Despite the importance of social network analysis (SNA) in public administration, comprehensive reviews on this topic are rare. This study aims to fill this gap by focusing on the application of SNA in network research within public administration. This research analyzes 144 empirical papers from top public administration journals (January 1997–January 2022), utilizing bibliometric and content analyses. The study identifies social capital, the Advocacy Coalition Framework (ACF), the ecology of games framework, and resource dependence theory as the predominant theoretical foundations of SNA. The primary focus of these works is on collective action problems and public service delivery, with a trend towards the integration and comparison of theories. Through content analysis, we find a notable shift in SNA application from descriptive analysis to network inference, predominantly using Exponential Random Graph Models (ERGMs). It also reveals the growing significance of network visualization in SNA. Purpose: This paper reviews scholarly literature on electronic banking (EB) research over a three-decade period. The focus of this review is to evaluate the intellectual structure and trends and unearth new areas in the research domain of EB. Design/methodology/approach: Drawing data from the Scopus database, a bibliometric analysis was performed on 2,391 research articles published in the EB domain. The articles were examined and synthesized through volume analysis, citation analysis, authorship analysis and the level of collaboration, co-citation analysis and keyword co-occurrence analysis. A well-known bibliometric tool, VOSviewer, was used to create and analyse various bibliometric maps, networks and tables. Findings: This study uncovers the temporal and spatial trends of publications on EB, the most influential documents, authors, productive publication outlets, countries in the domain, the status of collaboration and the major themes that have been studied in the literature. The publication trail over the years has been gauged using overlay visualization. Practical implications: This paper highlights new concepts that have emerged in EB over the past three decades and suggests future avenues for research in this area. Originality/value: Research in the domain of EB is empirical, with only a handful of studies being literature reviews. This is the first-of-its-kind study that aims to trace the development of electronic banking over the past 29 years, from 1994 to 2022, through bibliometric analysis and network visualization. Although service quality in spectator sports has been subject to extensive research, comprehensive studies mapping the intellectual structure and foundations of service quality in spectator sports are scant. The purpose of the current study was to synthesise and analyse the literature on service quality in spectator sports, and set a new research agenda by conducting a hybrid integrated review of the articles between 1996 and 2023. A total of 149 peer‐reviewed journal articles were analyzed. First, a bibliometric analysis provided the citation structure and evolution of publications, source impact, most cited articles, most productive authors and associated impact. Then, a framework‐based review including the articles' context, theories, type of study, service quality dimensions, spectator outcomes and limitations was conducted to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge and identify future research directions. This study contributes to the literature by uncovering the structure and intellectual base of existent research, identifying gaps and suggesting a research agenda to deepen the understanding and management of service quality in spectator sports. Foodservice firms are adopting varied technologies to enhance their operational efficiency and sustain their competitive position. The literature has discussed technological enhancements and their adoption in the foodservice industry. However, the intellectual structure of technology adoption in foodservice industry is not well defined. Therefore, the present research attempts to map the evolution, themes, and intellectual structure of technology adoption within the foodservice industry. The study uses extant literature published at the intersection of technology and foodservice research. The Scopus database is used to extract the information from published article. Using the defined keywords, the study performs a bibliometric and topic modeling analysis on the extracted data from 653 articles. The study maps the evolution and identifies prominent author(s), journal(s), and most cited work in the area. Furthermore, the study develops the intellectual structure of technology adoption in foodservice research. The intellectual structure comprises five topics, including the application of technologies, digital transformation, optimizing the supply chain, customer insights, and human-robot interaction. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is increasingly under pressure to tackle social and environmental challenges using innovative approaches that benefit both companies and society. This study presents a comprehensive overview of the relevant research on the intersection of CSR and innovation since 1996. Through a bibliometric analysis and literature review of 1362 articles, the study identifies three distinct stages in the evolution of this dual theme: an infancy stage (1996–2005), a rapid growth stage (2006–2015), and an explosive growth stage (2016‐present). By analyzing the studies, subfields, and theories in each stage, we identify the approaches and challenges in CSR innovation research. Notably, digital organizational culture, sensitivity analysis, and social enterprise have emerged as current major concerns, while sustainable development and analysis methods have emerged as challenges in addressing CSR innovation. This article reports on the intellectual structures and research trends in the field of Translation Studies (TS). Co-citation analysis and keyword analysis were conducted based on research articles in eleven prestigious TS journals indexed in Web of Science-Social Science Citation Index (WoS-SSCI) database from 2007 to 2021. In general, results indicate that TS has continued to flourish over the examined 15 years, evidenced by annual research outputs, number of publications per journal, countries/regions active in TS, as well as institutions and authors producing TS research. Meanwhile, the co-citation analysis not only unveils the intellectual structures that constitute TS, but also maps several relatively clear-cut research sub-areas within TS. Furthermore, a diachronic and comparative analysis of high-frequency keywords reveals that the thematic landscape of TS has undergone profound changes, with some early-dominant topics or concepts gradually losing their initial appeal; while a series of newly developed or borrowed concepts, methods and issues have gained increased popularity. The data confirms the multidisciplinary nature and continuous 'paradigm shifts' of TS. Based on these results, we discuss the achievements that TS has made as well as its drawbacks, before reflecting on the implications of the analysis for the direction of future research. This study aims to examine the evolution of collaboration skills in the field of education including publication trends, intellectual structure, and research topics. This study uses the bibliometric method which is part of the literature review, with descriptive data analysis. Analysis was carried out on 723 documents from the Scopus database that had been selected. The results show that the trend of document publications on collaboration skills began to increase at the beginning of the 2001s until reaching the highest number of publications in 2023 with 104 documents. In the early period (1986-2004), there were five schools of thought that became the foundation of its intellectual structure, namely the practice of collaboration, small group learning, learning theory and its implementation, software design, and engineering studies. Meanwhile, in the next period (2005-2023) there are learning theory and its implementation, collaborative learning, interprofessional education, cooperative learning, and computer-supported learning. If the schools of thought in the two periods are compared, it can be seen that there has been an evolution of the intellectual structure of collaboration skills. Evolution also occurred in the collaboration skills research topics, which can be seen from the keywords data that often appeared in the early period, namely active learning, communication skills, and cooperative learning. In the following period, it changed to collaboration, interprofessional education, and higher education. These research findings can provide information regarding the knowledge base of collaboration skills and related research topics that have been carried out.

Artificial intelligence (AI) plays an essential role in agricultural mapping. It reduces costs and time and increases efficiency in agricultural management activities, which improves the food industry. Agricultural mapping is necessary for resource management and requires technologies for farming challenges. The mapping in agricultural AI applications gives efficiency in mapping and its subsequent use in decision-making. This study analyses AI's current state in agricultural mapping through bibliometric indicators and a literature review to identify methods, agricultural resources, geomatic tools, mapping types, and their applications in agricultural management. The methodology begins with a bibliographic search in Scopus and the Web of Science (WoS). Subsequently, a bibliographic data analysis and literature review establish the scientific contribution, collaboration, AI methods, and trends. The United States (USA), Spain, and Italy are countries that produce and collaborate more in this area of knowledge. Of the studies, 76% use machine learning (ML) and 24% use deep learning (DL) for agricultural mapping applications. Prevailing algorithms such as Random Forest (RF), Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), and Support Vector Machines (SVMs) correlate mapping activities in agricultural management. In addition, AI contributes to agricultural mapping in activities associated with production, disease detection, crop classification, rural planning, forest dynamics, and irrigation system improvements. This study analyzes the existing literature on ISO 9001 to identify trends, key scholars, influential journals, significant papers, and this body of work's overall intellectual, social, and conceptual landscape. The study also proposes potential avenues for further research based on its findings. Bibliometric and content analysis were used to examine 929 relevant journal articles published between 1987 and 2023 and indexed by Scopus or Web of Science (WoS). Bibliometric analysis and visualization of results were conducted using the Bibliometrix R package and Biblioshiny application. This investigation unveils the intellectual, social, and conceptual structures within the literature concerning ISO 9001, shedding light on bibliographic features such as prominent scholars, leading journals, and noteworthy papers. Nine distinct research clusters were identified: integrated management systems; the effects of ISO 9001 implementation and certification; the diffusion of management system standards; ISO 9001:2015; the effective implementation of ISO 9001; levels and difficulties in management system integration; internalization of ISO 9001, withdrawal of ISO 9001 certification, and critical success factor of ISO 9001 implementation; ISO 9001 implementation and lessons learned; and diffusion of ISO 9001-based quality management systems. Key findings from each cluster were synthesized. This study employs various bibliometric analysis techniques to examine the intellectual structure of the International Journal of Information Security from 2007 to 2023. The aim is to identify the most cited journals, underlying research themes within the article corpus, and gradual changes in the research themes over time. "Lecture Notes on Computer Science" is the most referenced knowledge source. Underlying research themes were identified based on mapping the bibliographically coupled articles on to the knowledge areas from the Cyber Security Body of Knowledge using template analysis. Applied Cryptography is the most prominent knowledge area, followed by Privacy, and Network Security. Additionally, research on distributed systems security and Web & Mobile Security were emerging topics of interest. Qualitative and quantitative comparisons between open-access and regular articles suggested a few notable differences in author keywords but no differences in the number of citations received. Furthermore, regression analysis found a negative correlation between citation counts with the length of the article abstract and article title and a positive correlation with page count, being published in a special issue, and if at least the affiliation of one of the authors is different from others. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of online customer and hotel review research, aiming to provide insights into where each field comes from, stands now and ought to go in the future. In particular, this study examines how the existing research on online customer reviews can benefit future hotel review research. Data collected from Web-of-Science and Scopus created an expanded network of 797 core articles and 19,374 citations to identify intellectual structures, developing trends, and future research gaps. This study offers a visual overview of journals, institutions, countries, research themes and authors to assess the overall directions hotels can take. It underscores the necessity for rigorous and relevant research amid the proliferation of online reviews and emphasises the imperative for academia to bridge the gap between theoretical insights and practical applications within the dynamic tourism industry. Understanding the intellectual structure of geosciences is crucial for identifying emerging topics, which can guide future research and funding strategies. This study employs Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling and co-word network analysis to explore the intellectual landscape of highly cited geoscientific papers. Through empirical analysis, the study identifies 15 research areas, including climate change, geological processes, environmental impacts, and advancements in data analysis and remote sensing. These findings highlight the prominent role of big data analysis and machine learning methods across various geoscientific domains. Additionally, a notable gap has been identified in the integration of these computational methods with research on organic chemistry and formation processes, suggesting a potential direction for future exploration and innovation. These journals were selected based on the ERA2010 journal evaluation report and the Social Sciences Citation Index. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of highly cited papers in geosciences from 2013 to 2023, examining the temporal distribution of publications, the top 20 most cited papers, categorization by Web of Science categories (WC), journal distribution, and the relationship between open access and citation frequency. The analysis reveals significant growth in geoscientific research, particularly from 2016 onwards. Highly cited papers cover diverse and multidisciplinary topics, with leading journals identified as key dissemination platforms. The study also highlights the positive impact of open access on citation rates, emphasizing the importance of accessibility in enhancing research visibility and influence. The Journal of Special Educational Technology (JOSET) has been a leading journal in the domain of technology application in special education since 1978 (Journal Searches, 2023; Resurchify, 2022; SCI Journal, 2023; Scopus, 2022). In this bibliometric study, we examined JOSET's growth, publication trends, contributions, and international collaborations using descriptive, intellectual, conceptual, and social structure analyses. Documents (i.e., articles, editorials, errata, letters, and notes) published in JOSET from 1996 to 2021 were retrieved from the Scopus database and analysed using Biblioshiny embedded in R studio. Co-citation and co-word analyses identified five and two clusters, respectively. The analysis of the collaboration structure in JOSET reveals a positive relationship among authors, with over 75% of publications resulting from collaboration. The results further suggest that the journal continues to keep pace with global trends and contemporary issues, which can enhance its impact and readership and drive the growth of its annual publication number. Purpose: In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, remote working (RW) has emerged as a viable alternative to working employees in general and knowledge workers in particular. However, previous researchers have worked on the concept, development and facilitation of RW since the 1970s. Therefore, this study aims to review the existing literature on RW to ascertain the evolution of the concept in the business and management domain and provide for requisite arguments to extend the settings for future research agendas. Design/methodology/approach: The authors based this study on a bibliometric analysis of articles (n = 349) retrieved from the Web of Science database published between January 1990 and October 2021. The authors have used a bibliometric toolbox comprising performance analysis, science mapping and network analysis in various software namely, VOSviewer, Gephi and Biblioshiny package in R. Findings: The study's results accentuated important themes like work–life balance, strengthening digital infrastructure, performance and productivity, hybrid work models and well-being and clustered them under four heads with proposed future research questions. Research limitations/implications: The study is based on a single database; the authors have used an extensive but not exhaustive list of keywords to retrieve the articles. The analysis employs certain threshold limits while using the science mapping technique. Practical implications: This study would enable managers and academics to comprehensively understand remote work and offer logical implications to appreciate its nuances. Originality/value: This study is unique as it recognizes the intellectual structure in the existing literature on RW and traces the advancements and exponential growth post-COVID-19. This paper offers an overview of the usefulness of bibliographic analysis and conducts a retrospective review of the Human Resource Management Journal (HRMJ). The first part of the paper explains that bibliographic methods are not fully democratized in management and have just started their modest ascent in HRM. In the second part, the paper provides a retrospective review (1990–2022) of HRMJ articles (n = 855), which constitutes one of the two general objectives of bibliometric analysis. The results revealed that bibliometrics analysis significantly contributes to the HRM body of knowledge, especially given that this methodology is barely used in HRM research. Conversely, the retrospective review has identified trends in performance analysis, such as co-authorship internationalization in HRMJ articles that were unclear until 2011. We also highlighted the existence of six major clusters: HRM and organizational behavior (cluster 1), HR practices and policies (cluster 2), HRM as a strategy (cluster 3), HRM and performance (cluster 4), international HRM (cluster 5), and HRM roles and contingencies (cluster 6). Nowadays, education is a fundamental element to provide people with independence and knowledge. All citizens have the right of access to education, including students with special educational needs. Education must be inclusive for these students at primary, secondary and university levels. Therefore, the aim is to analyse the conceptual, intellectual and social structure in the field of inclusive education in the university environment through bibliometric techniques. The sample consisted of 605 documents extracted from the Web of Science and analysed using the bibliometrix software designed in R. The results show that there are two journals that are fundamental in the field and that co-citation networks are generated around them. Furthermore, the most productive authors will occupy central positions. Nonetheless, the papers that initiated the field will receive more citations. Finally, since 2010, a greater diversity of topics within inclusive education can be observed, such as teacher training in inclusive education or considering the curriculum. The number of tourism and hospitality academic journals has witnessed a considerable increase in the last decades, along with a remarkable evolution in their scientific production. This raises the call to systematically review and analyze the publications of such journals. To this end, the current work seeks to conduct a systematic review via exhaustive bibliometric analysis of the content of the International Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Systems (IJHTS) for the period from 2008 to 2022. Different bibliometric metrics were employed to analyze the publications of the IJHTS obtained from the journal's website and Scopus database. As the journal's stature and varied contributions to the field of hospitality and tourism management and systems have expanded, the quantity of publications, contributors, and citations of the IJHTS-related papers have significantly risen over the given period. Introduction and Objective: Reducing antagonism, interference and competition between minerals, increasing the availability of minerals, neutralizing anti-nutritional substances, increasing performance, improving health (immune system, nutritional activity), comfort and welfare of the animal. Improving the quality of livestock products (meat, milk, wool, etc.), reducing the destructive effect of minerals on vitamins in premixes and supplements, preserving the environment through reducing environmental pollution are some of the effects of using organic minerals. Chelates of organic materials (especially proteins) and metallic elements have a high rate of absorption in the intestine and provide the possibility of reducing the standard level of these elements in the diet and without affecting the production characteristics of livestock and poultry, they reduce environmental pollution caused by these elements. The aim of the current research was to investigate the subject trend of the field of chelate in order to identify hot and emerging issues and to examine the course of changes made in the intellectual structure of this field. Material and Methods: In this research, the intellectual structure of the field of chelate was studied using reference analysis. The current research community consists of all the research and review articles published by researchers during the years 1990-2022 in the journals indexed in the Web of Science database. The source of data collection was web of science database and the data analysis tool for drawing the intellectual structure of this field was Citespace software. Results: The analyzed data showed that words such as zinc, copper, pig, cattle, metabolism, and bioavailability are prominent words that reflect the hot spots of the chelation field in the investigated time period. Over the years of 2001-2008, the vocabulary such as growth performance, trace element, cobalt, dietary zinc, trace mineral, and 2010-2019, the words such as carcass trait, meat quality, nutrient digestibility, indicating as new and emerging topics. The main points and hot topics in the investigated periods in this research the terms such as zinc with 331 co-occurrences 331, performance 324 and copper 216, supplementation 180 were the main and hot points in the field of chelate. Among the keywords, three keywords of availability, ruminant and calve showed the longest duration of prosperity. These three issues have received the attention of the scientific community for 28, 19 and 16 years, respectively. Also, among the mentioned keywords, the keyword of "pig" with a citation rate of 13.28 has had the most citation rate in the period of 2000-2008 and has been the focus of the scientific community. In general, the hot and emerging spots of the chelate area can be shown in several stages. The first stage, the time period of 1990-2006, in which the emerging topics of this periods included nitrogen, barley, protein, sheep, and zinc; the second stage the time period of 2007-2016, the terms of plasma, and selenium and the third phase the time period of 2017-2022, which included health, muscle, beef, trace minerals and dietary supplementation. Conclusion: Therefore, according to the hot and emerging issues identified in this study, such a researches can be used as a road map for the country's macro-scientific planning and policies. The results of this research can be used by policy makers involved in research, professors, researchers, and organizations interested organizations in the field of animal husbandry.

As the world becomes increasingly urbanized, urban governance has attracted more academic attention. There have been some review articles on the state of urban governance research, as they are in the form of selected themes by the authors, it is difficult to gain a systematic understanding of the field.This review article conducts bibliometrics and domain knowledge map analysis of 1280 papers on urban governance. It produces a comprehensive picture of the intellectual structure, the evolution and trends of the research topics on urban governance. The findings show scholars from three disciplines covering three subfields of urban governance: urbanity, publicity and technology. USA, UK and mainland China are the main contributors to urban governance research. University College London, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Amsterdam, and the University of Sheffield are key players in international collaboration. However, the international research collaboration network is rather weak. There are nine highly researched topics: citizenship, urban monitoring and evaluation, global south development and challenges, urban mobility and sustainable development, institutional concept and challenge, technological change and governance transformation, metropolitan governance and innovation, urban politics and intergovernmental relations, and urban governance in China. Based on highlighted words in the research themes, urban governance research gradually moves from the connotation and theoretical basis to the subject and practice model of urban governance, and then to the influencing factors and evaluation of urban governance as well as the innovation and challenges of urban governance.

Background: Short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) are thought to play a key role in the microbe-gut-brain axis and involve in the pathogenesis of a variety of neurological diseases. This study aimed to identify research hotspots and evolution trends in SCFAs in central nervous diseases (CNS) and examine current research trends. Methods: The bibliometric analysis was performed using CiteSpace, and the results were visualized via network maps. Results: From 2002 to 2022, 480 publications in the database met the criteria. On the country level, China produced the highest number of publications, while the United States had the highest centrality. On the institutional level, University College Cork contributed to the most publications, and John F. Cryan from this university was the key researcher with considerable academic influence. The article, the role of short-chain fatty acids in microbiota-gut-brain, written by Boushra Dalile et al., in 2019 was the most cited article. Furthermore, the journal Nutrients had the maximum number of publications, while Plos One was the most cited journal. “Gut microbiome”, “SCFAs”, and “central nervous system” were the three most frequent keywords. Among them, SCFAs had the highest centrality. “Animal model” was the keyword with the highest burst strength, with the latest burst keywords being “social behavior”, “pathogenesis”, and “insulin sensitive”. In addition, the research topics on SCFAs in CNS diseases from 2002 to 2022 mainly focused on following aspects: SCFAs plays a key role in microbe-gut-brain crosstalk; The classification and definition of SCFAs in the field of CNS; Several CNS diseases that are closely related to SCFAs research; Mechanism and translational studies of SCFAs in the CNS diseases. And the hotspots over the past 5 years have gradually increased the attention to the therapeutic potential of SCFAs in the CNS diseases. Conclusion: The research of SCFAs in CNS diseases is attracting growing attention. However, there is a lack of cooperation between countries and institutions, and additional measures are required to promote cooperation. The current evidence for an association between SCFAs and CNS diseases is preliminary and more work is needed to pinpoint the precise mechanism. Moreover, large-scale clinical trials are needed in the future to define the therapeutic potential of SCFAs in CNS diseases.

The current research community consists of all the research and review articles published by researchers during the years 1990-2022 in the journals indexed in the Web of Science database. The source of data collection was web of science database and the data analysis tool for drawing the intellectual structure of this field was Citespace software. Results: The analyzed data showed that words such as zinc, copper, pig, cattle, metabolism, and bioavailability are prominent words that reflect the hot spots of the chelation field in the investigated time period. Over the years of 2001-2008, the vocabulary such as growth performance, trace element, cobalt, dietary zinc, trace mineral, and 2010-2019, the words such as carcass trait, meat quality, nutrient digestibility, indicating as new and emerging topics. The main points and hot topics in the investigated periods in this research the terms such as zinc with 331 co-occurrences 331, performance 324 and copper 216, supplementation 180 were the main and hot points in the field of chelate. Among the keywords, three keywords of availability, ruminant and calve showed the longest duration of prosperity. These three issues have received the attention of the scientific community for 28, 19 and 16 years, respectively. Also, among the mentioned keywords, the keyword of "pig" with a citation rate of 13.28 has had the most citation rate in the period of 2000-2008 and has been the focus of the scientific community. In general, the hot and emerging spots of the chelate area can be shown in several stages. The first stage, the time period of 1990-2006, in which the emerging topics of this periods included nitrogen, barley, protein, sheep, and zinc; the second stage the time period of 2007-2016, the terms of plasma, and selenium and the third phase the time period of 2017-2022, which included health, muscle, beef, trace minerals and dietary supplementation. Conclusion: Therefore, according to the hot and emerging issues identified in this study, such a researches can be used as a road map for the country's macro-scientific planning and policies. The results of this research can be used by policy makers involved in research, professors, researchers, and organizations interested organizations in the field of animal husbandry. This study aimed to unveil the intellectual structure and evaluate the relationship between personality traits and stress through bibliometric analysis. Through a systematic approach, a dataset including descriptions of personality traits and stress was downloaded from the Scopus database. Scientific bibliometric analyses, such as performance analysis, trend analysis, and science mapping, have been performed to extract the results. The findings revealed the intellectual structure (which includes a thematic map, recent trends, and thematic evolution) behind the relationship between stress and personality traits. This study aimed to provide a comprehensive review of the relationship between stress and personality traits, which professionals and researchers can use for further in-depth studies. This study also provides notes on recruiting the right candidates based on personality traits for recruiters after processing the scientific data. Since 1945, studies examining the relationship between personality traits and stress have been conducted, and this study is considered the first attempt to analyze the existing literature and provide a comprehensive guide on this relationship. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to delve into the dynamics of green dn sustainable finance (GSF), focusing on its intellectual structure, concepttual framework, and thematic evolution. The research aims to explore how modern finance theories integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles to drive future ecologically responsible investments. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research employees thematic mapping, co-citation relationships, and keywords analysis to conduct a comprehensive examination of GSF. These methodologies are utilized to distill essential concepts and identify primary themes that shape the GSF landscape. By involving experts from economics, environmental studies, and law, the study provides a multifaceted view of GSF. Findings: The study identifies three main narratives in GSF: (i) the seamless integration of ESG values, (ii) the increasing prominence of environmental finance, and (iii) the role of broad policies in guiding ecologically conscious finance. The findings indicate that ESG principles are crucial for future investments and highlight the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration in understanding GSF. Research Limitations: While the study offers a thorough analysis of GSF, certain areas could benefit from further academic exploration to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the field. Managerial Application: The research underscores the importance of integrating ESG values into financial decision-making processes. We aim to map the intellectual structure of destination image (DI) research and its theoretical development in two longitudinal periods: firstly, from 2001 and before the outbreak of Covid-19 and approval of vaccines (2001–2020); and secondly, during Covid-19 (2021–2023). This is the first article to use co-citation analysis that focuses solely on DI, identifying the main clusters, intellectual turning points, and citation burst papers in this field. Studying bibliometrics pre- and during Covid-19 can help to understand the impact of the pandemic on research output and the shift in research focus. This methodology expands tourism science by recognising the intrinsic nature of DI from an evaluative and relational point of view. Co-citation refers to the cited not the citing papers. The results in the first period show: 1) theoretical background on DI associated with branding from Destination Management Organisations (DMO); 2) the components of DI and their relationship with visitor behaviour; 3) how the Internet and User-Generated Content (UGC) have become the main sources to perceive DI. Whereas, in the second period, two main shifts have been identified: 1) the impact of the pandemic on tourism and perceived travel risk; 2) the emergence of a new approach focusing on the engagement of people with the destination through life experiences. The conclusions could help suppliers, DMOs, and policymakers to understand the components of DI before and during the pandemic, as well as provide valuable insights for the tourism industry to adapt to the new normal. This paper examines the role of ethics-related research in shaping the intellectual structure of hospitality-literature through a two-step method. The intellectual structure of the most-cited ethics-related references was revealed by co-citation analysis. Content analysis was made to reveal each cluster’s main themes. A database comprising 9664 references from seven hospitality journals, spanning 60 years, was analyzed. The analysis uncovered four thematic clusters, indicating that organizational citizenship behaviors and environmental-ethics are the predominant topics in the hospitality-ethics literature. The previous studies heavily focused on examining relationships and their practical implications. The study adopted a novel approach to bibliometric analysis that has never been used in hospitality ethics-reviews. Purpose : This response cautions against narrowly interpreting Hallinger's bibliometric findings on the intellectual structure and impact of Educational Administration Quarterly (EAQ). It highlights two main issues when using citations to measure influence. Response Argument : First, citations reflect a variety of motivations beyond acknowledging intellectual contribution, such as persuasion, allegiance-signaling, and preferential attachment. The sleeping beauty phenomenon and citation bias can further distort the interpretation of bibliometric findings. Second, setting thresholds for co-citation networks renders the periphery invisible; however, the periphery contains anomalies that could spur future paradigm shifts. Understanding a discipline's literature is essential to advance in that area. However, there has yet to be a study that summarises the current research on sport policy. Without a study of the topic, particularly one as extensive as the current one, where over 450 papers were evaluated, it is difficult for newcomers to the field and seasoned experts to have a firm grasp of all there is to know about it. Given this context, the current research is necessary and valuable because it is the first to provide insight into the effectiveness and intellectual framework of the sport policy literature selected by the International Journal of Sport Policy and Politics (IJSPP). This study used bibliometric techniques and indicators to analyse IJSPP publications from 2010 to 2022. The research data was collected from Scopus and analysed with bibliometrix and VOSviewer software. We found that the various components of the production (countries, institutions, and authors) in IJSPP work well in collaboration and over 82% of the research results from teamwork. The co-occurrence analysis of keywords comprises nine clusters, the co-citation analysis comprises four, and sport policy was the most significant cluster. Looking at niche topics in the future, sports diplomacy, social justice, elite sport policy, sport for development, and youth sport are just a few of the niche themes that have the potential to come up. This study will be helpful as a roadmap for researchers in different fields who are interested in such studies, as well as for editorial board members and those who work in sport policy and politics. Wikipedia has grown to be the biggest online encyclopedia in terms of comprehensiveness, reach and coverage. However, although different websites and social network platforms have received considerable academic attention, Wikipedia has largely gone unnoticed. In this study, we fill this research gap by investigating how Wikipedia is used in scholarly publications since its launch in 2001. More specifically, we review and analyze the intellectual structure of Wikipedia's scholarly publications based on 3790 Web of Science core collection documents written by 10,636 authors from 100 countries over two decades (2001–2021). Results show that the most influential outlets publishing Wikipedia research include journals such as Plos one, Nucleic Acids Research, the Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, the Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, IEEE Access, and Information Processing and Management. Results also show that the author collaboration network is very sparsely connected, indicating the absence of close collaboration among the authors in the field. Furthermore, results reveal that the Wikipedia research institutions' collaboration network reflects a North–South divide as very limited cooperation occurs between developed and developing countries' institutions. Finally, the multiple correspondence analysis applied to obtain the Wikipedia research conceptual map reveals the breadth, diversity, and intellectual thrust of the Wikipedia's scholarly publications. Our analysis has far-reaching implications for aspiring researchers interested in Wikipedia research as we retrospectively trace the evolution in research output over the last two decades, establish linkages between the authors and articles, and reveal trending topics/hotspots within the broad theme of Wikipedia research. Artificial intelligence (AI) plays an essential role in agricultural mapping. It reduces costs and time and increases efficiency in agricultural management activities, which improves the food industry. Agricultural mapping is necessary for resource management and requires technologies for farming challenges. The mapping in agricultural AI applications gives efficiency in mapping and its subsequent use in decision-making. This study analyses AI’s current state in agricultural mapping through bibliometric indicators and a literature review to identify methods, agricultural resources, geomatic tools, mapping types, and their applications in agricultural management. The methodology begins with a bibliographic search in Scopus and the Web of Science (WoS). Subsequently, a bibliographic data analysis and literature review establish the scientific contribution, collaboration, AI methods, and trends. The United States (USA), Spain, and Italy are countries that produce and collaborate more in this area of knowledge. Of the studies, 76% use machine learning (ML) and 24% use deep learning (DL) for agricultural mapping applications. Prevailing algorithms such as Random Forest (RF), Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), and Support Vector Machines (SVMs) correlate mapping activities in agricultural management. In addition, AI contributes to agricultural mapping in activities associated with production, disease detection, crop classification, rural planning, forest dynamics, and irrigation system improvements.

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of online customer and hotel review research, aiming to provide insights into where each field comes from, stands now and ought to go in the future. In particular, this study examines how the existing research on online customer reviews can benefit future hotel review research. Data collected from Web-of-Science and Scopus created an expanded network of 797 core articles and 19,374 citations to identify intellectual structures, developing trends, and future research gaps. This study offers a visual overview of journals, institutions, countries, research themes and authors to assess the overall directions hotels can take. It underscores the necessity for rigorous and relevant research amid the proliferation of online reviews and emphasises the imperative for academia to bridge the gap between theoretical insights and practical applications within the dynamic tourism industry. This study provides researchers and industry professionals with useful tools to understand and deal with the complexities of online reviews. It also highlights the important role these reviews play in shaping the future of tourism strategies.

Women's participation in science has been growing throughout history. However, a gender gap in their equity in participation requires pragmatic strategies and public policies that motivate women's opportunities in research. This study aims to analyse the scientific contribution of female Ecuadorian researchers through a diagnosis of the metrics and co-author's criteria for scientific publications to establish strategies oriented toward women's inclusion in Ecuador's research development. The methodology includes downloading and processing data for scientific publications indexed in scientific databases. A systematic review using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method. Metrics examination of authors and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as intellectual structure and cluster analysis. A survey applied to female researchers, statistical analysis and the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) method for proposing strategies. This study identified that 22 % of female Ecuadorian researchers participated in 18,604 documents (1973–2023) of the total scientific production in Ecuador from 1920 to 2023 (57,056 papers). The main research areas with women's participation are Covid-19, HEIs, health care, social networks, data science, statistics, e-learning, environment, and education. In the last five years, women's participation in scientific publications represents 67.81 % of the total and 7.8 % in STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). According to the female researchers' criterion, a crucial strategy must be to put value on women's scientific work, which has been endorsed in the different fields of science. Women scientists consider it essential that the authorities give them opportunities with determined inclusion and equal conditions for women's empowerment in science.

This research explores extant research on artificial intelligence (AI) and big data published in the premier Information Systems (IS) journals over a period of 26 years (1997–2022), and it uses the techniques of citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, and co-word analysis. Citation analysis results reveal IS as the most cited reference discipline, followed by general business, organization science, and marketing. Two major topical clusters have been identified — problem domain-specific AI (e.g., predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and text mining) and organizational-specific AI (e.g., big data capabilities, firm performance, agility, and strategy). Co-word analysis revealed a gradual shift of scholarly interest from problem-domain-specific AI toward organizational-specific AI. Using the citation data, the most influential (cited) authors, (cited) articles, journals, institutions, and countries are identified. Gaps in extant research and future research paths are discussed.

Intelligent textile clothing is one of the most popular topics in the field. In recent decades, rapid advances have been made in the area of intelligent textile clothing research, and the intellectual structure pertaining to this domain has significantly evolved. We used CiteSpace 6.2.R4, VOSviewer 1.6.19, to evaluate and visualize the results, analyzing articles, countries, regions, institutions, authors, journals, citations, and keywords. Both a macroscopic sketch and a microscopic characterization of the entire knowledge domain were realized. The aim of this paper is to utilize bibliometric and knowledge mapping theories to identify relevant research papers on the subject of smart textiles and clothing that have been published by the China Knowledge Network Web of Science (WOS) within the last decade. It is concluded that the main topics of smart textile and garment research can be divided into nine categories: wearable electronics, smart textiles, flexible antennas, energy storage, textile actuators, mechanical properties, asymmetric supercapacitors, carbon nanotubes, and fiber extrusion. In addition to the latter analysis, emerging trends and future research foci were predicted. The research aims to visualize and analyze the co-word network and thematic clusters of the intellectual structure in gas turbine thermal management during 1919-2020. The study is applied research in terms of the purpose, which is conducted with a descriptive approach, scientometrics indicators, techniques of co-word, and social network analysis. Data analysis and visualization of the co-word network were represented by VoS­Viewer, SPSS, UCINet, and python Software. The top scientific products in the last century were related to engineering subject area and published by the USA country. Seven main clusters were identified for the index keywords, and 20 main clusters were recognized for the author keywords in Scopus regarding the network structure and thematic clusters based on the co-occurrences. Moreover, 38 clusters were identified based on the hierarchical clusters. The clusters, namely heat flux calculations and radiation effects, thermal performance optimization, and operational considerations, have central and major positions in this field and have more potential to maintain and develop themselves in the future. The future of Research and Development (R&D) activities in the area will be focused on novel cycles, heat map development, and Techno-Economic and Risk Analysis (TERA) by utilizing systematic approaches for the identification of heat sinks and sources, fluid modeling, and environmental considerations. In addition, the emerging contributors in the field will be advanced manufacturing and material considerations.
