Introduction: Anemia during pregnancy is a significant threat to health and safety of mothers and children. Objective: This study aimed to investigate factors associated with receiving iron supplements during pregnancy among women in Indonesia. Methods: This study used data from the Indonesian demographic and health survey 2017. The dataset used was individual data with a target population of women aged 15-49. A total of 14,564 women aged from 15 to 49 years were included in the analysis. A binary logistic regression model explored associations between the independent variables and the received iron supplements. Results: In this study, most interviewed women (n=12,939; 88.84%) received iron supplements during pregnancy. Factors found to be associated with receiving iron supplements during pregnancy included pregnant women aged >35 years (AOR=2.20; 95% CI=1.34-3.61), lived in the eastern and middle part of Indonesia (AOR=1.71; 95% CI=1.20-2.42; AOR=1.75; 95% CI=1.49-2.06), attended antenatal care consultations (AOR=1.40; 95% CI=1.18-1.65), had blood tests (AOR=1.52; 95% CI=1.32-1.76), knew the signs and symptoms of danger of pregnancy complications (AOR=1.56; 95% CI=1.29-1.89), had vaginal bleeding during pregnancy (AOR=1.25; 95% CI=1.03-1.50), had 1-2 total children ever born (AOR=1.18; 95% CI=1.00-1.40), and were exposed to information via the Internet (AOR=1.18; 95% CI=1.00-1.39) and newspapers or magazines (AOR=1.17; 95% CI=1.01-1.35). Conclusions: The study highlighted that despite free access to iron supplementation during pregnancy, some women failed to receive iron supplements during pregnancy. Also, women of reproductive age living in the eastern part of Indonesia, who did not have blood tests, were absent from attending antenatal care and did not know the signs and symptoms of dangerous pregnancy complications were among those who failed to receive iron supplements during pregnancy. Thus, identifying and promoting awareness of those at high risk of not receiving iron supplements should be a priority for the government and health workers in providing health services.

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang pendidikan Pra Nikah. Kegitan ini bermitra dengan masyarakat desa Terong Tawah kabupaten Lombok barat yang berjumlah 25 orang. Metode pelaksaan PkM adalah knowledge transfer melalui cermah, diskusi dan Tanya jawab. Langkah-langkah kegiatan 1) perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan, dan 3) evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra tentang pedidikan pra nikah pemahaman awal rata-rata (46,64) dengan kategori rendah, sedangkan pemahaman setelah dilakukan kegiatan pendidikan pranikah menjadi rata-rata (83,48) dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Rata-rata peningkatan pemahaman sebesar (36,84) Meskipun terjadi peningkatan pada pemahaman mitra masih perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan pempingan secara berkelanjutan. Premarital Education in Terong Tawah Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency Abstract The purpose of this service is to increase knowledge and understanding of pre-marital education. This activity is in partnership with the 25 people of Terong Tawah village, West Lombok district. The PkM implementation method is knowledge transfer through lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The activity steps are 1) planning, 2) implementation, and 3) evaluation. The results of the service activities showed that there was an increase in partners' understanding of pre-marital education on average (46.64) in the low category, while understanding after pre-marital education activities was on average (83.48) in the very high category. The average increase in understanding is (36.84). Although there is an increase in the understanding of partners, it is still necessary to carry out socialization and mentoring on an ongoing basis.

BACKGROUND: Diabetes mellitus (DM) Patient, especially the elderly in running a DM diet was often a major obstacle in the success of quality of life. Family caregiver support by using the miniature of three dimension (3D) magnetic diabetic food as a support for DM patient needed to help they DM diet. AIM: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of family caregiver support using miniature 3D magnetic diabetic food to was of dietary patterns of DM patients in elderly. METHODS: The study used was pre-experimental with a static-group comparison design. The research sample consisted of two groups, 36 DM patients in the treatment group and the control group, using a simple random sampling technique from the 90 elderly study populations. The variable was Family caregiver support using miniature magnetic 3D diabetic food and dietary patterns of DM patients in elderly. Data collect used 24-hour Food Recall Form questionnaire and Morisky Medication was Scale-8 Questionnaire . Data analysed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Man Whitney with alpha significance level

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis yang biasa disebut silent killer, dimana dampak penyakit tersebut adalah stroke, penyakit jantung bahkan kematian. Ada juga dampak psikologis yang terjadi pada pasien yang mengalami hipertensi adalah stress maka untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dapat diberikan terapi meditasi. Meditasi adalah cara untuk mengurangi respon stres dengan teknik relaksasi. Tujuaannya untuk mengetahui efektifitas tindakan meditasi terhadap perubahan tekanan darah. Penelitian tersebut menggunakan design non randomized control group pretest posttest design dengan 20 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Analisa data penelitian dengan teknik mann-whitney. Pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan darah sistolik pada uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa p = 0,004 (p> 0,05) dengan nilai Z- 2945 artinya bahwa Ha diterima atau ada perbedaan tekanan darah antara sebelum dan sesudah terapi meditasi terdapat perubahan yang signifikan. Tindakan meditasi efektif membantu tubuh dalam menguatkan merilekskan otot-otot, sistem peredaran darah dan sistem pernafasan, menenangkan dan relaksasi sehingga mengakibatkan adrenalin dalam tubuh menurun, detak jantung (HR) menurun serta otot-otot di dinding pembuluh darah mengendur (vasodilatasi) sehingga tekanan darah menurun.

Perceraian di NTB makin meningkat diakibatkan maraknya pernikahan dibawah umur (19 tahun kebawah), kurangnya pemahaman tentang hal-hal yang harus persiapkan sebelum melakukan pernikahan. kondisi ini menjadi dasar melakukan pengabdian dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang pernikahan islam melalui kegitan penyuluhan Pra Nikah dalam perspektif Islam. Mitra dalam kegitan ini adalah masyarakat desa Gelogor kabupaten Lombok Barat yang berjumlah 20 orang. Metode pelaksanaan dengan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Langkah-langkah kegitan perencanaa, tindakan, dan evalusi. Hasil pre test pemahaman mitra tentang pra nikah dalam Perspektif Islam mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 50 dan hasil posttest rata-rata 90 dengan rata-rata peningkatan 33%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan penyuluhan memberikan dampak pada peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan mitra. Meskipun terjadi peningkatan dan pemahaman mitra masih perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan pempingan secara berkelanjutan. Pre-Marriage Counseling is an Islamic Perspective as an Effort to Increase Knowledge About Islamic Marriage Divorce in NTB may increase due to the prevalence of underage marriages (19 years and under), lack of understanding of the things that must be prepared before marriage. This condition becomes the basis for doing service with the aim of increasing knowledge and understanding of Islamic marriage through Pre-Marriage counseling activities from an Islamic perspective. Partners in this activity are the Gelogor village community, West Lombok district, totaling 20 people. The implementation method is lecture, discussion, and question and answer. The steps of planning, action, and evaluation activities. The results of the pre-test of partners' understanding of premarital marriage in the Islamic perspective got an average score of 50 and the posttest results averaged 90 with an average increase of 33%. This shows that the extension activities have an impact on increasing the understanding and knowledge of partners. Although there is an increase and understanding of partners, it is still necessary to carry out socialization and mentoring on an ongoing basis.

Setiap manusia memiliki hak dan kedudukan yang sama dihadapan hukum, termasuk hak untuk menikah dimanapun dan kapanpun sepanjang tidak bertentangan dengan peraturan perundang-undangan. Sekarang ini perkawinan yang tidak dibatasi oleh batas negara adalah suatu yang biasa terjadi karena dunia sekarang sudah seperti desa kecil. Akan tetapi karena perkawinan bukan hanya urusan pribadi (privat) tetapi juga menjadi urusan negara (publik), sehingga negara berhak mengatur tata cara perkawinan warga negaranya. Terkadang pengaturan oleh negara bertentangan dengan prinsip-prinsip umum dalam hukum perdata internasional maupun hukum dari negara lain, karena setiap negara memiliki system hukum masing-masing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan, pendekatan konsep dan pendekatan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keabsahan perkawinan beda agama di luar wilayah hukum Indonesia masih menjadi pro dan kontra karena ada lebih dari satu undang-undang yang mengatur keabsahan perkawinan tersebut.

Introduction: Hypertension is a silent killer disease that, if not handled properly, will lead to dangerous complications for the patient. Health education through mobile phones can be an intervention used to improve health services and the management of hypertension in the community. This study aims to synthesise research findings on the effect of mobile phone health education interventions on hypertensive patients. Materials and methods: A systematic review. Search strategy was conducted on international journal databases, namely Scopus, PubMed, ProQuest, Web of Science, and Science Direct with the keywords 'health education', 'mobile phone' and 'hypertension'. Inclusion criteria using PICOS, namely Population: hypertensive patients, Intervention: health education using a mobile phone, Comparation: ordinary health education, Output: knowledge, attitudes, behaviour, Study design: trial method. The publication year 2017-2021. Results: There were 145 articles found in the search. Articles were identified and screened resulting in five complete articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results of this study found that health education interventions via mobile phones could increase patient knowledge about hypertension; improve self-management; monitor blood pressure; increase adherence to pharmacological treatment, a hypertensive diet, i.e.,low salt intake, vegetable and fruit intake, and physical activity; decrease blood pressure; and improve quality of life. Health education via mobile phones can also provide the latest information quickly to patients about controlling hypertension, antihypertensive drugs, and health services that can be utilised. Conclusion: Health education interventions via mobile phones have a significant positive effect in controlling hypertension in the community, but it is necessary to consider the patient's age, socioeconomic status, literacy conditions, and ability to use mobile phones to receive the health education that will be provided.

Perkawinan di bawah umur memang menarik untuk diteliti karna adanya pro dan kontra yang tidak dapat dihindari. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apa saja fackor yang menyebabkan terjadinya perkawinan dibawah umur dan dampak yang ditimbulkan. Masih banyaknya masyarakat yang melakukan pernikahan dibawah umur dikarenakan masyarakat tidak sadar dampak dari perkawinan di bawah umur yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat di Desa Aikdewa Lombok Timur. Dalam Undang-undang yang berlaku di Indonesia perkawinan dianggap sah dicatatkan oleh Negara jika sesuai dengan Undang-undang No1 tahun 1974 tentang perkawinan. adalah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh suami isteri adalah salah satu prinsip yang dianut dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan, yaitu mengenai kematangan atau kedewasaan usia kawin. Hal ini berarti bahwa calon mempelai harus sudah matang jiwa dan raganya sebelum perkawinan berlangsung, sehingga diharapkan dapat mewujudkan rumah tangga yang bahagia dan kekal tanpa berakhir dengan perceraian dan dampak lain yang lebih luas seperti meningkatnya angka kematian ibu saat hamil atau melahirkan lantaran usia masih belia. Perkawinan yang dilakukan atas dasar kesiapan mental, lahir dan batin oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan dijadikan barometer akan sempurnanya sebuah cita-cita antara suami istri dalam membangun mahligai rumah tangga.

Metacognitive ability is one of the important factors that affect students' mathematics learning achievement. This study investigated the profile of students' metacognitive ability. This study aimed to describe the level of students' metacognitive abilities in general and based on each aspect and indicators. The method of this research is descriptive quantitative by taking 1 class as sample from 4 classes population, with the sampling method used is random sampling. The instruments used in this research was Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) questionnaire. The results showed tha generally most of students have a good and good enough metacognition ability. It is also found that for each aspect most of students have good and good enough metacognition knowledge and metacognition skills. Meanwhile, based on its indicator for each aspect it is found that there were students with poor declarative knowledge (aspect of metacognition knowledge) and also there were students with poor evaluation skills (aspect of metacognition skills). For others indicators, it is found that students have good and good enough procedural knowledge, condisional knowledge, planning skills, and monitoring skills.Keywords: Metacognitive ability, metacognitive knowledge, metacognitive skills., Kemampuan metakognisi merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang profil kemampuan metakognitif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan metakognitif siswa baik secara umum mau pun berdasarkan setiap aspek dan indikator kemampuan metakognitif. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan mengambil 1 kelas sebagai sampel dari 4 kelas populasi, dengan metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum sebagian besar siswa memiliki kemampuan metakognisi pada kategori baik dan cukup baik. Sementara berdasarkan aspeknya, sebagian besar siswa memiliki pengetahuan metakognisi yang baik dan cukup baik, serta memiliki keterampilan metakognisi yang baik dan cukup baik. Ada pun pada indikator setiap aspek metakognisi ditemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan deklaratif (aspek pengetahuan metakognisi) pada kategori buruk dan beberapa siswa memiliki keterampilan evaluasi (aspek keterampilan metakognisi) pada kategori buruk. Sementara pada indikator pengetahuan prosedural, pengetahuan kondisional, keterampilan perencanaan, dan keterampilan pemantauan semua teridentifikasi pada kategori baik dan cukup baik.Kata kunci: Kemampuan metakognitif, keterampilan metakognitif, pengetahuan metakognitif.

Hypertension tends to be incurable and can only be controlled, including to prevent cardiovascular complications. The purpose of this study was to look at the relationship of age, gender, blood glucose level, blood cholesterol level, blood pressure, and medication behavior (consumption of drugs and health control) with the incidence of cardiovascular complications in patients with hypertension at the Public Health Center in Sikumana-Kupang City. This study used a cross sectional design with a sample of 87 hypertension patients. Data analysis used Rank Spearman's Test (α = 0.01). There were 50 respondents who had cardiovascular complications in the form of non- hemorrhagic stroke complications (NHS), complications of coronary artery deseases (CAD), NHS and CAD complications, and complications of anggina pectoris. Analysis of Rank Spearman indicated age had p = 0.404 and r = 0.091, gender had p = 0.161 and r = -0,152, blood glucose level had p = 0.000 and r = -0.390, blood cholesterol level had p = 0.272 and r = -0.119, blood pressure had p = 0.000 and r = +0.417, drug consumption had p = 0.000 and r = +0.439, and health control had p = 0.000 and r = +0.490. It was concluded that there were significant relationships between blood glucose levels, blood pressure, and medication behavior (which consists of the consumption of hypertension drugs and health control) with the incidence of cardiovascular complications in patients with hypertension at the Sikumana Public Health Center in Kupang City.

This research purpose to determine to analysys the existence of adat law in settlement of criminal cases(in gili trawangan tourism area). The type of research used is empirical, by using the method of statute approach, conceprual approach and sociological approach. The result arequalified and exist in traditional offense Gili Trawangan general public in the form of: a. theft, b. Decency, adultery/cohabiting and infidelity, c. Preservation of marine ecosystems. Forms of traditional institutions of society Gili Trawangan, law enforcement organ composed of judges/ elders, lang-lang (customs security), and front Gili youth. Settlement of criminal cases for customary offenses is based on the provisions of the customary law of the Gili Trawangan society.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan konsepsi hubungan hukum antara manusia dengan tanah, air, dan lingkungan alam menurut Hukum Agraria Nasional dan Hukum Islam. Kedua hukum ini memandang bahwa antara manusia dan tanah, air, dan lingkungan hidup tidak bisa dipisahkan, karenamanusia dalam hidupnya butuh tanah, air dan kekayaan alam untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Selain itu, manusia sesuai dengan hakekat penciptaannya sebagai khalifah fil-ardi mempunyai peran sebagai pemimpin di muka bumi, yakni mengatur dan melindungi tanah, air danlingkungan alam seisinya.

Various efforts of hypertension complications prevention have been carried out properly but the prevalence of hypertensive complications in NTT Province is still very high. The study aimed to determine the effect of patient behavior and family health companion role on the incidence of hypertension complications. The study was carried out in the work area of Sikumana Health Center in Kupang City with a case-control design. A total of 40 case samples and 40 control samples were taken by simple-random sampling. Data were analyzed by bivariate (simple logistic-regression) and multivariate (multiple-logistic regression), with significant values ​​of α 1. The results showed that 70% of patients experienced Non-Hemorrhagic Stroke (SNH) complications and 30% experienced complications of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). The results of the knowledge factor analysis (α=0.000, OR=4.775), attitude (α=0.998, OR=1.876), practice (α=0.000, OR=18.599), family health officer (α=0.000, OR=15.13) and simultaneously the practices of the patient (α=0.000, OR=17.233). There was a significant influence on patient knowledge, patient practices, and family health companion role on the incidence of hypertensive complications. The most influential variable was the patient's practices. Patients who had poor behavior had a risk of 17.233 times greater of complications of hypertension. Namun prevalensi komplikasi hipertensi di NTT masih sangat tinggi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku pasien dan peran pendamping kesehatan keluarga pada kejadian komplikasi hipertensi. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sikumana Kota Kupang dengan desain kasus-kontrol. Sebanyak 40 sampel kasus dan 40 sampel kontrol, diambil secara simple-random-sampling. Data dianalisis bivariat (regresi-logistic-sederhana) dan multivairiat (regresi-logistic-berganda), dengan nilai signifikan α1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 70% pasien mengalami komplikasi Stroke Non Haemoragik (SNH) dan 30% mengalami komplikasi Coronary Artery Diseases (CAD). Hasil analisis faktor pengetahuan (α=0,000, OR=4,775), sikap (α=0,998, OR=1876), tindakan (α=0,000, OR=18,599), peran pendamping kesehatan keluarga (α=0,000, OR=15,13), dan secara simultan tindakan pasien (α=0,000, OR=17,233). Ada pengaruh signifikan antara pengetahuan pasien, praktek/tindakan pasien, dan peran pendamping kesehatan keluarga terhadap kejadian komplikasi hipertensi. Variabel yang paling berpengaruh adalah praktek/tindakan pasien. Pasien yang memiliki praktek/tindakan kurang baik memiliki risiko 17,233 kali lebih besar terjadi komplikasi hipertensi. Filariasis is an infectious disease caused by filarial worms and transmitted by mosquitoes. Efforts to suppress the case of filariasis are eliminated through the administration of filariasis Mass Drug Prevention (MDP). The filariasis MDP program in Ende Regency has been conducted since 2011-2015, and the first phase evaluation was conducted in 2017. This study aims to find a picture of community knowledge about the filariasis elimination program in Ende Regency, to find a picture of behavioral change and environmental management after the implementation of the filariasis elimination program. This research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. There were 20 informants consisting of 10 sufferers, 5 patients' families, 3 health workers, and 2 village officials. The results showed that almost all informants had known the Filariasis MDP program and had taken the filariasis drug. Most informants still had behaviors that were at risk of filariasis. The environment where the informant lives did not have a risk for filarial worm breeding. The conclusion of the research shows that the success in handling and preventing filariasis in Detusuko and Welamosa villages are supported by the community's understanding of the MDP program and consuming filariasis medicine, vanishing filarial mosquito breeding places. However, it was still found that community behavior has not changed which are activities outside the home at night, not using long-sleeved clothes and the habit of hanging dirty clothes., Filariasis merupakan penyakit menular disebabkan cacing filaria dan ditularkan nyamuk. Upaya menekan kasus filariasis dilakukan program eliminasi melalui pemberian obat massal pencegahan (POMP) filariasis. Program POMP filariasis di Kabupaten Ende telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2011-2015 dan evaluasi tahap pertama dilaksanakan pada tahun 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat tentang program eliminasi filariasis di Kabupaten Ende, mengetahui gambaran perubahan perilaku dan pengelolaan lingkungan setelah pelaksanaan program eliminasi filariasis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografis. Jumlah informan sebanyak 20 orang yang terdiri dari 10 orang penderita, 5 orang keluarga pasien, 3 orang tenaga kesehatan dan 2 aparat desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir semua informan telah mengetahui program POPM Filariasis dan telah mengkonsumsi obat filariasis. Sebagian besar informan masih memiliki perilaku yang beresiko terjadinya filariasis. Lingkungan tempat tinggal informan tidak memiliki risiko untuk perindukan cacing filaria. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Keberhasilan penanganan dan pencegahan penyakit filariasis p ada desa Detusuko dan Welamosa didukung oleh pemahaman masyarakat tentang program POPM dan telah mengkonsumsi obat filariasis, hilangnya tempat perindukan nyamuk filaria akan tetapi masih ditemukan perilaku masyarakat yang belum berubah yaitu aktivitas diluar rumah pada malam hari, tidak menggunakan pakaian lengan panjang, dan kebiasaan menggantung pakaian kotor.

Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI) is the major cause of morbidity and mortality on toddlers. Based on Florence Nightingale theory, URTI on toddlers can be influenced by four environmental factors, that are fresh air needs, personal hygiene, home lighting, and nutrition. This study was aimed to investigate factors which correlate with URTI ncidence on toddlers based on Florence Nightingale theory, at Puskesmas Alak, Kota Kupang, NTT. Design used was explanatory research with cross sectional approach. Total sampel was 130 respondents, taken according to inclusion criteria. The independent variabels were fresh air needs, personal hygiene, home lighting, and nutrition. The dependent variabel was URTI incidence on the toddlers. Data were thenanalyzed using Spearman’s rho test with level of significance of ≤ 0,01. Results showed that fresh air needs (p=0,000), personal hygiene (p=0,000), and nutrition (p=0,000) has correlate with URTI incidence on the toddlers. While home lighting has no correlation (p=0,266). It can be concluded that fresh air needs, personal hygiene, and nutrition did have significant correlation with URTI incidence on the toddlers. Nurses should provide health education about URTI care on toddlers, especially according to Florence Nightingale theory

Like a pesantren in a rural area with minimal facilities and infrastructure, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and not burdening the cost of education to santrinya, of course, required a leader figure to initiate entrepreneurship to develop the empowerment of boarding. This study aims to determine the empowerment of pesantren through entrepreneurship developed. This research is qualitative descriptive research with method of data settlement through interview, observation involve, and documentation study. The results show the form of entrepreneurship developed in Pesantren Darul Khair Each in the form of carpentry business, cattle farming, plantation, rice fields and pesantren co-operatives. All business assets and business results to the foundation periodically every month. Allotment is used for the financial costs of boarding schools such as the cost of building and dormitory, electricity payment, air taps, telephone every month, the welfare of its managers such as teacher salaries, the cost of education of three teachers in Java, assisting extracurricular activities of santri and daily consumption of santri hostel.Keywords: economy, entrepreneurship, pesantren.

Hypertension is a silent killer disease that, if not handled properly, will lead to dangerous complications for the patient. Health education through mobile phones can be an intervention used to improve health services and the management of hypertension in the community. This study aims to synthesise research findings on the effect of mobile phone health education interventions on hypertensive patients.A systematic review. Search strategy was conducted on international journal databases, namely Scopus, PubMed, ProQuest, Web of Science, and Science Direct with the keywords 'health education', 'mobile phone' and 'hypertension'. Inclusion criteria using PICOS, namely Population: hypertensive patients, Intervention: health education using a mobile phone, Comparation: ordinary health education, Output: knowledge, attitudes, behaviour, Study design: trial method. The publication year 2017-2021.There were 145 articles found in the search. Articles were identified and screened resulting in five complete articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results of this study found that health education interventions via mobile phones could increase patient knowledge about hypertension; improve self-management; monitor blood pressure; increase adherence to pharmacological treatment, a hypertensive diet, i.e.,low salt intake, vegetable and fruit intake, and physical activity; decrease blood pressure; and improve quality of life. Health education via mobile phones can also provide the latest information quickly to patients about controlling hypertension, antihypertensive drugs, and health services that can be utilised.Health education interventions via mobile phones have a significant positive effect in controlling hypertension in the community, but it is necessary to consider the patient's age, socioeconomic status, literacy conditions, and ability to use mobile phones to receive the health education that will be provided.
