Introduction: Anxiety disorders are one of the most common mental disorders, yet only less than 20% of people with anxiety disorders receive adequate treatment. Digital interventions for anxiety disorders can potentially increase access to evidence-based treatment. However, there is no comprehensive meta-analysis study that covers all modalities of digital interventions and all anxiety disorders. Objectives: A preliminary meta-analysis was conducted to examine the treatment efficacy of digital interventions [e.g., virtual reality (VR)-, mobile application-, internet-based interventions] for anxiety disorders and to identify potential moderators that may lead to better treatment outcomes. Methods: We searched Embase, PubMed, PsycINFO, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library for randomized controlled trials examining the therapeutic efficacy of digital interventions for individuals with anxiety disorders from database inception to April 18, 2023. Search keywords were developed by combining the PICOS framework and MeSH terms. Data screening and extraction adhered to PRISMA guidelines. We used a random-effects model with effect sizes expressed as Hedge's g. The quality of the studies was assessed using the Revised Cochrane risk-of-bias tool for randomized trials (RoB 2). The study protocol was registered in PROSPERO on April 22, 2023 (CRD42023412139). Results: A systematic literature search identified 19 studies with randomized controlled trials (21 comparisons; 1936 participants) with high overall heterogeneity (Q = 104.49; P <.001; I 2 = 80.9%). Digital interventions reduced anxiety symptoms with medium to large effect sizes (g = 0.78; 95% CI: 0.55-1.02; P <.001), with interventions for specific phobia showing the largest effect size (n = 6; g = 1.22; 95% CI: 0.51-1.93; P <.001). VR-based interventions had a larger effect size (n = 6; g = 0.98; 95% CI: 0.39-1.57; P <.001) than mobile- or internet-based interventions, which had medium effect sizes. Meta-regression results exhibited that effect sizes of digital interventions were associated with the mean age of participants (β = 0.04; 95% CI: 0.02-0.06; P <.001). Conclusions: The results of this study provide evidence for the efficacy of digital interventions for anxiety disorders. However, this also suggests that the degrees of effectiveness in reducing anxiety symptoms can be moderated by the specific diagnosis, the modalities of digital technologies, and mean age, implying that the application of digital interventions for anxiety disorders should be accompanied by personalized guidance. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the plaque distribution and composition pattern in the left main coronary artery (LMCA) disease using intracoronary ultrasound. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Intravascular ultrasound data of 50 patients from the January 2010 to December 2015 with significant LMCA bifurcation lesions, with angiographic diameter stenosis >50%, and requiring revascularization, were evaluated. Plaque burden and percentage of necrotic core (% NC) at the minimal lumen area site and maximal % NC site were measured in different segments. The segments that were included in the study are as follows: segment 1: proximal LMCA, segment 2: left anterior descending (LAD) ostium, segment 3: left circumflex branch (LCX) ostium, segment 4: proximal LAD, segment 5: proximal LCX. According to its relationship with the bifurcation ridge, the blood vessel wall was divided into the contralateral bifurcation ridge blood vessel wall and bifurcation ridge blood vessel wall. RESULTS: Plaque burden results showed that the plaque eccentricity index of segment 2 and segment 3 was significantly higher than that of the other segments at sites of the minimal lumen area and maximal % NC with a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). Plaque eccentricity index of contralateral bifurcation ridge was significantly higher than that of the bifurcation ridge, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). Analysis of plaque composition showed the fibrous tissue percentage of segment 2 and segment 3 was significantly higher than the other segments that at the sites of minimal lumen area and the maximal % NC site. The fibrous percentage of the contralateral bifurcation ridge was significantly lower than that of the bifurcation ridge. CONCLUSIONS: Intravascular ultrasound is an effective way for detecting the distribution and composition of the atherosclerotic plaque at the left main coronary artery bifurcation and is of great significance to adjuvant interventional therapy. At the bedrock section of the auxiliary shaft of the Tong-ting coal mine, the sidewall has varying degradation degrees in different parts. The part on which water flowed is barely corroded, whereas the moist part near the pouring joints is seriously corroded. We first studied the mechanism of this phenomenon by chromatography, X-ray diffraction, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. We then used simplified models built by particle flow code software (i.e., particle flow code in three dimensions, PFC3D) to analyse how increasing degradation depth affects compressive strength and failure patterns. The results were as follows. (1) Gypsum and calcite in corrosive water were supersaturated. The part on which water flowed was protected by the crystallized precipitation on the concrete. By contrast, the degradation of the part where water flowed through pouring joints was aggravated by internal crystallization and dissolution. (2) PFC3D numerical simulation indicated that decreases in vertical ultimate stress were strongly linearly correlated with degradation depth. As for the −355.5 m damaged part, reinforcement should be conducted before degradation depth reaches 250 mm. (3) No obvious signs were observed prior to the failure of the corroded sidewall. Background: There has been considerable controversy about the relation between Kimura's disease and angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE)., Objective: We describe the clinical and histopathologic differences between the two diseases., Methods: We reviewed clinical findings and histopathologic changes in two cases of Kimura's disease and three cases of ALHE., Results: Kimura's disease shows typical lymphoid follicles. It is associated with lymphadenopathy and is always accompanied by peripheral eosinophilia. ALHE shows typical changes in endothelial cells. It is characterized by superficial papules or nodules with no lymphadenopathy and is less frequently accompanied by peripheral eosinophilia., Conclusion: Kimura's disease and ALHE are separate entities.

The presence of a lupus anticoagulant was evaluated in patients with Bechet's disease by the kaolin clotting time method. Four percents (three patients) of 69 patients analyzed were found positive for the lupus anticoagulant. However, no statistically significant association existed between the presence of this antibody and the presence of thrombosis, clinical activity, clinical type, antinuclear antibodies and the positive VDRL test.
