The resistance of urinary tract pathogenic bacteria to various antibiotics is increasing, which requires the rapid detection of infectious pathogens for accurate and timely antibiotic treatment. Here, we propose a rapid diagnosis strategy for the antibiotic resistance of bacteria in urinary tract infections (UTIs) based on surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) using a positively charged gold nanoparticle planar solid SERS substrate. Then, an intelligent identification model for SERS spectra based on the deep learning technique is constructed to realize the rapid, ultrasensitive, and non-labeled detection of pathogenic bacteria. A total of 54,000 SERS spectra were collected from 18 isolates belonging to 6 species of common UTI bacteria in this work to realize identification of bacterial species, antibiotic sensitivity, and multidrug resistance (MDR) via convolutional neural networks (CNN). This method significantly simplify the Raman data processing processes without background removing and smoothing, however, achieving 96% above classification accuracy, which was significantly greater than the 85% accuracy of the traditional multivariate statistical analysis algorithm principal component analysis combined with the K-nearest neighbor (PCA-KNN). This work clearly elucidated the potential of combining SERS and deep learning technique to realize culture-free identification of pathogenic bacteria and their associated antibiotic sensitivity.

A two-qubit quantum swap gate scheme based on coherent state qubit is proposed in cavity quantum electrodynamics system. Our scheme adopt the interaction between the Λ-type atomic ensemble and the two-mode optical cavity, and the swap gate can be realized directly only one step, so as to save a lot of quantum resources and reduce the number of single qubit rotation operations in the actual quantum information processing. It is found that under the condition of large detuning limit, the excited states of atoms are adiabatically eliminated, and the decoherence caused by the spontaneous emission of atoms is effectively suppressed. All atoms in the optical cavity are universally addressed, which reduces the experimental operation difficulty of the scheme. The fidelity of the quantum logic gate is maintained at a very high level when the photon loss of the cavity field is considered. Compared with the single-atom scheme, it is found that the atom-cavity interaction time required by the atomic ensemble scheme is inversely proportional to the number of atoms, so that the speed of the quantum logic gate can be increased by N times. Therefore, in principle, as long as enough atoms interacting with the optical field, an effective coupling of any atom-cavity field can be generated, which is conducive to selecting the appropriate quantum gate operation time in practical operation and effectively avoiding decoherence.

The breach of a steel column target (Steel 45, 120 mm in diameter) by an inward-cutting circular shaped charge is considered. The jet penetration process is simulated by a 3D model run in the ANSYS/LS-DYNA program. The results are compared with actual tests, where photographs of the jet penetration process allowed observation of detonation forms, timing of the jets arising at the cross section of the detonation points, and detonation wave collision points. Different penetration effects are observed with 2-, 4-, or 8-point symmetrical synchronous initiation of detonation. With 2-point initiation, the circular-shaped charge can basically cut off the steel column target, but 4- and 8-point initiation is more effective. A greater number of detonation points provides more detonation wave collision points, higher jet velocity, earlier jet-target contact, greater penetration depth, and more rapid cutting of the target.

HESS J1843–033 is a very high energy gamma-ray source whose origin remains unidentified. This work presents, for the first time, the energy spectrum of gamma rays beyond 100 TeV from the HESS J1843–033 region using the data recorded by the Tibet air shower array and its underground muon detector array. A gamma-ray source with an extension of 0.°34 ± 0.°12 is successfully detected above 25 TeV at (α, δ) = (281.°09 ± 0.°10, −3.°76 ± 0.°09) near HESS J1843–033 with a statistical significance of 6.2σ, and the source is named TASG J1844–038. The position of TASG J1844–038 is consistent with those of HESS J1843–033, eHWC J1842–035, and LHAASO J1843–0338. The measured gamma-ray energy spectrum in 25 TeV < E < 130 TeV is described with dN / dE = ( 9.70 ± 1.89 ) × 10 − 16 (E/40 TeV)−3.26±0.30 TeV−1 cm−2 s−1, and the spectral fit to the combined spectra of HESS J1843–033, LHAASO J1843–0338, and TASG J1844–038 implies the existence of a cutoff at 49.5 ± 9.0 TeV. Associations of TASG J1844–038 with SNR G28.6–0.1 and PSR J1844–0346 are also discussed in detail for the first time.

In a previous study, we reported that transplantation of bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) significantly attenuated liver damage in a mouse autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) model. Moreover, expression of the LIM domain protein, LMO7, correlated positively with the invasive capacity of hepatoma cells. However, whether LMO7 plays a role in inflammation and fibrosis of AIH remains unknown. This investigation aimed to explore the effect of BMSC transplantation on LMO7 and the role of LMO7 in hepatic fibrosis.S100-induced murine AIH and LPS-induced hepatocyte injury models were successfully established. Three doses of BMSCs were injected into AIH mice via the tail vein. LPS-treated AML12 cells were co-cultured with BMSCs in vitro. Small interfering (si) LMO7 RNA and T5224 (a specific inhibitor of AP-1) were used to demonstrate the relationship between LMO7-AP1-transforming growth factor (TGF)-β.Pathological examination and serum alanine and aspartate aminotransferase levels indicated that liver damage was notably ameliorated in the BMSC-treated mice. LMO7 level was upregulated, while AP-1 and TGF-β levels were downregulated upon intervention with BMSCs. AP-1 expression was upregulated in the siLMO7 group, whereas TGF-β level was downregulated in the T5224 group when compared to those in the control group.BMSC transplantation significantly limits liver fibrosis and upregulates the expression of LMO7. LMO7 inhibits the TGF-β pathway by inhibiting AP-1. This implies that BMSCs are a potential means of treating liver fibrosis. This approach has important implications for the treatment of AIH and other fibrotic diseases.

The prediction of reactor antineutrino spectra will play a crucial role as reactor experiments enter the precision era. The positron energy spectrum of 3.5 million antineutrino inverse beta decay reactions observed by the Daya Bay experiment, in combination with the fission rates of fissile isotopes in the reactor, is used to extract the positron energy spectra resulting from the fission of specific isotopes. This information can be used to produce a precise, data-based prediction of the antineutrino energy spectrum in other reactor antineutrino experiments with different fission fractions than Daya Bay. The positron energy spectra are unfolded to obtain the antineutrino energy spectra by removing the contribution from detector response with the Wiener-SVD unfolding method. Consistent results are obtained with other unfolding methods. A technique to construct a data-based prediction of the reactor antineutrino energy spectrum is proposed and investigated. Given the reactor fission fractions, the technique can predict the energy spectrum to a 2% precision. In addition, we illustrate how to perform a rigorous comparison between the unfolded antineutrino spectrum and a theoretical model prediction that avoids the input model bias of the unfolding method., 22 pages, 10 figures, 6 supplemental materials

OBJECTIVE: To compare the blood parameters related to erythrocyte and platelet between baseline and 3 months after initial periodontal therapy in patients with both type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic periodontitis (DM-P). METHODS: According to the International Symposium on Classification of Periodontal Diseases and Conditions in 1999 and the diagnostic criteria of type 2 diabetes mellitus proposed by the World Health Organization in 1999, 35 patients with DM-P were recruited. All the participants received initial periodontal therapy, including oral hygiene instruction, scaling, and root planning provided by one senior periodontist. Original diet, exercise, and medication for blood glucose control were unchanged for all the participants. At baseline and 3 months after initial periodontal therapy, the clinical periodontal parameters, including probing depth (PD), bleeding index (BI) and clinical attachment loss (CAL); erythrocyte-related indexes, including red blood cell (RBC) count, hemoglobin (HGB), hematocrit (HCT), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), RBC volume distribution width (RDW); platelet-related indexes, including platelet (PLT) count, mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), plateletocrit (PCT) were measured and compared. RESULTS: Compared with baseline, the periodontal parameters, including PD [(3.370±0.601) mm vs. (2.729±0.431) mm], BI [2.160 (1.550~3.410) vs. 1.420 (1.000~2.970)] and CAL [(3.307±1.577) mm vs. (2.990±1.587) mm], were significantly reduced (P < 0.001) three months after the initial periodontal therapy; the erythrocyte-related indexes, including RBC count [(4.727±0.392)×10(12)/L vs. (4.825±0.394)×10(12)/L, P=0.010], HGB [(145.886±11.792) g/L vs. (149.200±12.979) g/L, P=0.007] and HCT [43.40% (37.50%~48.50%) vs. 43.80% (38.50%~53.20%), P=0.003], were significantly increased three months after the initial periodontal therapy; PLT count [(216.714±61.900)×10(9)/L vs. (205.886±62.051)×10(9)/L, P=0.016] was significantly reduced 3 months after the initial periodontal therapy. CONCLUSIONS: The initial periodontal therapy can significantly improve blood parameters related to RBC and PLT, which might decrease the risk of vascular complications in DM-P patients.

Searches for electron antineutrino, muon neutrino, and muon antineutrino disappearance driven by sterile neutrino mixing have been carried out by the Daya Bay and MINOS+ collaborations. This Letter presents the combined results of these searches, along with exclusion results from the Bugey-3 reactor experiment, framed in a minimally extended four-neutrino scenario. Significantly improved constraints on the θ_{μe} mixing angle are derived that constitute the most constraining limits to date over five orders of magnitude in the mass-squared splitting Δm_{41}^{2}, excluding the 90% C.L. sterile-neutrino parameter space allowed by the LSND and MiniBooNE observations at 90% CL_{s} for Δm_{41}^{2}

Different light filters affect leaf photosynthetic features and fruit quality. Consequently, selecting the appropriate covering filter for rain-shelter cultivation of peaches is a key part of successful production. We used a late-maturing peach variety ‘Xiahui 8’ to study differences in leaf photosynthetic features, chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics, and fruit quality under neutral, red, yellow, green, and blue filter, with natural light as control. The results showed that the leaf photosynthetic ability and internal quality under the neutral filter treatment were elevated compared with the control, and the appearance color was the same as the control. Leaves under neutral filter could maintain higher photosynthetic ability than other filter treatments. In addition, the fruits could also keep higher quality when treated with neutral filter. Therefore, the application of neutral filter in rain-shelter cultivation of ‘Xinhui 8’ peaches is recommended for maintaining high photosynthetic capacity and for improving fruit quality.

To illustrate the role of FOXF2 in the aggravation of the progression of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by targeting long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) H19 to down-regulate the gene of phosphate and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome ten (PTEN).The relative levels of FOXF2 and H19 in NSCLC tissues and adjacent normal tissues were detected by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR). The correlation between the expression levels of FOXF2 and H19 was analyzed. Kaplan-Meier curves were depicted for uncovering the prognostic value of FOXF2 in NSCLC patients. The proliferative and migratory abilities of A549 cells influenced by FOXF2 were also assessed. The interaction between FOXF2 and H19 was evaluated through chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assay and Western blot, so did the association between H19 and PTEN. Finally, rescue experiments were conducted to explore the role of FOXF2/H19/PTEN axis in regulating the viability and migration of A549 cells.FOXF2 and H19 were upregulated in NSCLC and a positive correlation was observed between the two genes. High level of FOXF2 indicated a worse prognosis in NSCLC patients. The knockdown of FOXF2 attenuated the proliferative and migratory abilities of A549 cells. FOXF2 could bind to the promoter region of H19 and accelerated its transcription. Moreover, H19 could recruit EZH2 to bind to PTEN. The overexpression of H19 could reverse the regulatory effects of FOXF2 on the viability and migration of A549 cells.FOXF2 was upregulated in NSCLC. It accelerated the proliferative and migratory abilities of the NSCLC cells by targeting H19 to downregulate PTEN, thus aggravating the progression of NSCLC.

This paper presents first-principles calculations with the full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave method to study a series of LiMgPdSn-type Heusler alloys. The chemical formula is XX′YZ, where X = Fe, Co, or Ni; X′ = Mn; Y = Cu or Zn; and Z = Si, Al, Ga, or Ge. Eight compounds are found to be half-metallic magnets and obey the Slater–Pauling rule with the total number of valence electrons (Z t) of 28. The half-metallic band gap in CoMnZnSi compounds reaches its maximum of 0.66 eV. CoMnCuGe and CoMnZnGa can be transformed from a quasi-half-metallic alloy to a half-metallic alloy by employing sufficient compression stress.

Spent coffee grounds are produced in huge amount by cafeterias, restaurants and industries, which could be a good natural antioxidants resource. In this study, extraction conditions for total phenolics and caffeine from spent coffee grounds were optimized by pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) method with water and ethanol using statistical experimental design. The process was optimized by Plackett–Burman design to screen the most important variables for the extraction of total phenolics and caffeine firstly, and then central composite design (CCD) was performed to obtain the optimum conditions of the preferential factors for extraction. The analysis uses 3.5×10^{6} inverse beta-decay candidates in four near antineutrino detectors in 1958 days. The individual antineutrino spectra of the two dominant isotopes, ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu, are extracted using the evolution of the prompt spectrum as a function of the isotope fission fractions. In the energy window of 4-6 MeV, a 7% (9%) excess of events is observed for the ^{235}U (^{239}Pu) spectrum compared with the normalized Huber-Mueller model prediction. The significance of discrepancy is 4.0σ for ^{235}U spectral shape compared with the Huber-Mueller model prediction. The shape of the measured inverse beta-decay prompt energy spectrum disagrees with the prediction of the Huber-Mueller model at 5.3σ. In the energy range of 4-6 MeV, a maximal local discrepancy of 6.3σ is observed.

We report a measurement of electron antineutrino oscillation from the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment with nearly 4 million reactor $\overline{\nu}_{e}$ inverse beta decay candidates observed over 1958 days of data collection. The installation of a Flash-ADC readout system and a special calibration campaign using different source enclosures reduce uncertainties in the absolute energy calibration to less than 0.5% for visible energies larger than 2 MeV. The uncertainty in the cosmogenic $^9$Li and $^8$He background is reduced from 45% to 30% in the near detectors. A detailed investigation of the spent nuclear fuel history improves its uncertainty from 100% to 30%. Analysis of the relative $\overline{\nu}_{e}$ rates and energy spectra among detectors yields $\sin^{2}2\theta_{13} = 0.0856\pm 0.0029$ and $\Delta m^2_{32}=(2.471^{+0.068}_{-0.070})\times 10^{-3}~\mathrm{eV}^2$ assuming the normal hierarchy, and $\Delta m^2_{32}=-(2.575^{+0.068}_{-0.070})\times 10^{-3}~\mathrm{eV}^2$ assuming the inverted hierarchy., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures, and 1 table. v4: the published version

The water quality assessment is often challenged by how to determine the index weight and simplify the evaluation model. This paper proposed an integrated model called PCA-BP neural network model to solve the problem, which combines the dimensionality reduction capability of the improved principal component analysis (PCA) method with the self-learning ability of back propagation (BP) artificial neural networks. And its application for the plain river network in the main districts of Wenzhou city indicated that the evaluation result of PCA-BP was consistent with the single-factor method and PCA method in overall trend. It was demonstrated that PCA-BP model could evaluate the water quality of the study area more reasonably and accurately, as it avoided the disadvantage of a certain factor completely covering the information of the other ones in the single-factor method and the risk of over-optimism in PCA method as well.

With the changes of modern warfare modes and the development of missiles and weapons, the battlefield survivability of military vehicles is facing severe challenges. Vehicles must have high protection performance and better mobility. However, both of them are contradictory each other. The advanced resin-based composites has excellent mechanical properties and strong designability, and is one of the main technical means to solve the above problems, but it also encounters a bottleneck. In view of these situations, this paper summarizes the development of advanced composites in recent years, and discusses in detail the protection mechanism of advanced composite materials, material selection and manufacturing processes, and the latest developments and future application trends of advanced composite materials for armor protection systems.

The damage mode and failure mechanism of the PBO composite are studied of the penetrating speed from 900 m/s to 1900 m/s, based on the dynamic response of the PBO fiber-reinforced composite target under high-speed penetration. Firstly, the mechanical properties of the projectile and the target material under high strain rate were characterized, and then the penetration of high-speed projectile into target is simulated. Finally, the penetration test is verified. The results show that the dynamic response mechanism of PBO composite target under high-speed penetration varies significantly with the penetrating speed.

Objective To identify tiletamine, zolazepam and their metabolites in samples from drug facilitated sexual assault by gas chromatography-quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry （GC-QTOF-MS）. Methods Urine samples of victims were collected, and detected by GC-QTOF-MS after liquid-liquid extraction and concentration. The molecular formula of fragments ions was identified by determination of accurate mass numbers, to detect related substances. Results Tiletamine, zolazepam, three metabolites of tiletamine and two metabolites of zolazepam were identified in urine samples from actual cases. We aimed to evaluate the effects of fulvestrant on the glycolysis of prolactinoma GH3 cells, and reveal the potential regulatory mechanisms.Prolactinoma cell line GH3 was treated with different concentrations of fulvestrant (0, 0.12, 0.25, 0.5 and 1 ng/ml) for 4 h. siRNAs XBP1s and XBP1u were constructed to treat GH3 cells. The expression levels of XBP1s, XBP1u, IRE1, PKM2 and GRP78 of GH3 cells were detected by Western blot. Meanwhile, the glycolytic activity of GH3 cells, including the glucose uptake, ATP/ADP, and lactate production were detected.The expression levels of XBP1s and XBP1u were significantly inhibited by fulvestrant in a dose-dependent manner. The glucose uptake, ATP/ADP and lactate production of GH3 cells were significantly inhibited by fulvestrant as well as siRNA XBP1s and XBP1u (p0.05). Western blot analysis suggested that the expression levels of IRE1, PKM2 and GRP78 were significantly decreased in GH3 cells treated by fulvestrant as well as siRNA XBP1s and XBP1u, compared with those in normal control (p0.05).Fulvestrant could inhibit the glycolysis of GH3 cells by downregulating IRE1/XBP1 signaling pathway, and this process was closely related with the downregulation of PKM2.

The Daya Bay Experiment consists of eight identically designed detectors located in three underground experimental halls named as EH1, EH2, EH3, with 250, 265 and 860 meters of water equivalent vertical overburden, respectively. Cosmic muon events have been recorded over a two-year period. The underground muon rate is observed to be positively correlated with the effective atmospheric temperature and to follow a seasonal modulation pattern. The correlation coefficient $\alpha$, describing how a variation in the muon rate relates to a variation in the effective atmospheric temperature, is found to be $\alpha_{\text{EH1}} = 0.362\pm0.031$, $\alpha_{\text{EH2}} = 0.433\pm0.038$ and $\alpha_{\text{EH3}} = 0.641\pm0.057$ for each experimental hall., Comment: Updated to be identical to the published version

A variable axial transmission system which is composed of universal joint transmission shafts and a gear pair plays an important role in many engineering fields. However, researchers have done a lot of work in the area of gear dynamic characteristics, seldom considering the effects of universal joint shafts on the modal characteristics of gear pair system. This project takes a rear-wheel drive transmission system as a research subject. A transmission shaft-main reducer assembly virtual prototype simulation model is established by the dynamics software ADAMS; and the effects of the angle between shafts and the intermediate support stiffness on the noise and vibration characteristics of a main reducer in a rear axle are analysed. At the same time, an experiment is conducted to demonstrate the authenticity of the simulation. The result provides reference for parameters design of a drive shaft and a main reducer in a rear axle.

Potassium uptake and transport is facilitated by KT/HAK/KUP transporters. In this study, we identified 16 putative K+-uptake transporter genes in peach (Prunus persica). To investigate the role of PpeKUP in maintaing K+ uptake, transport, and homeostasis, we applied abiotic stresses to peach seedlings and analysed physiological reactions and transcriptional responses of PpeKUP genes. The peach seedlings were sensitive to polyethylene glycol (PEG), Pb, and Cd, as evidenced by impaired growth, K+ nutrition, and photosynthetic performance. However, the peach seedlings were tolerant to aluminum. K+ deficiency mainly increased, whereas K+ excess reduced the PpeKUP gene expression in roots. The Al treatments enhanced the PpeKUP transcription in shoots, whereas PEG, Pd, and Cd enhanced the PpeKUP transcription in all tissues. Our findings provided molecular basis for K+ uptake, transport, and homeostasis in the peach seedlings, and revealed potential candidate genes for further functional determination or breeding of peaches.

To investigate whether hypoxia microenvironment induced hepatocellular carcinoma cells SMMC-7721 epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and to explore the underlying molecular mechanism.In this study, SMMC-7721 cells were cultured under normoxia and hypoxia conditions, respectively. RT-PCR and Western blot were used to monitor the expression level of EMT-related markers, E-cadherin, and vimentin, as well as hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) and Twist1. Then we performed the transwell invasion assays to detect the ability of cell invasion.The results demonstrated that hypoxia micro-environment could induce hepatocellular carcinoma cells SMMC-7721 EMT and enhance the cell invasion ability. Furthermore, knockdown of Twist1 by using specific siRNA could reverse hypoxia-induced EMT process.Hypoxia promotes hepatocellular carcinoma cells SMMC-7721 EMT by upregulating the expression of Twist1.

A new measurement of the reactor antineutrino flux and energy spectrum by the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment is reported. The antineutrinos were generated by six 2.9~GW$_{\mathrm{th}}$ nuclear reactors and detected by eight antineutrino detectors deployed in two near (560~m and 600~m flux-weighted baselines) and one far (1640~m flux-weighted baseline) underground experimental halls. With 621 days of data, more than 1.2 million inverse beta decay (IBD) candidates were detected. The IBD yield in the eight detectors was measured, and the ratio of measured to predicted flux was found to be $0.946\pm0.020$ ($0.992\pm0.021$) for the Huber+Mueller (ILL+Vogel) model. A 2.9~$\sigma$ deviation was found in the measured IBD positron energy spectrum compared to the predictions. In particular, an excess of events in the region of 4-6~MeV was found in the measured spectrum, with a local significance of 4.4~$\sigma$. Bacterial blight (BB), caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo), is one of the most devastating rice diseases worldwide. In this study, a rice introgression line (IL), FF329, which was identified from a BC1F4 population derived from the cross between donor PSBRC66 (P66) and recipient Huang-Hua-Zhan (HHZ), exhibited a typical hypersensitive response (HR) when inoculated with all 21 representative Xoo strains, consisting of 14 Philippines races and seven Chinese pathotypes. By contrast, the parents were highly susceptible to 10 of the tested strains and resistant or moderately susceptible to 11 strains, but without HR symptoms. Genetic analysis of the F2 population derived from the HHZ/FF329 cross with virulent Philippines race 6 (P6) and Chinese pathotype V (CV) revealed that BB resistance in FF329 was controlled by a single dominant gene. Because FF329 showed broad-spectrum BB resistance, different from both parents, the gene identified was novel and was designated Xa39. Two SSR markers, RM21 and RM206, located on rice chromosome 11, were linked to the target gene by bulked segregant analysis. A further six markers linked to Xa39 were identified in the region between RM21 and RM206 for fine gene mapping, and the Xa39 locus was refined to a 97·4 kb interval flanked by markers RM26985 and DM13 using a large F2 population. This gene provides rice breeders with a new option to incorporate BB resistance into newly developed cultivars.

Toll-like receptors (TLRs) play an important role in the induction and regulation of the innate immune system or adaptive immune responses. Genetic variations within human TLRs have been reported to be associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study was conducted to investigate correlation between SNP of downstream mononucleotide in signal transduction of Toll-like receptors and predisposing genes of RA. There was obviously correlative between single nucleotide polymorphism and predisposing genes of RA. G-type of IL-1RAP rs766442 may be protecting genes of RA, while T-type alleles of IL-6R rs11265618 and IL-1RAP rs766442 may be susceptible genes of RA. In conclusion, the studies on the nucleis acid polymorphism in TLRs signal pathway contribute to disclose genes’ influence on the attack mechanism of RA, early diagnosis and treatment of RA. Using antimony trioxide nanoparticles (nano-Sb2O3), montmorillonite (MMT) and brominated polystyrene (BPS) as additive and using polypropylene (PP) as matrix material, a novel nano-Sb2O3/MMT/BPS-PP flame retardant composite was synthesized via mechanical ball milling dispersion and melt blending method and characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimeter and tensile properties testing. The flame retardant performance of the composite was investigated by limiting oxygen index and vertical burning test (UL-94). The results show that the mechanical properties and flame retardant properties of the composites are improved compared to that of pure PP when PP matrix retardant composites are added with different mass fraction of nano-Sb2O3. When the mass fraction of nano-Sb2O3 is 3wt%, the PP matrix composite exhibits excellent tensile strength and crystallization properties. When the mass fraction of nano-Sb2O3 is more than 3wt%, the PP matrix composite exhibits excellent flame retardancy.

To compare occurrence and curative effect of interstitial pneumonia (IP) of patients with malignant hematologic disease after related HLA-haploidentical peripheral blood stem cell transplantation without T-cell depletion (RHNT-PBSCT) and non T cell-depleted HLA-matched sibling peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (MSNT-PBSCT).109 patients with malignant hematologic disease as the research cases received RHNT-PBSCT from January 2006 to December 2014, which were compared with 125 patients treated with MSNT-PBSCT during the same period to determine the occurrence of IP and curative effect produced by ganciclovir and joint adrenal glucocorticoids.The incidences of IP in RHNT-PBSCT and MSNT-PBSCT groups were 15.60%(17/109) and 13.60%(17/125) (P=0.150), respectively; both the effective rates were 76.47%(13/17) (P=0.536), the difference was not statistically significant. Single factor analysis showed that acute graft versus host disease was a risk factor for the occurrence of IP after RHNT-PBSCT (P=0.001).The incidence of IP in patients with malignant hematologic disease after RHNT-PBSCT didn' t increase when compared with patients after MSNT-PBSCT. The curative effects of the two groups were equivalent after priority to ganciclovir and joint adrenal glucocorticoids.

Searches for a light sterile neutrino have been performed independently by the MINOS and the Daya Bay experiments using the muon (anti)neutrino and electron antineutrino disappearance channels, respectively. In this Letter, results from both experiments are combined with those from the Bugey-3 reactor neutrino experiment to constrain oscillations into light sterile neutrinos. The three experiments are sensitive to complementary regions of parameter space, enabling the combined analysis to probe regions allowed by the LSND and MiniBooNE experiments in a minimally extended four-neutrino flavor framework. Stringent limits on $\sin^2 2\theta_{\mu e}$ are set over 6 orders of magnitude in the sterile mass-squared splitting $\Delta m^2_{41}$. The sterile-neutrino mixing phase space allowed by the LSND and MiniBooNE experiments is excluded for $\Delta m^2_{41} < 0.8$ eV$^2$ at 95% CL$_s$., Comment: 8 pages, 4 figures, published in Physical Review Letters.
