Abstract

For transformer fault diagnosis, the three ratio method lacks of encoding, and artificial intelligence methods lack of anti-interference ability.Thus, a new method of transformer fault diagnosis based on RapidMiner and modified particle swarm optimization Extreme Learning Machine (RM-MPSO-ELM) is proposed. Firstly, RapidMiner picks out the most relevant input variables of the transformer fault. then, using the modified particle swarm algorithm to optimize the parameters for Extreme Learning Machine. Finally, using the ELM to identify the potential of transformer fault, the diagnostic performance of IEC three ratio method, support vector machine (SVM) method and different combinations of ELM algorithm are also compared. The results show that the proposed method achieves higher diagnosis precision.

26. Structures, Phase Transformations, and Dielectric Properties of BiTaO4Ceramics

Abstract

Low (α)- and high-temperature (β) forms of BiTaO4have attracted much attention due to their dielectric and photocatalytic properties. In the present work, a third form, the so-called HP-BiTaO4, was synthesized at high temperature and pressure. The phase evolution, phase transformations, and dielectric properties of α- and β-BiTaO4and HP-BiTaO4ceramics are studied in detail. β-BiTaO4ceramics densified at 1300 °C with the microwave permittivity εr≈ 53, the microwave quality factor Qf≈ 12070 GHz, and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency τf≈ −200 ppm/°C. HP-BiTaO4ceramics were synthesized at 5 GPa and 1300 °C followed by annealing at 600 °C. In contrast with the α phase, HP-BiTaO4exhibited εr≈ 195 at 1 kHz to 10 MHz, accompanied by a low dielectric loss of ∼0.004. The relation between structure and dielectric properties is discussed in the context of Shannon’s additive rule and bond theory.

48. Molecular Optical Switches Based on [Ru(OAC)(2MQN)2NO](H2MQN=2-methyl-8-quinolinol)

Abstract

Reversible photoisomerization between the cis and trans isomer of [Ru(OAc)(2mqn)2NO] (H2mqn=2-methyl-8-quinolinol) was studied quantitatively, using 1H Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. The kinetic study showed that the photoisomerization from trans to cis isomer was first-order and the rate constant (k) is 0.014 (min-1) at 420 nm, 0.0034 (min-1) at 550 nm, respectively. The main absorption band in UV-Vis region for cis and trans isomer was observed from 300 nm to 550 nm, the electronic structure of these compounds was performed with DFT (Density functional theory) calculation and was discussed based on HOMO–LUMO analyses. The study provide detail information to design advance optoelectronic materials based on nitrosylruthenium(II) complexes.

49. Two-Dimensional Nanosheets of Metal-Organic Frameworks with Tailorable Morphologies

Abstract

The controlled preparation of two-dimensional (2D) nanosheets of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), with tailorable methodologies, properties and applications, is of significant importance. Here in this work, by subtle control of the ultrasonic duration and solvents polarity, the iron(II)-based 2D MOF Fe(pyz)2Cl2(pyz = pyrazine) have been elegantly tailored into 2D nanosheets (lateral size ≥ 500 nm in aqueous, with ultrasonic duration of 30 min) and one-dimensional (1D) nanoribbons (lateral size ≤ 100 nm in ethanol solution, with ultrasonic duration of 90 min). The aqueous suspension of 2D nanosheets was featured with thermal-induced spin-state transition at around room temperature, and can be used as effective Fenton catalysts for degradation of water-soluble organic dyes. While the ethanol suspension of 1D nanoribbons can act as versatile nano-platform for trans to cis isomerization of 4, 4’-azopyridine. These results may provide a novel strategy for the controlled preparation of layered nanomaterials.

Abstract

Background: Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS) is a Mendelian disease characterized by gastrointestinal hamartomas, mucocutaneous pigmentation (MP), and increased cancer risk. Serine/threonine kinase 11 (STK11) is the only validated causative gene in PJS. Clinical observation reveals MP and intussusception in childhood are more frequent and severe than in adults. Case presentation: We report here a girl without a positive family history, who grew oral and fingertip MP at her age of 2 and got abdomen dull pain from 7 years old. Endoscopy revealed no obvious polyps in the stomach or the colon until 10 years old, when she received enteroscopy. Tens of polyps were resected during enteroscopy, and pathological examination confirmed them hamartomas. A heterozygous deletion in STK11, c.471_472delCT, was detected in the proband but not in her parents, which is not recorded in databases. Conclusion: The mutation we reported here is a novel one and a de-novo one, so our results enlarge the spectrum of STK11. We speculate close and regular endoscopy especially enteroscopy is necessary for complication prevention when the former endoscopy discovers no polyps temporarily in a child of suspect PJS.
