Peristiwa kehamilan, melahirkan dan merawat bayi adalah salah satu dari fase siklus kehidupankeluarga yang dapat menimbulkan stress dan merupakan masa krisis sehingga akan mempengaruhikesehatan seluruh anggota keluarga. Kelahiran seorang anak merupakan salah satu peristiwa terpentingdalam kehidupan keluarga. Kelahiran dan perawatan anak membutuhkan kematangan orangtua,kematangan psikologis dan kematangan intelektual. Untuk itu sangat diperlukan bantuan oleh tenagakesehatan dan orang terdekat dengan ibu dalam memberikan dukungan, dengan hubungan yang unikdengan keluarga sehingga membuat kelahiran sebagai suatu peristiwa yang berpusat pada keluarga(Konsep Family Center Maternity Care) dan sebagai suatu pengalaman yang sangat membahagiakan.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan Analitik deskriptif. Desain dalampenelitian ini adalah Cross Sectional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, usia ibu yang terbanyak adalah padarentang usia 20-30 tahun sebanyak 10 orang (20%) dan usia >30-40 sebanyak 9 orang (18%), dan untukusia keluarga yang terbanyak adalah pada usia 40-50 tahun sebanyak 22 orang (44%). Tingkatpendidikan responden, sebanyak 21 orang (42%) berpendidikan SMA dan sebanyak 11 orang (22%)berpendidikan PT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa pandangan ibu dan keluarga tentangpemberdayaan pelayanan maternitas sebanyak 7 orang (14%) tahu, sebanyak 25 orang (50%) kurangtahu dan sebanyak 18 orang (36%) tidak tahu. Sebanyak 10 orang (20%) mampu merawat, sebanyak 30orang (60%) kurang mampu merawat dan sebanyak 10 orang (20%) tidak mampu merawat ibu hamildan komplikasinya. Semua responden 50 orang (100%) menyatakan perlunya pemberdayaan pelayananmaternitas pada ibu hamil. Sebanyak 5 orang (10%) tahu, sebanyak 10 orang (20%) kurang tahu dansebanyak 35 orang (70%) tidak tahu tentang pemberdayaan ibu dan keluarga dalam pelayananmaternitas pada ibu hamil. Ibu dan keluarga dalam pemberdayaan pelayanan maternitas pada ibu hamilmemerlukan peningkatan pengetahuan 1). Tentang perawatan kehamilan dan komplikasinya, 2).Tentang Gizi pada ibu hamil dan, 3). Tentang pemeriksaan fisik pada ibu hamil dan janinnya.Manajemen pelayanan di area keperawatan maternitas merupakan salah satu bentuk pelayananprofesional keperawatan yang ditujukan kepada wanita pada masa usia subur (WUS) berkaitan dengansystem reproduksi, kehamilan, melahirkan, nifas, antara dua kehamilan dan bayi baru lahir sampaiumur 4 0 hari, beserta keluarganya. Proses pembelajaran prosedur klinik di pendidikan kesehatan adalah hal yang paling krusial danharus mendapat perhatian yang sangat penting dan solusi yang untuk mengatasinya di masaPandemi ini agar tetap berjalan efektif dan berkelanjutan. Salah satunya adalah tetap melakukankegiatan pembelajaran prosedur klinik secara Daring. Metode Daring yang dilakukan adalah metodeceramah dan pemutaran video pada suatu keterampilan klinik tertentu. Jenis penelitian ini adalahpenelitian Kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan Analitik deskriptif. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalahCross Sectional, dimana data variabel dependen dan independen didapatkan dalam satu periodewaktu. Sampel sebanyak 75 mahasiswa tingkat 2 yang mengikuti pembelajaran Mata kuliahKeperawatan Maternitas 1 (Satu).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa metode pembelajaran pada tahap 1 ini dapat meningkatkanpengetahuan sebesar 70,6 %, meningkatkan skills mahasiswa 14,7 % dan meningkatkan attitudemahasiswa 14,7 %. Hasil evaluasi pembelajaran klinik tahap 1 pada mata kuliah keperawatanmaternitas 1 (satu) dengan menonton video dan penjelasan dari dosen masih kurang efektif 61,7 %,efektif 28% dan tidak efektif 10,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini juga dinilai bahwa metodepembelajaran pada tahap 2 dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan sebesar 14,7 %, meningkatkan skillsmahasiswa 70,6 % dan meningkatkan attitude mahasiswa 14,7 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian inijuga dinilai bahwa metode pembelajaran pada tahap 2 ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan sebesar36%, meningkatkan skills mahasiswa 20,7% dan meningkatkan attitude mahasiswa 37,3%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini juga dinilai bahwa metode pembelajaran pada semua tahapan inidapat meningkatkan pengetahuan sebesar 40%, meningkatkan skills mahasiswa 40% danmeningkatkan attitude mahasiswa 20%.Hasil evaluasi masih banyak pada penilaian kurang efektif, maka memungkinkan untuk dilakukanpembelajaran metode Blended Learning yaitu gabungan antara metode daring dan luring. Hasilevaluasi akhir bahwa 3 tahapan metode ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan skills secaraberimbang yaitu 40% dan 20% meningkatkan attitude mahasiswa, maka metode ini dapat menjadipilihan alternatif yang baik dilakukan atau dengan memodifikasi dengan teknik luring pada bagianpenjelasan materi awal, dan selanjutnya tetap bisa menggunakan teknik daring. IN ENGLISH Hepatitis B virus (HBV) causes acute and chronic liver infections. The treatment of chronic HBV infection using interferon and antiviral drugs is expensive. There was a case report of a patient with chronic hepatitis B who did not receive interferon and antiviral therapy but had negative seroconversion after taking herbs. A retrospective search showed that the patient consumed Curcuma xanthorrhiza rhizome (CXR) and Camelia sinensis green tea (CSGT). These herbs have been widely studied in vitro and in animal experiments for their role in reducing the effects of HBV infection. However, scientific studies on humans are lacking. This study describes the effects of CXR simplicia and CSGT administration in a patient with chronic hepatitis B. In this case, K, a female infected with HBV at the age of 32 years, had been taking neuro vitamins regularly for a year before the infection was known. K was asymptomatic, liver function was within normal limits, HBsAg was positive, and anti-HBs were negative. At the age of 45, she started taking CXR simplicia equivalent to 5 mg of curcumin and CSGT brew regularly. Six years later, HBsAg was not detected and her liver function remained within normal limits. Anti-HBs were detected one year later. This shows that CXR and CSGT help eliminate HBV, induce anti-HBs, and cured K from chronic hepatitis B infection. ABSTRACT IN BAHASA Hepatitis B virus (HBV) menyebabkan infeksi hepar akut dan kronis. Pengobatan infeksi HBV kronis menggunakan interferon dan obat antivirus, berbiaya sangat mahal. Ada satu laporan kasus pasien K dengan Hepatitis Kronis yang tidak mendapatkan terapi interferon dan antivirus tetapi terjadi serokonversi menjadi negatif setelah konsumsi herbal. Hasil penelusuran secara retrospektif diketahui pasien menkonsumsi rimpang Curcuma xanthorrhiza (RCX) dan daun teh hijau Camelia sinensis. Kedua herbal tersebut telah banyak diteliti secara invitro maupun menggunakan hewan coba, dapat mengatasi efek yang ditimbulkan oleh infeksi HBV, tetapi data untuk manusia masih diperlukan. Tujuan dari laporan kasus ini adalah menggambarkan efek pemberian RCX dan teh hijau Camelia sinensis pada pasien hepatitis B kronis. Pada kasus, pasien K terinfeksi HBV saat berusia 32 tahun, yang setahun sebelumnya telah mengkonsumsi neurovitamin tanpa terputus. Pasien K tidak bergejala, fungsi hepar dalam batas normal, pemeriksaan HBsAg positif, anti HBs negatif. Pada usia 45 tahun diterapi dengan simplisia RCX yang setara dengan 5 mg curcumin sehari dua kali dan seduhan teh hijau Camelia sinensis tanpa terputus. Enam tahun kemudian HBsAg tidak terditeksi, fungsi hepar tetap dalam batas normal. Setelah setahun timbul anti HBs. Hal ini diduga menunjukkan RCX dan teh hijau Camelia sinensis berefek menghilangkan HBV, menginduksi timbulnya anti HBs, dan menyembuhkan pasien K dari hepatitis B kronis

Government policies that apply social distancing, work from home, and learn from home to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 corona virus have an impact on learning methods. Clinical learning methods in pre-pandemic health education are carried out in campus laboratories and direct clinical services to patients. Thus, in this condition, the provision cannot be implemented. For this reason, it is necessary to modify the learning method from offline to online to meet the continuity of the student learning process. In the first stage, the clinical skills online learning method using online videos is supported by lecturers’ explanations in a 120-minute meeting. In the second stage, students are given the task of making videos of procedural skills that have been taught in 170 minutes, with a video duration of 10-15 minutes. At the next meeting, a review or response is carried out with students on the standard operating procedure and the theory that underlies it. The design in this study is a descriptive analysis with 511 respondents from the medical education study program and the nursing diploma 3 study program at the Faculty of Medicine, Mulawarman University. The research used was 44 items of statement questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and questionnaire items were sent to respondents via Google Forms. From the results of this study, there is a significant relationship between the perceptions of students who apply clinical skills online learning seen from the effectiveness of learning in the Covid-19 pandemic era with p-value = 0.000, with a very strong relationship with the Spearman value rho of 0.791 in a positive direction. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of online clinical skills learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was effective. As a suggestion, clinical learning methods with various blended learning or hybrid learning methods should be modified.

Insomnia is difficulty starting or maintaining sleep. There are several factors that are considered to be able to trigger and perpetuate insomnia, one of which is the sleep hygiene, which is included in the moderation factor. However, there is some controversy regarding the involvement of insufficient sleep hygiene towards insomnia. This study aims to determine the effect of sleep hygiene attitudes on the incidence of insomnia and a description of the incidence of insomnia and sleep hygiene in Mulawarman University students. The design of this study was observational analytic with a cross-sectional method, which consisted of 140 Mulawarman University students from 14 faculties. The sampling technique used is consecutive sampling. The data taken is primary data in 14 faculties of Mulawarman University. The research instrument used was the Insomnia Rating Scale questionnaire from the Kelompok Studi Psikiatri Biologi Jakarta and the Sleep Hygiene Index. The results of the study used the Chi-Square test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test obtained p value> 0.005. Based on the degree of insomnia, found 65% of respondents suffer from mild insomnia. The frequency of the sexes of women who suffer from insomnia more than men. Based on the degree of sleep hygiene attitudes, it was found that 78.6% of respondents had moderate sleep hygiene attitudes. This study concluded that there was no effect of sleep hygiene attitudes on the incidence of insomnia in Mulawarman University students.

There are no data available regarding the bronchospasmolytic activity and toxicity of water extract of Coptosapelta flavescens Korth root (WECFR). Therefore, this study aimed to determine: a. the in vitro tracheospasmolytic effect of WECFR; b. safety of WECFR using the brine shrimp lethality test (BSLT) and immobilization of Daphnia magna larvae (IDL). In study, a guinea pig tracheal ring was contracted with methacholine and cumulative doses of WECFR solution were administered. A dose-response curve (DRC) was plotted of the percentage of the tracheal ring relaxation response. To test whether the relaxation mechanism occured through stimulation of beta2-adrenergic receptors, the tracheal ring was incubated with propranolol. Data analyzed using analysis of variance, showed that the DRC of WECFR was obtained with p < 0.05 compared to the DRC of control, indicating that WECFR had a tracheospasmolytic effect. The DRC for propranolol-blocked WECFR did not shift to the right compared to the DRC of WECFR, confirming that the relaxation mechanism did not occur through the beta2-adrenergic receptors. Study b. assessed safety using BSLT and IDL. After exposing the larvae to WECFR and control for 24 and 48 h, respectively, the number of dead larvae was counted. Data analyzed using Probit program, showed that the lethal dose 50 of WECFR towards Artemia salina and Daphnia magna larvae was > 1000 ppm, which means that it was not toxic. This studies demonstrate that WECFR exhibits tracheospasmolitic effect, but not through beta2-adrenergic receptors; WECFR is safe for Artemia salina and Daphnia magna larvae.

Preeclampsia defined as new onset of hypertension and proteinuria after 20 weeks of gestation. Preeclampsia is one of the three main causes of maternal mortality with an incidence of 128,273 each year or around 5.3% in Indonesia. Preeclampsia is classified as preeclampsia without severe features and severe preeclampsia. Severe preeclampsia can be a problem, both in the mother and the fetus due to vascular vasospasm. If uteroplacental blood flow to the fetus is limited, the fetus can be born under low birth weight (LBW), preterm birth, intra uterine fetal death, and low Apgar score. The aim of this research is to determine the correlation of severe preeclampsia with fetal complication, that is intra uterine fetal death (IUFD), preterm labor, neonatal asphyxia, and low birth weight (LBW). The design of this research is case control study with 46 sample for both case and control groups. The data analysis used chi-square for 2x2 table and likelihood ratio for 2x3 table. The results of this this research is showed that there was correlation between severe preeclampsia with preterm labor (p=0,000)and severe preeclampsia with low birth weight (p=0,000), there was no correlation between severe preeclampsia with IUFD (p=0,822) and severe preeclampsia with neonatal asphyxia (p=0,060)

Coptosapelta flavescens Korth. is a liana plant from the Rubiaceae family. In East Kalimantan, it is also known as “Akar Tambolekar” or “Merung”, it is called “akar” or root as its trunk spreads like a root. The plant’s stems are used by ethnic Dayak in East Kalimantan to overcome high blood pressure and it has been proven to induce vasorelaxation on blood vessels, but the its action mechanism in the endothelial or vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) are unknown. Vasorelaxation on the blood vessels could be mediated by endothelial or by the VSMC. This research aims to study in vitro which of them is the mechanism of action of Coptosapelta flavescens Stems (CFS) extract. CFS were taken from the secondary forest in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province. Its simplicia were macerated with methanol solvent for three days and twice repeated. Vasorelaxation activity of the blood vessels was tested with rats’ isolated thoracic aorta with endothelial and with the endothelial removed (endothelium-denuded). Both aorta of 3 mm length were soaked into Krebs-Henselheit solution at 37°C, pH 7.4 and aerated with carbogen gas. After they have acclimatized, both aortas were contracted with phenylephrine solution, after reaching peak contraction and plateau, the solution of extract or its solvent (Control) was administered in cumulatively increasing doses. The results show that CFS extracts induce vasorelaxation both in the endothelial-intact aorta and in the endothelial-denuded aorta. At high concentrations, the vasorelaxation activity in the endothelial-intact aorta was weaker than that on endothelial-denuded aorta. This study proves that action mechanism of blood vessels’ vasorelaxation induced by the methanol extract of CFS were more dominantly mediated by the blood vessels smooth muscle; and at high concentrations the endothelial actually weakened the VSMC vasorelaxation activity. Background It is important for nurses to recognize and integrate the dimensions of body, mind, and spirit in their daily clinical practice (Dossey, 2005). If the client's needs are not met in one of the dimensions that can cause health and welfare problems. 94% of patients visiting hospitals in the US believe that spiritual health is as important as physical health. The need to get the attention that understanding caring alone is not enough to make a nurse can provide good service. Based on Maslow's theory that a person will do his work in accordance with the level of his needs. Understanding of a nurse who is at the level 5 stage of self-actualization, actually only wants to provide satisfaction for the achievement of personal self-actualization. If only the understanding of the concept of nurses was already at level 6. The importance of changing the mindset of nurses with the concept of caring spirituality so that nurses are fully aware of the deepest heart to get true blessing and happiness when nurses care for patients and afterward. Result The survey results from the 6-month in-house training process were able to increase the caring spirituality of nurses, which in turn was able to increase the application of services in nursing in hospitals.  Death  caused  by  cardiovascular  and  cerebrovascular diseases  are  still  the  highest.  Atherosclerosis  due  to hypercholesterolemia is a predispositioning factor of both diseases. Curcumin has an antioxidant character that can inhibit lipid peroxidase to atherogenesis process. The aim of this study was to observe the effect of curcumin in decreasing total cholesterol level, LDL-cholesterol, the number of  F2-isoprostan and foam cell of aorta’s wall of white rats strain wistar after giving atherogenic diet for 10 weeks. There were 6 groups in this study (n=24): atherogenic diet group (group I as positive control), atherogenic diet group + curcumin 50 mg/kg b.w. per day (group II), atherogenic diet group + curcumin 100 mg/kg b.w. per day (group III), atherogenic diet group + curcumin 200 mg/kg b.w. per day (group IV), atherogenic diet group + curcumin 400 mg/kg b.w. per day (group V), normal diet group (group VI as negative control). After 10th, the level of total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol were measured by spectrofotometri. Staining F2-isoprostan was done with Avidin Biotin Complex imunohystochemistry method, and staining foam cell with HE-oil Red O. The number of  F2-isoprostan and foam cells were counting semi quantitatively using  light microscope. The highest total cholesterol level was found in group I (275,15 ± 10,01; Mean ± SD), the highest LDL-cholesterol level was found in group I (158,15 ± 12,19). Statistically total cholesterol level and LDL-cholesterol level in group I were significantly higher (p ≤ 0,05) than other
