Hausdorff dimension result for the image sets of X. Our results extend the corresponding results on fractional Brownian motion and space or time anisotropic Gaussian random fields. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

IMAGE databases ,IMAGE recognition (Computer vision) ,VECTOR fields ,DATABASES ,DATABASE management software - Abstract
The main objective of this paper is to present a repository of image databases whose features are augmented with embedded vector field (VF) features. The repository is designed to provide the user with image databases that enhance machine learning (ML) classification. Also, six VFs are provided, and the user can embed them into her/his own image database with the help of software named ELPAC. Three of the VFs generate real-shaped singular points (SPs): springing, sinking, and saddle. The other three VFs generate seven kinds of SPs, which include the real-shaped SPs and four complex-shaped SPs: repelling and attracting (out and in) spirals and clockwise and counterclockwise orbits (centers). Using the repository, this work defines the locations of the SPs according to the image objects and the mappings between the SPs' shapes if separate VFs are embedded into the same image. Next, this paper produces recommendations for the user on how to select the most appropriate VF to be embedded in an image database so that the augmented SP shapes enhance ML classification. Examples of images with embedded VFs are shown in the text to illustrate, support, and validate the theoretical conclusions. Thus, the contributions of this paper are the derivation of the SP locations in an image; mappings between the SPs of different VFs; and the definition of an imprint of an image and an image database in a VF. The advantage of classifying an image database with an embedded VF is that the new database enhances and improves the ML classification statistics, which motivates the design of the repository so that it contains image features augmented with VF features. IMAGE processing , *IMAGE intensifiers , *IMAGE transmission , *TRAFFIC cameras , *PERCEIVED quality - Abstract
The present study deals with image enhancement, which is a very common problem in image processing. This issue has been addressed in multiple works with different methods, most with the sole purpose of improving the perceived quality. Our goal is to propose an approach with a strong physical justification that can model the human visual system. This is why the Logarithmic Image Processing (LIP) framework was chosen. Within this model, initially dedicated to images acquired in transmission, it is possible to introduce the novel concept of negative grey levels, interpreted as light intensifiers. Such an approach permits the extension of the dynamic range of a low-light image to the full grey scale in "real-time", which means at camera speed. In addition, this method is easily generalizable to colour images and is reversible, i.e., bijective in the mathematical sense, and can be applied to images acquired in reflection thanks to the consistency of the LIP framework with human vision. Various application examples are presented, as well as prospects for extending this work. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Prostate cancer is the most frequent cancer among men and radiotherapy hypofractionation regimens have become standard treatments for the localized stages, but the absence of increased risk of acute and late genitourinary or gastrointestinal toxicity of the dose escalation still must be demonstrated. The study population included all patients with localized prostatic adenocarcinoma treated at the institut Curie from February 2016 to March 2018 by external radiation delivered by a linear accelerator using an image-guided conformal intensity modulation technique at a total dose of 75 Gy in 30 fractions of 2.5 Gy in the planning target volume that included the prostate and the proximal seminal vesicles, and could be paired with a prophylactic lymph node radiotherapy at 46 Gy in 23 fractions with simultaneous integrated boost. A total of 166 patients were included. Among them, 68.6% were unfavourable intermediate or (very) high risk. The median age and follow-up were 71.4 years and 3.96 years. One hundred and forty-nine patients received prophylactic lymph node radiotherapy (89.8%). One hundred and thirty-one patients received hormonotherapy (78.9%). Genito-urinary toxicity events of grades 2 or above during radiotherapy, at 6 months, 1 year and 5 years were respectively 36.7%, 8.8%, 3.1% and 4.7%. Two patients had late grade 4 toxicity at 5 years (1.6%). Grade 2 gastrointestinal toxicity events during radiotherapy, 6 months, 1 year and 5 years were respectively 15.1%, 1.9%, 14.6% and 9.3%. Of these, eight patients had grade 3 toxicity (6.2%). There was no grade 4 toxicity. Analyses did not reveal any predictive factor for toxicity. The 5-year overall, progression-free, and specific survival rates were respectively 82.4%, 85.7%, and 93.3%. Serum prostate specific antigen concentration and cardiovascular risk factors were found to be predictive factors of deterioration in overall survival (P = 0.0028 for both). External radiotherapy for localized prostatic cancer with our moderately hypofractionated dose escalation regimen is well tolerated. In the absence of increased late toxicity, the analysis of the modes of long-term relapses will be interesting to determine the benefit of this dose escalation on local and distant relapses. ARTIFICIAL neural networks , *FEEDFORWARD neural networks , *OPTIMIZATION algorithms , *DRILLING muds , *COMPUTATIONAL intelligence - Abstract
Designing drilling mud rheology is a complex task, particularly when it comes to preventing filter cakes from obstructing formation pores and making sure they can be easily decomposed using breakers. Incorporating both multiphysics and data-driven numerical simulations into the design of mud rheology experiments creates an additional challenge due to their symmetrical integration. In this computational intelligence study, we introduced numerical validation techniques using 498 available datasets from mud rheology and images from filter cakes. The goal was to symmetrically predict flow, maximize filtration volume, monitor void spaces, and evaluate formation damage occurrences. A neural-objective and image optimization approach to drilling mud rheology automation was employed using an artificial neural network feedforward (ANN-FF) function, a non-ANN-FF function, an image processing tool, and an objective optimization tool. These methods utilized the Google TensorFlow Sequential API-DNN architecture, MATLAB-nftool, the MATLAB-image processing tool, and a single-objective optimization algorithm. However, the analysis emanating from the ANN-FF and non-ANN-FF (with neurons of 10, 12, and 18) indicated that, unlike non-ANN-FF, ANN-FF obtained the highest correlation coefficient of 0.96–0.99. Also, the analysis of SBM and OBM image processing revealed a total void area of 1790 M µm2 and 1739 M µm2, respectively. Both SBM and OBM exhibited notable porosity and permeability that contributed to the enhancement of the flow index. Nonetheless, this study did reveal that the experimental-informed single objective analysis impeded the filtration volume; hence, it demonstrated potential formation damage. It is, therefore, consistent to note that automating flow predictions from mud rheology and filter cakes present an alternative intelligence method for non-programmers to optimize drilling productive time. Flutter has become popular for providing a uniform development environment for user interfaces (UIs) on smart phones, web browsers, and desktop applications. We have developed the Flutter programming learning assistant system (FPLAS) to assist its novice students' self-study. We implemented the Docker-based Flutter environment with Visual Studio Code and three introductory exercise projects. However, the correctness of students' answers is manually checked, although automatic checking is necessary to reduce teachers' workload and provide quick responses to students. This paper presents an image-based user interface (UI) testing method to automate UI testing by the answer code using the Flask framework. This method produces the UI image by running the answer code and compares it with the image made by the model code for the assignment using ORB and SIFT algorithms in the OpenCV library. One notable aspect is the necessity to capture multiple UI screenshots through page transitions by user input actions for the accurate detection of changes in UI elements. For evaluations, we assigned five Flutter exercise projects to fourth-year bachelor and first-year master engineering students at Okayama University, Japan, and applied the proposed method to their answers. The results confirm the effectiveness of the proposal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research explored visitor satisfaction and loyalty, vital to securing the economic sustainability of parks, in the proposed Park Visitor ECSI model. Self-administered surveys with online consumer panels were adopted for the data collection. The research model was tested with PLS-SEM in parks across Australia (N = 430), USA (N = 348) and China (N = 319). In the main, the findings suggested that the perceived image of park management shaped visitor expectations, which formed their perceptions of quality and value that impacted their satisfaction and willingness to recommend. This highlights theoretical and methodological potential for the applicability of the Park Visitor ECSI model and PLS-SEM across other countries and park types. The findings pragmatically identify the success factors for generating visitation through word-of-mouth and highlight five key areas that address effective park management, critical to self-financing and securing the economic future for parks. - Abstract
As governments in various countries and regions issue tourism-friendly policies in the post-pandemic period, the voices for tourism consumption recovery and innovative transformation have attracted great attention. Many scholars, experts and industry professionals in the field of festivals are actively exploring efficient solutions for festival marketing and sustainability. It is worth rethinking tourists' consumption psychology and perceived image regarding exiting festival products as well as the antecedents that affect festival loyalty. The Qingdao International Beer Festival, as one of the most influential festivals in China, was selected as the research case for this study. The main goal of this study was to investigate festival consumption promotion mechanisms by proposing a conceptual framework in which the associations between destination familiarity, product familiarity and loyal intentions (re-patronage and recommendation) were examined with mediators of overall festival image, perceived value and overall satisfaction. The moderating role of visitor involvement in the proposed framework was also adequately demonstrated. Moreover, the causal recipes for loyalty intentions have also been identified by employing a fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) and a necessary condition analysis (NCA). The research findings are expected to provide a significant reference for the recovery and improvement in competitiveness of the entire festival industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the modern period, tourism is one of the most important global industries. It often appears to guarantee contact with nature, claims to protect habitats and respect principles of ecological sustainability. This paper explores Sicilian tourism and its representation in publicitary material from an ecolinguistic perspective. It asks what kind of imaginary of nature in modern Sicily can be viewed through such shots of the natural world, how these imaginaries might reflect current ecosophy, and how compatible they might be with ecological principles. It applies the heuristic notion of 'imaginary', current in social sciences such as sociology, psychology, and anthropology, to the context of ecolinguistic enquiry, asks how our ideas of a place and its ecosystems may be socially or culturally determined, and how these factors play into a mindset which may, or may not, be ecologically sensitive. The findings suggest that tourism photographs tend to present place images that conform to strict generic criteria, responding to public expectations and pragmatic, commercial requirements. They neither present reliable images of Sicily, nor contribute to the propagation of a specific sense of place, but rather conform to a generic pattern that tends to homogenize tourist destinations at a global level. Residential compounds are not limited to residential activity only, but other human activities exist through the work of the proper landscape design for the spaces between the buildings, and some of them link the buildings and those activities. The landscape design varies from one residential compound to another depending on the nature of the surrounding environment, the type of user, the required activity, and the general character of the area. This paper aims to decide and clear monitoring of the set of needs and humanity within the residential communities through a toolset of a check list from earlier projects implemented and currently used at the international and local levels. Three approaches (theoretical, analytical, and applied) were implemented. First, the components affecting the landscape add to reviewing the principles of landscape design. Some examples of landscape design in residential communities in (Dubai) were analyzed using the comparative analytical approach. Finally, the applied approach used on the landscape design of existing residential communities in Cairo to measure the success of their designs and that they are temporally compatible (suitable for all ages and groups), spatially (best use of the entire space), and sustainable (preserving the environment and using appropriate environmental elements) To get the best landscape image in residential compounds.

Objectives The aim of the article is to draw attention to the insufficient protection of a child’s privacy when parents share information, photos or videos with their child on the Internet. Material and methods The work was based on the analysis of literature in the field of sociology and law regarding the phenomenon of sharenting, including its cause and the threats it carries. The work analyzed legal regulation regarding the scope of parental interference in the personal rights of the child. Results The considerations carried out lead to the conclusion that the existing legal regulations do not sufficiently protect the child against violation of personal rights by parents, in particular in the context of parents sharing photos or videos of the child on social networks. Conclusions It was proposed to supplement the regulations of the Family and Guardianship Code with a clear indication that the obligation of the parent or guardian, as part of the exercise of parental authority, is also to protect the privacy and image of the child.
