Wider access to therapeutic care is one of the biggest challenges in mental health treatment. Due to institutional barriers, some people seeking mental health support have turned to large language models (LLMs) for personalized therapy, even though these models are largely unsanctioned and untested. We investigate the potential and limitations of using LLMs as providers of evidence-based therapy by using mixed methods clinical metrics. Using HELPERT, a prompt run on a large language model using the same process and training as a comparative group of peer counselors, we replicated publicly accessible mental health conversations rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to compare session dynamics and counselor's CBT-based behaviors between original peer support sessions and their reconstructed HELPERT sessions. Two licensed, CBT-trained clinical psychologists evaluated the sessions using the Cognitive Therapy Rating Scale and provided qualitative feedback. Our findings show that the peer sessions are characterized by empathy, small talk, therapeutic alliance, and shared experiences but often exhibit therapist drift. Conversely, HELPERT reconstructed sessions exhibit minimal therapist drift and higher adherence to CBT methods but display a lack of collaboration, empathy, and cultural understanding. Through CTRS ratings and psychologists' feedback, we highlight the importance of human-AI collaboration for scalable mental health. Our work outlines the ethical implication of imparting human-like subjective qualities to LLMs in therapeutic settings, particularly the risk of deceptive empathy, which may lead to unrealistic patient expectations and potential harm.

Hyperentangled states are highly efficient and resource economical. This is because they enhance the quantum information encoding capabilities due to the correlated engagement of more than one degree of freedom of the same quantum entity while keeping the physical resources at their minimum. Therefore, initially the photonic hyperentangled states have been explored extensively but the generation and respective manipulation of the atomic counterpart states are still limited to only few proposals. In this work, we propose a new and feasible scheme to engineer the atomic hyperentangled cluster and ring graph states invoking cavity QED technique for applicative relevance to quantum biology and quantum communications utilizing the complex quantum networks. These states are engineered using both external quantized momenta states and energy levels of neutral atoms under off-resonant and resonant Atomic Bragg Diffraction (ABD) technique. The study of dynamical capacity and potential efficiency have certainly enhanced the range of usefulness of these states. In order to assess the operational behavior of such states when subjected to a realistic noise environment has also been simulated, demonstrating long enough sustainability of the proposed states. An important route of engineering topological states and excitations is to combine superconductors (SC) with the quantum Hall (QH) effect, and over the past decade, significant progress has been made in this direction. While typical measurements of these states focus on electronic properties, little attention has been paid to the accompanying thermal responses. Here, we examine the thermal properties of the interface between a type-II superconducting electrodes and graphene in the QH regime. We use the thermal noise measurement to probe the local electron temperature of the biased interface. Surprisingly, the measured temperature raise indicates that the superconductor provides a significant thermal conductivity, which is linear in temperature. This suggests electronic heat transport and may be unexpected, because the number of the quasiparticles in the superconductor should be exponentially suppressed. Recent advancements in technology have led to the emergence of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), which seamlessly integrate the cyber and physical domains in various sectors such as agriculture, autonomous systems, and healthcare. This integration presents opportunities for enhanced efficiency and automation through the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). However, the complexity of CPS brings forth challenges related to transparency, bias, and trust in AI-enabled decision-making processes. This research explores the significance of AI and ML in enabling CPS in these domains and addresses the challenges associated with interpreting and trusting AI systems within CPS. Specifically, the role of explainable AI (XAI) in enhancing trustworthiness and reliability in AI-enabled decision-making processes is discussed. Containerization in a multi-cloud environment facilitates workload portability and optimized resource utilization. Containerization in multi-cloud environments has received significant attention in recent years both from academic research and industrial development perspectives. However, there exists no effort to systematically investigate the state of research on this topic. The aim of this research is to systematically identify and categorize the multiple aspects of container utilization in multi-cloud environment. We conduct the Systematic Mapping Study (SMS) on the literature published between January 2013 and March 2023. Eighty-six studies were finally selected and the key results are: (1) Four leading themes on cloud computing and network systems research were identified: 'Scalability and High Availability', 'Performance and Optimization', 'Security and Privacy', and 'Multi-Cloud Container Monitoring and Adaptation'. (2) Seventy-four patterns and strategies for containerization in multi-cloud environment were classified across 10 subcategories and 4 categories. (3) Ten quality attributes considered were identified with 47 associated tactics. (4) Four distinct frameworks were introduced based on the analysis of identified challenges and solutions: a security challenge-solution framework, an automation challenge-solution framework, a deployment challenge-solution framework, and a monitoring challenge-solution framework. The future wireless communication applications demand seamless connectivity, higher throughput, and low latency, for which the millimeter-wave (mmWave) band is considered a potential technology. Nevertheless, line-of-sight (LoS) is often mandatory for mmWave band communication, and it renders these waves sensitive to sudden changes in the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the LoS link for a reliable connection. One such technique to maintain LoS is using proactive handover (HO). However, proactive HO is challenging, requiring continuous information about the surrounding wireless network to anticipate potential blockage. This paper presents a proactive blockage prediction mechanism where an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is used as the base station for HO. The proposed scheme uses computer vision (CV) to obtain potential blocking objects, user speed, and location. To assess the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, the system is evaluated using a publicly available dataset for blockage prediction. The study integrates scenarios from Vision-based Wireless (ViWi) and UAV channel modeling, generating wireless data samples relevant to UAVs. The antenna modeling on the UAV end incorporates a polarization-matched scenario to optimize signal reception. The results demonstrate that UAV-assisted Handover not only ensures seamless connectivity but also enhances overall network performance by 20%. This research contributes to the advancement of proactive blockage mitigation strategies in wireless networks, showcasing the potential of UAVs as dynamic and adaptable base stations.
