We have searched for the inclusive reaction {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup {plus minus}}{r arrow}{ital e}{sup {plus minus}}{ital X} using a tagged sample of 68 {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup {plus minus}} produced in the reaction {ital e}{sup +}{ital e}{sup {minus}}{r arrow}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup {plus minus}}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup *{minus plus}} at a center-of-mass energy of 4.14 GeV. The tagged sample consists of the decays {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r arrow}{phi}{pi}{sup +}, {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r arrow}{ital {bar K}} {sup *0}{ital K}{sup +}, and {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r arrow}{ital {bar K}} {sup 0}{ital K}{sup +}. We determine {ital B}({ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r arrow}{ital e}{sup +}{ital X})=0.05{sub {minus}0.05}{sup +0.05}{plus minus}0.02, which corresponds to a limit of {ital B}({ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r arrow}{ital e}{sup +}{ital X}){lt}0.20, at the 90% confidence level.
