Spinal nerve root pinched by herniated intervertebral disc will yield to painful complaints. Such condition in medical term is called as radiculopathy. The lesion usually occurs in the lower part of vertebral column, i.e. lumbar radiculopathy. To verify the diagnosis, the patient should undergo magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination. Further image processing is needed to aid the interpretation of these MRI images. The data in this study consisted of 40 MRI images, obtained by using General Electric Brivo MR 355 in T2-weighted sagittal relaxation phase, which are to be processed later by enlarged and enhancement processing. The image processing produced larger and clearer images, making it easier to observe lumbar radiculopathy. This method serves as a new breakthrough for the health providers in the management of lumbar radiculopathy patients. The integration of environmental management into Human Resource Management (HRM) is called Green HRM. There is a growing need for the application of Green HRD in industry. The objective of this review is to explore green human resource management practices of organizations in the industry based on the existing literature. Based on this review, it is concluded that by understanding and increasing the scope and depth of green HRM practices, organizations can improve their environmental performance in a more sustainable manner than before. The green HRM practices are more powerful tools in making organizations and their operations in industry green. The green performance, green behaviors, green attitude, and green competencies of human resources can be shaped and reshaped through the adaptation of green HRM practices.

Thorax x-ray images are used to identify tuberculous cavities. Sometimes it is difficult to detect the cavity and determine its extent in unprocessed digital image. Image processing serves to help the identification. The method used in this study is Morphological Segmentation and Unsharp Masking. The total number of images which were to be processed was 42 , yet only one of them is completely presented and discussed in this article. In all of the post processed images, it can identify tuberculosis cavity and measure its area.

This study aimed to develop learning tools based on E-Learning in introductory information technology course. E-Learning, a web-based learning tool that uses classroom flipped learning models. The method used in this research was Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) with processed data sourced from 22 students. The effectiveness of this study was very effective because through the calculation of the Gain score it was found that the overall average value of students there was an improvement. The average increase in learning outcomes was 0.591949 with a moderate gain score acquisition criteria. Then, it was concluded that e-learning using the flipped classroom learning model was very helpful in introducing Infor-mation Technology and as an E-Learning guideline for other subjects.

Filter technique is supportive for reducing image noise. This paper presents a study on filtering medical images, i.e., CT-Scan, Chest X-ray and Panoramic X-ray collected from two of the most prominent public hospitals in Padang City, Indonesia. The aim of this study preserved to facilitate in diagnosing objects in x-ray medical images. This study used filter technique, i.e. Blur, Emboss, Gaussian, Laplacian, Roberts, Sharpen, or Sobel techniques as pre-processing step. The filter process performed before edge detection and edge clarification. MMG method used in this study to clarify the edge detection. Thus, this research showed the hesitation decline (confidence increase) of the diagnosis of objects contained in medical images

Quality of medical image has an important role in constructing right medical diagnosis. This paper recommends a method to improve the quality of medical images by increasing the size of the image pixels. By increasing the size of pixels, the size of the objects contained therein is also greater, making it easier to observe. In this study medical images of Brain CT-Scan, Chest X-Ray and Panoramic X-Ray were processed using Line-Column Interpolation (LCI) Method. The results of the treatment are then compared to Nearest Neighbor Interpolation (NNI), Bilinear Interpolation (BLI) and Bicubic Interpolation (BCI) processing results. The experiment shows that Line-Column Interpolation Method produces a larger image with details of the objects in it are not blurred and has equal visual effects. Thus, this method is expected to be a reference material in enlarging the size of the medical image for ease in clinical analysis.

Dental caries are tooth decay caused by bacterial infections . It is commonly known as cavities. This infection causes demineralization and hence destruction of the hard tissues of the teeth. Diagnosis of dental caries is conventionally carried out with the help of radiographic films. This research aims to develop some algorithm of the mMG method in identifying dental caries based using digital panoramic dental x-ray images. This paper presents an algorithm of using digital panoramic dental x-ray images to detect dental caries. Type of algorithm used in this study is normal mMG, Enhancement mMG, and Smooth mMG. This study makes use of MATLAB and it performs dental caries detection in three algorithms. A dataset of 225 digital panoramic dental x-ray images in .png format is used to edge detection of the object in dental. The results are helpful to identify such caries from the tooth.

This study aims to perform the sharpening of the dental x-ray image in the form of a panoramic dental x-ray. The method used in this study was segmentation morphology consisting of the dilation, erosion and gradient process. This study also developed a process of morphology gradient of subtracting morphology dilation results with the results of morphology erosion dilation in iterating basis. The results achieved indicate that the image enhancement process in each iteration stage can display caries objects clearly, making it easier to identify proximal caries. In this study have been compiled a looping morphology gradient algorithm which is called multiple morphology gradient

Infiltrate is often called as pulmonary vlek for there are white spotteds on the lung. White spotted could be in form of liquid, condensation, or uncircumcised . The liquid is emerge from blood or suppuration. To detect the existence of infiltrate on the lung, it could be done by doing X-ray Thorax checkup. To observe the infiltrate on x-ray thorax image is unable to be seen by every people, but it is done by experts such as radiologists or the pulmonary experts by doing conscientious research. The research was done by extracting the infiltrate object on x-ray thorax image of tuberculosis patient to clarify the object. The research stage that was done on x-ray thorax image is by detecting the object with segmentation morphology process which consist of dilat i on and erosion morphology, and side detection by decreasing the value of dilation and erosion morphology. The next stage is extracting the infiltrate object by using bin a rization and feature region analysis to ommit the unspotted part and determine the infiltrate object from the amount of existing objects. The result of infiltrate object extraction, then, is being calculated for both number and width of each side of lung by using feature region analysis. The result indicates that infiltrate object extraction is able to show an image with the explicit infiltrate object. The result trials of 40 x-ray thorax image on tuberculosis patients proved that the well-extracted images are able to be determined whether on its position, total, and width of infiltrates on lung. The trials of 2 x-ray thorax image on healthy patients are also done as comparisons, and the result indicates that there is no infiltrate objects on both sides of lung.
