Abstract The characteristics of petroliferous plays in subtle traps within a sequence stratigraphic framework in the Dongying Depression are investigated in this study. Sand bodies within lowstand systems tracts (LSTs) of sequences, comprising incised-channel fills, sublacustrine fans, deltas in LSTs, controlled by syndepositional normal faults, and sand bodies within transgressive systems tracts (TSTs) to early highstand systems tracts (HSTs), consisting of beach bars, and turbidites, controlled by the prodelta slope, paleorelief, and syndepositional normal faults, are good subtle reservoirs. Mudstones and shale of deep lake subfacies in TSTs to early HSTs of sequences are source and cap rocks. Abnormal overpressure is the dominant dynamic factor for hydrocarbon migration from source rock to the subtle traps. Normal faults, sand bodies, and unconformities function as conduit systems. Sand bodies distributed in the abnormal overpressure source rocks within LSTs to early HSTs are petroliferous plays in lithologic traps. The petroliferous plays in stratigraphic traps are controlled by unconformities at margins of the Depression.

The Tuchengzi Formation is widely distributed in western Liaoning Province with a clear top and bottom. It is the focal area for the delineation of the terrestrial Jurassic–Cretaceous boundary in China. Based on continuous core samples taken from well YD1, detailed lithostratigraphic sequences and zircon uranium–lead (U-Pb) dating WERE used to investigate the Tuchengzi Formation. The zircon U-Pb ages of the tuff samples taken from the First and Third Members of the Tuchengzi Formation ranged from 153.8 to 137.16 Ma, indicating that they were formed in the late Middle Jurassic–Early Cretaceous. Dating results from the bottom of the Second Member of the Tuchengzi Formation indicate that the sedimentary time of the stratum is no later than 145.7 ± 2.1 Ma. We concluded that the Jurassic–Cretaceous boundary of the Jinyang Basin in western Liaoning province may be located at the interface at a depth of 464 m in well YD1. This conclusion is consistent with the Jurassic–Cretaceous boundary that has been presumed by other researchers based on paleontological assemblage features found in recent years, and can provide useful geological marker beds for the future study of the terrestrial Jurassic–Cretaceous boundary. In addition, the authors also systematically sorted the potential development areas and layers of the terrestrial Jurassic–Cretaceous boundary line, which may also provide useful geological marker beds for the future study of the terrestrial Jurassic–Cretaceous boundary.

Two new benzyl derivatives, aspergentisyl A (1) and aspergentisyl B (2), as well as one new naphthoquinone derivative, aspergiodiquinone (3), together with seven known prenylated benzaldehyde derivatives (4–10) were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Aspergillus glaucus HB1-19. The structures of these compounds were characterized based on 1D and 2D NMR spectra analyses and comparison with those reported in the literature. In addition, each isolate was tested for its 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical-scavenging property and all these compounds except compound 3 exhibited strong radical-scavenging activity. In the title complex, [Ni2(C13H11F2N6O)2(C2H3O2)2]·0.5CH3OH, there are two half-molecules in the asymmetric unit. The two centrosymmetrically related NiII atoms, each attached to an acetate ligand, are linked by two fluconazole ligands. Each NiII atom is six-coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by two N atoms of the triazole groups and two bridging O atoms from two different fluconazole ligands and two O atoms from a chelating acetate ligand. In the crystal structure, the half-occupied methanol solvent molecule is linked to a triazole group via an O—H...N hydrogen bond.

In the title complex, [Cu(C5H5N2O2)(C14H18N3O)(H2O)]·1.33H2O, the CuII ion is coordinated in a slightly distorted square-pyramidal environment. The basal plane is formed by two N atoms from a 2-(5-ethyl-2-pyridyl-κN)-4-isopropyl-4-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydroxyimidazol-1-ide ligand and by one O atom and one N atom from a 5-methyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate ligand. The apical position is occupied by a water molecule. In the crystal structure, O—H...O, O—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds lead to a three-dimensional supramolecular network.
