This study aims to explore the effect of data analytics quality on company sustainability through operational performance as an intervening variable of Fintech Peer to Peer Lending (P2P) companies registered and licensed at the Financial Services Authority (known as OJK) Indonesia. This study is quantitative research using primary data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The data came from 104 company leaders and involved 91 Fintech P2P Lending companies registered and licensed at OJK until December 2023. Data were processed using statistical tools Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-Lisrel. The result of processed data indicates that data analytics quality has a positive and significant effect on company sustainability through operational performance as an intervening variable. Data analytics quality with AI-based automation makes repetitive work operations easy, efficient and effective which has implications for increasing the sustainability opportunities of fintech companies.

Purpose – This research investigates the Islamic banks’ intermediation role (e.g. branches and deposits) in financing. It also examines how financing contributes to the regions' economic growth and poverty alleviation as a predictor and mediator variable. Design/methodology/approach – A total of 297 observations were extracted from 33 Indonesian districts and 14 Islamic banks during the period 2012–2020. Fixed-effect regression analysis was used to examine variable’s interactions. Findings – The empirical results indicate that Islamic banks have adopted a channelling role towards redistributing capital from lender to borrower. Besides, there are crucial roles in developing economies and reducing poverty at the district level. This study also reinforces the critical role of financing in mediating the relationship between branches and deposits as predictor variables and GDP and poverty as outcome variables. Research limitations/implications – The current study was limited to Indonesian Islamic banks and the district’s perspective. Future research needs to cover sub-districts and other poverty measurements (e.g. human education and development perspectives), including conventional and Islamic banks. It can help practitioners, regulators and researchers observe the dynamic behaviour of the banking sector to understand its role in the economic and social fields. Practical implications – Bank managers and regulators should promote branches, deposits and financing. It also enlightens people about the essential role of Islamic banks and their fundamental operations in business and economics. Originality/value – This study contributes to economic literature, bank managers and local governments' decision-making processes by developing and testing an economic growth and poverty model.

Background: Due to the intense competition that both public and private higher education institutions face, academic administration and strategic planning have gained importance in recent years. Among these are the demands for resilience, sustainability, identity, and quality. Objective: Given the growing globalisation in the education sector and the significance of university rankings in gauging academic excellence and prestige, this study investigates the impact of strategic planning on global university rankings in Thai public institutions. Methodology: The present study used a mixed-methods approach, combining an exploratory and descriptive approach. Thai public universities were selected based on criteria like participation in the global university ranking system. Data were collected using scales, while results were presented in tables. Results: The study showed that global university ranking plays a huge role in influencing strategic planning among public universities in Thailand. However, despite the global rankings motivating Thai universities to enhance their international visibility, academic brilliance, and research output, they also encountered significant constraints, such as limited lecturer resources in specific areas of broader educational goals. Conclusion: This strategic orientation toward rankings could potentially result in opportunities for international collaboration and competitiveness; nevertheless, it could also exacerbate existing disparities within the university. Contribution: This study offers a unique contribution by comprehensively examining the impact of university rankings. It provides a nuanced understanding of the strategic planning by Thai public universities, which may also be applied in universities in developing countries. Key recommendation: This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on the role of global rankings in determining higher education strategies by discussing the implications for policymakers, academic leaders, and stakeholders who aim to compete in the university's global ranking and participate in the global educational environment.

Background: Today, the education field has been transformed by integration courses and social awareness among students to enhance their sense of responsibility. These courses encourage students to be active not only in education but also in solving social problems. Objective: This study examines the influence of public participation in social activity experiences on students’ awareness, engagement and sense of responsibility in the context of evolving university education. Methodology: A total of 800 students across 38 institutions in Guangxi, China, were recruited, and structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to examine research hypotheses. Furthermore, Hayes' bootstrapping approach was applied to examine students’ awareness and engagement in mediating the relationship between public participation experience and a sense of responsibility. Result: Public participation experiences positively affect students’ awareness, engagement, and sense of responsibility. The public management quality faces some challenges, especially those related to students’ sense of responsibility, including awareness and engagement during the learning process. Moreover, personal public participation experience can potentially enhance students’ attitudes and engagement in a sense of responsibility in public management consciousness. Unique contribution: The study emphasises the value of experiential learning in advancing students' comprehension of public affairs and management by arguing that students' sense of responsibility is shaped by their active participation in public activities. Key Recommendation: Personal public participant experience has a crucial role in influencing students' sense of responsibility; government and education stakeholders should invite students to collaborate on social activities and public management services.

The damaging process known as microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) can be triggered by the bioactivities of microorganisms. The occurrence of this phenomenon can be attributed to the presence of biodiesel in carbon steel diesel mixture storage tanks, since the biodegradability of the fuel promotes microbial development and the MIC process. In this work, the effects of different biodiesel concentrations (B0, B15, B20, B30, and B100) on biocorrosion in ST-37 carbon steel caused by three species were investigated. Some of the species confirmed to be involved are S. marcescens, B. megaterium and B. lichenisformis. These three species are undoubtedly able to survive in a biodiesel-based media. In addition to producing EPS, a species that may slow the rate at which carbon steel corrodes, biodiesel can be utilised as a supply of nutrients. Nonetheless, the diverse life cycles of microbes have the potential to accelerate corrosion of carbon steel. The average corrosion rate with the effect of B. lichenisformis is lower than the other two species, notably in the B100, with fewer colonies than S. marcescens and B. megaterium.Some of the species confirmed to be involved are S. marcescens, B. megaterium and B. lichenisformis.

This community service activity aims to increase parents' understanding of managing children's emotional intelligence during their growth period towards adolescence at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School (SIKL) in Malaysia. The method of implementing the service used interactive counselling, with the target being 30 parents of children at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School. The stages of this activity included initial needs analysis, preparation, implementation coordination, activity evaluation, and data analyzed descriptively. The results of this service activity showed that the level of parental understanding in children's emotional management increased significantly; this is proven by data on the level of parental understanding before counseling was carried out as follows: a) 6% understand how to manage emotions; b) 60.8% do not understand how to manage emotions; and c) 34.2% understand some of the emotion management. After carrying out the counseling, the following results were obtained: a) 56.7% knew and understood how to manage emotions; b) 6.7% did not understand how to manage emotions; and c) 36.6% understood some of emotion management. From these data, it can be concluded that parents' understanding of managing emotional intelligence in children has increased to 56.70%.

Stunting adalah masalah kesehatan masyarakat serius yang berpengaruh besar terhadap kualitas bangsa di masa depan, disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi dan masalah sanitasi, serta diperparah oleh kemiskinan ekstrem dan kurangnya pengetahuan serta pemberdayaan masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk mengurangi faktor risiko stunting di Kecamatan Marawola. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi, dan pelatihan kewirausahaan mandiri yang dilakukan melalui Posyandu/Puskesmas kepada kepala keluarga stunting, ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, dan remaja putri SLTA. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 40 remaja putri SLTA N. 4 Sigi yang menjadi sasaran, 95% mengikuti kegiatan hingga selesai, dengan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang stunting sebesar 78,94% dan 10,53% melakukan kewirausahaan mandiri. Sementara itu, dari 61 masyarakat potensial stunting yang berpartisipasi, peningkatan pengetahuan tentang faktor risiko stunting mencapai 80%, dan 34,42% melakukan kewirausahaan mandiri. Enam mahasiswa aktif dari Jurusan Kesehatan Lingkungan Polkespal juga terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat terkait stunting, serta mendorong kewirausahaan mandiri, yang merupakan aspek penting dalam mengatasi masalah stunting melalui keterlibatan masyarakat.

Advances in technology help people carry out their activities more easily. One of them is artificial intelligence which is used in various fields. However, the use of Artificial Intelligence has a negative impact, such as the emergence of Artificial Intelligence actions that violate ethics, legal regulations, or harm other parties that must be accounted for. The purpose of the research is to find out the legal liability of Artificial Intelligence for misuse of personal data based on progressive legal theory and the protection of personal data against the use of Artificial Intelligence based on Law Number 27 of 2022. The research method used normative legal research focuses on active legal inventories, legal principles and doctrines, legal discovery in specific cases, legal systems, levels of uniformity, comparative law and legal history. The research found that the use of Artificial Intelligence in collecting and analysing personal data can threaten individual privacy. Indonesia already has Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, for the application and implementation of the law there is no governing Government Regulation, so that the legal protection provided is still not optimal. For this reason, it is necessary to have laws and regulations that specifically regulate the use of Artificial Intelligence, so that violations of the law that result in losses due to the use of Artificial Intelligence that can collect and analyse personal data can be held legally responsible.

Abstract This research is interesting because it aims to photograph the efforts of educational units implementing the mobilization school program to achieve program objectives. The review was carried out on the conceptual research gap, namely the citizenship behavior of program implementers in their educational unit organizations. This qualitative research was carried out with a descriptive design. The research was conducted at SMAS An-Nizam Medan because it had been designated as a driving school, with a technique for determining respondents using purposive sampling. Data was analyzed using an interactive model. Efforts to transform education through driving schools at SMAS AN-Nizam Medan to create conditions and work environments that support: first, the implementation of the Pancasila student profile. Second, improving and equalizing the quality of driving school administrators. Third, create a collaborative climate between the driving school organizing elements in the school. The driving school organizing element is reflected in the school's elements to show concern and commitment in working highly dedicated to the transformation of education in schools. This reflection is a picture of the citizen good of an educational unit and the organizational citizenship behavior at SMAS AN-Nizam Medan. ------------------ Abstrak Penelitian ini menarik karena bertujuan untuk memotret upaya satuan pendidikan pelaksana program sekolah penggerak untuk mencapai tujuan program. Tinjauan dilakukan pada konseptual gap penelitian yaitu perilaku kewarganegaraan pelaksana program dalam organisasi satuan pendidikannya. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan desain deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAS An-Nizam Medan karena telah ditetapkan sebagai sekolah penggerak, dengan teknik penentuan responden menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif. Upaya transformasi pendidikan melalui sekolah penggerak di SMAS AN-Nizam Medan untuk menciptakan kondisi dan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung: pertama, implementasi profil pelajar Pancasila. Kedua, peningkatan dan pemerataan kualitas penyelenggara sekolah penggerak. Ketiga, menciptakan iklim kolaboratif antar unsur penyelenggara sekolah penggerak di sekolah. Unsur penyelenggara sekolah menggerak tercermin dari unsur-unsur sekolah untuk menunjukkan kepedulian dan komitmen dalam bekerja yang berdedikasi tinggi untuk transformasi pendidikan di sekolah. Cerminan tersebut merupakan gambaran dari “warga satuan pendidikan yang baik” dan perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi di SMAS AN-Nizam Medan.

In this study, zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) were synthesized from zinc nitrate hexahydrate precursor and mango leaf extract (MLE). The purpose of this research was to investigate the crystal structure and optical properties exhibited by ZnO NPs for photocatalytic applications. ZnO NPs produced from various concentrations of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and the addition of MLE during the synthesis stage demonstrated intriguing physical structure and optical properties. XRD characterization results revealed the attainment of a pure ZnO phase with a high crystallinity degree in all samples. Biosynthesis with MLE unveiled minor peaks corresponding to the cellulose phase. The achieved crystallite size ranged from 15–28 nm. The FTIR patterns detected in the wavenumber range of 600–4000 cm−1 indicated successful crystallization of all ZnO NPs samples. The band gap energy for each sample (ZnO-A to ZnO-E) is indicated to be in the range of 3.25, 3.25, 3.26, 3.31, and 3.17 eV, as demonstrated by the Tauc relation. The effect of MB degradation by the ZnO-E photocatalyst is revealed by the photodegradation of 96.46%.

This research aims to measure the extent of inclusive green growth in Jambi Province by considering the components of the Inclusive Green Growth Index that contribute to the potential of agrotourism and sustainable growth. It seeks to identify and analyze tourism potentials that can be leveraged to support inclusive green growth in various districts of Jambi Province. Additionally, the study aims to formulate strategies applicable to tourism villages in Jambi Province to realize agrotourism areas focused on improving the well-being of communities and the environment. This research employs both quantitative and descriptive qualitative methodologies. Data sources include primary and secondary data collected through interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, covering three regencies in Jambi Province: mountainous areas in Merangin Regency, non-mountainous and non-marine areas in Muaro Jambi Regency, and marine areas in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. The results indicate that Jambi Province has not yet achieved green inclusivity, with an Inclusive Green Growth Index value of 3.191. The study identifies several sample areas with green development potential, including Rantau Kermas Village in Merangin Regency, Tangkit Baru Village in Muaro Jambi Regency, and Kuala Simbur Village in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Key findings include the green potential of tourism and plantations, dance arts, micro-hydropower plants (PLTMH), electricity, awards, funding, fishermen, locations, culinary, mangrove forests, customary forests, and marine products. Strategies to realize agrotourism areas based on improving community well-being and the environment include strengthening organizations, enhancing the quality of human resources, developing infrastructure, funding programs, applying customary law sustainability, offering tour packages, forming customary forest management groups, conducting research and development, implementing disaster mitigation measures, promoting tourism, and initiating the adopt-a-tree program.

Utilizing Android-based Information Communication Technology (ICT) is pivotal in the healthcare sector for monitoring the growth, development, and assessment of nutritional status and ensuring enhanced data quality for toddlers. The adherence to ISO/IEC 25010 standards is imperative in developing high-quality applications like "PSG Balita." This study aimed to assess the impact of the "PSG Balita" Android application, which complies with the ISO/IEC 25010 standard, on the accuracy of nutritional status data for toddlers. In 2021, a quasi-experimental design research was conducted in Banda Aceh City, with the participation of 30 nutritionists from health facilities. The data were gathered by observations and interviews, utilizing a questionnaire that assessed the aspects of timeliness, completeness, accuracy, and usefulness. The intervention involved a one-month training session utilizing the "PSG Balita" software, which is consistent with the ISO/IEC 25010 standard. Data analysis utilizing repeated-measures ANOVA indicated that the "PSG Balita" application conformed to IEC standards, demonstrating a data quality score of 82,5. The intervention greatly improved the quality of data on the nutritional condition of children under the age of five (p < 0,05). In conclusion, the "PSG Balita" application, which is based on Android and adheres to ISO/IEC 25010 standards, can improve the precision of nutritional status data for toddlers, assessed in terms of timeliness, completeness, accuracy, and usefulness. Leachate is a liquid that comes from processed waste generation so that it contains compounds that are harmful or toxic to the environment. The quality of the leachate obtained included COD: 3,315 mg/l, BOD: 339 mg/l, TSS: 216 mg/l, and color 3,1210 Pt.Co. Waste processing site Temesi has a BOD/COD ratio of 0.11, this value is not suitable for using biological treatment because the biodegradability value is small so it is difficult for microorganisms to degrade existing pollutants. Therefore, it is necessary to have an pretreatment that is used to increase the value of biodegradability, one of which is oxidation using ozone. Ozone has a strong oxidizing value so that it can produce free radicals to break long chains of pollutants so that they become simpler. This research on ozone oxidation resulted in an increase in the BOD/COD ratio from 0,1 to 0.14 with a generator capacity of 36 g/hour. In this study, an ozone generator of 100 G/hour was used which increased the BOD/COD ratio to 0.46 with a final COD yield of 815 mg/l increasing BOD to 379 mg/l, TSS become 157,62 mg/L and color become 23.642 Pt.Co.

This community service aims to provide understanding and community empowerment regarding land dispute resolution using mediation methods following laws and regulations to increase public legal awareness in Sirah Pulau Padang District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. Implementing this service used technical guidance and interactive discussions—data collection methods through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Based on the evaluation results, it was found that 50.5% of the participants understood very well, 13.5% understood, 27.2% understood quite well, 5.9% did not understand, and 2.9% did not understand. The results of this service showed that the community's understanding of other options in resolving land conflicts had increased, namely using mediation methods that could save time cost and have a simple process to reach an agreement. Village heads could resolve land conflicts in the community through mediation, following applicable laws and regulations.

High population growth without concurrent improvements in human quality poses significant challenges in promoting equitable welfare across various life aspects. Thus, population control is crucial for achieving sustainable development goals. This study emphasizes the role of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) in managing fertility rates and investigates three main components of population growth: fertility, mortality, and migration. The objectives are threefold: 1) Analyze the profile of fertile-age couples using LARC in rural Jambi; 2) Investigate the socio-economic factors influencing the choice between LARC and non-LARC methods among these couples; 3) Explore the relationship between the couples' characteristics and their choice of LARC. Data were collected from a survey of 200 fertile-age couples participating in a family planning program across four villages in Jambi. The analysis utilized descriptive statistics, binary logistic regression, and multinomial logistic regression. Findings indicate that LARC usage among fertile-age couples in rural Jambi is low, at approximately 28% of total contraceptive users, with implants being the most common LARC type. In contrast, non-LARC methods are more prevalent, accounting for 72% of usage, dominated by three-month injectables, followed by pills and male condoms. Significant factors influencing the choice between LARC and non-LARC include the husband's education, the woman's employment status, the number of living children, the disparity between actual and ideal family size, desire for more children, knowledge about contraceptive options, and family income. Furthermore, characteristics significantly related to the choice of LARC methods such as tubal ligation, implants, and IUDs include the woman's age, number of living children, the gap between the ideal and actual number of children, desire for more children, woman's employment status, knowledge about contraceptive devices, and family income.

In the face of intense global competition, such as the introduction of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the Indonesian workforce must transition from merely seeking employment to creating job opportunities. In this regard, cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit is a strategic alternative to bolster employment prospects and stimulate innovation. This study was carried out in the province of Jambi with the primary objectives of: 1) analyzing the characteristics and entrepreneurial intentions across different generations in Jambi; 2) examining the factors that influence these entrepreneurial intentions. The research compares three generations—Generation Bust (Gen Bust), Millennials, and the iGeneration—all within the productive age bracket and possesses substantial potential to drive development. The research methodology entailed collecting data through surveys administered to individuals from Gen Bust, Millennials, and the iGeneration in Jambi. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistical tools and the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The findings reveal notable differences in entrepreneurial intentions among the generations, with Gen Bust and Millennials exhibiting stronger entrepreneurial intentions than iGeneration. Influential factors for these entrepreneurial intentions include attitudinal and contextual elements such as academic, social, and environmental support. Although individual characteristics vary among the generations, they do not consistently exert a direct and significant impact on entrepreneurial intentions, particularly for iGeneration. This research offers crucial insights into how specific factors affect entrepreneurial intentions across different generations, which can assist in developing strategies and policies to foster entrepreneurship in Jambi, especially in light of global and regional economic challenges.

This research analyses the influence of market orientation and competitive advantage on MSMEs’ marketing performance, with competitive advantage as a moderating variable. The research methodology employs path analysis using Smart PLS software version 4.0 and involves 397 MSME owners in Jambi City, Jambi Province, Indonesia. The analysis results indicate that market orientation and competitive advantage significantly influence MSME marketing performance. Additionally, competitive advantage moderates, strengthening the relationship between market orientation and marketing performance. These findings have practical implications for MSME owners, suggesting that focusing on developing market orientation and competitive advantage can enhance their marketing performance. Furthermore, this study contributes to the theoretical understanding of factors influencing MSMEs marketing performance and encourages further research on elements that most impact competitive advantage. It also provides recommendations for policymakers to support enhancing MSME marketing performance through various supportive policies. However, this research has limitations, such as the lack of specific elements of market orientation with significant impacts and a need to better understand the moderation mechanism between market orientation and marketing performance through competitive advantage, which could be subjects of future research.

The low quality of education and the achievement of school accreditation, where one of the assessed aspects is the learning process that should be technology-based, demand teachers to develop instructional media.This research aims to develop reference books and obtain mathematical learning media criteria for junior high school. The research method used is Design Research. Research steps are identification and analysis of problems, drafting prototypes, testing prototypes, and improvements. Research is carried out by reviewing the theories, research results, then developing a learning media reference book that will be used as a teacher's guide in developing mathematics learning media for junior high school. The book that has been developed is further validated by three experts in the field of mathematical learning media. validator consists of lecturers and mathematics teachers for junior high school. The conclusion of this study is that interactive learning is the right learning medium in mathematics learning. Some interactive media that affect math learning outcomes are interactive powerpoints, learning videos, and geogebra media. for the development of learning media, a mathematics learning media reference book was developed for junior high school. References have valid criteria on aspects of the material, language, presentation of materials, and infographics.This research aims to develop reference books and establish criteria for mathematical learning media for junior high school. The research method used is Design Research, which involves the following steps: problem identification and analysis, prototype drafting, prototype testing, and improvement. The research is conducted by reviewing theories and research findings, followed by the development of a learning media reference book that will serve as a teacher's guide for creating mathematics learning media for junior high school. The developed book is then validated by three experts in the field of mathematical learning media, including lecturers and mathematics teachers for junior high school. The conclusion of this study is that interactive learning is an effective medium for mathematics education. Some interactive media that have an impact on math learning outcomes include interactive PowerPoints, instructional videos, and Geogebra. To further enhance the development of learning media, a mathematics learning media reference book has been created specifically for junior high school. This reference book meets valid criteria in terms of material aspects, language usage, presentation of content, and infographics.

Food industry wastewater has characteristics that contain high organic matter and suspended solids. Most of the methods used are physical and chemical treatment because these methods have high efficiency and effectivity. In designing a new wastewater treatment plant, the treatability assessment is essential to any consideration or reference in planning the treatment process to be implemented. This research aims to obtain treatability assessment results that will be used as consideration in planning treatment units in WWTP according to the characteristics of wastewater tested. The removal results of the sedimentation test with Imhoff Cone were able to remove 51.2% COD, 64.04% BOD, and 95.21% TSS with the optimum settling time of 40 minutes. The samples test continued to the rapid-slow mixing test using the jar test, resulting that by adding coagulant at the optimum dose of PAC 120 mg/L, it was capable to remove 68.21% of COD, 73.22% of BOD, and up to 98.07% of TSS at the end of the process. Based on the assessment results, the physical and chemical treatment can remove suspended solids pollutant parameters with high efficiency so it will be considered to be used in planning Wastewater Treatment Plants for this food industry.

This study examined the effects of cognitive and affective-based trust on knowledge sharing among students, which influences learning performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. A survey was conducted with 730 participants, and analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling (SEM) based on the uses and gratifications (U&G) theory. The results showed that cognitive and affective trust significantly affects students’ knowledge sharing behavior on Facebook, which further influences learning performance. This study also showed that social media had become a tool for social interaction and learning, which is crucial to students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This study aims to analyze the meaning of signs related to political conflict between characters in sineprak “Satru Ing Ngepal” (SIN). The political conflicts between these figures will be analyzed for their meaning by relating them to the social-historical context of Indonesia in the New Order and Reformation Eras. The research uses a theatrical semiotic theory approach, dividing theatrical performances into 13 sign systems. Signs related to political conflict between figures will be analyzed denotatively and connotatively. The content analysis method from Kriipendorf was used to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that Senopati’s political conflict with Mangir semiotically refers to the meaning of the political conflict between the New Order and Reform rulers and the opposition. The enmity between Senopati, Juru Mertani, and Mangir refers to the meaning of the conflict between Wiranto and Prabowo Subianto. Pembayun’s marriage to Mangir means Prabowo Subianto joining President Jokowi’s government for 2019-2024. Pembayun’s courage to fight for Mataram peace with Mangir’s fief land refers to RA Kartini’s emancipation.

This study aims to determine the effect of learning models and IQ on knowledge of a healthy balanced nutritious diet. Used an experimental research method with a treatment design by level 2x2. The results of study (1) there is a difference in the increase in knowledge of students who are given a jigsaw type cooperative learning model and guided inquiry learning model based on the value of F(OA) = 50.109 and p-value = 0,000 < 0,05. (2) There is an interaction between the learning model (factor A) and IQ (factor B) towards increasing knowledge of a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet based on the value of F(OAB) = 18.12 and p-value = 0,000 < 0,05. (3) there are differences in the knowledge of students who have a high IQ with a balanced, healthy, nutritious diet using the jigsaw cooperative learning model and the guided inquiry learning model. Based on Qhitung = 3,10 > Qtabel (0,05;4:30) = 2,89. (4) there is no difference in the knowledge of students who have a low IQ with the cooperative learning type of jigsaw and guided inquiry learning models based on the value of Qcount = 0.47 < Qtabel (0,05;4:30) = 2,89

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kinerja keuangan UMKM terdampak COVID-19 di Kabupaten Pidie dan menentukan strategi pengembangan UMKM terdampak COVID-19 di Kabupaten Pidie dengan menggunakan variabel pengelolaan perusahaan pengolah, upaya pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan, pengembangan produk, dan pengembangan bisnis selama periode COVID-19. Orientation: The rapid competition among companies puts pressure on managers to maintain their business’s competitive advantage. However, because of the massive competition and economic downturn during and after the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, financial scandals occurred at a much higher rate than in the past. This phenomenon has caused organisational leaders to shift their focus from material concerns to ethical leadership contexts in the workplace. It has a strong correlation with employee attitudes. Research purpose: This research examined the effects of ethical leadership on work engagement and knowledge sharing, which influence job performance and commitment among employees to the organisations. Motivation for the study: Investigating the relationship between ethical leadership, work engagement, and knowledge sharing among employees in Indonesia can provide insight on strategies to enhance employees’ job performance and commitment to the organisation. It plays an important role in significantly obtaining organisational outcomes and goals. Main findings: A survey was conducted with 670 Indonesian government employees, and structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to validate the research framework. The results showed that ethical leadership significantly affects employees’ work engagement and knowledge-sharing, which further enhances employees’ job performance and commitment to organisations. Furthermore, the mediator variables partially mediate the relationship between ethical leadership and outcome variables (e.g., employees’ job performance and organisational commitment). Practical/managerial implications: The leaders of public organisations should address moral and rational concerns to improve service quality in society. Additionally, it should be centred on purifying employees’ and organisation leaders’ ethical concerns and communication patterns to promote society’s service quality. Contribution: The research outcomes provide insight into the fact that leadership style plays an important role in employees’ attitudes and commitment. Hence, the organisation leaders should apply it to enhance employees’ commitment to organisations and performance.

AbstractThe number on unemployment among developing countries need to be solution among education stakeholders. Some scholar offered some solutions; however, religion and social capital is still need to confirm on social and business context among students. This research investigates how religiosity influences students structural, cognitive, and relational social capital, which subsequently influences entrepreneurship self-efficacy and entrepreneurship motivation. The sample consists of 825 participants were invited in this study. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to examine the research hypotheses. Religion has a positive role in influencing students social capital. The association between religiosity and students entrepreneurship self-efficacy and entrepreneurship motivation is also partially mediated by structural, cognitive, and relational social social capital. Only Indonesian Muslim students were included in this study. Future research is therefore required to examine cross-regional, cultural, demographic, and religious factors. Education stakeholders must develop students spirituality and social capital to foster fruitful engagement and communication. They must also educate from both a business and academic standpoint. The social capital and social cognitive theories are strengthened by this study.

Higher-order thinking skills are skills that are an important aspect of teaching and learning mathematics. Mathematics and culture have a very close relationship, so the development and application of mathematical concepts in the learning process must be based on situations of daily life or local culture. In 2021, Researchers have developed a textbook of Logic and Set containing ethnomathematics oriented toward higher-order thinking skills. The textbook meets the 'Very Good' category on the validity test after being assessed by five experts. This year, the research focuses on the implementation and evaluation of the textbook in Logic and Set courses. The purpose of this research was to describe the feasibility level of the textbook. ADDIE's design research was used in this development research. The trial subjects in this research were 140 students in the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mataram who were taking the Logic and Set courses in the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques in this research were practicality questionnaires and higher-order thinking skills tests. The results of the data analysis for the practicality assessment of the textbook showed an average score of 81.44, which met the practical classification. Then the average value of the students in the final value of the Logic and Set courses is 81.90. In addition, the percentage of students who achieved a score of 75 was 76% or 106 students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the textbook meets the effective criteria.

This study intends to provide ways to help teachers and students solve problems to increase the competency skills of students to develop retail businesses independently. The research objective is to examine the development of e-marketing learning media based on the local wisdom of Sambas Songket weaving in the X Marketing Programme in a public school. The research procedure used the ADDIE Research and Development model. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research results show that 1) Students need interesting learning by using e-marketing learning media based on the local wisdom of Sambas Songket weaving; 2) The media are created using the Google Sites, Google Drive, Canva, and YouTube applications; and 3) validation of design expert n = 0.741 in a good category, media expert n = 0.879 in a good category, and material expert n = 0.821 in a good category. Individual student responses are n = 88.57% positive, small groups 97.38% very positive, and field tests 97.09% very positive; 4) The average result of the pretest was 52.19 and the posttest was 73.75, meaning that there was an increase of 21.56; 5) The results of the analysis, sig value (2-tailed) 0.00 0.05, then Ha is accepted. The products are proven to help students and teachers in learning, as well as students having thoughts about promoting Sambas Songket weaving.

Daerah aliran Sungai atau yang disebut DAS khususnya DAS Kuranji meruapakan semua kawasan yang akan mempengaruhi kualitas Batang Kuranji. Saat ini air pada Batang Kuranji mengalami peramsalahan yang serius, mulai dari debit air yang sangat fluktuatif antara musim hujan dan kemarau, terjadinya pendangkalan sungai di bagian hilir, intensifnya penambangan galian C di bagian Hulu dan Tengah Kawasan DAS, alih fungsi lahan yang sangat intensif di bagian Hulu DAS, sampah yang potensial merusak badan sungai dan lingkungan, semuanya menjadikan DAS semakin tidak sehat. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan pemahaman pada masyarakat di kawasan DAS Kuranji pentingnya memelihara DAS untuk kehidupan yang bersinergi antara alam dan manusia secara kesinambungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan dan 2 kali tiap minggu di 5 kecamatan yang berada dalam kawasan DAS Kuranji, yaitu Koto Tangah, Padang Utara, Nanggalo, Kuranji dan Pauh. Metode pelaksanaannya adalah dengan memberikan ceramah, diskusi (tanya jawab) dan buku program kerja FDAS Kota Padang pada Camat. Hasil kegiatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kegiatan sosialisasi memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemehaman masyarakat yang berada di dalam DAS Kuranji dalam upaya pemeliharaan DAS. Masyarakat mengharapkan kegiatan sosialisasidapat lebih intensif dilaksakan hingga ke kelurahan agar hasilnya jauh lebih efektif dibandingkan hanya di Kecamatan saja.

Aim: The study aimed to evaluate the association between quality of life and wound severity in patients with recurrent diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). Design: A cross-sectional study. Methods: The total sample comprised 86 DFU patients. The Diabetic Foot Ulcer Scale - Short Form scale was used to collect quality of life data, and Wagner grading was used to assess wound severity. Statistical analyses were conducted using the Mann-Whitney U-test and Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: The results showed that quality of life (QOL) in all domains was low. There were no significant differences between demographic and wound characteristics and QOL of patients. Significant differences were found between diabetes mellitus (DM) duration and Leisure / enjoying life (p = 0.020); Trigger and Worried about ulcers (p = 0.002); Trigger and Dependence / daily life (p = 0.006); Trigger and Negative emotions (p = 0.006); and Trigger and Bothered by ulcer care (p = 0.000). However, there were no significant differences between demographic and wound characteristics and physical health. Conclusion: The study showed that QOL of patients with recurrent diabetic ulcers was low. There was no correlation between quality of life or wound severity and recurrent DFUs. However, there was a correlation between DM duration and Leisure / enjoying life; Trigger and Worried about the ulcer; Trigger and Dependency / daily life; Trigger and Negative emotions; and Trigger and Bothered by ulcer care.

The decline in financial literacy about capital markets among Indonesians raises concerns that the growing number of investors is at risk of financial fraud. This study introduces a novel approach to comprehensively examine how Indonesian young adults make investment choices, mainly when influenced by social media and their different literacy levels about financial markets in the digital age context. The central and dual roles of capital market literacy as an independent and intervening variable expand upon the existing framework of related studies. An empirical online survey with a valid sample of 314 respondents from Indonesia is used as the primary data for the study. Using the partial structural equation model, our results indicate that both social media and capital market literacy directly and positively impact investors' trading behavior. This suggests that a deeper understanding of capital market literacy, coupled with the influence of social media, plays a crucial role in shaping how investors engage in trading activities. Furthermore, this study also found that the mediating role of capital market literacy significantly affects trading behavior, indicating its importance in explaining how social media influences investment decisions among young adults.

The COVID-19 pandemic and technological development lead to a shift in economic, educational, and social behavior, subsequently influencing human life patterns and new realities through digital literacy. Education sector development and quality depend on how the employees are adapted to the current condition. Therefore, this study is directed to investigate whether and how organizational factors, including IT training, digital infrastructure, management support, and work-family conflict, affect employees who work in Indonesia’s universities. It also examines how the mediators influence employee performance. 596 employees were recruited for a survey study. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the research hypotheses. The results show that IT training, digital infrastructure, and work-family conflict positively and significantly affect employees’ digital literacy. Meanwhile, management support plays a more minor role in influencing employees’ digital literacy. Furthermore, as a mediator variable, digital literacy strongly moderates the relationship between organizational and individual factors influencing employee performance. This study’s findings provide stakeholders with information about the relationship between individual and organizational factors and employee performance. The organization’s sustainability should not only attract the required market segmentation but also enhance, strengthen, and engage the employees’ sense of belonging and commitment.

Technology in agriculture has been widely and massively applied. One of them is automation technology and the use of big data through the Internet of Things (IoT). The use of IoT allows a process to run automatically without human intervention. Extreme weather changes and narrow land use are one of the main problems in agriculture. The development of IoT devices has been widely developed regarding this subject. One of them is a soil moisture detection system. This study aims to build an IoT soil moisture detection system. The system will use a sensor as input which is then processed in a microcontroller device and the prediction results are sent to the IoT cloud platform. Prediction results are obtained using a time series model and then its performance is evaluated using RMSE. This model was chosen because the structure of the observed soil moisture data is based on time. The results of this study indicate that the soil moisture IoT system can work well. This is supported by the results of the prediction evaluation value of the RMSE = 1.175682x10-5 model which is very small.

Words can motivate individuals to take action. In culinary sector, distinct ethnic verbal branding is one of the techniques to identify a restaurant brand. Specific phrases or words are selected to establish a powerful brand. This study aims to analyze the language selection for verbal branding and ethnicity representation in restaurants that use ethnic brands in Pekanbaru, one of the metropolis cities with the largest economic activities in Sumatera Island. Six restaurants were selected for their popular atmosphere, service, and cuisines authenticity specific to ethnic brand. This qualitative research was conducted from the perspective of cultural studies using an ethnolinguistic approach to collect data from three-month observations and interviews with the owners of purposively-selected restaurant to help understand the phenomenon. The results indicated that, lexically, the names of the restaurants contained ethnic words directly associated with certain ethnicities and are chosen to create a memorable brand. The analysis of associative meaning reveals that the restaurant brand represents an ethnicity with its uniqueness to produce strong branding which attracts customers. The combined lexical and associative meaning shows that restaurant branding represents not only the restaurant owners’ place of origin or ethnicity but also the authentic menus that define their culinary business. Research implications suggest the effectiveness of incorporating local words and ethnic representation in the restaurants’ names to bring in economic benefits and international branding.

This community service aims to provide education and guidance to new members of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) South Sumatra, especially students, in analyzing and providing solutions to social problems around their environment. The method used in this service was counseling, followed by a discussion. The instrument of the activity was a questionnaire, and the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this community service activity provided an understanding for students who are members of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) to apply their social analysis more sensitively and empathetic. It can support a sense of brotherhood between members and the community, increasing a sense of security, peace, tranquility, and prosperity.

The development of pellet fuel from biomass has a great opportunity because Indonesia is an agricultural country. Utilizing this biomass can increase economic value, minimize waste generated, and reduce emissions released into the environment. In this study, the pellet fuel was made from sawdust obtained from the Semarang wood sawmill industry. The raw materials are mixed with adhesive, water and then formed using a pellet machine. The high water content in the pellets that have just come out of the pelletizing (27%) process requires drying treatment. The aim of this work was to find out the effect of drying time on the moisture content of the pellet fuel to meet existing standards. The variation of drying time used is 10, 15 and 20 minutes at 100° C. The results showed that the moisture content of the pellet was 22% (10 min), 19% (15 min) and 17% (20 min). The water content in the pellets will decrease 4% on average along with the drying time. However, the water content was still slightly higher than the specified standard (8-13%). Based on model predictions, the necessary drying time is 30-35 min. Ash content obtained from this study is 0.7%. The drying time can affect the density of the resulting pellet product. Accordingly, further studies are needed to determine the drying optimum temperature.

This study aims to: 1) Analyze the socioeconomic characteristics and economic coping strategies of fishing households in Tanjung Jabung Timur and Tanjung Jabung Barat; 2) Assess the level of food security among fishing households in these districts; 3) Examine the influence of socioeconomic characteristics and economic coping strategies on the food security of fishing households in Tanjung Jabung Timur and Tanjung Jabung Barat. Data were collected through surveys in four sample villages across the two districts. Descriptive statistics, difference tests, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were employed as analytical tools. The findings indicate that economic coping strategies among fishing families, in terms of active income-generating strategies, are categorized as low. In contrast, passive strategies related to cutting back expenses are considered moderate. Overall, the level of food security among fishing households is relatively good. Furthermore, the food security level of fishing households is significantly influenced by family characteristics and coping strategies. Coping strategies directly impact and act as intervening variables between family characteristics and food security.

This study aims to analyze: 1) the socio-economic characteristics of households of informal sector workers in Jambi City; 2) the coping strategies of these households in facing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic; 3) the influence of household socio-economic characteristics on the economic coping strategies of informal sector workers in Jambi City. The primary data used in this study were sourced from a survey of households of informal sector workers in Jambi City. The analysis utilized descriptive statistical tools and structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings of the study reveal that: 1) informal sector workers are generally of productive age, with relatively good education, and predominantly engaged in trading and daily wage labor; 2) the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted the social conditions of these households, particularly in terms of income, savings, and non-food expenditures; 3) in the context of economic coping strategies, the strategy of generating additional income is more commonly employed by these households compared to cutting back expenses; 4) the characteristics of the wife and the family significantly influence the coping strategies adopted by households of informal sector workers. In contrast, the characteristics of the household head do not have a significant impact.

Introduction: The company often uses the spread of the Covid 19 virus in Indonesia in carrying out the Termination of Employment (PHK). Force Majeure is regulated by Article 164 of Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower but does not regulate epidemics or diseases as force majeure. Hardship itself is not regulated, and this doctrine is not yet known in Indonesia, as evidenced by the lack of contracts implementing the hardship clause. Purposes of the Research: The purpose of this study is to provide legal protection for employees who have experienced termination of employment due to the Covid-19 pandemic based on the principle of hardship. Methods of the Research: The research method used is normative juridical or doctrinal law research. It is research that uses the approach of legislation in the governance and legal values that live in society. Results of the Research: The results of this study include two things, namely the principle of force majeure or hardship in termination of employment, Companies that terminate employment should renegotiate by delaying work or known as the hardship principle. Using the force majeure principle causes workers to be unable to carry out their obligations, namely doing work. Based on the freedom of contract, the hardship principle principle clause can continue to carry out the agreement for workers affected by Covid-19. While the second is the legal consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on work agreements, basically, in resolving the legal consequences caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, honesty from the parties is needed. This principle is known as good faith. It greatly determines the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic in the termination of employment by the company so that the parties can renegotiate their work agreement.

Banking plays an important role in business and economic growth. However, since a couple decades ago, there have been issues with efficiency and performance. This paper aims to examine Indonesia’s Islamic banking performance through non-parametric production efficiency analysis before and after the COVID-19 pandemic, 2010–2021. This study differentiated between different dimensions of Indonesia’s Islamic banks (IIB) finance and non-finance aspects, as well as investigated the relationships between these dimensions of finance, including assets, deposits, equity, financing, and income, and non-financial variables, namely employees and offices. Non-parametric analysis, with the input-oriented variable constant return to scale (CRS) and returns to scale (VRS) models as a framework, data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used to calculate the IIB of overall, pure, and scale efficiency. However, the resources of technology IIB management are lacking, as well as macroeconomic and environmental effects. This study found that IIB operational needs to enhance investment in technology beyond the office. This means that the number of offices has a smaller impact on enhancing deposits and revenue. Technology investment has a crucial role in enhancing IIB equity, income, and innovation service. As a result, IIB managers and policymakers must improve their efficiency scores in order to increase competition and innovation. Furthermore, IIB needs to increase and spend their assets and experience to enhance technology, which significantly affects efficiency.

Based on Article 201 paragraph (6) of Law Number 10 of 2016, Indonesia has an agenda to hold the General Election for Regional Heads (Pilkada) on September 23, 2020. This Covid-19 pandemic period has caused simultaneous Regional Head elections (Pilkada) in seven districts and cities in South Sumatra (Sumsel) were officially postponed, this delay was due to the corona virus outbreak or Covid-19. The purpose of this study is to explain, analyze and find laws in providing alternatives for filling regional head positions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses empirical juridical (field research), namely examining the applicable legal provisions and what is happening in reality in society. The results show several alternative patterns of filling regional head positions during the Covid-19 pandemic, including through the appointment of a temporary acting or task executor (Plt), indirect elections, and elections using the electronic election system. Each pattern has its advantages and disadvantages, with strong logical and juridical arguments that can be taken into consideration.

Abstract: Several gravediggers only use predictions to determine qibla direction during burials without appropriate instruments. Therefore, this study aims to accurately determine the Mahligai and Papan Tinggi tomb complexes’ qibla direction in Barus, Central Tapanuli, using the theodolite. This is descriptive and qualitative research with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The result showed that the qibla direction in the Mahligai tomb complex is deviated by 1°, 11.8o, and 29o to the north, west-south, and south, respectively. Meanwhile, the qibla direction at the Papan Tinggi tomb complex is deviated 13° to the north and is different from the Mahligai tomb complex. The rubber plant (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg.) is the main natural rubber-producing species. Researches on rubber has been carried out for more than a century. Researchers and academics should stay up to date with the current scientific issues including latex harvesting in H. brasiliensis Muell. Arg. This article presents a bibliometric analysis of scientific literature indexed by Scopus and published from 2018 to 2022. The literature was categorized into three sub-topics i.e., latex harvesting techniques (38 papers), physiological mechanisms (41 papers), and oxidative stress induced by latex harvesting practices (18 papers). Metadata validation was performed using Mendeley reference management software and bibliometric analysis was carried out using VOSviewer bibliometric network visualization software. The results on the latex harvesting technique showed that most of the articles were related to the development of automatic tapping machines. This indicates a trend that latex harvesting techniques are likely shifting from manual tapping to fully automated methods using machines and robots. In terms of physiological mechanisms related to latex production, the mechanism of rubber biosynthesis and ethylene response at the genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic levels predominated the finding. Research on oxidative stress induced by tapping mainly focuses on the effects of mechanical wounding and ethylene stimulation, while research on antioxidants is still limited. In the past five years, biotechnology and molecular analysis are the main tools to study physiological mechanisms and oxidative stress. This can be a consideration for scientists and research institutions to develop laboratories and human resources to be able to conduct molecular-based research.

This study aims to examine the capital form and transformation in ethnic restaurant brands in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Bourdieu’s concept of forms of capital was used to appraise cultural production in six ethnic restaurant brands, including Kim Teng, Ayam Penyet Pemuda Semarang, Bare Solok, Sultan Resto, Pondok Patin, and Koki Sunda. Direct observations and in-depth ethnographic interviews with restaurant owners were conducted. The results revealed that the forms of capital in ethnic restaurant brands are closely related to ethnicity and the restaurant industry forms a culture of production. Moreover, the six restaurants produce four different aspects of cultural production, including community, identity, culture and history, and partnership. Their transformation forms economic capital as the restaurants were established for financial benefits. Hence, it can be inferred that economic capital needs to be supported by symbolic, social, and cultural capital for financial benefits.

The decline in production prices and land ownership shifts have caused people to choose to convert oil palm plantations into corn plantations. Changes in land cover from plantation crops to annual crops is potentially to reduce the chemical properties of peat. This study aims to identify changes in the chemical properties of peat on land for conversion of oil palm to corn plantations. This research was carried out from May to September 2021. Observations and peat sampling were carried out using the Transect method, perpendicular from the drainage channel based on a distance of 2m, 200m, and 400m from the main canal in maize conversion age < 2 years, (3) maize planting aged conversion 2 years. For each land use, 3 sample points were taken with 2 replications at a depth of 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm. The chemical properties of peatlands that have been converted from oil palm plantations to corn plantations include pH 4.18-4.98, water content 163.76-495.81%, ash content 15.5-72.12%, C-Organic 16.18-49.02%, N-Total 1.25-6.92%, P-Total 5.56-255.87 ppm, P-Available 0.63-157.43 ppm, K-dd 0, 38-1.98 me/100g, Na-dd 3.97-13.84 me/100g, Ca-dd 12.26-23.12 me/100g, Mg-dd 14.66-50.84 me/100g , CEC 63.30-498.16 me/100g, total acidity 570-600 cmol/kg-1. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Self-regulated learning mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 46 mahasiswa Tadris Fisika UIN Antasari Banjarmasin. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket Self-regulated learning yang terdiri dari 17 pernyataan dengan skala Likert 1-5. Indikator Self-regulated learning meliputi strategi kognitif, strategi motivasi, dan strategi perilaku. Item pernyataan dalam angket telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel (α=0,832). Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif meliputi skor minimal, skor maksimal, mean, dan standar deviasi. Selanjutnya Self-regulated learning mahasiswa dipersentase dan dikategorisasi menjadi lima kategori yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup, kurang, kurang sekali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata skor Self-regulated learning mahasiswa adalah 58,91 (dengan ketercapaian 69%) dengan SD 7,73; skor minimal 34; skor maksimal 73. Rata-rata persentase setiap indikator adalah strategi kognitif 68%, strategi motivasi 68%, dan strategi perilaku 72%. Self-regulated learning mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik 2%, baik 22%, cukup 65%, kurang 7%, kurang sekali 4%. Sebagian besar Self-regulated learning mahasiswa berada pada kategori cukup. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang intervensi yang dapat meningkatkan Self-regulated learning mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran.

This paper presents about the religious politics carried out by the Bobby-Aulia couple in winning the Medan City Election. Data was collected by interviewing the informants consisting of the Bobby-Aulia pair's success/winning team. From the interviews conducted, it was found that the political religious communication strategy carried out by the Bobby-Aulia couple in winning the Pilkada was by building and strengthening power relations in religious organizations by packaging political messages promising not to be nepotism in the election of officials, and to collaborate between religious communities and make a plural society as a force in the development of the city of Medan. Using campaign jargon with religious language, namely 'Medan Berkah' to show emotional closeness to Islamic groups as the majority voters. In addition, political communication through the pulpit of da'wah by consolidating the clerics who are indirectly involved in the winning machine.

Central Sulawesi Province in Indonesia has great potential for horticultural commodities, namely local red onion Palu. In the current climate change, local farmers are still watering plants in the conventional way. The automatic watering system simplifies the work of local farmers. This device uses a soil moisture sensor as a soil moisture detector and Arduino as a program brain. This study aims to determine the position of soil moisture sensor, the optimal length of watering time and analyze the quality of data stored. The experiment was carried out using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The position of the soil moisture sensor was analyzed by Profile Analysis. The optimal length of watering time was determined by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Least Significant Difference (LSD). The quality of data stored was determined by a number of missing values and frequency of watering. The results showed that in soil planting media the position of soil moisture sensor had no significant effect, while in others planting media (water and combination of water and soil) the position of the sensor had a significant effect. The optimal watering time was 3 seconds. The stored data has low quality in terms of missing values and lack of consistency.

Purpose. This study aims to analyze economic coping strategies and their relationship to the food security of poor rural households. Methodology / approach. This research was conducted by comparing food crop farming households with those who farm plantation crops. The used data were sourced from surveys in four sample rural areas in two districts of Jambi Province, Indonesia, namely Merangin Regency and Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. The used analysis tool was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results. The results show that poor rural households’ economic coping strategies are still low, both in the context of a passive strategy (cutting back expenses) and an active strategy (generating income). Plantation households have a lower economic coping strategy than food crop farming households. The level of food security in food crop households is relatively good compared to that of plantation crop households. Nearly half of food crop households are categorized as having good food security, while only around 20 % of plantation crop households are so categorized. Family characteristics and coping strategies significantly influence household food security in plantation crop households. On the other hand, the level of household food security in food crop households is not influenced by coping strategies, but only by family characteristics. Originality / scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the study is in a study approach that links household food security with coping strategies and family socio-economic conditions. Furthermore, this study specifically conducted a comparative study of households of food crop farmers and plantation crop farmers, considering that these are the two main livelihood commodities for rural residents. Practical value / implications. Through this research, it is hoped that the concept/theory of improving the food security of poor households (especially in rural areas) can be developed based on the potential and real conditions of the households themselves, so that the formulated policies can be more effective and sustainable.

The Gender Development Index (GDI) is a development index of the quality of human life that is more concerned with gender status. GDI can be used to determine human development between males and females. This study uses the Spatial Durbin Model (SDM) method. The SDM method was formed due to the spatial influence on the dependent and independent variables. The purpose of this study is to determine the GDI model in Sulawesi Island and the factors that influence it. The factors that have a significant effect on the Gender Development Index (GDI) in Sulawesi Island using the Spatial Durbin Model (SDM) are Life Expectancy, per capita contests, average years of schooling, and labor force participation. This research focuses on predicting the streamflow of the Anai-weir catchment using the SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tools) and Mock models. The catchment studied is approximately 34,024 ha wide. The rainfall and climatological data were collected from the three nearest rainfall stations, namely Kandang IV (13.8 km far), Kasang (15.2 km far), and Sicincin Stations (11.2 km far), from 2010 to 2019. The first research methodology is to delineate the catchment, form a Hydrologic Response Unit (HRU), and then enter the climatological data into the SWAT model to estimate the daily streamflow. This daily streamflow is then averaged over a semi-monthly period. The second research methodology is to estimate an evapotranspiration depth based on the climatological data using the Modified Penman method, and then predict the semi-monthly average-daily streamflow using the Mock model. The results obtained from both methods are then compared with the Anai-weir AWLR-data. The average results from each method, namely, the SWAT model, the Mock model, and the AWLR data have the same tendency, but the Mock model results are closer than the SWAT model results to the AWLR data. This indicates that the Mock model is more suitable than the SWAT model for the existing data conditions. Even though the SWAT model considers more variables than the Mock model does.
