Treballs Finals de Grau d'Enginyeria Informàtica, Facultat de Matemàtiques, Universitat de Barcelona, Any: 2023, Director: Eloi Puertas i Prats, [en] This work focuses on the development of a file cleaner for MacOs systems using the Tauri framework. The first part of the work aims to analyze the advantages of using Tauri to standardize user interfaces and inter-process communication. A comparison is made between Tauri IPC and the previous standard (Electron), highlighting that Tauri’s IPC offers a different and more efficient approach to inter-process communication. It also emphasizes Tauri’s ability to standardize user interfaces and adapt to different execution environments. The history and evolution of technologies and methodologies for developing desktop applications will also be presented, starting with the libraries of classical languages, moving on to Electron and its conceptual similarities with Tauri, and ending with Tauri as a possible future standard for developing this type of applications. The second part of the work focuses on the development of the cleaner and its implementation using Tauri. The most relevant aspects of the development, from planning to implementation and testing, are detailed. The work concludes that using Tauri is an efficient and innovative option for application development, not only for MacOs but also for other operating systems. It offers a new approach to inter-process communication and standardization of user interfaces.

Treballs Finals de Grau d'Enginyeria Informàtica, Facultat de Matemàtiques, Universitat de Barcelona, Any: 2021, Director: Oliver Díaz i Jairo Luzón, [en] This project shows the design and development of an architecture based on Docker technology with the aim of studying its performance through metrics and being able to generate the visualization of the data in real time to extract possible conclusions. To test the tool, data on the global incidence of COVID-19 have been used. The architecture consists of different parts that configure it and for its implementation the most current and innovative tools have been used. For the data collection layer, a Kafka bus has been used in streaming based on an API (Application Programming Interface) of data, for data storage MongoDB has been used as a database, for data processing and its subsequent Visualization of the metrics, Prometheus has been used together with Grafana, allowing a User Friendly visualization through graphs, and finally, for the visualization of the data, MongoDB Charts has been used, a tool that has allowed the visualization of the data through heat maps. It can be concluded that the architecture has been designed in such a way that it is capable of managing data from any type of data source in a generic and fully modular and scalable way.

Treballs Finals de Grau en Estadística UB-UPC, Facultat d'Economia i Empresa (UB) i Facultat de Matemàtiques i Estadística (UPC), Curs: 2020-2021, Tutor: Salvador Torra Porras, En este trabajo se muestra un análisis detallado de la influencia de los datos abiertos en la sociedad y en la economía actual. Para recoger la información necesaria se han consultado fuentes de organizaciones e instituciones que trabajan con datos abiertos, de este modo se ha conocido la evolución, innovación y mejora de la economía que están causando. Este estudio tiene también como objetivo la implementación de dos aplicaciones de análisis y visualización de datos abiertos, concretamente de comercio exterior de España. En estas aplicaciones se reutilizan datos con ayuda de técnicas estadísticas para sacar de ellos información de valor. Cada una de las aplicaciones se realizan con una plataforma diferente (Shiny y Quick Sight), de esta manera se ha podido ver cuál de ellas da mejores resultados y cuál se usaría para llevar a cabo futuros proyectos.

Treballs Finals de Grau d'Enginyeria Informàtica, Facultat de Matemàtiques, Universitat de Barcelona, Any: 2020, Director: Oliver Díaz Montesdeoca, [en] This document studies the follow-up when developing an application program interface (API) for a bank client. The participation in the project is documented, from the analysis, the requirements gathering and the technical design and the functional design, to the development of the software, the unitary tests, and the deployment of the services. Specifically, prepaid cards are studied, with the analysis and the development of 16 API’s negotiated with the customer.
