Agricultural scale management is an important means of improving agricultural production efficiency. To answer the controversy over whether different agricultural scale management models can improve production efficiency, this paper obtained 117,627 samples from 68 domestic and foreign literature and used meta-analysis to study the effects of land-scale operation (LSO) and service-scale operation (SSO) on agricultural production efficiency (APE). The moderators that affect the relationship between LSO, SSO, and APE are also examined. The research results show that (1) both LSO and SSO positively impact production efficiency, but LSO has a stronger impact. (2) The relationship between LSO and APE is positively regulated by the agricultural production and operation environment, characteristics of the agricultural location, degree of farmers’ participation, and types of APE, and negatively regulated by the research situation. (3) The relationship between SSO and APE is negatively regulated by APE types and data types. Therefore, the government should promote agricultural dual-scale operation according to the local conditions through the complementary advantages of LSO and SSO, so as to fully release the promotion potential of APE.

This paper selects the daily data of the exchange rates of Chinese Yuan (CNY) over the currencies of 14 countries along the Belt and Road, Shanghai composite index and Shenzhen composite index to study the influence of the Belt and Road Initiative on the linkages between exchange rates and Chinese stock index based on the flow-oriented model and the stock-oriented model. To reflect the fluctuations in daily data and reduce the central bank's interference with the exchange rate, two fuzzy techniques are used to process data, that is, the centroid based measure and the integral based measure. Then we judge the relationship between exchange rate and stock index through the Pearson correlation coefficient and the Granger causality test. Besides, we further compare the results and their differences by the classic crisp method and our two fuzzy techniques, which enable us to judge their correlation more accurately, and provide a reference for a wider application of the proposed fuzzy methods. We find that there is a correlation between exchange rate and stock index under certain conditions, and the Belt and Road initiative strengthens the relationship between the Chinese foreign exchange market and the stock market, more importantly, the fuzzy techniques are effective to judge this relation.

E-commerce interest linkage mechanisms serve as an effective solution to the problems of farmer–market cooperation, agricultural supply-side reforms, and farmers’ income growth. This study, guided by the theory of planned behavior, undertook an evolutionary game analysis of farmer–enterprise cooperation with government interventions with farmers. Based on data from 554 questionnaires administered in Mei County, Shaanxi Province, China, this study found a difference between the realistic and optimal choices of farmers. In addition, this study used a structural equation model to investigate the influence of government policies and farmers’ cognition on the participation willingness and behaviors of farmers in e-commerce interest-linkage mechanisms. The results showed that the optimal choice for farmers in a farmer–enterprise cooperative game is participation in e-commerce, and government policies can be used to improve farmer–enterprise e-commerce interest-linkage mechanisms. Farmers’ basic characteristics and experiences impacted their cognition of e-commerce, which, in turn, had a significant positive effect on their e-commerce participation willingness and behaviors. Government policies had a positive effect on farmers’ experiences, cognition of e-commerce, and participation behaviors, but no direct positive impact on farmers’ willingness to participate. Government policies and farmers’ basic characteristics interacted and acted together on the participation willingness and behavior of farmers.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, selling by short video has become a new online selling model that enhances the communication between buyers and sellers. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the key factors influencing consumers’ purchase of agricultural products on short-video platforms. Additionally, it is also important to figure out the influencing mechanism and action path. Specifically, based on the ‘Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR)’ framework and structural equation model, we delineate and empirically test hypotheses regarding the effects of key components on consumers’ purchase intentions and behaviors. The key components refer to three external stimuli of consumers’ social network, sellers’ resource endowment, and both sides’ infrastructure development levels. Simultaneously, we analyze the mediating role of consumers’ perceived value and perceived risk between external stimuli and consumers’ purchase intentions. This paper argues that short-video merchants improving the influence of their stores and platforms strengthening supervision and management are the keys to ensuring stable growth in consumers’ willingness to purchase agricultural products sold on short videos and promoting the development of the short-video live industry.

Internet of Things (IOT) is being widely used especially in industry sectors. The IOT techniques provide more information for the inventory control. With the increased fierce competition in market economy, the supply chain is at the core of a successful enterprise. In today's context, it is an inevitable trend to optimize the inventory cost of supply chains. Separating all aspects of the supply chain impedes controlling inventory costs of the whole system with traditional approaches. Therefore, in this paper, we consider supply chains consisting of multiple suppliers, a manufacturer, and multiple distributors. The time cost of delayed transportation is integrated into previous studies to construct a new model, which is solved with an immune genetic algorithm. Unlike the genetic algorithm, the memory function and adjustment function of the immune algorithm are included in this algorithm. Different from the immune algorithm, genetic operators of the genetic algorithm are included. The immune genetic algorithm effectively overcomes the disadvantages of the genetic algorithm, improving global search ability and search efficiency. The validity and rationality of the optimized model are assessed in comparison with the previous results.

Fertigation technology is key to solve water pollution and inefficient fertilizer use. However, some early techniques cannot adapt to the current situation of labor shortages and large-scale planting. Therefore, it is necessary to consider farmers’ willingness to adopt more adaptive techniques. Specifically, we focus on whether early technology adoption will hinder technology renewal and whether the factors affecting the adoption of early and latest techniques are consistent. Through theoretical analysis and a survey, we find that farmers’ endowments such as income and labor force only affect the adoption intentions to the high-cost technique (Intelligent Irrigation Control System), but not early techniques (Venturi injector and Differential pressure tank), while farmers’ information processing ability and information acquisition channels affect both. Finally, the results of Propensity Score Matching show that early technology adoption will not become an obstacle to technology renewal.

Internet finance is a financial mode combining traditional financial industry with Internet technologies, which has become a crucial part of the financial field. Due to the rapid change of information technologies and public financial needs, Internet finance has produced quite a few specific operation modes, which have interested many scholars. To better appreciate its development process and innovation modes, we used bibliometrics to analyze 2,877 articles on Internet finance in Web of Science. Through the co-word network, co-citation network and various results generated by CiteSpace, we recognized six main modes of Internet finance, that is, Internet bank, peer to peer lending (P2P lending), crowdfunding, big data finance, digital currency and fintech. Emerging research topics and the development history of each mode are also detected. We find that the mainstream modes in current research are P2P lending and crowdfunding and the research on fintech and digital currency has just begun. Through the review, we also suggest some research directions for the research direction of each mode. These results will help to deepen relevant scholars’ understanding of Internet finance and provide guidance for them to choose research directions.

Evolutionary spatial game is a promising way to unravel the mystery of cooperation, and it has been well recognized that spatial structure could enable cooperation to persist. Schweitzer et al.’s lattice model provides an innovative method to solve the problem. In this paper, we conduct simulations using the same von Neumann neighborhood as in Schweitzer et al.’s study (2002) and observe the effect of initial population and lattice size on the evolution of cooperation. Then, we extend the model with a more complicated Moore neighborhood and self-playing rule for each central player. Simulation results not only provide new evidence for the persistence of cooperation in the evolution with spatial structures, but also investigate critical conditions for the spatial coexistence or the invasion of cooperators and defectors with the more complicated neighborhood.
