- Abstract
Electricity consumption during oil production is a significant cost for industry enterprises. One of state policy's most important tasks in extracting minerals is increasing energy efficiency and the intellectualization of control and management systems. The solution to these tasks can be achieved through competent planning of the technological process and the organization of information support at all stages. The paper presents the development of a method for power consumption, the optimization of an electric submersible pump installation. The technological restrictions are also identified. The developed methodology was tested; according to the results of the calculations, it was found that the reduction in specific power consumption can reach 12.68%. An assessment of the economic feasibility of the changing parameters of the electrical equipment has been carried out. Within the framework of the integrated logistic support approach, a program was developed for the selection of rational parameters of equipment in order to increase the energy efficiency of the installation of electric submersible pumps. The research results can be applied to oil-extracting industry enterprises in the framework of energy efficiency improvement programs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is a tool that ensures the operation and longevity of products and systems throughout their lifecycle. The method structures logistics support activities and yields results that simplify, prevent, or mitigate risk areas, ultimately aiming to minimize lifecycle costs. ILS was developed within the defense industry, but its use in the civilian sector is still limited, indicating untapped potential. The purpose of the research is to investigate the process of ILS implementation and the potential benefits it could bring to the civilian industry. The emphasis is on comprehending the process and methodically developing guidelines that organizations can adopt. This purpose is achieved through an initial literature review examining integrated logistics support. The ideas are then implemented in a case study to demonstrate the process and generate improvement strategies. Based on the case study, the conclusion is drawn that the method achieves the desired effects. A generalized methodology is presented, which can be utilized by civilian companies and organizations.

- Abstract
The increased use of Unmanned Ground Vehicles affects how Integrated Logistics Support is performed due to the removal of onboard operators. This thesis aims to identify key differences between how Integrated Logistics Support is performed on Manned and Unmanned Ground Vehicles. Thereby providing the industry with the requested basis for necessary changes in Integrated Logistics Support for future systems. By conducting semi-structured interviews, six experts provided knowledge of inherent differences between Manned and Unmanned Ground Vehicles. The interview data was used to develop Maintenance Concepts for Manned and Unmanned Ground Vehicles. By comparing these maintenance concepts, differences were identified mainly in the form of maintenance and support operations due to the disappearance of the onboard operator. Multiple questions were also raised by the experts, asking when unmanned ground vehicles should be considered consumable, how redundant they should be, where the boundaries of cyber lie within the system, and to what degree they are autonomous. This work signifies the importance of continued research on the topic of Integrated Logistics Support in regard to future unmanned systems., Den ökade användningen av Obemannade Markfordon (UGV) påverkar hur Integrerat Logistikstöd (ILS) utförs på grund av att ombordoperatörer tas bort.

Integrated logistics support (ILS) is of great significance for maintaining equipment operational capability in the whole lifecycle. Numerous segments and complex product objects exist in the process of equipment ILS, which gives ILS data multi-source, heterogeneous, and multidimensional characteristics. The present ILS data cannot satisfy the demand for efficient utilization. Therefore, the unified modeling of ILS data is extremely urgent and significant. In this paper, a unified data modeling method is proposed to solve the consistent and comprehensive expression problem of ILS data. Firstly, a four-tier unified data modeling framework is constructed based on the analysis of ILS data characteristics. Secondly, the Core unified data model, Domain unified data model, and Instantiated unified data model are built successively. Then, the expressions of ILS data in the three dimensions of time, product, and activity are analyzed. Thirdly, the Lifecycle ILS unified data model is constructed, and the multidimensional information retrieval methods are discussed. Based on these, different systems in the equipment ILS process can share a set of data models and provide ILS designers with relevant data through different views. Finally, the practical ILS data models are constructed based on the developed unified data modeling software prototype, which verifies the feasibility of the proposed method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction/purpose:The paper presents the development of logistics as a specific field of military branch, a contemporary field of business and a scientific discipline which inspires many researchers, theorists and practitioners to approach logistical problems from various aspects. The essence of logistics is an integrated approach to all its constituent activities, which reduces costs and increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics system in supporting the primary activities of an organization or a technical system. Due to intensive and multidimensional development of logistics and its applications in various fields, the need for highly educated logistics personnel with specialized knowledge for performing a wide range of activities in the logistics system is becoming increasingly necessary. Methods: Based on the description of military, business, national and humanitarian logistics and a comparative analysis, their mutual relationship is shown. Results: Based on the performed analysis, an explanation of the importance of studying logistics as a multidisciplinary science and pointing out the need for specific training of logistics personnel was given. Conclusion: Logistics is intensively developing in various fields depending on the goals of the system (organizational and technical) it supports. In general, commercial logistics is evolving faster than military logistics, and many innovative commercial logistics solutions are being deployed in military logistics. However, certain solutions that produce good results in the commercial sector do not produce adequate results in the military. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out research and study of the functioning of logistics systems in different fields and carefully integrate individual solutions into the military logistics system. As the most complex logistics system, military logistics requires specific staffing and training of logistics professionals. Zbog toga je neophodno vršiti istraživanja i proučavanja funkcionisanja logističkih sistema u različitim oblastima i pojedina rešenja pažljivo ugrađivati u vojni logistički sistem. Kao najkompleksniji logistički sistem, vojna logistika zahteva specifičan kadar i način obrazovanja logističkih stručnjaka.

The topicality of implementation of life cycle integrated logistic support for weapons and military equipment that are designed, manufactured, operated and disposed in Ukraine is substantiate in the article. It was shown that the most effective and widespread in the world tool for implementing integrated logistics support is the CALS-concept (Continuous Acquisition and Life Cycle Support). The United States of America is the leader in this field, where the CALS-concept was originated in the mid-80s. Today, despite the very high level of standardization in the field of CALS technologies and systems, there are national peculiarities of the implementation of the CALS concept in the practice of weapons and military equipment life cycle management for different countries. The challenges identification that may arise in the way of the implementation of the CALS concept in the Ukrainian defence industry and security forces is the purpose of the article. The task was solved by analysing and summarizing the experience of introducing life cycle integrated logistical support for armaments and military equipment (based on CALS technologies) in NATO member countries, which can be compared with Ukraine in territory, military, industrial and scientific potentials. The next countries were chosen: The French Republic, Spain, Italy and Germany. For each country were identified the most important challenges and ways of their overcome. The article shows how this experience can be useful for Ukrainian defense industry and Armed Forces. The experience of the French Republic substantiates the expediency of integrating the information systems existing in the state, for example, various kinds of registries, the Prozorro system, etc. with information systems support the life cycle of. The Spanish experience is important for transparent pricing of life cycle of weapons and military equipment. Italy introduces the latest trend in this area – performance-based logistics. There is a CALS-forum of Germany – a platform for uniting and sharing the experience of specialists in this field. These studies should be the basement for the further development of CALS-systems and technologies for Ukrainian weapons and military equipment, which will be developed and upgraded in a hybrid war.

The operational maintenance areas (including maintenance budget preparation, creation cost, maintenance equipment, repair parts, and tool supply) are not sufficiently reflected in the total life cycle for acquiring and powering the weapons system, thereby reducing combat readiness and increasing operational maintenance costs. As the speed of development of the technology is accelerating, but equipment and parts in power-generating operation become obsolete, resulting in disruption to the operation of equipment and supplies at the field, the need for the establishment of a comprehensive military water support (ILS) system that is analyzed and reflected in the acquisition phase is increased. This study is required from the perspective of the total life cycle of electric power equipment and materialsThe purpose of the Chapter is to develop a realistic and efficient comprehensive military water support (ILS) development plan for stable combat capability by improving the operational disconnect and the lack of integrated comprehensive water support (ILS) management due to changes in the performance institutions during the raising, acquisition and operation maintenance stages. The establishment of a comprehensive military water support (ILS) system for field powering equipment and supplies will be reflected in decision-making between acquisitions and the results of this study can be utilized as basic data for mid-term planning and budgeting.

In equipment integrated logistics support (ILS), the supply capability of spare parts is a significant factor. There are lots of depots in the traditional support system, which makes too many redundant spare parts and causes high cost of support. Meanwhile, the inconsistency among depots makes it difficult to manage spare parts. With the development of information technology and transportation, the supply network has become more efficient. In order to further improve the efficiency of supply-support work and the availability of the equipment system, building a system of one centralized depot with multiple depots becomes an appropriate way. In this case, location selection of the depots including centralized depots and multiple depots becomes a top priority in the support system. This paper will focus on the location selection problem of centralized depots considering ILS factors. Unlike the common location selection problem, depots in ILS require a higher service level. Therefore, it becomes desperately necessary to take the high requirement of the mission into account while determining location of depots. Based on this, we raise an optimal depot location model. First, the expected transportation cost is calculated. Next, factors in ILS such as response time, availability and fill rate are analyzed for evaluating positions of open depots. Then, an optimization model of depot location is developed with the minimum expected cost of transportation as objective and ILS factors as constraints. Finally, a numerical case is studied to prove the validity of the model by using the genetic algorithm. Results show that depot location obtained by this model can guarantee the effectiveness and capability of ILS well. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As an advanced reliability-estimation concept, prognostics and health management (PHM) has been widely used to estimate the remaining useful life (RUL) of individual systems, especially those embedded in U.S. military applications. However, there have as yet been no specific attempts to apply PHM or another advanced reliability-estimation methods to South Korea's defense systems. We herein examine a feasible application to improve the reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) of defense system performance, mainly through simulation-study-based comparison of South Korean and United States reliability-estimation technologies and strategies. We then provide a long-term-perspective roadmap for the introduction of PHM to South Korea's defense systems. In particular, it is expected that availability improvement in South Korean defense systems can be achieved through accurate RUL prediction by introducing PHM to defense system operation. Purpose Materials supply is one of the important elements in construction operation and a major factor affecting the quality of construction projects. Many industries look to manage materials effectively by attempting to integrate logistics processes into logistics chains of suppliers and customers. Logistics processes, being crucial for successful completion of construction projects, but in fact, auxiliary, are often entrusted to external professionals specialised in logistic services, such as logistics centres. However, this tendency is yet to be developed in construction. The purpose of this paper is to develop a simulation framework for the examination of potential improvements of logistics performance using logistics centres. Design/methodology/approach A case study approach was adopted with computer simulation using Flexsim. Data of vehicle movements were collected during construction on-site from the start of construction to “hand-over” to the building owner. Findings The ideal location of a logistics centre is identified using vehicle movements data collected on the site. The potential improvements of the planned centre are then evaluated by simulating various scenarios of vehicle movements. The enclosed results from the simulations indicate that using a logistics centre will reduce waste for the construction project considered. Originality/value The paper emphasises that creating a logistics centre for a project can improve construction logistics performance, by consolidating and optimizing both off-site and on-site logistics, especially when the site condition is prohibitive (small footprint with limited loading bay area). Establishing logistics centres may help find ways of making the overall construction project more effective by improving the management of materials.

The goal of this article was twofold. The first objective was to investigate the diffusion and use of Project Management tools and techniques by manufacturing companies in an emerging economy, such as Argentina. The second objective was to assess the impact these instruments have on companies' financial and non-financial performance. The companies selected for the analysis have their registered office in the province of Buenos Aires. Overall, 172 manufacturing companies participated in the survey. The research used a quantitative analysis methodology, using a questionnaire for data collection. The influence of Project Management tools on the performance of companies (users and non-users) was assessed using a non-parametric approach. Regarding the first objective of the research, the results showed that SMEs use a limited set of Project management tools and techniques. However, most managers have shown a strong focus on such tools. About the second objective, the results highlight positive and statistically significant relationships between most PM tools and business performance, suggesting that PM users perform better than non-users. The results show that the scoreboard has a positive impact on the financial and non-financial results of manufacturing firms. Configuration management and cost estimation techniques result in the higher financial performance of user companies than non-user companies. Besides, users of integrated logistics support have significantly better financial and non-financial performance than other companies. Keywords: Project management, Performance, SME, Emerging EconomiesJEL Classifications: G32, M16, M21DOI: https://doi.org/10.32479/ijefi.11421

Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is disciplined and unified management including activities in product life cycle management to create a product maintenance system (MS) to support the product throughout its intended life cycle at an acceptable cost. Along with information models combining product descriptions such as breakdowns, fault trees and methods of restorations, etc., mathematical models considered effective tools to get optimal results are proposed. The paper will present mathematical models, which play important roles in assessing and estimating material demand (spare parts), for the material supply management. These models are applied, in different levels of the ILS system, to the direct calculation of the material demands for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

This paper studies how local non-oil Omani products could reach global markets by attracting local and international investors and improving the integrated logistics system in Oman. Therefore, the scope of this research is investment agencies in Oman, which are the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion and the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development. This study targets the leading logistics companies in Oman, such as Asyad Group. The study used an online survey and direct interview targeting specialists and experts in investment agencies and logistics companies. The results of the research showed that challenges are facing attracting local and international investors in local industries. Those challenges are the lengthy, complicated and costly procedures to obtain permits and licenses for investors, weak promotion of investment opportunities and local products at the international level, weakness of the local market, cumbersome regulations of the government, and so on. All these challenges constitute an obstacle to attracting investments. Findings also vindicate that weaknesses in logistical performance represented by the complex export and import procedures, complications in customs clearance operations, and the weak performance of land, sea, and air transport, which constitutes a barrier to exporting local products to global markets. The primary limitations that the researchers faced in conducting this research. First, there were many complications in collecting information through interviews. Some companies refused to conduct interviews due to preventive measures for the spread of the Coronavirus, which may affect the results.

- Abstract
Increased trends towards servitization within previously exclusively manufacturing industries makes a larger part of maintenance become the responsibility of the manufacturer. This increased responsibility makes it more important for suppliers to know how different parameters contribute to cost, to be able to price their contracts correctly. Systems Engineering (SE) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) are two current methodologies on how to manage large systems. These methodologies are mainly used within defence industries and large capital-intensive infrastructure projects but are today also utilised in civilian industries. With the new methodology of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and the new demands of servitization it becomes more important to know how different parameters affect the final cost of a project during the very early phases of development. Within ILS the parameters Administrative Delay Time (ADT) and Logistics Delay Time (LDT) have previously not received attention proportional to their contribution to overall availability in projects. This thesis is based in literature, interviews of industry professionals, and the study of a real case of an electrical charging infrastructure project currently in development. From these sources multiple paths to resolve the issues with support from ILS, MBSE, SE, and other management literature are explored. Several attributes of the case, and characteristics of MBSE and ILS leads to the conclusion that coupling the methodologies with Lean methods would lead to better insight into where critical points in the explored system are and give ways of resolving issues with ADT and LDT that exist. The combination of MBSE and Lean methods could successfully identify possible critical points in the error handling of the electrical charging infrastructure system early in the process of implementation. Conclusionary the combination of MBSE, ILS, and Lean is a possibly powerful way to identify and improve the availab, Tjänstefiering är en trend som gör att en allt större del av underhåll inom tidigare endast tillverkande industrier blir tillverkarens ansvar.

This article investigated the comprehensive risk management model practised at SWIFT Integrated Logistics chemical storage operations. The objective is to systematically illustrate the risk factors by identifying risks and mitigating them from the flow of the operation. By reducing or containing the risk factors, we are able to provide a conducive, safe, secure working environment with initiatives toward zero-incident reporting cases. A qualitative research method was applied in this study. Respondents selected for this study were at the managerial level at SWIFT Integrated Logistics with experience working in warehouse operations for more than five years. SWIFT Integrated Logistics management wanted to diversify its warehouse customer's portfolio and accepted new business opportunities in chemicals warehouse storage. The move contributed greatly to the business strategy and finance, but they faced serious risk management issues, which resulted in six (6) incidents and raised the level of anxiety and concern among the warehouse team on health & safety issues. Future studies may look into additional strategies to implement a better warehouse risk management model or plan for a chemical warehouse. This study suggested that regular or continuous training should be provided to the staff. Basic first aid kit training is an example of the mandatory training that should be part of the job standard operating procedure. This paper contributes to the limited existing study on chemical warehouse operations. Experience and measures taken by SWIFT management may provide some ideas to improve the management of chemical warehouse for other warehouse operators. Although chemical warehouse operation safety is important, there is scarce academic research that explores this issue.

The problem of developing an effective system for controlling the condition of electrical equipment in the conditions of the transformation of the modern electric power industry is investigated. The classification of approaches to the equipment condition control depending on the degree of using the available information is presented. An option of forming the equipment condition control function based on “flexible” strategies and nondestructive testing technology is proposed. The conceptual model developed describes the principles of structural and functional interaction of procedures for controlling the equipment’s key technical parameters, the predictive diagnostics of its condition, and the assessment and planning of its subsequent operation within the framework of procedures of integrated logistics support over the short or long term. The scenarios of developing criteria for making control decisions during operation of electrotechnical equipment based on the results of nondestructive testing taking into account the actual category of its condition and the requirements of regulatory and technical documentation are considered. An example of using this approach at oil extraction facilities is given. The development of the proposed conceptual solutions is considered as a possibility to improve the technical and economic efficiency of the equipment operation procedures, including the construction of new-generation electric power grids.

The development of the scientific concept of the economic category “logistics of trade services”dictates the need for the formation of logistics systems of trade services, which should be based on two dominantcomponents - this is the territorial component and the integral. The need to include a territorial component isexplained by the fact that retail trade and public catering, working for a specific consumer, gravitate towards theplaces where their client is located. The second component, an integrated logistics tool, provides for a significantchange in the objective function and the criteria for the optimality of logistics activities, which makes it possible toachieve maximum competitive advantages to ensure the implementation of development strategies of the tradingindustry as a whole. In times of progressive digital transformation and constant change, a continuous reorientation ofstationary retail is indispensable in order to be successful in the future. The practical recommendations for actionprovide a guideline for the transformation of stationary retailing based on digital change processes. Various factorsare taken into account, which is identified as critical success factors for stationary retail. These include areorientation of the business model, the introduction of new digital technologies and data protection. In general, stationary retail must rethink the business model holistically and be open to radical innovations in order to besuccessful in the long term.

We analyze the integrated logistics network design and inventory stocking problem in service parts logistics, where each customer requires a certain response time-based service level. We introduce a non-linear mixed integer optimization model that explicitly captures the interdependency between network design (locating facilities, and allocating customers’ demands to facilities) and inventory stocking decisions (stock levels and their corresponding stochastic fill rates). We then provide two different linearized mixed integer formulations for this problem that can solve small and medium size problems. We show that it is still a challenging problem in general, for which we have a Lagrangian-relaxation based approach that provides extremely tight lower and upper bounds. Our extensive computational study shows the effectiveness of the proposed approach for a variety of problem instances, producing provably near-optimal integrated solutions.

The article is devoted to the research of modern tendencies of defining the essence of supply chain management as an innovative philosophy of spiral business dynamics. The research is based on the generalization and application of the basic principles of wave theory of development, classical theory of marketing, modern provisions of the theory of TQM and conceptual provisions of the theory of spiral dynamics. A new look at supply chain architecture, from identifying growing needs for specific products and ending with utilization, namely the emergence of new links in the chain of transformation of resources such as the stage of intelligent innovation processes to create modifications and upgrades or design a new product to meet growing needs. A multicomponent process of change is considered in view of current trends. The application of the theory of the spiral dynamics of the supply chains is a logical and predictable extrapolation of the general tendencies of the development of the life support system and the growing needs of society, starting from the “subsistence economy” and to the creation of modern global economic associations such as transnational corporations and international transport corridors. economic associations of countries and international programs of scientific search in the field of artificial intelligence and development of the cosmos.

Truck flow plays a vital role in urban traffic congestion and has a significant influence on cities. In this study, we develop a novel model for solving regional logistics network (RLN) design problems considering the traffic status of the background transportation network. The models determine not only the facility location, initial distribution planning, roadway construction, and expansion decisions but also offer an optimal solution to the logistics network service level and truck-type selections. We first analyze the relationship between the urban transportation network and the RLN design problem using real truck data and traffic flow status in a typical city. Then, we develop the uncover degree function (UDF), which reflects the service degree of the RLN and formulates based on an impedance function. Subsequently, the integrated logistics network design models are proposed. We model the RLN design problem as a minimal cost problem and design double-layer Lagrangian relaxation heuristics algorithms to solve the model problems. Through experiments with data from the six-node problem and Sioux-Falls network, the effectiveness of the models and algorithms is verified. This study contributes to the planning of regional logistics networks while mitigating traffic congestion caused by truck flow.

In today’s economic context most supply chains are global and complex. Therefore integrating different transportation modes have become crucial for achieving cost and time savings in most supply chain systems. This paper presents a framework for evaluating the potential for implementing air-maritime integration. First we identified ten most influencing factors to establish a air-maritime integrated logistics hub using expert opinion and literature. Meanwhile two methods of integration, substitution and complementary were identified. AHP analysis was used to derive important weights to influencing factors and to determine the best method of integration. Finally IPA analysis was used to identify relative importance and current performance of individual factors and to classify them to four quadrants. Future actions required for implementing air-maritime integrated logistics were discussed based on the IPA classification. The framework was applied to assess the air-maritime integration potential of Sri Lanka. As per the results of the analysis, the best suited method for Sri Lanka was found to be the complementary method. Results also suggested that worldwide connectivity and centralized location are the most important criteria for implementing integrated logistics. By further improving the analysis procedure, this can be used for any other scenario in the world for evaluating the potential for air-sea integration.

Conclusionary the combination of MBSE, ILS, and Lean is a possibly powerful way to identify and improve the availability and consequently the cost of a project in the early stages.

Integrated logistics support (ILS) and asset management (AM) are two concepts associated with the life cycle of a physical asset. Each of them has an objective of optimising the life cycle cost in order to maximise return on investment. However, the integration of ILS with AM may lead to improved optimisation of the life cycle cost based on the concept of synergy. The aim of this paper is to investigate how ILS and AM can be integrated and whether the resulting framework has the potential for improving physical AM. This bridge of familiar concepts is expected to support practitioners and academics in understanding a holistic framework for managing the life cycle of assets. In the academia, it can support the teaching of life cycle management. This paper builds on a study of relevant literature to realise a generic integrated logistics support and asset management (ILSAM) framework. The ILSAM framework is adapted to infrastructure assets by adapting its ILS component based on additional literature study and experience in relation to a large-scale railway project. This adaptation shows a potential for improved quality management, which plays a vital role in enhancing safety.

The distribution/allocation problem is known as one of the most comprehensive strategic decision. In real-world cases, it is impossible to solve a distribution/allocation problem in traditional ways with acceptable time. Hence researchers develop efficient non-traditional techniques for the large-term operation of the whole supply chain. These techniques provide near optimal solutions particularly for large-scale test problems. This paper presents an integrated supply chain model which is flexible in the delivery path. As the solution methodology, we apply a memetic algorithm with a neighborhood search mechanism and novelty in population presentation method called “extended random path direct encoding method.” To illustrate the performance of the proposed memetic algorithm, LINGO optimization software serves as comparison basis for small size problems. In large-size cases that we are dealing with in real world, a classical genetic algorithm as the second metaheuristic algorithm is considered to compare the results and show the efficiency of the memetic algorithm.

- Abstract
Swedish military logistics are in large part dependent on civilian business assets in the acquisition of certain materiel. Here are products with high commercial-turnover-rate, which for a military organization who want to be able to buy the same product years later makes it difficult. The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and their consultant partners frequently run into this problem in their support functions, specifically the integrated logistics support (ILS) process. By request of the FMV consultant partner Svekon, the main purpose of the study is to investigate the subject of Swedish logistics and general ILS processes. This with the goal of determining how suitable ILS-processes can be designed for materiel systems with high-turnover-rates. The study is divided into investigations of the ILS subject, the current process within FMV and its partners, and factors around Swedish defence-logistics that play a part in the process. Methods include interviewing personnel who work within two exemplified materiel areas, including FMV, Svekon, civilian contractors, and the users within the Swedish Armed Forces (SwAF). Second is a literature study based on prior works and theories around ILS and Swedish logistics conduct, including models, guidelines, and factors that contribute to an efficient ILS-process. With the gathered material from both methods the major contributing factors and models are discussed and put into highlighting an ILS-framework to follow. The conclusion through a broader understanding of military logistics suggests that the term “logistics” and suitability of “efficiency” are in large part up to interpretation by the different actors, due to different underlying processes and goals. As such, the final contribution is a set of universal success factors that with the example of an applied ILS-framework for Svekon can be used by any ILS actor to construct a process according to their background., Svensk militärlogistik är till stor del beroende av civila affärstillgångar vid anskaffning av viss materiel.

In recent years many companies shift from product-based to service-based business models. This includes aerospace and defense industries. This new trend of servitization moves the risk of system downtime and higher servicing costs from customers to contractors and increases the need for more precise estimations on in-service support of systems. The fundamentals of in-service support (ISS) planning is not a new concept. Aerospace and defense has set foundations with the introduction of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), a discipline within Systems Engineering, in the 1960s. Nowadays, ILS (also Supportability Engineering or Logistics Engineering) anticipates servitization and other trends by transforming into Integrated Product Support (IPS). Decisions for ISS in utilization are taken in the early system life cycle phases. Uncertainty in these phases has a negative effect and represents a threat to ILS and system performance in utilization. The use of reliable measures for ILS is needed in early life cycle. However, no ILS specific measures for early life cycle phases have been established. Instead, system measures for reliability, maintainability, availability, affordability (or life cycle costing), etc. are also used for measuring ILS performance. Unfortunately, it is not documented if established system measures work for ILS. This paper is addressing the issue. Established system measures were qualitatively reviewed for their applicability in ILS in early life cycle phases and utilization. Found weaknesses are described. As a result, the need for ILS specific measures is identified.

Each logistics information system has its own storage. This is due to the fact that the companies that form the supply chain are independent and may have different legal statuses, legal documents, etc. But in order to ensure the smooth and adequate operation of the platform when making decisions, it is necessary that the data and applications of one system be recognizable in another system. Therefore, integration is needed at several levels. The main goal of the study is to showpossible ways of creating integrations starting from the system design stage. Integration theory is a complex task, so it needs to be comprehensively considered. All integration processes are reduced to data integration and software integration. The analysis of integration methods is carried out, as well as factors that negatively affect the integration possibilities are considered. Solutions of integration problems, to ensure the optimization of the design process (reduction of the design time) and design of the system itself (minimization of the content of the system), and during the operation of systems, optimization of its functioning (behavior) of the system. As a result of the study, the need to create data integration and application integration that allows you to structure data is shown. It should be noted that data can be located at all levels of the system architecture. And the system software can be: software modules, applications and systems. The basis of all types of system software, i.e. applications and an integral system are made up of software modules, design and development of software (i.e. based on programming systems) is based on service-oriented technologies, where the basis of systems is software services. The research carried out can be used in the development of information systems. Keywords: information system, platform, integration, services, data.
