She had an erythematous eruption, particularly concentrated on the abdominal striae with umbilical sparing and involvement of limbs and extremities. Skin biopsy of the lesions on the lower abdomen, showed superficial perivascular infiltrates with occasional neutrophils and eosinophils. Both direct and indirect immunofloresence assays were negative. The patient was ultimately treated with topical clobetasol butyrate and oral chlorpheniramine for pruritus. Within a week, the lesions and the itchings had disappeared completely."n"nConclusion: Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy are often, but not always, seen during the third trimester of pregnancy, but sometimes they present in postpartum period without any prior manifestations during pregnancy.

Introduction: Increased blood lipids are an important factor in the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases and heart attacks in humans. The aim of this study is to compare the effect of the traditional medicine product Lipexan with placebo along with Gemfibrozil on blood lipid indicators. Material and methods: This study was conducted as a double-blind randomized clinical trial with a parallel design, on 109 patients with hyperlipidemia. After entering the study, patients were randomly divided into two groups receiving Lipexan herbal capsules (containing garlic, sumac, apple cider vinegar, fenugreek and dill) and placebo capsules. Both groups received Gemfibrozil capsules at the same time and were prescribed the same diet. The duration of treatment was 40 days. The lipid profile of the patients was checked before and after taking the drugs. Results: In the Lipexan drug treatment group, the average blood triglyceride before taking the drug was 362.2 mg/dl, which reached 243.1 mg/dl after taking the drug. Also, the average blood cholesterol before and after taking the drug was 201.4 and 187.7, respectively. Statistically, there was a significant decrease in triglyceride, total cholesterol, Low Density Lipoprotein, High Density Lipoprotein, fasting blood sugar and alkaline Phosphatase after taking Lipexan drug (P<0.05). Conclusion: The present study shows that Lipexan herbal capsule is effective in reducing blood fats and lipid profile in hyperlipidemia patients compared to placebo capsule. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Thin dense Pd composite membrane was prepared via electroless plating method. Pd nanoparticles embedded polyethylene glycol (PEG) was used in titanium dioxide-bohemite suspension during the activation step of electroless plating (ELP) method. This work indicates a model for hydrogen transport in the synthesized Pd composite membrane and compares with the experimental data at 0–100% Ar–H2 binary gas and different pressure about 3 to 5 bar. This model a combined of established equations including the external mass transfer in the multicomponent gaseous phases on feed sides (the Stefan–Maxwell equations) and the H2 transport in the Pd composite membrane (the Ward and Dao model in Pd layer and dusty gas model in the multilayered porous support). The contributions to the overall mass transfer resistance based on a combined experimental and modeling approach were identified. In this work, the highest resistance to mass transfer for the investigated conditions was diffusional resistance in the porous support. Our model calculations also indicated that by reducing the thickness of the Pd layer from 7 to 1 μm, the hydrogen gas flux is enhanced more than 30%. By reducing the thickness and tortuosity of the alumina support layer or by increasing its porosity, the H2 flux is also improved. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Link prediction is one of the methods of social network analysis. Bipartite networks are a type of complex network that can be used to model many natural events. In this study, a novel similarity measure for link prediction in bipartite networks is presented. Due to the fact that classical social network link prediction methods are less efficient and effective for use in bipartite network, it is necessary to use bipartite network-specific methods to solve this problem. The purpose of this study is to provide a centralized and comprehensive method based on the neighborhood structure that performs better than the existing classical methods. The proposed method consists of a combination of criteria based on the neighborhood structure. Here, the classical criteria for link prediction by modifying the bipartite network are defined. These modified criteria constitute the main component of the proposed similarity measure. In addition to low simplicity and complexity, this method has high efficiency. The simulation results show that the proposed method with a superiority of 0.5% over MetaPath, 1.32% over FriendLink, and 1.8% over Katz in the f-measure criterion shows the best performance.
