The discovery of superconductivity at 80 K under high pressure in La$_3$Ni$_2$O$_7$ presents the groundbreaking confirmation that high-$T_c$ superconductivity is a property of strongly correlated materials beyond cuprates. We use density functional theory (DFT) calculations of the band structure of La$_3$Ni$_2$O$_7$ under pressure to verify that the low-energy bands are composed almost exclusively of Ni 3$d_{x^2-y^2}$ and O 2$p$ orbitals. We deduce that the Ni 3$d_{z^2}$ orbitals are essentially decoupled by the geometry of the high-pressure structure and by the effect of the Ni Hund coupling being strongly suppressed, which results from the enhanced interlayer antiferromagnetic interaction between $d_{z^2}$ orbitals and the strong intralayer hybridization of the $d_{x^2-y^2}$ orbitals with O 2$p$. By introducing a tight-binding model for the Fermi surfaces and low-energy dispersions, we arrive at a bilayer $t$-$t_\perp$-$J$ model with strong interlayer hopping, which we show is a framework unifying La$_3$Ni$_2$O$_7$ with cuprate materials possessing similar band structures, particularly the compounds La$_2$CaCu$_2$O$_6$, Pb$_2$Sr$_2$YCu$_3$O$_8$, and EuSr$_2$Cu$_2$NbO$_8$. We use a renormalized mean-field theory to show that these systems should have ($d$+$is$)-wave superconductivity, with a dominant $d$-wave component and the high $T_c$ driven by the near-optimally doped $\beta$ band, while the $\alpha$ band adds an $s$-wave component that should lead to clear experimental signatures., Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures

After completing the design and training phases, deploying a deep learning model onto specific hardware is essential before practical implementation. Targeted optimizations are necessary to enhance the model's performance by reducing inference latency. Auto-scheduling, an automated technique offering various optimization options, proves to be a viable solution for large-scale auto-deployment. However, the low-level code generated by auto-scheduling resembles hardware coding, potentially hindering human comprehension and impeding manual optimization efforts. In this ongoing study, we aim to develop an enhanced visualization that effectively addresses the extensive profiling metrics associated with auto-scheduling. Synthetic active colloidal systems are being studied extensively because of the diverse and often unusual phenomena these nonequilibrium systems manifest, and their potential applications in fields ranging from biology to material science. Recent studies have shown that active colloidal motors that use enzymatic reactions for propulsion hold special promise for applications that require motors to carry out active sensing tasks in complicated biomedical environments. In such applications it would be desirable to have active colloids with some capability of computation so that they could act autonomously to sense their surroundings and alter their own dynamics to perform specific tasks. Here we describe how small chemical networks that make use of enzymatic chemical reactions on the colloid surface can be used to construct motor-based chemical logic gates. Some basic features of coupled enzymatic reactions that are responsible for propulsion and underlie the construction and function of chemical gates are described using continuum theory and molecular simulation. Examples are given that show how colloids with specific chemical logic gates can perform simple sensing tasks. Due to the diverse functions of different enzyme gates, operating alone or in circuits, the work presented here supports the suggestion that synthetic motors using such gates could be designed to operate in an autonomous way in order to complete complicated tasks.

By simulating the X-ray paths and the Chapman Model of a flat multi-channel plate and a curved multi-channel plate in the MATLAB, the field of view, local reflection efficiency, spherical aberration, point-spread function, collection efficiency of incident X-ray and peak-to-background ratio on the focal plane of the two devices were compared. At the same time, the advantages and disadvantages of the flat multi-channel plate and the curved multi-channel plate were compared.

The x-ray polycapillary lens is an optical device with good optic performance. Similar to the traditional X-ray polycapillary lens, square polycapillary slice lens was regulated on X-ray based on the full reflection principle of X-ray in the capillaries surfaces. According to its geometrical structure model and the X-ray tracing principle, a set of X-ray transmission procedures was established. Higher neutron current densities can provide convenience for neutron experiments. Using neutron optical focusing elements, large flux beams transported to sample can be achieved. As one kind of focusing elements, polycapillary lens is very suitable for neutron absorption experiments such as PGAA and NDP technology. At present, a Neutron Physics and Application Spectrometer was in construction in CSNS, which is the first pulsed neutron source in China. To provide some suggestions and ideas for the following design of enhanced PGAA or NDP instrument with polycapillary lens in CSNS, a first neutron focusing experiment using polycapillary lens in CSNS was conducted. For 0.5-12.6 polychromatic beam, a focal spot with FWHM of 800 was obtained. As the value of wavelength increased, the beam size, transmission efficiency and gain increased.
