BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS) receivers on-board cannot give real-time positioning precision in tracking missile and carrier rocket. In this article, the dynamic filtered optimal estimation theory is applied to the highly dynamic on-board BDS ballistic parameter solution, an optimally constrained geometric dilution precision (GDOP) constellation selection strategy is proposed, a mathematical model based on dynamic filtered estimation for the ballistic determination and precision estimation of the on-board BDS is established, and an analysis of the on-board BDS positioning precision is carried out using the observed data. The calculation results show that the dynamic filter positioning algorithm is simple, practical, and reliable, which can effectively suppress and reduce the random errors of ballistic parameters and significantly improve the positioning precision, fully satisfying the needs of high dynamic and high precision navigation and positioning users, and has good application prospects.

Purpose The objective of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors applied in the small cell lung cancer patients with brain metastases. Methods We retrospectively reviewed the records of small cell lung cancer patients with brain metastases treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy for brain metastases with or without immune checkpoint inhibitors at our institution from January 2019 to January 2021. Patients were divided into two groups. In Group A, patients received chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In Group B, patients received chemotherapy, radiotherapy and at least four cycles of immunotherapy. Overall survival and intracranial progression-free survival were assessed using Kaplan-Meier estimates and Cox regression models. Results A total of 295 patients were enrolled in our study. By the end of the study (March 12, 2021), the median overall survival was 28.1 months among 64 patients in Group B, and 13.2months among 231 patients in Group A respectively (hazards ratio [HR] 0.450, 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.263–0.769, P = 0.004). Both the univariate analysis and multivariate analysis suggested two factors were significantly correlated with overall survival, including immunotherapy, presence of extracranial metastases. The median intracranial progression-free survival was 7.63months in Group A, 10.47 months in Group B (HR = 0.716, 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.326–0.973, P = 0.040). The intracranial objective response rate and intracranial disease control rate was similar between them. Conclusion Immunotherapy plus chemotherapy and radiotherapy for brain metastases showed promising efficacy for small cell lung cancer patients with brain metastases.

Drug resistance due to acquired mutations that constitutively activate c-KIT is a significant challenge in the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs). Herein, we identified 1-(5-ethyl-isoxazol-3-yl)-3-(4-{2-[6-(4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)pyrimidin-4-ylamino]-thiazol-5-yl}phenyl)urea (10a) as a potent inhibitor against unactivated and activated c-KIT. The binding of 10a induced rearrangements of the DFG motif, αC-helix, juxtamembrane domain, and the activation loop to switch the activated c-KIT back to its structurally inactive state. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first structural evidence demonstrating how a compound can inhibit the activated c-KIT by switching back to its inactive state through a sequence of conformational changes. Moreover, 10a can effectively inhibit various c-KIT mutants and the proliferation of several GIST cell lines. The distinct binding features and superior inhibitory potency of 10a, together with its excellent efficacy in the xenograft model, establish 10a as worthy of further clinical evaluation in the advanced GISTs.

In this study, both packed-bed (PB) and rotating PB (RPB) absorbers with a packed-bed stripper were used in a pilot plant for the removal of carbon dioxide (CO2) with 30 wt% monoethanolamine (MEA) as the solvent. The flue gas feed is the combustion product of the blast furnace gas from a steel mill containing approximately 30% of CO2. Both PB and RPB exhibit the same performance for the capture of CO2 with the same amount of energy consumption, but the RPB has a volume of approximately one-third that of PB absorber. The results obtained from experiments using ∼20 wt% MEA showed good agreement with those obtained from simulation using an Aspen rate-based model for PB and an Aspen custom modeler for RPB. These results demonstrated the feasibility of using a RPB for decreasing the size of absorber under relevant process conditions for capturing CO2.

Stroke is a major public health issue worldwide because of the high risk of unavoidable disability leading to a noteworthy burden of the patients themselves, the families and the society [1].

Error diffusion is an efficient halftone method for mainly being applied on printers. The promising high image quality and processing efficiency endorse it as a popular and competitive candidate in halftoning and multitoning applications. The multitoning is an extension of halftoning, adopting more than two-tone levels for the improvement of the similarity between an original image and the converted image. Yet, the banding effect, indicating the areas with discontinuous tone level, disturbs the visual perception, and thus seriously degrades image quality. To solve the banding effect, the tone-replacement strategy is proposed in this paper. As documented in the experimental results, excellent tone-similarity as that of the original image and promising reconstructed dot-distribution can be provided simultaneously. Comparing with the former banding-free methods, the apparent improvements/features suggest that the proposed method can be a very competitive candidate for multitoning applications.

This study aims to explore the factors determining consumer loyalty to real estate agents. Based on the past literature regarding the factors of loyalty, the study considers physical attractiveness and intellectual competence combined with a traditional loyalty model in proposing its conceptual framework. It then estimates the relevant parameters using a linear structural equation model (SEM). The subjects of the study consist of consumers in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, aged at least 20 years old who have experience in engaging the services of real estate companies during housing transactions. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed, with 268 valid ones being returned, for a valid return rate of 89.33%. According to the empirical results, physical attractiveness indirectly influences satisfaction through trust and intellectual competence, with satisfaction in turn affecting customer loyalty. The effect of physical attractiveness on satisfaction through trust is more significant than its effect on satisfaction through intellectual competence. These findings show that the relationship among physical attractiveness, intellectual competence, and trust plays an important role in determining satisfaction and loyalty. Past studies related to loyalty introduced various factors of loyalty, however, they rarely explored the effects of physical attractiveness and intellectual competence on loyalty. That is the difference between this study and past research.

Atmospheric pressure plasma jet was applied to grow 10 mol% gadolinia-doped ceria (10GDC) films on poly-crystalline 8 mol% yttria-stabilized zirconia (8YSZ) via precursor solutions of nitrate salts. The morphology of as-deposited gadolinia-doped ceria (GDC) film represented interconnected particles with irregular shapes covered on the 8YSZ substrates. The mixing Ce 4 + /Ce 3 + valence state and oxygen deficiency (O/Ce + Gd: 1.75) in as-deposited films were proven by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy quantification study. As increasing the sintering temperature over 1300 °C, the interdiffusion between 10GDC film and 8YSZ substrate occurred due to the formation of (GDC + YSZ) solution analyzed by X-ray diffraction and Raman analyses, which resulted in the degradation of the total conductivity of electrolytes. For the application of solid oxide fuel cell, 10GDC film sintered at 1300 °C for 2 h with a comparable conductivity could be feasibly applied as the diffusion barrier between 8YSZ electrolyte and cathode materials for the prevention of interdiffusion.

Look-up table (LUT) halftoning is an efficient way to construct halftone images and approximately simulate the dot distribution of the learned halftone image set. In this paper, a general mechanism named multiple look-up table (MLUT) halftoning is proposed to generate the halftones of direct binary search (DBS), whereas the high efficient characteristic of the LUT is still preserved. In the MLUT, the standard deviation is adopted as an important feature to classify various tables. In addition, the proposed quick standard deviation evaluation is employed to yield an extremely low computational complexity in calculating the standard deviation. In the parameter optimization, the autocorrelation is adopted because it can fully characterize the periodicity of dot distribution. Experimental results demonstrate that the dot distribution generated by the proposed method approximates to that of the DBS, which enables the proposed scheme as a very competitive candidate in the copying and printing industry.

Along with the development of Internet/Intranet application, more and more sensitive data is transmitted through the network. In order to prevent the critical data from being divulged and guarantee the security of information, we should pay more attention to the surveillance of network traffic. With this motivation, we present an efficient TCP flow reassembling algorithm which is the key of dataflow processing. Through this method, it is possible to get a whole idea of every TCP flow and providing a good reference to judgment. Testing of a prototype based on PF_RING demonstrated that our mechanism take a good performance in linux kernel 2.6.28.
