Herein, a magnetic nanocomposite is synthesized using ZIF-8, g-C3N4, and MnFe2O4 (g-C3N4/ZIF-8/MnFe2O4) as photocatalyst for the tetracycline hydrochloride photodegradation. Characterization of the nanocomposite was verified with various methods containing XRD, FT-IR, FE-SEM, TEM, EDS, elemental mapping, DRS, PL, and EIS. Then, its application as photocatalysts for the tetracycline hydrochloride degradation is studied under visible light illumination. Using this photocatalyst, after 60 min, the conversion of tetracycline hydrochloride, is measured to be 98.8%. Also, average apparent reaction rate constant of photodegradation of tetracycline hydrochloride by g-C3N4/ZIF-8/MnFe2O4 nanocomposite was 9.7, 12.1, 15.6, 3.1, 3.7, and 4.8 times those of g-C3N4, ZIF-8, MnFe2O4, g-C3N4/ZIF-8, g-C3N4/MnFe2O4, and ZIF-8/MnFe2O4, respectively. In the radical scavenger, and ESR experiments, ˙OH, and h+ were exhibited to be major species in the photocatalytic degradation process. In this project, we have studied the possibility of using the C2N Monolayer (ML) for sensing and adsorption of several chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) derivatives from the gaseous environment. The density functional theory (DFT) approach was applied to optimize the geometrical structures of the isolated C2N ML and its complexes with of CH3F, CH2F2, CHF3, CH3Cl, CH2Cl2, CHCl3, and CF2Cl2 air pollutants gases. The results of the thermodynamics of adsorption indicated that C2N ML could adsorb all of the considered CFCs except CF2Cl2. Also, the recovery time calculations showed that in all cases (from CHF3 with the recovery time of 3.45(10− 4) s to CF2Cl2 with the recovery time of 9.47(10− 12) s) the C2N ML is a good recoverable sorbent. The results of the conductivity calculations indicate that the presence of CH3F, and CH3Cl increase the σ value for the isolated C2N ML from 1.94(10− 29) S m− 1 to 3.16(10− 29) S m− 1, and 3.07(10− 29) S m− 1, respectively. In the current years, gas–liquid membrane contactors (GLMCs) have been introduced as a promising, versatile and easy-to-operate technology for mitigating the emission of major greenhouse contaminants (i.e., CO2 and H2S) to the ecosystem. This paper tries to computationally study the role of membrane pores wettability on the removal performance of CO2 inside the HFMC. To fulfill this purpose, a mathematical model based on finite element procedure (FEP) has been employed to solve the momentum and mass transport equations in the partial-wetting (50% wetting of micropores) and non-wetting (0% wetting of micropores) modes of membrane during operation. Additionally, a comprehensive simulation was ensembled to predict the results. In this research, 2-amino-2-methyl-l-propanol (AMP) has been employed as a relatively novel alkanolamine absorbent to separate CO2 form CO2/N2 mixture. Analysis of the results implied that the wetting of membrane micropores significantly deteriorated the removal efficiency due to the enhancing mass transfer resistance towards transferring CO2 (75% in the non-wetting mode > 8% considering 50% wetting of micropores). An efficient, facile, and one‐pot route has been utilized for the synthesis of a new series of 3,7‐dimethyl‐1‐(5‐(2‐(4‐substitutedphenylthiazol‐2‐yl)hydrazono)hexyl)‐1H‐purine‐2,6(3H,7H)‐dione (4a–4j). The pentoxifylline (1) as a novel precursor, thiosemicarbazide, and a variety of phenacyl bromides have been employed to generate a newer pentoxifylline‐thiazole adduct using PPA as the green catalyst at reflux conditions to afford a high yield and pure product. All the synthesized compounds were purified using chromatographic methods and characterized by spectroscopic techniques (1H and 13C NMR, MS, and IR). Antioxidant activity was assessed using a DPPH free radical scavenging assay, and it was observed that compounds with cyano functional groups and electron‐donating groups showed notably higher potency, with IC50 values around 400 µM, while those with halogens and nitro functional groups displayed moderate efficacy (IC50 ≈600 µM). These results were compared to the standard ascorbic acid, which had an IC50 of 382.54 ± 5.09 µM. Molecular docking was performed on the myeloperoxidase (MPO) enzyme to explore the mechanistic basis of antioxidant activity, providing valuable insights into the thermodynamic interactions that contribute to binding affinity. Plant-derived carbon dots (P-CDs) are gaining attention in environmental remediation due to their cost-effectiveness, availability, and lower toxicity compared with chemically synthesized carbon dots. This review comprehensively examines the recent advancements in the synthesis and application of P-CDs, with a particular emphasis on their efficacy in the sensing of heavy metals, which are among the most pervasive environmental contaminants. A detailed comparative analysis is presented by evaluating the performance of P-CDs against their chemically synthesized counterparts based on key parameters, such as optimal operating conditions and detection limits. Furthermore, sensing the potential of P-CDs towards every heavy metal ion has been discussed with in-depth mechanistic insights. Additionally, this review explores the industrial applications and future directions of P-CDs. The most practical method of drug delivery is oral administration because it has a high rate of patient compliance. However, there are significant obstacles to effective oral medication delivery, including low drug enzymatic/metabolic stability and poor water solubility. Especially in the development of drug formulations for the treatment of obesity and hypertension. This research article aims to formulate solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) of Fucoxanthin and Ramipril by the emulsification and ultrasonication methods. The nanoparticles size, polydispersity index, and the zeta potential, among other parameters, were computed. In addition, FT-IR analysis of compatibility tests between the SLNs and the loaded drug and in vitro drug release experiments were carried out. Lipid-based nano preparations have drawn plenty of interest as efficient vehicles to increase the oral bioavailability of these kinds of medications. We observed that lipid nanoparticles, have enhanced the oral bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs used for obesity and hypertension.
