This study has been conducted under the Corps of Engineers' Section 206 Floodplain Management Services Program. The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate surface water flooding problems along the Annawomscutt Brook and perform a hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the brook for both existing conditions and with proposed drainage improvements.

This study has been conducted under the Corps of Engineers' Section 22, Planning Assistance to States Program. The purpose of this investigation is to define the Runnins River Watershed and evaluate and document the quantity and quality of stormwater surface runoff into the river through watershed modeling of hydraulic conditions.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and document the current and projected future dredging and dredged material disposal requirements of New Hampshire to provide the framework for future efforts to assess the need for an open ocean disposal site or sites. It was determined that over the next 50 years Hampton-Seabrook Harbor may require dredging of about 1,140,000 cubic yards of material; Little Harbor, depending on need, 270,000 cubic yards; Portsmouth Harbor/Piscataqua River, 640,000 cubic yards; and Rye Harbor, 132,400 cubic yards. This report documents the location and elevation of approximately 200 high water marks taken after the Halloween 'Northeaster' of October 1991 and the high water marks were taken from the coast of Kennebunkport, Maine down to Nantucket, Massachusetts. The report contains photographs, descriptions, and location maps for all of the high water marks which were recovered. The maps show the location of both the Halloween Storm of 1991 and the Blizzard of 1978 high water marks. High water marks and their corresponding elevations, referenced to either the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD), or Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) are listed in Table 1 - Summary of High Water Marks. The high water marks are meant to be an estimation of still water elevation; however, some are due to ponding, overtopping and wave run-up which are not representative of ocean still water levels.
