CO2 geological storage is a guaranteed technology for achieving carbon neutrality. The offshore deposit basin is far away from the human activity area, and the implementation of a CO2 geological storage is more advantageous than the land sedimentary basin. To find out the CO2 storage potential in the Weixinan sag of the Beibu Gulf Basin, based on the 8 indicators such as caprock burial depth, the maximum thickness of single layer mudstone, mud-soil ratio, fault density and reservoir porosity, formation thickness, sand-soil ratio, permeability, etc., it has established a reservoir evaluation system for the secondary structure unit of the basin. Combined with the core physical property data of lays and 3D geological models, the reservoir and caprock of the Weixinan sag are optimized, and the effective storage potential is evaluated with the US-DOE method. The results show that within 800−3000 meters below the sea floor, in the Weixinan sag, there are two sets of reservoir-cap combinations suitable for CO2 storage. Combination 1: in Neogene, the neritic mudstone of the first member of the Jiaowei Formation is the cap rock, and the neritic sandstone of the second member of the Jiaowei Formation and the Xiayang Formation is the reservoir, and the effective storage capacity is 0.749 billion tons. Combination 2: in the Paleogene, the deep lake mudstone in the second member of the Weizhou Formation is the cap rock, and the sandstone in the third member of the Weizhou Formation is the reservoir, and the effective storage capacity is 0.374 billion tons. In the Weixinan sag, two sets of reservoir-cap assemblages suitable for CO2 storage in the saline aquifers are selected, with an effective storage capacity of 1.123 billion tons. According to the evaluation of the annual CO2 emission of 70 million tons in the west of Guangdong Province, it can meet the CO2 emission reduction needs of the region for more than 16 years. Offshore geological storage is a potential path for the green and sustainable development of coastal heavy chemical clustering areas and to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.

Point cloud generation and representation is important in industry areas. Generating and editing high quality 3D shapes is challenging work in deep learning. Inspired by StyleGAN, a style based generative adversarial networks is proposed to generate high quality 3D point cloud. An improved non-linear mapping network learn distribution of points and is used to generate well distributed point cloud point cloud. We also provide a coarse to fine representation for point cloud. According to the experimental results on the ShapeNet Part data set(including aircraft, chair single category and overall 16 categories), our method can generate more uniform point cloud than other GAN methods with less training epoches. The latent code for point cloud has better linear separation,and is more easy to edit.

With the deep involvement of Chinese oil enterprises in global oil production and the breaking of the integrated management mode of production, transportation and marketing for Chinese oil and gas companies, it's necessary to have a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of crude oil custody measurement. Herein, the five major standard systems of crude oil custody measurement worldwide were sorted out. Comprehensive analysis was conducted for the application of crude oil custody measurement standards in different regions of the world, their interrelationship, and the development of relevant Chinese standards in the oil and gas field. The overall management level concerning the selection of main parameters of custody measurement, the accuracy of relevant instrument and equipment, and their calibration and verification, were analyzed systematically by comparing the requirements of different standard systems in terms of the base condition, oil measurement system, oil test and the calibration of measuring equipment. In addition, four measurement design schemes were summarized by analyzing the design schemes for custody measurement of multiple in-service crude oil pipelines by classification. Further, the quality bank of crude oil was included in the design schemes to improve the measurement management level. Generally, the research results could provide a useful reference for the promotion of relevant oil and gas standards in the emerging region and the design of various custody measurement schemes.

Epoxy resin is widely used in the surface protection and repair of hydraulic structures in water conservancy and hydropower engineering projects.However， with the extension of service time， the problem of aging failure of epoxy resin protective and repair materials gradually occurs.Especially， the aging resistance and service life of epoxy resin protection and repair materials are faced with great challenges when they are exposed to ultraviolet， humid and hot hydraulic environment for a long time.In this work， the test methods and specifications of the aging resistance of epoxy resin protective repair materials， the evaluation indexes of aging resistance and the research status of coating life prediction methods were reviewed， and the future research directions were put forward.

Background and Purpose Intravenous tenecteplase (TNK) efficacy has not been well demonstrated in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) beyond 4.5 hours after onset. This study aimed to determine the effect of intravenous TNK for AIS within 4.5 to 24 hours of onset. Methods In this pilot trial, eligible AIS patients with diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI)-fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) mismatch were randomly allocated to intravenous TNK (0.25 mg/kg) or standard care within 4.5–24 hours of onset. The primary endpoint was excellent functional outcome at 90 days (modified Rankin Scale [mRS] score of 0–1). The primary safety endpoint was symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH). Results Of the randomly assigned 80 patients, the primary endpoint occurred in 52.5% (21/40) of TNK group and 50.0% (20/40) of control group, with no significant difference (unadjusted odds ratio, 1.11; 95% confidence interval 0.46–2.66; P=0.82). More early neurological improvement occurred in TNK group than in control group (11 vs. 3, P=0.03), but no significant differences were found in other secondary endpoints, such as mRS 0–2 at 90 days, shift analysis of mRS at 90 days, and change in National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score at 24 hours and 7 days. There were no cases of sICH in this trial; however, asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage occurred in 3 of the 40 patients (7.5%) in the TNK group. Conclusion This phase 2, randomized, multicenter study suggests that intravenous TNK within 4.5–24 hours of onset may be safe and feasible in AIS patients with a DWI-FLAIR mismatch.

Abstract Background The antisense noncoding RNA in the INK4 locus (ANRIL) has been confirmed related to multiple disease progression, but the role and exact mechanisms of lnc‐ANRIL in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced inflammation of bovine mammary epithelial cells (MAC‐T) remain unclear. Aims This manuscript focused on expounding the functional role of lnc‐ANRIL through experiments performed in MAC‐T. Methods At the in vitro level, we established a Bovine mammary epithelial cell (BMEC) cell model of mastitis by LPS treatment. Transfection of siRNA was examined by immunofluorescence localization and RT‐qPCR. CCK8, clonogenic assay and EdU were used to detect the proliferation ability of the cells. Cell cycle and apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry and Western blot. The levels of inflammatory factors and oxidative stress markers were detected by ELISA kits. Results Cell Counting Kit‐8, colony formation, and 5‐ethynyl‐20‐deoxyuridine were adopted and the data illustrated that LPS could significantly suppress the cell proliferation, while knockdown of lnc‐ANRIL expression obviously promoted MAC‐T cell proliferation compared with LPS or LPS + si‐NC group. Flow cytometry analysis demonstrated that lnc‐ANRIL could induce MAC‐T cell apoptosis. In addition, downregulation of lnc‐ANRIL affected LPS‐induced immune response by regulating inflammatory factor expressions and modulating the nuclear factor kappa B (NF‐κB) axis in MAC‐T cells. Conclusion Our results suggest that lnc‐ANRIL is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, cell cycle, and cell apoptosis of MAC‐T cells, and plays an important role in the inflammatory and immune response of MAC‐T cells through the regulation of the NF‐κB pathway, proposing new therapeutic strategies for the treatment of innate immune response‐related disease such as bovine mastitis.

Abstract Background Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the leading cause of mortality in childhood worldwide. However, a large number of children with CHD are not diagnosed promptly in low- and middle-income regions, due to limited healthcare resources and lack the ability of prenatal and postnatal ultrasound examinations. The research on asymptomatic CHD in the community is still blank, resulting in a large number of children with asymptomatic CHD can not be found and treated in time. Through the China-Cambodia collaborative health care initiative, the project team conducted research, screened children’s CHD through a sampling survey in China and Cambodia, collected relevant data, and retrospectively analyzed the data of all eligible patients. Objectives The project aimed to evaluate the prevalence of asymptomatic CHD in a sample population of 3-18years old and effects on their growth status and treatment outcomes. Methods We examined the prevalence of ‘asymptomatic CHD’ among 3-18years old children and adolescents at the township/county levels in the two participating. A total of eight provinces in China and five provinces in Cambodia were analyzed from 2017 to 2020. During 1 year follow-up after treatment, the differences in heights and weights of the treated and control groups were evaluated. Results Among the 3,068,075 participants screened from 2017 to 2020, 3967 patients with asymptomatic CHD requiring treatment were identified [0.130%, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.126 -0.134%]. The prevalence rate of CHD ranged from 0.02 to 0.88%, and was negatively related to local per capita GDP (p = 0.028). The average height of 3310 treated CHD patients were 2.23% (95% CI: -2.51%~-1.9%) lower than that of the standard group and the average weight was − 6.41% (95% CI: -7.17%~-5.65%) lower, the developmental gap widening with advancing age. One year after treatment, the relative height difference remained comparable while that, in weight was reduced by 5.68% (95% CI: 4.27% ~7.09%). Conclusions Asymptomatic CHD now is often overlooked and is an emerging public health challenge. Early detection and treatment are essential to lower the potential burden of heart diseases in children and adolescents.

Background: Progress in cardiovascular health is increasingly concentrated in high-income countries, while the burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD) is high in low - and middle-income countries, a clear health inequity that must be urgently addressed. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the prevalence and clustering of CVD risk factors in the three Lancang-Mekong regions. Methods: We conducted a population-based cross-sectional survey from January 2021 to March 2023 in China, Laos, and Cambodia. We compared the prevalence and clustering of CVD risk factors including hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, overweight / obesity, current smoker, current drinker, inadequate vegetable and fruit intake, and insufficient physical activity across the three regions, and were further stratified by gender and age. Multivariate logistic regression models were performed to explore factors influencing the aggregation of CVD risk factors (≥2, ≥3, ≥4). Results: A total of 11005 adults were included. Hypertension emerged as the primary metabolic risk factors in Laos (36.8%) and Cambodia (23.5%), whereas overweight / obesity was 37.6% in China. In terms of behavioral risk factors, all three regions showed insufficient vegetable and fruit intake. The prevalence of individuals without CVD risk factors was 10% in China, 1.9% in Laos, and 5.2% in Cambodia. Meanwhile, the prevalence of two or more risk factors was 64.6% in China, 79.2% in Laos, and 76.0% in Cambodia. Multivariate logistic regression models revealed that the propensity for CVD risk factors clustering was higher in men and increased with age in all three countries. Conclusions: CVD risk factors and multiple clustering are pressing health threats among adults in low- and middle-income areas along the Lancang-Mekong River Basin. This study highlights the urgent need for proactive tailored strategies to control CVD risk factors.

Vehicle emissions belong to the category of near-surface sources, occur close to human activity areas, and pose a greater threat to human health than other anthropogenic pollution sources. Furthermore, the study of the spatiotemporal characteristics of near-road traffic pollution is of great significance to urban and regional ambient air quality management, and is also an important basis for vehicle emission inventories, as well as the assessment of ambient air impact. Most previous studies have analyzed the spatiotemporal characteristics of hydrocarbons (HCs), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and carbon dioxide (CO2) in urban vehicle emissions over a certain time, without considering the synergistic effect of mobile source particulate matter, NOx, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). In this study, we analyze the composition of vehicles with different emission standards from road mobile sources in Anqing City, China. National category III and IV vehicles are the main contribution sources of various pollutants, accounting for more than 60% of emissions. Although national category I and II vehicles accounted for less than 1% of the total number of vehicles, their contribution to emissions cannot be ignored, especially for CO and HCs, the contribution of which from such vehicles can reach about 7%. This is mainly due to the low level of pollution control arising from the larger emission factor and greater age of these vehicles. Furthermore, eliminating old cars and increasing the proportion of national category VI vehicles can effectively reduce vehicle pollutant emissions. In terms of the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics, highways around urban areas are also the main sources of heavy vehicles, and the emission intensity of these pollutants is also higher on national roads and highways surrounding urban areas. In addition, the presence of m/p-xylene and toluene solvent-using species is detected, which indicates that petrol vehicle emissions, LPG and petrol volatilization, and solvent-using sources contribute significantly to ozone formation in the ozone pollution process. Comparing weekdays and non-weekdays, the PM2.5 peaks on non-weekdays are significantly higher than those on weekdays, and there is no “weekend effect”, which indicates that traffic emissions have little influence on PM2.5 emissions, and may be related to energy use and industrial pollution. Overall, this study strengthens the understanding of the relationship between emissions, traffic volumes, and vehicle types on spatial and temporal scales, and emphasizes the need for further investigation and comprehensive measures to mitigate pollution from these emissions.

The grapevine is an important and economically valuable fruit crop, with flower sex being a key genetic trait that directly affects grapevine yield and quality. Despite its significance, there is a lack of studies on sex-linked molecular markers that can assist in grapevine breeding. In this study, we developed a grapevine single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker array using a combination of genotyping by target sequencing (GBTS) and capture-in-solution technology and applied it to marker-assisted selection (MAS) of grapevine gender. The SNP array could detect a total of 20,597 core SNPs and 97,453 multiple SNPs (mSNPs), covering over 99% of the grapevine genome on each chromosome. A total of 131 progenies from a cross between Vitis vinifera 'Cabernet Sauvignon' and Vitis pseudoreticulata 'Huadong1058' that exhibited segregated sex phenotypes were sequenced using this array. Through locus mapping and a genome-wide association study (GWAS), a locus on chromosome 2 (54.74−58.80 cM) that explained 98.6% of the phenotypic variation was identified. To further utilize this locus, a sex prediction marker combination consisting of two SNPs was developed, which accurately predicted the sex of 34 natural grapevine varieties/accessions. This study demonstrates the application of GBTS in grapevine breeding and provides a reliable MAS marker set for early-stage sex selection.

As one of the most critical equipment in reactor primary circuit system, nuclear reactor pressure vessel undertakes extremely important system functions and safety functions. Therefore, the analysis and design method for the main seal of reactor pressure vessel has always been one of the core technologies in nuclear power station and related industrial field. And, ensuring the safety and reliability of the main seal is of great significance to guarantee the nuclear safety. With the aim to study the mechanical properties and sealing characteristic of the main seal assembly under transient condition in reactor pressure vessel, the mechanism of stress change in bolt section, the axial separation curve at flange sealing interface, and the cumulative deformation at flange surfacing layer under cycle conditions were explored in this paper. Firstly, the three-dimensional numerical analysis model of the seal assembly including bolt, sphere head and vessel flanges was investigated and established. Using sequential thermal-mechanical coupling analysis technique, the temperature and stress distribution characteristics of the seal assembly under typical transient conditions such as start-up and shut-down were studied. Then, through analyzing the flange and bolt coordination deformation mechanism, the variation rules and interval causes for bolt stress change under transient conditions were systematically explored and concluded. In addition, mechanism of the axial separation between sphere head and vessel flanges at sealing interface versus time was summarized. Last, the cumulative plastic deformation within the sealing region and surfacing layer, and the evolution trend of axial separation at flange sealing interface under cycle transient condition were predicted. It is found that, there is a high resistance to the heat transferring between bolts and flange due to the existence of bolt holes. Consequently, temperature hysteresis effect appears in the bolt relative to the surrounding flange which leads to a great stress amplitude in the bolt section under transient condition. Furthermore, both the transient temperature and pressure fluctuations have great influences on the axial separation at flange sealing interface. In detail, a rapid pressure rising possibly can make a fast increasing of the axial separation curve. Particularly, under the cycle transient condition comprised of start-up and shut-down, the axial separation at flange sealing interface shows characteristic of periodic cycle curve. The cycle curve rises slowly versus cycle number and has almost the same shape in each cycle. However, after 10 cycles, both the cycle curve and the local plastic deformation at flange surfacing layer reach stable stages. In addition, the distribution of overall plastic deformation trends to be uniform.

Purpose – Some economic theories have influenced the reform of the socialist open economy with Chinese characteristics. As a new practice of socialism, an open economy is not only driven by China’s productivity level and people’s living standards but also regulated by the law of commodity production and value. Design/methodology/approach – It was popular to participate in economic globalization for most countries in the second half of the 20th century, but not all of them could benefit from it. Findings – The key to the success of the open-economy reform with Chinese characteristics lies in learning from and innovating the comparative advantage theory, thus forming an organic whole of the open economy, including the core of correctly handling the relationship between the government and the market, the method of gradual reform, the breakthrough point of transforming the mode of economic development, and serving people all the time. Originality/value – Achieving internal and external coordination through the combination of opening-up and independence is a critical principle of China’s economic opening-up, which not only effectively safeguards national interests but also actively promotes the construction of a new global order.

Industrial software integration is the foundation to support the production and digital transformation of industrial enterprises. It is also the core for realizing product lifecycle management. Identification resolution path is key to realizing the interoperability of all industrial elements and thus conducive to the deep integration of industrial software. In view of the data and business islands faced by industrial software integration in China, we analyze the demand for industrial software integration from perspectives of product design and production, quality information traceability, and production–financial integration. Subsequently, we examine the development history of industrial software integration in China and abroad and summarize the challenges from the aspect of data interoperability and full-set software procurement. Additionally, we propose a development idea of combining industrial software integration with identification resolution, focusing on physical gateway, interface platform, and cloud component technology; the idea includes the technical architecture, identification resolution technology path, data management mode, and core functions. Finally, we suggest to promote the coupling of the identification resolution system with industrial software from the aspect of development of industry drive, corporate culture, and talent support.

CD8+ tissue-resident memory T (CD8+ Trm) cells play key roles in many immune-inflammation-related diseases. However, their characteristics in the pathological process of oral lichen planus (OLP) remains unclear. Therefore, we investigated the function of CD8+ Trm cells in the process of OLP. By using single-cell RNA sequencing profiling and spatial transcriptomics, we revealed that CD8+ Trm cells were predominantly located in the lamina propria adjacent to the basement membrane and were significantly increased in patients with erosive oral lichen planus (EOLP) compared to those with non-erosive oral lichen planus (NEOLP). Furthermore, these cells displayed enhanced cytokine production, including IFN-γ (Interferon-gamma, a pro-inflammatory signaling molecule), TNF-α (Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha, a cytokine regulating inflammation), and IL-17 (Interleukin-17, a cytokine involved in immune response modulation), in patients with EOLP. And our clinical cohort of 1-year follow-up was also supported the above results in RNA level and protein level. In conclusion, our study provided a novel molecular mechanism for triggering OLP erosion by CD8+ Trm cells to secrete multiple cytokines, and new insight into the pathological development of OLP.

Marine hydrates mainly occur in clayey silt sediments, and their occurrence environment has the characteristics of a high clay content and low permeability, which seriously inhibit an increase in the gas production rate. This study presents a new method, the high-pressure jet breaking and sand filling method, to transform the natural gas hydrate (NGH) reservoir near the production well, whereby a water jet is used to form an area of sediment with large particle diameters and high permeability. Based on indoor experiments, we report the characteristics of hydrate formation, decomposition, and phase equilibrium in the transition area formed by this method under different sand particle sizes and mass fractions. The addition of sand at a high mass fraction with a large particle diameter significantly shortened the time required for rapid hydrate formation, prolonged slow hydrate formation, and reduced the increase in temperature. With an increase in the mass fraction of large-diameter sand, the free water content of pores increased, which made it easier to form hydrates with large particles, thus delaying the hydrate decomposition rate. The phase equilibrium curves of hydrates in clayey silt sediments with sand added at mass fractions of 30% and 50% were close to that of bulk hydrate in pure water at lower temperatures. As the temperature increased, the phase equilibrium curves gradually approached those of hydrates in clayey silt sediments.

Abstract To optimize the optimal nozzle structure and multiple nozzle arrangement for hydrate jet crushing and to promote the development of solid fluidization extraction technology for shallow unconformity hydrate in China’s oceans, the submerged jet flow field of six commonly used nozzle structures in the downhole in-situ jet crushing process was analyzed on the basis of the solid fluidization extraction process in double-layer pipes, and the effect of the jet hole arrangement on the overflow performance of hydrate slurry in the outer annulus of double-layer pipes was also investigated. It was demonstrated that tapered straight nozzles were preferably selected as the nozzle type for hydrate solid fluidization mining process based on jet core stage length, jet energy dissipation rate, and jet fluid axial velocity. In the meantime, the optimum arrangement of the nozzles was preferred on the basis of the annular pressure drop and the flow resistance coefficient, with the number of single circle not higher than 3 and the axial spacing of the nozzles not lower than 50 mm. This study can provide a theoretical basis for nozzle selection and tool design for the solid fluidization jet crushing process of marine unconformable hydrates.

Acute lung injury (ALI) is a severe respiratory disorder occurring in critical care medicine, with high rates of mortality and morbidity. This study aims to screen the potential biomarkers for ALI.

Improving the cognition and numerical accuracy of stability failure is urgent for carrying forward the direct assessment stability of the new-generation performance-based criteria for intact stability issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 2020. Firstly, the CFD method utilizing commercial software is developed for predicting stability failure in following seas. The CFD method employed overlapping grid techniques to achieve coupled motion calculations with a free-running model. The actual propeller rate, the implemented auto polite course-keeping, the coupled effect of the ship hull–propeller–rudder, and the instantaneous wet hull are considered in the CFD method. Secondly, a comprehensive 6-DOF mathematical model, employing the MMG framework and potential flow theory, is utilized to predict stability failure in the following waves. The radiation and diffraction forces are calculated around the mean wet hull using an enhanced strip method, and the FK and hydrostatic forces are calculated around the exact wet hull in waves. Thirdly, the occurrence of pure stability loss and subsequent large roll motions or capsizing for the ONR tumblehome ship are simulated by the time domain CFD and potential flow method. Finally, the computed results are cross-referenced with the available experimental data, and the trends of maximum roll angle are found to be consistent with the test data. Additionally, the alterations in thrust and torque exerted by the twin rudders and propellers are assessed across various sailing speeds, as well as the characteristics of the flow field distribution around the hull and appendages during capsizing at the critical sailing speed, which are newly analyzed by the CFD method.

Ethiopia and China share a common educational agenda in cultivating and obtaining competent vocational graduates who fulfill the need of the modern, technologically advanced industrial workplace. Unlike most evidence, the present study adopted Self-determination Theory to understand Ethiopian and Chinese higher Vocational education and Training (VET) college students' learning motivation. Hence, this study recruited and interviewed 10 volunteers senior higher VET students from each setting to unfold their satisfaction with psychological needs. The study's main finding affirms that although both groups felt the autonomy of choosing the vocational field they sought to master, their learning process was submissive to their henpecked teaching method, which ultimately restrained the participants' feeling of competence for being enclosed in less practical training space. As per the study findings, we forward feasible policy and practical implications suggested for meeting the motivational needs of VET students and promoting learning stability.

The rapid development of global transportation network and information communication technology has an important impact on regional economy and social spatial structure, and promotes the transformation of regional research paradigm. The coordinated development of urban agglomeration and regional functional linkage from the perspective of flow space has become an important issue in urban regional research. Different from the traditional central place theory that emphasizes the differences in scale and level of cities within the region, the flow space perspective helps to understand how the regional factor flow organizes cities of all scales and levels in the form of network with the background of space-time compression, and promotes the functional linkage and coordinated development within the region on the basis of reshaping the urban spatial relationship. Based on the literature review of relevant research at home and abroad, this paper constructs an analytical framework for the relationship between regional spatial factor flow and function collaboration, and discusses the regional function collaborative mechanism of urban agglomeration from three aspects: "how to reshape the regional spatial network by factor flow", "how to restructure the urban hierarchy by infrastructure connectivity" and "how to strengthen the regional functional linkage by functional complementarity". On this basis, taking the urban agglomeration of San Francisco Bay Area as an example, this paper discusses the evolution progress of San Francisco Bay Area from "single center agglomeration development" to "double-core symbiotic evolution", "polycentric development" and "generic network functional linkage development" from three aspects of liquidity, connectivity and complementarity. The study found that: 1) In the first stage (before the 1930s), fact flow strengthened the connection between San Francisco and Oakland, connectivity improved the status of Oakland, and functional complementarity promoted the symbiosis of the two cities. 2) In the second stage (1940s-1980s), the flow and converge of factors towards the south bay promoted the tripartite growth of San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose, transport connectivity strengthened the core-peripheral connection, and factor convection and functional reciprocity promoted the multi-center linkage development. 3) In the third stage (since 1980s), factor distribution and transportation network connectivity contributed to the generic network spatial structure, dislocation and complementary development strengthened the regional circulation and realized the functional linkage of the Bay Area. Based on the perspective of flow space, this paper reviews the basic situation of the development of world-class bay area urban agglomerations and excavates the internal mechanism of regional functional coordinated development driven by factor flow, which has reference significance for guiding China's cities from competition to competition and cooperation and establishing a new mechanism of regional coordinated development. The research shows that to promote the development of China's bay area in the future, we should: 1) Comply with the law of factor flow, innovate the mechanism and remove barriers to factor mobility, and promote the free flow of factors inside and outside the region; 2) Give play to the guiding role of the government and non-governmental organizations to improve the connectivity of software and hardware infrastructure within the region; 3) Explore the regional consultation mechanism, break through the regional administrative barriers, and formulate the regional development strategy of functional complementation and linkage with the help of multiple subject forces.

Grape is one of the most economically important fruits and is cultivated worldwide, but the viticulture faces challenges of various biotic and abiotic stresses. WRKY transcription factors play important roles in regulating plant responses to these stresses, in addition to their roles in plant growth. Genome-wide identification and functional analysis of grape WRKY family genes have been conducted in recent years. However, different approaches were found in naming the grape WRKY family gene members among these reports, which causes a great deal of confusion and has become a barrier in the sharing of research findings in the research community. Here we attempt to comprehensively review the research progress on grape WRKY family transcription factors, and attempt to assign unified names for them.

The interim guidelines of second-generation intact stability criteria and their explanatory note were issued by the IMO in 2022. However, due to their complexity, the direct stability assessments of broaching and loss of stability still need to be made easier for users. Therefore, the mathematical models for broaching and loss of stability in astern seas are studied in this paper. Firstly, a time-domain 6 DOF numerical model is adopted, combining seakeeping and maneuvering mathematical models. Secondly, the hydrodynamic forces, heave, and pitch motions are obtained by an enhanced strip method with the upright hull at different speeds in the frequency domain. Then, their time-domain values are transferred from their frequency-domain values with the speed variation considered. Thirdly, the time-domain varied wet hull in waves is captured by the 6 DOF ship motion. Then, the Froude–Krylov and the hydrostatic forces in the surging, swaying, rolling, and yawing directions are simulated considering the wave pressure around the wet hull. Fourthly, the exposure of the twin rudders and the wave-particle velocity are considered for predicting broaching. Finally, the calculated results are compared with the published results. The results show that the time-domain 6 DOF coupled numerical model can be unified for predicting broaching and loss of stability in the astern seas.

Exposure to air pollution will pose a serious threat to human health. Accurate air pollution forecasting can help people to reduce exposure risks and promote environmental pollution control, and it is also an extremely important part of smart city management. However, the current deep-learning-based models for air pollution forecasting usually focus on prediction accuracy improvement without considering the model interpretability. These models usually fail to explain the complex relationships between prediction targets and external factors (e.g., ozone concentration (O3), wind speed, temperature variation, etc.) The relationships between variables in air pollution time series prediction problems are very complex, with intricate relationships between different types of variables, often with nonlinear multivariate dependencies. To address these problems mentioned above, we proposed a hybrid autoformer network with a genetic algorithm optimization to predict air pollution temporal variation as well as establish interpretable relationships between pollutants and external variables. Furthermore, an elite variable voting operator was designed to better filter out more important external factors such as elite variables, so as to perform a more refined search for elite variables. Moreover, we designed an archive storage operator to reduce the effect of neural network model initialization on the search for external variables. Finally, we conducted comprehensive experiments on the Ma’anshan air pollution dataset to verify the proposed model, where the prediction accuracy was improved by 2–8%, and the selection of model influencing factors was more interpretable.

Downy mildew caused by oomycete pathogen Plasmopara viticola is a devastating disease of grapevine. P. viticola secretes an array of RXLR effectors to enhance virulence. One of these effectors, PvRXLR131, has been reported to interact with grape (Vitis vinifera) BRI1 kinase inhibitor (VvBKI1). BKI1 is conserved in Nicotiana benthamiana and Arabidopsis thaliana. However, the role of VvBKI1 in plant immunity is unknown. Here, we found transient expression of VvBKI1 in grapevine and N. benthamiana increased its resistance to P. viticola and Phytophthora capsici, respectively. Furthermore, ectopic expression of VvBKI1 in Arabidopsis can increase its resistance to downy mildew caused by Hyaloperonospora arabidopsidis. Further experiments revealed that VvBKI1 interacts with a cytoplasmic ascorbate peroxidase, VvAPX1, an ROS-scavenging protein. Transient expression of VvAPX1 in grape and N. benthamiana promoted its resistance against P. viticola, and P. capsici. Moreover, VvAPX1 transgenic Arabidopsis is more resistant to H. arabidopsidis. Furthermore, both VvBKI1 and VvAPX1 transgenic Arabidopsis showed an elevated ascorbate peroxidase activity and enhanced disease resistance. In summary, our findings suggest a positive correlation between APX activity and resistance to oomycetes and that this regulatory network is conserved in V. vinifera, N. benthamiana, and A. thaliana.

Abstract Background Mitochondrial transcription termination factor (mTERF) is a large gene family which plays a significant role during plant growth under various environmental stresses. However, knowledge of mTERF genes in grapevine (Vitis L.) is limited. Results In this research, a comprehensive analysis of grape mTERF (VvmTERF) genes, including chromosome locations, phylogeny, protein motifs, gene structures, gene duplications, synteny analysis and expression profiles, was conducted. As a result, a total of 25 mTERF genes were identified from the grape genome, which are distributed on 13 chromosomes with diverse densities and segmental duplication events. The grape mTERF gene family is classified into nine clades based on phylogenetic analysis and structural characteristics. These VvmTERF genes showed differential expression patterns in response to multiple phytohormone treatments and biotic stresses, including treatments with abscisic acid and methyl jasmonate, and inoculation of Plasmopara viticola and Erysiphe necator. Conclusions These research findings, as the first of its kind in grapevine, will provide useful information for future development of new stress tolerant grape cultivars through genetic manipulation of VvmTERF genes.

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) finalized the second-generation intact stability criteria in 2022. However, an accurate and practical numerical method for stability loss has yet to be established. Therefore, a 6 DOF numerical model is further improved based on the previous study. Firstly, the rolling motion is simulated using a seakeeping model instead of the previous maneuvering mathematical model. Secondly, the roll-restoring variation is calculated directly considering the instantaneous wet hull instead of the previous pre-calculated method. Thirdly, transferring frequency to time is used to obtain heave and pitch motions, further considering yaw angle and sway velocity. Fourthly, the dynamic forces for sway, roll, and yaw motions are calculated, further considering the effect of the speed variation. Fifthly, the 6 DOF motions are used to determine the instantaneous wet hull, and the FK force and the hydrostatic force are calculated by the body’s exact method. Finally, a new conclusion is obtained that the sway and yaw motions’ effect on the ship speed loss, the relative longitudinal wave profile by the speed loss, the rudder angles, and the accompanying rudder forces in the rolling direction are significant, and much more than their centrifugal force or coupled force in the rolling direction.

Wine is a kind of beverage with a variety of compounds beneficial to human health, which makes it popular all over the world and it contributes importantly to economics. The excessive oxidation of wine has always been a major problem in wine production and storage. Unlike traditional wines which are made from Eurasian grapes, wines made from muscadine grapes (Muscadinia rotundifolia Michx.) can maintain their sensory qualities under natural oxidation conditions for relatively long periods of time despite the insight mechanisms still being unclear. In this study, two muscadine wines, Carlos (CAL) and Noble (NOB), and two traditional wines, Chardonnay (CH) and Marselan (MAS), were chosen for comparison of their compositional alteration during oxidation, in order to analyze the principal components contributing to the antioxidant characteristics of muscadine wines. The DPPH, ORAC, color intensity, and total phenolic content changes during the natural oxidation process were analyzed. Six core significantly changed metabolites (SCMs, avicularin, beta-lactose, delphinidin-3-O-glucoside, ellagic acid, myricetin, and 4-methylcatechol [p < 0.05]) related to the oxidation process were determined. In addition, HPLC–MS was also used to identify pyrogallol which is a unique antioxidant compound in muscadine wine. The present work aims to reveal the crucial antioxidant compounds of muscadine wine and provide valuable information and a new platform for future research on wine oxidation.

Plenty and proper nutrition of national people is conducive to promoting the health of Chinese people, which is an inevitable requirement for sustainable economic and social development, continuous improvement of the people's sense of gain, happiness and security. It is both the basic condition for decisively building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the common pursuit for all of the people. The article deeply studied and elaborate the strategic significance and current challenges of improvement of national people nutrition, as well as the corresponding measures be taken in next stage. It is hoped that the present article can give some enlightenment to the efforts of further improvement of national nutrition and the boost of health China in future.

BACKGROUND Quantitative analysis of ancient glass and vitreous materials has important significance for studying its production time, origin, source of raw materials and production process. Compared with traditional analysis methods (eg. EMPA, EDX-SEM), LA-ICP-MS can be used to analyze the primary, minor and trace elements in samples quickly and accurately. OBJECTIVES To investigate the composition of archaeological glass and discriminate its sources. METHODS The element concentration in ancient glass and vitreous materials were determined by LA-ICP-MS. The surface morphologies of pits in glasses were displayed by AFM. RESULTS The matrix effect among NIST610 and Corning A-D was insignificant under 193nm laser system and this experimental condition. A quantification strategy based on NIST610 and normalization to 100% (w/w) was suitable for analyzing Corning A-D and ancient glass samples. Study on different ablation modes in the experiment is helpful for the establishment of different experimental conditions to meet the requirement of different studies. CONCLUSIONS Unearthed samples were analyzed, which provided data support for the source of the product.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, food safety issues have been highly valued by the Party Central Committee and the State Council and the situation of food safety has continued to improve in China. But the uncertainty of unknown food safety risks is still increasing. The outbreaks of the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia happened nationwide in 2020 warned that we should strengthen ability of early identification and warning of major risks and develop mechanisms in food safety work. The present paper mainly studies the issues of institutional guarantees, operating mechanisms, and capacity building on food risk rapid identification and alert system. And some advice on strengthening this system are proposed.

Grapevine: Genomic region linked to fungal resistance in Chinese varietal Researchers in China have discovered the first region of the grapevine genome known to confer resistance to ripe rot, a fruit disease caused by fungal pathogens. A team led by Shiren Song and Jiang Lu from Shanghai Jiao Tong University crossbred a European grape species that’s susceptible to ripe rot with a Chinese grape species that’s resistant to the disease. They inoculated the progeny’s leaves with the fungus and searched for genetic differences that could explain variation in rot symptoms. In this way, the researchers identified a segment of chromosome 14 from the Chinese Amur grape, Vitis amurensis ‘Shuang Hong’, that accounted for about 20% of difference in resistance capacity between the two grape species. This information could help breeders select more rot-resistant grapevines in the future.

Bladder cancer is one of the most common and highly vascularized cancers. Here the authors perform a whole-genome analysis in urothelial bladder carcinomas and identify recurrent genetic alterations in a set of angiogenesis genes, facilitating the understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying pathological angiogenesis in this type of cancer.

Aiming at the high-performance operation requirements of a bearingless induction motor (BIM), a direct levitation force control strategy based on model prediction for the BIM is proposed. Based on mathematical models of the BIM, the flux linkage at the next moment is predicted according to the current observation value of the flux linkage of levitation force winding, and the objective function of the flux linkage is constructed to output the optimal flux linkage. Inverter drive control signals are generated from the SVPWM module to control the BIM levitation. In addition, to deal with the problem of the initial error caused by reverse electromotive force integration in the traditional observation of flux linkage during the process of motor control, an improved flux observer is introduced and applied to the control system. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy cannot only effectively improve the suspension stability of the rotor, but also enhance the anti-disturbance ability of the system in comparison to the traditional levitation force control. In the meantime, it has a good dynamic and static performance which verifies the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed control strategy.

In the 21st century, the traditional model of official development assistance (ODA) promoted by developed countries is faced with many challenges. One of them is the emergence of the “public-private partnership (PPP)” model for international development cooperation (IDC), which has become increasingly popular among developed countries and international organizations over the past decade. This article explores the origin, meaning, and mechanism of the PPP model, and discusses the major obstacles it encounters in practice. The article also compares PPP with China’s “development package” model, and puts forward some policy recommendations on China’s participation in IDC. Although China is a pioneer in carrying out public-private cooperation in international development, it needs to fully reflect on its experience, so as to formulate clearer guiding principles and management rules on public-private cooperation. It is also imperative for the country to set up relevant institutions and mechanisms to promote PPP practices.

Background: The present study aimed to explore the correlation between calcium-activated potassium channels, left atrial flow field mechanics, valvular atrial fibrillation (VAF), and thrombosis. The process of transforming mechanical signals into biological signals has been revealed, which offers new insights into the study of VAF. Methods: Computational fluid dynamics simulations use numeric analysis and algorithms to compute flow parameters, including turbulent shear stress (TSS) and wall pressure in the left atrium (LA). Real-time PCR and western blotting were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression of IKCa2.3/3.1, ATK1, and P300 in the left atrial tissue of 90 patients. Results: In the valvular disease group, the TSS and wall ressure in the LA increased, the wall pressure increased in turn in all disease groups, mainly near the mitral valve and the posterior portion of the LA, the increase in TSS was the most significant in each group near the mitral valve, and the middle and lower part of the back of the LA and the mRNA expression and protein expression levels of IKCa2.3/3.1, AKT1, and P300 increased (p < 0.05) (n = 15). The present study was preliminarily conducted to elucidate whether there might be a certain correlation between IKCa2.3 and LA hemodynamic changes. Conclusions: The TSS and wall pressure changes in the LA are correlated with the upregulation of mRNA and protein expression of IKCa2.3/3.1, AKT1, and P300.

Pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) is the cornerstone therapy of atrial fibrillation (AF). Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) is performed using a point-by-point method to achieve durable PVI. However, this procedure remains complex and time-consuming, and the long-term clinical outcomes are still not satisfactory. Recently, there has been increasing interest in the clinical application of high-power short-duration (HPSD) approaches in the field of RFCA. HPSD ablation, distinguishing it from the conventional ablation strategy, delivers RF energy at a high power and saves the dwell time at each site. It is unknown whether the HPSD approach can bring some gratifying changes in the field of RF energy ablation. A number of experimental studies and clinical studies have been conducted regarding this topic. The review aimed to summarize the research findings and evaluate the procedural efficiency, safety, and clinical outcomes of the HPSD approach based on the evidence available to date.
