Abstract The purpose of this paper is to study the convergence theorems in CAT ( κ ) $\operatorname{CAT} (\kappa )$ spaces with k > 0 $k > 0$ for total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings which are essentially wider than nonexpansive mappings, asymptotically nonexpansive mapping, and asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense. Our results generalize, unify, and improve several comparable results in the existing literature.

In this paper we investigate the optimal control problem for set-valued quasivariational inequality with unilateral constraints. Under suitable conditions, we prove that the solution to the current optimal control problem converges to a solution to old control problems. By way of application, we utilize our results presented in the paper to study the optimal control associated with boundary value problems which is described by frictional contact problems and a stationary heat transfer problem with unilateral constraints.

In this article, we propose an optimal control problem for generalized elliptic quasi-variational inequality with unilateral constraints. Then, we discuss the sufficient assumptions that ensure the convergence of the solutions to the optimal control problem. The proofs depend on convergence results for generalized elliptic quasi-variational inequalities, obtained by the arguments of compactness, lower semi-continuity, monotonicity, penalty and different estimates. As an application, we addressed the abstract convergence results in the analysis of optimal control associated with boundary value problems.

Abstract In this paper we consider a class of split feasibility problem by focusing on the solution sets of two important problems in the setting of Hilbert spaces. One of them is the set of zero points of the sum of two monotone operators and the other is the set of fixed points of mappings. By using the modified forward–backward splitting method, we propose a viscosity iterative algorithm. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems of the sequence generated by the algorithm to a common solution of the problem are proved. At the end of the paper, some applications and the constructed algorithm are also discussed.

In this paper, we introduce an iterative algorithm for finding a common solution of a finite family of the equilibrium problems, quasi-variational inclusion problems and fixed point problem on Hadamard manifolds. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems are proved. Our results extend some recent results in literature.

The purpose of this paper is using the viscosity approximation method to study the strong convergence problem for a family of nonexpansive mappings in CAT(0) spaces. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for the proposed implicit and explicit iterative schemes to converge to a common fixed point of the family of nonexpansive mappings are proved which is also a unique solution of some kind of variational inequalities. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of some others.

The main purpose of this paper is to introduce an iterative algorithm for equilibrium problems and split feasibility problems in Hilbert spaces. Under suitable conditions we prove that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the set of solutions of equilibrium problems and the set of solutions of split feasibility problems.
