This study is an ex-post facto study with a quantitative approach that aims to determine the effect of interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning achievement of eighth grade students of junior high school in Abepura. The population in this study was 1,107 students, while the minimum number of samples calculated by the Slovin formula was 294 students, and the sample in this study was 295 students who were taken using the proportional cluster random sampling technique. The technique used to collect data in this study is a test and non-test technique. The data in this study are quantitative data obtained from the results of filling out a mathematics learning interest questionnaire and mathematics learning achievement test. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis is simple linear regression analysis. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive influence of interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning achievement of eighth grade students of junior high school in Jayapura, Papua. This study aims to describe the application of the cooperative learning model type TGT (Teams Games Tournament) assisted by question cards on the sine and cosine rule material in class X. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research subjects were determined using purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this study were students of class X, totaling 35 students. Collecting data using observation, test and documentation techniques. The results of this study are the application of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) type cooperative learning model with the help of question cards on the sine and cosine rule material in class X has been implemented well. This is evidenced by the results of observations which show that the implementation of the learning process is carried out well. During the learning process on the sine and cosine rule material by applying the TGT type cooperative learning model, students showed a good response. This is indicated by the activities of students who are classified as active. In addition, the learning outcomes in the form of the average results of group activity sheets and the average individual tests on the sine and cosine rule material have met the minimum completeness criteria set by the school. The purpose of this study was to describe the teacher's perspective on history learning based on higher order thinking skills in secondary schools. This research is a qualitative research using case study method. The subjects in this study were 16 history teachers spread across several districts and cities in Papua Province. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Interactive Model which consisted of four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that history teachers in Papua Province had a good perspective on the application of history learning based on higher order thinking skills in secondary schools. This perspective includes knowledge related to higher order thinking skills, readiness in preparing history learning tools based on higher order thinking skills, readiness in applying history learning based on higher order thinking skills, and readiness in evaluating the results of history learning based on higher order thinking skills in secondary schools.
