Studies have indicated that RIG-I may act as a tumor suppressor and participate in the tumorigenesis of some malignant diseases. However, RIG-I induces distinct cellular responses via different downstream signaling pathways depending on the cell type. To investigate the biological function and underlying molecular mechanism of RIG-I in the tumorigenesis of melanoma, we constructed RIG-I knockout, RIG-I-overexpressing B16-F10 and RIG-I knockdown A375 melanoma cell lines, and analyzed the RIG-I-mediated change in the biological behavior of tumor cells in spontaneous and poly (I:C)-induced RIG-I activation. Cell proliferation, cell cycling, apoptosis and migration were detected by CCK-8 assay, BrdU incorporation assay, Annexin V–PI staining assay and Transwell assay, respectively. In vivo tumorigenicity was evaluated by tumor xenograft growth in nude mice and subsequently by Ki67 staining and TUNEL assays. Furthermore, Western blotting was utilized to explore the underlying mechanism of RIG-I in melanoma cells. Our data showed that RIG-I promotes apoptosis and inhibits proliferation by G1 phase cell cycle arrest in the melanoma cell lines. Mechanistically, RIG-I induced the phosphorylation of p38 MAPK and MAPK kinases MKK3 and MKK4. In conclusion, the current study demonstrated that RIG-I suppressed the development of melanoma by regulating the activity of the MKK/p38 MAPK signaling pathway, which is relevant to research on novel therapeutic targets for this malignant disease.

A small-scale plasma ablation facility was employed to test the C/C-SiC composite material for investigating the thermal performance and ablation characteristics under two heat flux conditions, 3593.54 kW·m−2 and 5644.86 kW·m−2. The morphology of post-test specimens was analyzed with the ablation rates calculated. The average mass ablation rates of two group specimens were 0.01735 and 0.10620 g·s−1 respectively with average linear ablation rate of 0.00680 and 0.09407 mm·s−1. Specimen surface could be divided into three regions with typical layered structure characteristics. For the stagnation point ablation test, the structural deformation in the ablation surface area featured in vertical layering and lateral regionality, forming an ablation pit near the stagnation point. In the center region, sublimation occured primarily, accompanied by a serious jet scouring of the molten liquid phase, as well as a small amount of oxidation reaction; Jet erosion with thermal sublimation was the main factor for the mass loss in the transitional region; Thermochemical reactions were mainly carried out in the marginal region. The SiO2 generated from the thermochemical reaction of the material filled the interspace well and prevented the thermochemical reaction from penetrating deeper through the crack. The protective layer in the molten state with high viscosity reduced the damage of the high-speed jet impact material.

Background Migraine is a common neurological disease that is often accompanied by psychiatric comorbidities. However, the relationship between abnormal brain function and psychiatric comorbidities in migraine patients remains largely unclear. Therefore, the present study sought to explore the correlations between the resting-state functional deficits and psychiatric comorbidities in migraine without aura (MwoA) patients. Methods Resting-state functional magnetic resonance images were obtained. In addition, the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) and regional homogeneity (ReHo) values were obtained. Thereafter regional abnormalities in MwoA patients with and without anxiety (MwoA-A and MwoA-OA) were chosen as seeds to conduct functional connectivity (FC) analysis. Results Compared to the healthy controls (HCs), the MwoA-A and MwoA-OA patients had abnormal ALFF and ReHo values in the right lingual gyrus (LG). They also had abnormal FC of the right LG with the ipsilateral superior frontal gyrus (SFG) and middle cingulate cortex (MCC). Additionally, the MwoA-A patients showed higher ReHo values in the left posterior intraparietal sulcus (pIPS) and abnormal FC of the right LG with ipsilateral pIPS and primary visual cortex, compared to the MwoA-OA patients. Moreover, the MwoA-OA patients showed an increase in the FC with the right posterior cingulate cortex/precuneus (PCC/PCUN), left middle frontal gyrus (MFG) and left inferior temporal gyrus (ITG) relative to the HCs. Furthermore, the ALFF values of the right LG positively were correlated with anxiety scores in MwoA-A patients. The abnormal LG-related FCs with the PCC/PCUN, MFG and ITG were negatively associated with the frequency of headaches in MwoA-OA patients. Conclusions This study identified abnormal visual FC along with other core networks differentiating anxiety comorbidity from MwoA. This may therefore enhance the understanding of the neuropsychological basis of psychiatric comorbidities and provide novel insights that may help in the discovery of new marks or even treatment targets.

Background Leiomyoma of the uterus is relatively common, but uterine leiomyoma of the greater omentum is rare. Case summary Here, we report the case of a 22-year-old woman who presented with a 3 mo history of progressive abdominal distension and a hypervascular abdominopelvic mass. Due to a high serum concentration of CA125, the preoperative diagnosis was unclear. During surgery, 5 L of ascites was removed. An 18.8 cm solid mass, which was pedunculated from the uterine fundus and exhibited complex adhesion to the greater omentum, was removed. The CA125 level was reduced postoperatively, and a pathologic study confirmed that the mass was a leiomyoma that originated in the uterus. Conclusion Uterine leiomyoma can share vessels with the greater omentum. This case highlights the difficulty of diagnosing pseudo-Meigs syndrome and the importance of imaging and laboratory examinations.

Machine learning (ML) has been largely applied for predicting migraine classification. However, the prediction of efficacy of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in migraine is still in the early stages. This study aims to evaluate whether the combination of machine learning and amygdala-related functional features could help predict the efficacy of NSAIDs in patients with migraine without aura (MwoA). A total of 70 MwoA patients were enrolled for the study, including patients with an effective response to NSAIDs (M-eNSAIDs, n = 35) and MwoA patients with ineffective response to NSAIDs (M-ieNSAIDs, n = 35). Furthermore, 33 healthy controls (HCs) were matched for age, sex, and education level. The study participants were subjected to resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scanning. Disrupted functional connectivity (FC) patterns from amygdala-based FC analysis and clinical characteristics were considered features that could promote classification through multivariable logistic regression (MLR) and support vector machine (SVM) for predicting the efficacy of NSAIDs. Further, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were drawn to evaluate the predictive ability of the models. The M-eNSAIDs group exhibited enhanced FC with ipsilateral calcarine sulcus (CAL), superior parietal gyrus (SPG), paracentral lobule (PCL), and contralateral superior frontal gyrus (SFG) in the left amygdala. However, the M-eNSAIDs group showed decreased FC with ipsilateral caudate nucleus (CAU), compared to the M-ieNSAIDs group. Moreover, the M-eNSAIDs group showed higher FC with left pre-central gyrus (PreCG) and post-central gyrus (PoCG) compared to HCs. In contrast, the M-ieNSAIDs group showed lower FC with the left anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) and right SFG. Furthermore, the MwoA patients showed increased FC with the left middle frontal gyrus (MFG) in the right amygdala compared to HCs. The disrupted left amygdala-related FC patterns exhibited significant correlations with migraine characteristics in the M-ieNSAIDs group. The MLR and SVM models discriminated clinical efficacy of NSAIDs with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.891 and 0.896, sensitivity of 0.971 and 0.833, and specificity of 0.629 and 0.875, respectively. These findings suggest that the efficacy of NSAIDs in migraine could be predicted using ML algorithm. Furthermore, this study highlights the role of amygdala-related neural function in revealing underlying migraine-related neuroimaging mechanisms.

Background: Although several special medications for migraine are currently available, non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are still the first-line pharmacological option. A considerable proportion of migraineurs still be unresponsive to NSAIDs for reasons that remain unknown. The study aimed to develop significant characteristics to predict the efficacy of NSAIDs for patients with migraine. Methods: In this retrospective study, 567 patients suffering migraine were included and divided into an effective NSAIDs (M-eNSAIDs) group and a noneffective NSAIDs (M-neNSAIDs) group according to the analgesic efficacy at 2 hours after taking NSAIDs. Clinical and neuropsychiatric characteristics were collected and used to build a logistic regression model. And a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to represent the prediction capability.Results: Five predictors including education, attack duration, headache impact intensity, anxiety and depression scores were identified to build the logistic regression modal. The area under the curve (AUC) values of each predictor were 0.706, 0.639, 0.560, 0.683 and 0.632, respectively, failing to predict the efficacy of NSAIDs. All five predictors-combined method achieved an acceptable AUC value of 0.834 and a sensitivity of 90.9%.Conclusions: Despite the insufficient predictive capability of these predictors when analyzed individually, this study developed an effective and convenient method to accurately predict the efficacy of NSAIDs, which would be helpful for developing individualized therapeutic strategies for treatment of migraine.

BACKGROUND AND AIMS Colorectal cancer (CRC) is part of the most widespread malignant tumors. At present, colonoscopy is a routine procedure in the diagnosis of CRC, but it is traumatic. Carcinoembryonic antigen, CA199, and CA242 are common serum markers for the diagnosis of CRC; however, they do not demonstrate satisfactory specificity and sensitivity for the diagnosis of CRC. Hence, Now it is necessary to screen many valuable serum biomarkers for CRC, proteomics methods have been used to investigate PTMs such as glycosylation of proteins with prominent roles in the occurrence and development of tumors. METHODS This study screens altering glycosylated proteins of CRC tissues using LC-MS/MS quantitative glycoproteomics, and then these candidate biomarkers for CRC are further validated by serum glycoproteomics. In this study, an experimental device is designed and built to investigate the heat transfer characteristics in a downflow circulating fluidized bed evaporator. The tested downer has a length of 1200 mm and a dimension of Ф38 mm × 3 mm. Polyformaldehyde (POM), SiC and glass bead particles are used as the inert solid particles. A range of experimental investigations are performed by varying the amount of added particles (0.5–2.0%), heat flux (8–16 kW·m−2) and circulation flow velocity (0.56–1.78 m/s). Results show that as the addition of the particles destroys the laminar sublayer and increases nucleate sites, the boiling heat transfer coefficient of the three-phase flow is higher than that of the two-phase flow. All three kinds of particles added can enhance the heat transfer. The maximum enhancing factors are 78.5%, 68.8%, and 72.1% within the range of experiments for POM, glass bead and SiC particles, respectively. The flow boiling heat transfer coefficient initially increases and then decreases or fluctuates with the increase in the amount of added particles. The circulation flow velocity has two aspects of influence on the flow boiling heat transfer. The enhancing factor increases with the increase in circulation flow velocity at low heat flux, but initially increases and then decreases at high heat flux. The enhancing factor decreases with the increase in heat flux because of the generation of vapor film on the heating wall. Three dimensional diagrams are established to determine the optimum particles. The results can provide some references for the industrial application of the circulating fluidized bed heat transfer technology.

To evaluate the ablation/erosion resistance of the silicone rubber composites, a new method based on multi-phase flow produced by oxygen–kerosene ablation test device was put forward and a new kind of particle was applied in the test. The phase transition characteristics of B2O3 particles and Al2O3 particles in high-temperature flame jet were investigated and compared. On this basis, the ablation tests of silicone rubber composites under the erosion of particles were carried out. The results show that erosion of particles is an important factor in ablation. Compared with Al2O3 particle, B2O3 particle melts, evaporates and forms the liquid coating in the oxygen–kerosene flame jet, which can be used to simulate condensed phase particle in rocket engine. After the multi-phase flow ablation test ablation condition with B2O3 particles, the ablation rates are relatively small and reasonably, and a small ablation pit is formed on the surface of the silicone rubber composites. In the profile of ablated materials, a multi-layer structure with char layer, pyrolysis layer and matrix is formed. In the process of particle impact, the melting layer on the surface of B2O3 alleviates the impact force, thereby reducing the erosion of particles. The feasibility and scientificity of the new method based on multi-phase with B2O3 particles used for ablation resistance of silicone rubber composites investigation is validated.

Objective To assess the safety and efficacy of prostatic arterial embolization (PAE) for elderly patients with lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to large benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods Twenty-eight patients (>80 years of age) with prostate volume >80 mL were enrolled from October 2016 to October 2019. PAE was performed using microspheres and functional results were evaluated at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months postoperatively. The following data were recorded: International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), quality of life (QoL), maximum urine flow rate (Qmax), post-void residual urine volume, prostate volume and total prostate-specific antigen level. Results Selective prostatic arterial catheterization and embolization were achieved in 27 of 28 patients. Follow-up data were available for those 27 patients until 12 months postoperatively. Significant improvements were found at all postoperative time points in terms of the mean IPSS, mean QoL score, mean Qmax, mean post-void residual urine volume, mean total prostate-specific antigen level, and mean prostate volume. The overall complication rate was 46.4%. Conclusions PAE is an efficacious and safe treatment for elderly patients with large prostate volume; it may offer an effective approach for patients who are not candidates for open or endoscopic surgical procedures because of comorbidities.

Substantial evidence indicates that brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) plays an important role in tumorigenesis, in addition to its primary role in neuronal activity. Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), which are the most common mesenchymal neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract, contain multiple types of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) that express relevant immune checkpoint proteins. However, no data have been reported on the role of BDNF in GISTs. This study aimed to investigate the expression pattern and prognostic value of BDNF in GIST patients with different degrees of risk, as well as the relationship between BDNF expression and immune checkpoints. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) demonstrated that higher BDNF expression was more likely to be present in high-risk patients and suggested a poor prognosis. A similar phenomenon was demonstrated in plasma. Even more interesting was that a positive correlation was present between BDNF and PD-L1+ expression on TILs. Moreover, high BDNF expression levels in combination with a high PD-L1+ TIL count predict extremely poor survival. The combination of BDNF expression and TIL PD-L1+ expression as a single biomarker was a powerful significant independent predictor of prognosis. Taken together, BDNF expression may serve as a significant prognostic factor, as the combination of BDNF expression and the PD-L1+ TIL subset led to superior prediction of GIST prognosis. Furthermore, our research coupled a neurotrophin with immunity, which provides novel evidence of neural and immune regulation in a clinical study of GIST.

'Salt-processed Psoraleae Fructussalt-processed Foeniculi Fructus' (sPFsFF) is a common Chinese medicinal combination for treating diarrhoea. However, it is not clear how sPF and sFF work together, and why salt-processing is necessary.To investigate the compatibility mechanism of sPFsFF and the influence of salt-processing on it.Firstly, the metabolomics approach was appliedto screen the differential components between four (s)PF(s)FF extracts, i.e., sPFsFF, sPFFF, PFsFF, and PFFF extracts. Then, an in vivo metabolomics study was carried out to filter critical metabolites reflecting the curative effects of (s)PF(s)FF, and construct a metabolic network. Finally, a correlation analysis between chemical components in extracts and critical metabolites in vivo was performed to find out the synergistic and/or antagonistic effects between herbs as well as the influence of salt-processing.Salt-processing had a direct influence on the contents of chemical components in sPF and sFF extracts, and there existed positive/negative correlations between the content change of chemical components and the effects of critical metabolites. Therefore, salt-processing indirectly affected on these correlations and was (i) conducive to the positive effects of sPF and sFF on bile acids, making sFF play a synergistic role, thereby, sPFsFF could perform better than sPF and other three combinations and effectively relieve the symptoms of fatty diarrhoea, osmotic diuresis, malnutrition, and weight loss; (ii) conducive to the positive effects of sPF on triacylglycerol, 12(S)-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid, cholesterol, and arachidonic acid, and adverse to that of sFF, making sFF play an antagonistic role, thereby, sPFsFF could prevent a series of side effects caused by over-regulation and suitably relieve the symptoms of osmotic diuresis, polyuria, malnutrition, and weight loss; and (iii) adverse to the positive effects of sPF and sFF on thromboxane A2, sphinganine and sphingosine, making sFF play a synergistic role, thereby, sPFsFF could prevent a series of side effects and moderately relieve the symptoms of metabolic diarrhoea and polyuria.Salt-processing indirectly affected on the correlations between chemical components in extracts and critical metabolites in vivo, and exhibited both conducive and adverse effects on the efficacy, making sPF and sFF cooperate with each other to moderately repair the metabolic disorders. Thereby, sPFsFF could suitably relieve the diarrhoea and polyuria symptoms in the model and exert the most appropriate efficacy. Moreover, this novel strategy provided a feasible approach for further studying the compatibility mechanism of herbs.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains one of the most lethal malignant cancers worldwide. HCC mouse models are widely used to explore the molecular pathogenesis of HCC and to test novel drug candidates. The advantages of this mouse model are as follows:•This method developed a H11LNL-Myc knock-in HCC mouse model by crossing H11LNL-Myc heterozygous mice with (albumin (Alb))-cre transgenic mice to generate c-Myc/Alb-cre double positive mice.•The c-Myc/Alb-cre double-positive mice exhibited a typical HCC phenotype, and showed accelerated tumor initiation and rapid HCC progression. Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation has always been one of the significant techniques in underwater acoustic signal processing, which can be used to obtain the spatial angular information of the targets. High resolution performance is one of the concerns in the DOA estimation. The DOA estimation method based on the Richardson-Lucy deconvolution algorithm (RL-dCv) proposed in recent years can obtain higher resolution and lower sidelobe beam power than the CBF method. However, the method suffers from a low resolution and estimation precision in the case of insufficient array elements. Addressing the problem, a DOA estimation method based on the two-dimensional power distribution (TPD) is proposed in this paper. The method uses the Kronecker product operation to extract the two-dimensional power distribution matrix (TM) from the beam power function, and then uses the compression sensing algorithm to solve the matrix with the least influence of the noise. Since the value in the TM is restricted by the two angle sets, the method improves the estimation precision, and reduces the requirement for the number of array elements. It can get more accurate estimation results and higher resolution in the case of insufficient elements array. Experiments including simulations in different scenes and real lake experiments are implemented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this study, a nickel thermistor pattern integrated with copper electrodes on polyimide substrate is fabricated by photolithography and magnetron sputtering techniques. The effect of annealing treatment on the performance of the nickel thermistor on polyimide substrate is evaluated. It is found that the performance of nickel thermistor is significantly improved by annealing treatment. The relative change of resistance increases with the increasing annealing temperature and time when the annealing temperature is below 360 °C. The temperature range over which the temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) remains linear is long when the annealing temperature is 350 °C. The adhesion strength between the nickel thermistor and the polyimide substrate significantly increases after annealing treatment, but decreases when the annealing temperature and time increase. From the experimental results, the appropriate annealing temperature and time are obtained to meet required resistance, TCR, adhesion strength of the nickel thermistor.

This paper presents a study to determine the effect of sensor dimensions (length, width, and thickness) on the performance of flexible hot film shear stress sensors. The sensing component of a hot film sensor is nickel thermistor, and the flexible substrate material is polyimide. Several groups of flexible hot film shear stress sensors with different lengths, widths, and thicknesses were studied. The temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) was measured. The TCR increased slightly with increasing thickness. The frequency response (time constant) of the flexible hot film shear stress sensor was obtained by the square wave, while the sensitivity was tested in a wind tunnel. The study found that as the sensor length was shortened, the frequency response increased, and the sensitivity decreased.

An accurate estimate algorithm of effective sound velocity in deep sea channel based on the earliest arrival criteria is proposed. For a given sound speed profile of the sea and the characteristic of surface and seabed, the method acquires effective sound velocity between any two points in the channel and the physical image of their distribution. Furthermore, the spatial distribution characteristics and reasons of the effective sound velocity of deep sea sound channels under the location of different sound sources are discussed. The spatial distribution of effective sound velocity in deep water channel is of great significance to the underwater acoustic ranging and positioning.

A self-designed oxygen-kerosene ablation system was employed to test the four-directional braided carbon/carbon (4D C/C)composite material for studying the ablation performance under different oxygen-rich conditions, that is, −5%, 0% and 5%. The morphology of post-test specimens was analyzed via a scanning electron microscope(SEM), and the ablation rates were calculated. The influence principle of oxygen content on the ablation behavior of carbon/carbon composite material was studied, and the mechanism of ablation was also analyzed. Experimental results showed that the oxygen content will mainly affect the thermo-chemical ablation. The maximum mass ablation rate was 0.161 g · s−1 when the oxygen content was 5%, while the minimum was 0.146 g · s−1 when the oxygen content was 0. Within the range, the interstice between the axial fiber bundle and matrix became larger with the increase of oxygen content. In the two-phase flow test, the effect of particle erosion on material damage was much stronger than the change of oxygen content; on the other hand, fiber bundles were broken particles to form fine particles attaching to fracture fibers, which increased the contact area of the oxidation reaction and indirect accelerated thermochemical ablation process, the number of small carbon particles attaching to the surface gradually decreased with the increased of oxygen content.

Power particles are mainly in solid state prior to impact on substrates from high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spraying. The combination state of particles and substrate significantly affects the coating quality. Finite element analysis (FEA) models are developed to simulate the impingement process of solid particle impact on substrates under different deposition angles. This numerical study analyzes the deformation behavior of particles and the reason under different deposition angles, and the shear-instability– based method is applied to the particles. The particles are given the properties of widely used WC-Co powder for HVOF thermally sprayed coatings. The numerical results confirm that in the case of vertical deposition, the deposition behavior of particles is better than that of non-vertical deposition. In the case of non-vertical deposition, the equivalent plastic strain of the right part of the particle central axis is larger than that of the left part of the central axis, and decreases gradually in a clockwise direction. The flattening process of particles is mainly controlled by the horizontal drag force. When the normal velocity of particles exceeds the critical deposition velocity, the particles will appear adiabatic shear instability phenomenon, with the matrix to produce an effective combination.

e12638 Background: In the last decade, the treatment approach for locally advanced breast cancer (BC) patients has partly shifted from adjuvant treatment to neoadjuvant treatment. Systemic neoadjuvant treatment can downstage the tumor for less extensive surgery and improve cosmetic outcomes. Differential subtypes of BC responded unevenly to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Luminal B type with the relatively higher prevalence (40% in all 4 subtypes) had better therapeutic effect to neoadjuvant treatment than luminal A type, but worse than HER2-positive patients. Methods: We enrolled 87 BC patients for genotyping with multiple cancer-related genes. Among them, 17 patients were luminal A, 21 were HER2-negative luminal B, 23 were HER2-positive luminal B, 17 were HER2-positive and 9 were triple-negative. According to the RECIST, the patients were divided into 1-4 and 5 grades. Fisher test was used to analyze the difference of SNV and CNV between the two primary tumors, as well as TMB difference between post-neoadjuvant chemotherapy and past-neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Results: Base mutations in all patients showed discrepant preference between 1-4 grades and 5 grade groups, G-to-A in 1-4 grades, while A-to-G, A-to-T and G-to-T in 5 grade. In luminal B group (combine liminal B-negative and luminal B-positive groups), FLT4 gene mutation occurred more frequent in 5 grade than 1-4 grades (4/16 vs 0/28, P = 0.01). CNV analysis in NFKBIA and ZNF217 distinguished the two therapeutic efficiency groups in luminal B-positive group. The amplification of NFKBIA and ZNF217 was higher in 1-4 grades than 5 grade (8/14 vs 1/9, P = 0.036; 9/14 vs 1/9, P = 0.017). TMB difference between post and past neoadjuvant chemotherapy in luminal B-positive group was also significant in 5 grade (4.36 vs 1.99, P = 0.002). Conclusions: NFKBIA and ZNF217 amplification notably differentiated the 1-4 grades and 5 grade groups in luminal B-positive patients, suggesting the potential prognostic biomarkers of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in this locally advanced breast cancer subtype, which would be improved by further large-scale cohort study. The differences of TMB and FLT4 gene mutation were also found between the two therapeutic efficiency groups.

According to the existing analysis model for verifying numerical results, the numerical and analytical results are consistent. Based on the verified simulation results, the effects of substrate thickness, flow channel height, distance between the hot point of the thermopile and the heater on the working range, and sensitivity was studied.

In this study, a Box-Behnken design was used to explore the effect of a new technology on green tea fragrance improvement and to optimize fragrance-improving with a bilayer far-infrared fragrance-improving machine with temperature and humidity control. Based on the results of previous single-factor experiments, the main biochemical composition and sensory evaluation scores of the fragrance-improved samples were used as investigation indices. The new fragrance-improving technology was compared with the traditional far-infrared fragrance-improving process, roller pot fragrance improvement, and hot air rotary fragrance improvement. The results show that the optimal parameter combination of the new technology consists of a temperature of 128.00 °C, relative humidity of 70.00 g/h, and transmission speed of 435.00 r/min. With these process parameters, the amino acids, tea polyphenols, flavonoids, soluble sugar, catechins, and caffeine in the fragrance-improved samples reached 3.86%, 32.29%, 5.59%, 4.45%, 8.97%, and 2.75%, respectively. The quality material weight value was 11.72%. The shape, color, taste, and aroma of the fragrance-improved samples made using these parameters were found to be best, with a sensory quality score of 87.40, which is significantly higher than that of other fragrance-improving methods. The energy consumption was 0.19 RMB/kg, which was reduced by more than 50% compared with the other methods, and the production efficiency was more than 30% higher than the traditional methods. This new far-infrared fragrance-improving technology overcomes the yellowish and grayish color of fragrance-improved tea samples that is caused by the traditional fragrance-improving approach, and will provide technical guidance for actual green tea production.Our proposed approach innovatively integrates humidity and rotational speed as factors for fragrance improvement in Chinese tea process. The findings of this work provide new technical for fragrance improvement processes.
