In the course of archaeological excavations of the north section of the imperial palace in Sirmium (locality 85), conducted in 2015, as many as 39 lead seals were found to the south of column IV of the polygonal structure encountered in 2014. Nine specimens of imperial seals with a representation of four busts, i.e. images of the tetrarchs, are particularly interesting in this group. These seals appear in three iconographic variants (a-c) depending on whether the four busts are positioned in two rows or in a single row and whether they are of identical size. The discovery of imperial lead seals with the busts of tetrarchs bears witness to the importance of Sirmium at the time of the tetrarchy, not only as an army base for Diocletian’s wars against the Sarmatians, but also as a commercial centre where the deliveries of various products also arrived. The aim of the research is to present Shop Floor Management (SFM) convenient for supporting measurement and management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). SFM is a closed loop process to observe the problems on site and supports the consistent development of processes and procedures including problem solving to attack sporadic and chronicle issues. The benefit of SFM relies not on the presence of tools but rather on their consistent, process-driven application. SFM is a structured approach with the aim to link the management level with operative processes and employees where visualization takes an important role. This research helps in understanding practical usage of SFM and analysis of KPIs that could be implemented. The empirical part of the study is based on Research from 10 shop floors in the same industry based in Central and Eastern Europe in order to investigate correlations between KPI measurement and scores on the level of implementation and Managerial responsibility.

Background/Aim. The debate about diagnostic criteria for differences and similiraties as psychosocial characteristics of pathological Internet users and Internet and substance addicts still continued. The aim of the study was to investigate the differences between empathy and psychopathy among subjects with pathological Internet use (PIU) and opiate dependence. Methods. The cross sectional study was performed at the Methadone Center of the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, Novi Sad, Serbia, with 40 consecutively recruited patients with opiate dependence (OD group) and compared to age matched (25 to 35 years) random online recruited subjects (n = 80). They were divided into two groups: 40 subjects with PIU and 40 controls according to cut-off score of 39 or less obtained at Questionnaire regarding the Internet use assessment. The questionnaires for sociodemographic data, Emotion Specific Empathy (EMI) questionnaire and Psychopathy Assessment Questionnaire (PAQ) were applied. Descriptive statistics, _2-tests, ANOVA and MANOVA analysis were used for data assessment which was performed by the SPSS software (version 20.0) and p < 0.05 was applied. Results. There were more differences among psychopathy dimensions than empathy dimensions among PIU subjects, controls and heroin dependent subjects. The PIU group demonstrated the lowest psychopathy dimensions except for the lifestyle dimension which was higher than in the control group. On the contrary, the PIU group showed the highest empathy, with two dimensions as the most prominent ones: empathy with negative emotions and emotional reactions provoked by empathy. Conclusion. The PIU subjects are characterized by high empathy and low psychopathy. These findings suggest that it would be useful to consider seriously the dimensions of empathy and psychopathy when developing strategies to prevent PIU and planning educational programs for persons with problems related to the Internet overuse disorder.

The aim of this paper is to explore implementation of measures and existing obstacles from the trade facilitation (TF) domain in the CEFTA 2006 countries. Besides the overall importance and the role of the TF for global economy, as every region has its own specificities, authors of this paper have tried to give an overview from the micro aspect, especially important for small and medium-sized enterprises in the export/import sector. These enterprises are faced with many barriers when participating in the trade process, mostly connected with the lack of customs clearance efficacy (efficiency) and with less effective work of other border agencies. The lack of procedures and their inconsistency in implementation, duplication of procedures, requesting unnecessary documents and their mutual non-recognition, as well as deliberate extension of the process duration continuously cause the loss of goods quality and quantity, and decrease the motivation for dealing with trade. It is obvious that the period of new chances for the world trade has arrived after the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) had been adopted in 2013, as the first agreement since the creation of the WTO, and the first one after almost two decades of its work. But how it really works for an individual trade enterprise, especially when it is situated in the CEFTA 2006 region, will be illustrated in this paper in the example of the trade facilitation issue in auto-parts and beverages sectors.

In 2014, a group of silver objects was sold with the accompanying data “from Serbia, from the area of Mačvanska Mitrovica”, which, based on their composition, belonged to a hoard of the Early Roman period. The hoard of silver objects contains a total of 21 pieces that can be divided into 10 different types: emblemata, belt plates, tubuli, torques, wire jewellery - a bracelet and rings, necklaces of the chain type, rings, pendants of lunula, rhomboidal and omega shape, bracelet and rings with pendants in the form of miniature axes. The composition of the silver objects in the Mačvanska Mitrovica (?) hoard show surprising similarities with the rich hoards of silver jewellery of Bare, Tekija and the find from Radenković-Crkvine and also with the distant hoard from Oltenia in the site of Rovinari (once Poiana, county Gorj). Therefore, we have named this group the Tekija - Bare hoards horizon, after two well-known most representative hoard-contents and their position in the middle of this geographical region. The last denarii from the Tekija and Bare hoards where minted at the end of AD 81, which allows the conclusion that these hoards, found near the military camps of Transdierna and Viminacium, were probably deposited in the years after AD 81, during the restless period of Roman-Dacian conflicts. In the Mačvanska Mitrovica (?) hoard and the Radenković-Crkvine find the monetary part did not exist, so the time of their depositing remains open. During the archaeological excavations performed in 1969/70 at the northern necropolis of Sirmium, around the Basilica of St Synerotes, a few sepulchral slabs with inscriptions and symbols of Early Christian character were discovered. The inscription on one slab, which reads: [±1 ? M]arturiu/[s p]incerna /[C]onstanti/[I]nperatori/[s(!)qui] vixsit(!) an/n[is] nonag/inta una cu/m matron/a sua Man/[- - -, shows that this is a tombstone of a certain Marturius, the cup-bearer of Constantius II. This emperor spent many months in Sirmium during 351-352 and 357-359, celebrating twice in this city the triumph over Quadi and Sarmatae, and intensifying not only the building of its infrastructure, but also of the sacral structures. As a fervent Christian of Arian orientation, he organised four ecclesiastical synods in Sirmium. On another slab, an inscription in Greek letters is written around a Christogram in a double circle, while on the third slab, decorated with floral motifs around a Christogram, the inscription is partly preserved. These tombstones are located south of the southern portico of Basilica of St Synerotes. INTRODUCTION Myoelectric hands progressed from single grip hands (traditional myoelectric devices (TH)) to be multi-grip hands (MGH) which are hypothesized to bring more degrees of freedom, greater range of motion and improved grasping capabilities1,2. During the campaign which took place in 1983 at the site of Pontes - Trajan’s Bridge near Kostol, in the layer between a house from the second half of the 9th century and a house from the 11th century, a treasury consisting of medieval iron tools placed around, or inserted into, a bronze flagon was discovered in a shallow pit. The whole find was named Treasury B. At first, the flagon itself was dated into the period between the 6th and the 8th centuries, however, we have recently dated it into the 6th-7th century. The inscription on the neck of the vessel is a paraphrase of the 3rd verse from the 29th Psalm of David. This is proof that the flagon was a liturgical vessel. In this text we are trying to show that this flagon was analogous to the specimen from the treasury from Vrap in Albania, whose deposition during the third part of the 7th century is connected with the activity of Bulgarian Khan Kuber. The Byzantine vessel was a part of treasure plundered from the Avars, and the production of this flagon, just as of that one from Pontes, can be dated into the period between the 6th century and the first half or the middle of the 7th century. In the course of archaeological excavations carried out in 2012 and 2013, in the northwestern section of the palatial complex in Sirmium (locality 85), many fragments of porphyry and marble sculptures were discovered. Worth mentioning among the marble sculptures is a female head with a lunular diadem that had, most probably, been made during the Antonine period. The head was used as spolia incorporated in the medieval wall. It was a fragment of a statue of some goddess, possibly Juno, Minerva or the deified empress Faustina the Younger, and erected in the area of the palatial complex during the Late Antique period. A fragmentary marble inscription, preserved in the Museum of Srem in Sremska Mitrovica, seems to mention the basilica of St. Anastasia: [In dom]o beati[ssimae dominae nost]re Anast[asiae. This monument provides epigraphic evidence on the cult place of the martyr in Sirmium, already recorded by written sources. According to the Passion of St. Demetrius, the church of St. Anastasia had already existed in Sirmium when Leontius, praetorian prefect of Illyricum, started the construction of the basilica of St. Demetrius. Although the find spot of the plate is not known, the finds of Ostrogothic coins next to the northern city wall imply that the basilica of St. Anastasia was located in that zone of the city, as the Ostrogoths highly respected the Martyr. It is possible that it should be identified with a martyrium leaning against the northern city wall that had been unearthed and then destroyed at the end of the 19th century.

L’analyse des necropoles situee a l’interieur et autour de la basilique urbaine, sur les sites 59, 46 et 47 de Sirmium, ou 28 enterrements ont ete enregistres jusqu’a aujourd’hui, a demontre qu’il s’agissait de tombes de construction identique contenant un mobilier funeraires modeste mais homogene (peignes en os tripartites a deux rangees de dents, « petites » fibules ansees en arbalete en fer, « grandes » boucles ovales en fer, couteaux en fer et fragments de recipients en fin verre de couleur verte). En l’occurrence, dans la basilique meme ont ete decouverts deux sarcophages miniatures et 13 tombes en briques. Ces petits sarcophages, ainsi que certaines tombes miniatures, contenaient des ossements d’individus adultes, ce qui incite a conclure que les depouilles de defunts enterres dans les necropoles de Sirmium, situees hors de l’enceinte de la ville, ont ete transportees a quelque moment dans la necropole nouvellement formee intra muros. La creation de cette necropole est liee a l’erection de la basilique a l’interieur de l’enceinte de la ville en 426. La necropole etait en fonction jusqu’a la destruction hunnique de la ville en 441. Transnational companies had become the most important players in global business having significant impact on international trade. In the paper we will show the main changes and rising importance of TNCs` foreign affiliates in world trade, referred to as the process of the transnationalization. Even if the history of TNCs is a century and a half long, their importance is particularly significant in the last few decades. One of the important tendencies is rising intra-company trade, the trade between parent companies and their foreign affiliates, but also the process of phasing out the production and moving of some of the production phases abroad even outside the TNC, known as off shoring. Even if the TNCs are important sources of private capital true foreign direct investments we have to notice rising importance of the state-owned TNCs, mostly from developing and transnational economies. TNCs are very important global actors but are particularly important for some national economies where their affiliates have significant influence on national turnover. In the final segment of the paper we will analyse using quantitative methods the interdependence of share of TNC in national economy and imports content of exports. For this purpose statistical methods of Correlation and Linear Regression were used. Our analysis is based on the data for 9 OECD countries and we can expect a high level of positive association between these two variables, especially in the economies where the activity of TNCs is strong.

The development of international trade was very impressive in the second half of 20th century. But even with these great development opportunities that growth of international trade can bring the small number of developed economies had succeeded to ripe benefits from it in order to develop their economies and reduce poverty. Even with the establishment of the World Trade Organization it was apparent that developing countries need assistance in order to integrate fully in international trade system. The Aid for Trade, which is a part of Official Development Assistance focusing on trade, has an aim to help developing countries build their trade capacity and the transport infrastructure so they can use trade as a powerful engine for economic growth. This paper set out to describe this new programme of trade aid developed under the auspices of WTO, as a multilateral project, to point out the readiness of donor countries and aims of beneficiary countries. In the east and northwest necropoles of Sirmium were discovered painted tombs which were not published until now. Painting in them is from the 4th century. The grave next to the north-west wall of basilica of St. Iraeneus (east necropolis) was painted with tied garlands and stem, and partly saved frescoes from the tomb around the basilica of St. Sineros (north-west necropolis) point to the conclusion that this is a funeral procession, the scene which is represented in its entirety in the tomb in neighboring Beska. These three tombs belong to the pagan population of Sirmium and its vicinity. On the west wall of the tomb in Mike Antica Street (periphery of the east necropolis) is represented the motif of scales with fillings, while on its south and north wall are represented the episodes from Jonah’s cycle. Painting in the tomb shows that the buried person was a Christian. Of Christian character is also the burial in the tomb from the village Calma, not far from Sirmium. On its longitudinal walls is schematically represented the railing, made of parts between which there were the columns carrying the herms, and which has the symbolical meaning of the “railing of Paradise”. In the hinterland of the middle Adriatic, at the sites Ivosevci (Burnum) and Podgradje (Asseria), were found the knee-like fibulae made of silver, on which were hanged the chains made of silver twisted wire with pendants. Silver fibulae of same type, also with hanged silver chains, were found in the region of south-east Dalmatia, at the sites Komini (Municipium S?) and Kolovrat. These finds confirmed the already existing thesis about the migration of the part of population from middle Dalmatia into its south-east regions around Komini and Kolovrat. The anlysis of jewelry from that region confirmed also the existence of an older ethnic component, maybe of Celtic origin, whose style of decorations is close to that one practiced by the inhabitants of the upper and middle part of Drina Valley. The specific local forms of decorations and jewelry have their origin in the transformation of the long-lasting influences from the Greek cultural circle and they bear witness to the conservatism of this population.

Four handles of ceramic paterae decorated in relief (nos. 1-4) and one fragmented object for which it has been assumed on the basis of its shape way of manufacture and iconographic design to be also the patera handle (no. 5), have been found in Sirmium. The decoration on handles 1 and 2 was executed under the influence of the ornamental design of silver paterae from Gaul, while the motif of the goddesses' busts on handles 3 and 4 is the local adaptation of existing ornamental motifs. The busts of female deities also embellish two handles from Singidunum (nos. 6 and 7) and one handle from Viminacium (no. 8). The multitude of such decorated handles of the ceramic paterae from the sites in Pannonia and the neighboring regions could be related to the expansion of the cult of Silvanus.

The General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) is one of the World Trade Organization's most important agreements. This accord is the first and only set of multilateral rules covering international trade in services. It is a framework for international trade in services and a legal basis for resolving conflicting national interests. For the past two decades, trade in services has grown faster than merchandise trade. Currently, they represent more than two thirds of the World Gross Domestic Product. As the term services covers a wide range of intangible and heterogeneous products and activities, there has been an increasing demand for detailed, relevant and internationally comparable statistical information on trade in services. In the last ten years, the share of transportation services in international trade in commercial services was steady and amounted to about one quarter.

The foot of gilt bronze fibula was discovered in 2005 during archaeological investigations of locality 85 in Sirmium, that is assumed to have been the remains of the imperial palace. Ornament on the foot enclosed within rectangular field is executed in the niello technique. End of the foot is bent at the right angle and the Christogram is engraved on it with Greek letters alpha and omega engraved above its side arm. The preserved part of fibula makes possible reconstruction of its appearance and attribution to the group of massive bronze crossbow fibulae, which were produced in the second half of the 4th century and characterized by decoration consisting of gilding, niello, Christogram motif and/or the busts of young men in medallions.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Serbia, and at least 14,000-16,000 patients experience moderate-to-severe cancer pain every year. Cancer pain relief has been impeded by inadequate availability of opioid analgesics and barriers to their accessibility. In 2006, a Serbian oncologist was selected as an International Pain Policy Fellow. The fellow identified barriers to opioid availability in Serbia and implemented an action plan to address the unavailability of oral morphine, attitudinal and knowledge barriers about opioids, and barriers in the national opioid control policy, in collaboration with the government, local partners, and international experts, including those from the World Health Organization. Collaborative efforts resulted in availability of immediate-release oral morphine, registration of controlled-release hydromorphone, and reimbursement of oral methadone for cancer pain; numerous educational activities aimed at changing inadequate knowledge and negative attitudes toward opioids; recognition of opioids as essential medicines for palliative care in a new National Palliative Care Strategy; and recognition of the medical use of opioids as psychoactive-controlled substances for the relief of pain included in a new national law on psychoactive-controlled substances, and the development of recommendations for updating regulations on prescribing and dispensing opioids. An increase in opioid consumption at the institutional and national levels also was observed. This article outlines a multifaceted approach to improving access to strong opioids for cancer pain management and palliative care in a middle-income country and offers a potential road map to success.

Synthesis of high-performance anticorrosive coatings obtained from alkyd resins (ARs) based on waste poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) glycolyzates is presented. PET glycolyzates, synthesized by catalytic depolymerization with trimethylolpropane (TMP) and dipropylene glycol (DPG), were used as replacement of part of the polyhydroxylic component during the ARs synthesis. The obtained glycolyzates and ARs were analyzed using FT-IR and 1HNMR spectroscopy and acid, iodine, and hydroxyl value were determined. Thickness, adhesion, swelling, corrosion, spraying and layering of the synthesized ARs, as well as alkyd coating film were determined in accordance with SRPS EN ISO standards. ARs were produced in high yields and FT-IR and 1NMR analysis results confirmed assumed structures. All synthesized ARs show good elasticity, flexibility, adhesion and the gloss values are greater than 85 %, and the alkyd coating films based on AR1 and AR3 showed best corrosion results. The most effective dryer catalyst combination was 0.5 wt.% Ca, 0.03 wt.%, Co and 0.45 wt.% Zr. U radu je prikazana sinteza visokoefikasnih antikorozivnih premaza dobijenih iz alkidnih smola (AR) baziranih na proizvodima glikolize iz otpadnog poli(etilen tereftalata) (PET). Glikolizati PET-a dobijeni postupkom katalitičke depolimerizacije uz pomoć trimetilolpropana (TMP) i dipropilen glikola (DPG), su korišćeni kao zamena polihidroksilne komponente tokom sinteze AR smola. Sintetisani glikolizati i AR smole okarakterisane su primenom FT-IR i 1HNMR spektroskopije i određena im je vrednost kiselinskog, jodnog i hidroksilnog broja. Sintetisanim AR smolama, kao i antikorozionim alkidnim premazima određena su sledeća svojstva: debljina suvog filma, adhezivnost, bubrenje, korozivnost, prskanje i odslojavanje prema SRPS EN ISO standardima. Alkidne smole su dobijene u visokom prinosu i pokazale su dobra fizičko-mehanička svojstva, adhezivnost i sjaj premaza (≤85 %), dok su antikorozioni alkidni premazi na bazi AR1 i AR3 pokazali najbolje rezultate otpornosti na koroziju. Najefikasnija kombinacija katalizatora sušenja je 0.5 mas.% Ca, 0.03 mas.%, Co i 0.45 mas% Zr.

Within the study of the River Jadar management, the biological and hydro-engineering characteristics of the watercourse and the riparian land were comparatively researched. The floristic diversity of the Jadar riparian area was studied and the existing plant species and communities, life forms and floral elements were identified. On the other hand, the study of the morphological and hydraulic characteristics of the water course included the basic factors of river channel and banks regulation - the variation of morphometric parameters, hydraulic resistance and the stability of the river banks. Based on the study results, the guidelines of river management were defined from the aspect of biodiversity conservation and ecosystem enhancement of the Jadar valley. .

The high floristic diversity of Stara Planina was the starting base for the research of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) in individual forest and meadow communities. The sites Javor and Prelesje, forest community Fagetum moesiacae montanum B. Jov. 1953, pioneer community of birch Betuletum verrucosae s.l. and meadow community Agrostietum vulgaris (capillaris) Pavlovic, Z. 1955, were researched as follows: soil types, floristic composition and structure of the community, percentage of MAPs, as well as the selection of species which, according to the predetermined criteria can be recommended for further exploitation. The study shows that the soil of the forest communities is eutric brown, and meadow soils are dystric and eutric humus-siliceous. The percentage of MAPs in the floristic structure of the study sites in forest and meadow communities is 32.35%. The following species can be recommended for the collection and utilisation: Hypericum perforatum L., Asperula odorata L., Dryopteris filix-mas (L) Schott. Urtica dioica L., Euphorbia amygdaloides L., Prunella grandiflora L. Tanacetum vulgare L., Achillea millefolium L., Rumex acetosa L., Campanula glomerata L., Stachys officinalis (L) Trevis., Plantago lanceolata W. et K., Potentilla erecta (L) Rauchel, Chamaespartium sagittale (L) P. Gibbs. Cynanchum vincetoxicum (L) Pers., Euphrasia stricta Host., Fagus moesiaca (Matt) Liebl. and Fragaria vesca L.

Few fragments of marble sculpture have been found in the course of the archaeological excavations conducted in Sirmium between 2003 and 2005 at site 85 which is believed to be part of the imperial palace complex. The most important are two almost completely preserved heads of deities. The head of a young person made of milky white, fine-grained marble of exceptionally fine texture from Pentelicon was found under the Late Roman floor in room 7 of the residential structure. The sculpture, of exceptional quality, is from the second half of the 1st century and represents a deity, most probably Venus or Apollo. Another head made of Carrara marble, from the 4th century, was found in a secondary position and on the basis of its mural crown is identified as the Tyche of Sirmium.

One of the essential analyses which is performed during the floristic study of a region is the analysis of the biological spectrum. The analysis of the biological spectrum of the flora includes the determination of the type of life form for each taxon described in the flora of the study region. If it is considered that life form is a specific structural-functional response to the environmental effects and the result of the adaptation during the species evolution, it is clear that the basic characteristics of the site are more or less reflected in any life form. This fact is confirmed by the analysis of the biological spectrum of Divcibare flora. The study results are in correlation with the results of the analysis of the biological spectrum of the flora of Serbia and the Balkan Peninsula.

The aim of phytogeographical analysis is to determine the plant species origin, genesis and migrations. The study results contribute to the knowledge of phytogeographical classification of the particular regions. Different chorions, by their effects, determine the flora structure and composition. The aim of the floristic research of Divcibare was to identify the diversity of flora in this region, i.e., in a wider sense, the diversity of flora in Serbia. Phytogeographical analysis was based on floristic research. The identified plant species were classified into the corresponding floral elements, area groups and area types. The data on diversity and the degree of representation in the flora of Divcibare were obtained based on the percentage of each area type. It was concluded that the flora of Divcibare has a transitional, Central European-Mediterranean-Pontic character.

The jewelry worn in the Roman times by the women of Palmyra is best known to us from the tombstones. The archaeological confirmation for the use of these adornments represented on Palmyrene reliefs is a pair of golden bracelets discovered in Viminacium. Very close analogy for this jewelry is a pair of silver bracelets from a treasure discovered at the site Rhetel in Gaul. One less luxurious specimen made of bronze and discovered in the course of systematic investigations of Sirmium in 1976 also belongs to this distinct group of Roman bracelets. Jewelry from Sirmium, Viminacium and Gaul, shows that decorative system, originating from Palmyrene bracelets, quickly entered, in the middle and during the second half of the 3rd century, the repertoire of some goldsmiths' workshops in the West, where experienced various transformations.

The establishment of the International Trade Organisation was aimed at completing the process of institutionalisation of the international economic relations. The process began at Bretton Woods in 1944 with the establishment of The International Monetary Fund and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This integration entity was planned to become a foundation of the post-war order, and was going to have a broader influence and importance than the economic one. A third pillar of the International Trade Organization has never been established, but that is why the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) came into life. It is one of those agreements, whose nearly fifty-year duration had surpassed even the duration of some states. By carrying out trade negotiations, GATT adopted to new needs. However, the moment its integrity got questioned and such a special idea began to die out, the way was found to preserve the GATT achievements and to have the innovative approach join them. This was done with the establishment of the World Trade Organisation, as an international organisation that manages multilateral agreements in the area of trade (GATT), the trade of services (GATS) and the trade aspects of the intellectual property rights. The institution is of multinational and supranational character. It has its own structure that includes the Ministerial Conferences, the General Council and the Secretariat. The WTO continues a long tradition in GATT of seeking to make decisions not by voting but by consensus, although there are also "circles of decision making" that are gradually narrowing down with the degree of the achieved economic power. The WTO is today a primary concept whose main task is to work on bringing into practice the long-standing idea of free trade. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to abide by the basic principles which the WTO has four of. They are: non-discrimination, reciprocity, market approach and fair competition. If one draws a parallel between a product?s life cycle and GATT?s life, one can understand why GATT itself had reached its peak, but was also gradually surpassed. This is why the establishment of the World Trade Organization was a new opportunity to attain all that that GATT had not managed to attain, and to set new goals for the new century. With the establishment of the WTO, GATT was transformed into an organization, and its scopes were considerably broadened. According to the author, there are several challenges before the WTO. Primarily, the process of solving problems on a multilateral level should be continued. Also facing the still powerful forces fighting for the preservation of protectionism, more pronounced in industrial countries although present in developing ones, should be continued. Even if liberalized non-discriminatory trade and investment policy are achieved, the WTO will maintain its importance as a forum for talks on new areas and issues. Perhaps the biggest challenge in the WTO?s future is to work on further integration of developing countries into the world economic trends. The process of decision making itself is perhaps the best opportunity to show to the developing countries that something has changed, the author concludes.

A very important parameter for the utilization of medicinal plants is the quality of active substances. The quality of the plant active substances does not depend only on its physiological potential and condition, but also on the environmental factors. The status of microelements in the soil and the basic ecological indices of plants, as the site indicators, at two localities on Mt. Kosmaj are presented. It was concluded that these relationships are very complex, in most cases identical and in direct correlation with the representation of individual plant species. Medicinal plants were analyzed in the first place because of their potential exploitation.

In the paper the results of study of soil ecological quality in the area of Kosmaj, from the aspect of chemical degradation process, are presented. The aim of this investigation is to define the possible, limiting and endangered factors for development of medicinal and aromatical plants. The estimate of soil quality was done on the bases of calculation of indicator values of availability of nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P), base cations and heavy metals and sensitivity to acidification.

The discovery of fragmented silver fibula with twice bent bow in the necropolis by the castellum Ravna (Timacum Minus) as well as inspection of some specimens of gold zwiebelknopf fibulae from the collections of the National Museum in Belgrade and Museum of Krajina in Negotin have drawn our attention to some finds of gold and silver fibulae from eastern Serbia and Romania that, according to their shape and decoration, represent specific variants in the initial phase of development of the zwiebelknopf fibulae. They are classified into three groups on the basis of their typological traits and their production is connected to Aurelian’s withdrawal from Dacia (group I), Diocletian’s victories over barbarians in the Danube basin (group II) and Constantine’s decennalia, i.e. his preparations for encounter with Licinius (group III).

The aim of the paper is to investigate Serbian food trade in the process of EU integration, particularly the effects of EU Preferential trade agreements (PTAs) and CEFTA integration on Serbian food exports. We analyse the developments in Serbian food trade flows from various aspects: the importance and growth of overall food exports and net-exports, intra-regional (with CEFTA) and extra-regional trade (with EU), as well as trade competiveness of Serbian food trade related to its most important foreign trade markets. In spite of the fact that total export from Serbia recorded decrease during the last decade, especially after the Great economic crisis, the Serbian food exports did not follow the same pattern. That points out the importance of the food trading, especially during the crisis. The food trading is the only sector that one country continuously can count on in the world trade, and the main reason for this conclusion we can find in the real nature of this sector – food sector produces goods for human diet as an existential need.

In large scale, heavy workload systems, managing distributed transactions on multiple datasets becomes challenging and error prone task. Software systems based on service oriented architecture principles that manage critical infrastructures are typical environments where robust transaction management is one of the essential goals to achieve. The aim of this paper is to provide a formal description of the solution for transaction management and individual service component behavior in a SOA-based control system, and prove the correctness of the proposed design with the SMV formal verification tool. Atomic commitment protocol is used as a basis for solving distributed transaction management problem. SMV language and verification tool are utilized for formal description of the problem and verification of the necessary properties. The case study describes an application of the proposed approach in commercial software system for electrical power distribution management. Verification of given model properties has shown that suggested solution is suitable for the described class of SOA-based systems.

Les monuments du culte mystique des cavaliers danubiens sont très répandus en Pannonie, Mésie et Dacie, tandis que dans les autres provinces ils sont beaucoup plus rares. Puisqu'il s'agit de monuments anépigraphiques, bien des problèmes se rattachant à leur chronologie et à leur interprétation sont restés sans solution définitive. Une nouvelle trouvaille d'une icône de plomb ronde faite dans les environs de Sirmium romaine, où l'existence d'un centre de production de ces images a été déjà constatée, jette un peu plus de lumière sur les problèmes concernant ce culte. Notamment, lors de l'exploration d'une nécropole romaine à Kuzmin, dans les environs de Sirmium, dans la tombe double 17 et 17a, contenant des squelettes en position recroquevillée, une image de plomb ronde des cavaliers danubiens a été mise au jour. La tombe 18 dans leur voisinage (v. au verso) immédiat a révélé une monnaies de Gordien III frappée en 242-243, ce qui permet de dater aussi la tombe double 17-17a. Le seul parallèle à cette nouvelle image de plomb provient d'Izvorac dans les environs de Sirmium. Puisque l'image de Muzmin est relativement bien datée, elle contribue sensiblement à l'établissement de la chronologie des différents types d'icônes du culte des cavaliers danubiens., Popovic Ivana.
