[ES] El emergente desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías en el campo de la Salud ofrece recursos y alternativas a los principales medios terapéuticos clásicos. En nuestro proyecto estudiamos el impacto y la funcionalidad de las nuevas tecnologías en el campo terapéutico. Entre nuestros proyectos destaca ¿TdahXpressions¿, línea de investigación en la que proponemos talleres para personas con Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad (TDAH), donde se desarrollarán diferentes juegos y ejercicios basados en Realidad Virtual, Realidad Aumentada o Inteligencia Artificial, con los que trabajar sobre los principales déficits sintomáticos de TDAH como atención, impulsividad, hiperactividad, concentración, etc. El alumno participa en un proyecto novedoso en el que podrá aprender a manejar una de las tecnologías más punteras ejercitando habilidades de diseño, desarrollo y programación., [EN] The emerging development of new technologies in the field of Health offers resources and alternatives to the main classical therapeutic means. In our project we study the impact and functionality of new technologies in the therapeutic field. Our projects include ¿TdahXpressions¿, a line of research in which we propose workshops for people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (TDAH), where different games and exercises based on Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality or Artificial Intelligence will be developed, with which we will work on the main symptomatic deficits of TDAH as attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, concentration, etc. The student participates in a novel project in which they will be able to learn to handle one of the cutting-edge technologies by exercising design, development and programming skills.

Dynamic changes of soil protist in cucumber continuous cropping.

Plant-beneficial microbes improve while pathogens reduce plant performance. When introduced in soils, such microbes can induce entire microbiome changes. However, the impact of those microbial introductions on protists – key predators within the soil microbiome – remain unknown. Here, we tracked how soil protists respond to bacterial (Bacillus and Ralstonia) and fungal (Trichoderma and Fusarium) introductions, with both microbial groups represented by one beneficial and one pathogenic taxon. We found that plant-beneficial Bacillus bacteria change the protist community structure. This community-shift was likely induced by an increased fungi/bacteria ratio, supported by a negative correlation of the fungi/bacteria ratio with the relative abundance of phagotrophic protists across all treatments. Our results indicate that microbial introductions can impact protist communities, thereby altering microbiome-derived multi-functionality.
