The MostCommon responsible germs are streptococci and staphylococci.Neisseria is a strain of bacteria characterized by several subgroups such as gram-negative diplococci which are present in the respiratory tract and which are generally harmless and other gram-negative bacteria such as Neisseria gonorrhoeae which are known to be pathogens involved in several pathologies.We report a case of infectious endocarditis in 37-year-old patient with mitral valve replacement who presented a prolonged febrile syndrome with discovery on transesophageal echocardiography of vegetation and blood cultures of an SP Neisseria.

Behcets disease (BD) is a multi-systemic inflammatory disorder characterized by a recurrent oral and genital aphthosis associated with multiple organ disorders: ophthalmic, neurological, vascular, and digestive.Cardiac involvement in BD especially Intra-cardiac thrombus (ICT) is extremely rare only 50 cases have been registered worldwide [1-5]. We report a rare case of two patients aged respectively 18-year-old and 50-year-old who are diagnosed with Behcets disease complicated by right-sided heart thrombi extended to the pulmonary artery.

Introduction: The risk factors for aortic stenosis have been shown to be similar to those for atherosclerosis. Thus, coronary disease is often found simultaneously in patients with aortic stenosis. Our work aims to determine the frequency of coronary disease in a Moroccan population with aortic stenosis while recalling the causes and the prognostic and therapeutic impacts of this association. Materials and Methods: This is a retrospective study of 148 patients hospitalized at the cardiology center of the military hospital of Rabat over a period of 24 months, during which we analyzed clinical, electrocardiographic, echocardiographic and coronarographic data of the patients in order to evaluate the coronary involvement during aortic stenosis. Results: The mean age of the population was 65 [57, 74] years, the sex ratio was 1.21. Smoking reported in 38.5% of patients was the main modifiable cardiovascular risk factor, followed by hypertension in 35.8% of patients. Dyspnea on exertion was the most frequent reason for consultation at 81%, 64% of which were at least NYHA functional class III, followed by angina, which represented 33% of the series. The aortic stenosis was tight in the majority (mean SAo: 0.8 cm²) and the left ventricular ejection fraction was preserved overall. Coronary artery disease was associated with aortic stenosis in 24% of cases, with predominantly monotruncal involvement (53%) followed by tritruncal involvement (30%). 21.6% of these patients underwent coronary artery bypass grafting concomitantly with surgical replacement of the aortic valve. Conclusion: The incidence of coronary artery disease associated with aortic stenosis is variable according to age. It is higher in European series because of aging. In our relatively younger population, it is lower but not negligible.

Persistent left superior vena cava is a rare and benign congenital malformation. It is often asymptomatic, and its discovery is in most cases fortuitous. We report the case of a fortuitous discovery of this malformation in front of atypical chest pain.

We report a 26-year-old man with critical aortic coarctation, severe bicuspid aortic valve stenosis, infective endocarditis and ascending aortic aneurysm. He underwent simultaneously in singlestage a Bentall’s procedure and an extra-anatomic ascending-descending aortic bypass grafting by 14-mm Dacron tube, through median sternotomy. The immediate postoperative outcome was favourable. The CT scan control for 7 years after surgery showed a good patency of the extra-anatomic bypass.

A left ventricular aneurysm (LVA) is a localized dyskinetic area of infarcted myocardium that bulges in systole and diastole. It is a well-studied structural complication seen post myocardial infarction although decreasing in incidence due to major improvements in reperfusion therapy. Persistent ST elevation is the most widely reported electrocardiographic manifestation of left ventricular aneurysms. LVA may be evident on chest x-ray, as observed in this case. Diagnosis is noninvasively confirmed using echocardiography. Complications of LVA include congestive heart failure, ventricular arrhythmias and rupture that can lead to sudden cardiac death Surgical treatment is usually effective and followed by a marked improvement in function but is burdened with a heavy postoperative mortality. We report the case of a 68-year-old man, with a history of Myocardial infarction presenting with a huge left ventricular aneurysm.

Myxoma is the most common primary tumor of the heart and can arise in any of the cardiac chambers. This paper reports A 50 -year-old woman without medical history and any cardiovascular risk factors was hospitalized for exertional dyspnea and palpitations from three months and signifiant weight loss. Transthoracic echocardiogram showed a giant left atrial myxoma mobile confined to the left atrium in systole, in diastole the tumor was seen prolapsing across the mitral valve into the left ventricle and partially obstructing it and causing severe functional mitral stenosis with a mean gradient of 21,3 mmHg. Severe pulmonary hypertension was confirmed by Doppler PAPs =137 mmHg. The patient was scheduled for cardiac surgery with good outcome.
