Abstract: Herein, we have reported an efficient synthesis of 2-aryl benzimidazoles by reacting ophenylenediamines and substituting aromatic aldehydes using SO4 2−/ZrO2-TiO2 as a heterogeneous catalyst. This methodology is straightforward to obtain 2-aryl benzimidazoles with good to excellent yields. It has been performed in ethanol as a green solvent. The reported protocol has some advantages such as a safe and reusable heterogeneous catalyst, without any need for column chromatography to obtain desired products. The catalyst can be recovered for up to five catalytic cycles without significant loss in the catalytic activity.

Student Record Management System is a software helpful for students as well as department staff. The Student Record Management System (SRMS) is a web-based application designed to manage student records efficiently. Using the Django framework, SRMS includes features such as registration, enrolments, grading, photos, remarks, and record tracking The system focuses on student-related data, including their CGPA, address, phone number, fees, and other details. Administrators and faculty can access this information quickly and efficiently, reducing the time and effort required to manage student records. In addition to the SRMS, the project also includes a department website. The website is designed to provide information about the department, its facilities, and its programs. It includes a news section, an events section, a gallery section, and resources for students such as course materials and other important data. The website is also integrated with the SRMS, allowing students to access their personal records, view their grades and communicate with faculty and administrators. The website's responsive design enables students to access the website from any device, including smartphones and tablets. Overall, the SRMS and the department website provide a comprehensive solution for managing student records and improving the academic experience for students. The project's use of Django framework and responsive design make it a scalable and reliable solution for any educational institution. Moreover, the website's integration with the SRMS allows for a seamless user experience, reducing the time and effort required for administrative tasks. This can free up resources and enable faculty and administrators to focus on more strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of education and support for students

The construction industry provides shelter for a variety of societies and for a variety of purposes. A security culture is concerned with ensuring safety and avoiding risks. A questionnaire is used to collect information for this project. The study's questionnaire included questions with fixed response categories as well as open-ended questions. Three ratios were calculated, and a graph was plotted for analysis. The Accident Loss Ratio (ALR), Safety Investment Ratio (SIR), and Accident Occurrence Index (AOI) are the three ratios calculated. An estimation of 0.672% of the contract amount was found to be the optimum safety investment for a construction project. It was found that the overall cost to the contractor (accident loss plus safety investment) was 1.148% of the total contract amount. It isn't intended to suggest the scary assumption that 0.672% is the optimum value and that a safety investment higher than 0.672% is not necessary. In actuality, 0.672% needs to be thought of as the very minimal amount to invest in safety in a construction project. The purpose of the graphical representation is to demonstrate the effect of safety investment in a project on the severity of accidents and accident loss occurrences on site, which ultimately reduces the contractor's profit margin. The main goal of the graphical representation is to understand the importance of safety investment in terms of both tangible and intangible benefits such as greater peace of mind for workers, a better image of the organisation in the market, and greater job satisfaction for employers and employees, as well as monetary benefits such as increased profit margins.

Skin cancer at its early stages can be cured. But when it is not recognized at its early stages, it begins to spread to other parts of the body and can be deadly. Benign Melanoma is simply appearance of moles on skin. A normal mole is usually an evenly coloured brown, tan, or black spot on the skin. It can be either flat or raised. Skin burns are the deadly form of cancers in humans. If skin burns are detected at early stages, it can be cured completely. So, an early detection of skin cancer can save the patients. Skin burns are of two types- Benign and Malignant Melanoma. Benign melanoma is not a deadly condition, but malignant melanoma is a deadly form. Both resemble same in appearance at the initial stages. Only an expert dermatologist can classify which one is benign and which one is malignant. The CNN based Classification methodology uses Image processing techniques. Main advantage of this computer-based CNN classification is that patient does not need to go to hospitals and undergo various painful diagnosing techniques like Biopsy.

Background The advantage of simultaneous separation and quantification is the reduction of analysis time and consumption of solvents and reagents. Objective The objective of the present investigation was to optimize and validate a novel, rapid, and simple reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of acephate, dinotefuran, and emamectin benzoate in a pesticide formulation. Method The chromatographic separation and quantification were accomplished by using Kromasil CN column (250 mm × 4.6 mm; 5 μm) with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and water [0.1% (v/v) triethylamine, pH 2.7 with 10% (v/v) orthophosphoric acid] in the ratio of 50:50 (v/v) with a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and diode array detection at the wavelength of (215 nm and 245 nm). Results The HPLC method was able to separate and quantify all the actives in the formulation by isocratic elution within 10 min. The method was fully validated in accordance with the SANCO and Collaborative International Pesticide Analytical Council guidelines concerning system suitability, specificity, linearity, precision, accuracy, and robustness. All the analytical parameters are within the range of acceptable limits in the guidelines. Conclusions The validated method was successfully applied to a pesticide formulation. Highlights The novelty of the current research work lies in the development of the simple and rapid HPLC method for simultaneous determination of acephate, dinotefuran, and emamectin benzoate in wettable granular formulation.

The present investigation on “Studies on heterosis for yield and its components in pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum L.)” was conducted during Kharif-2020, at Department of Agriculture Botany, Vasantrao Naik Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, National Agricultural Research Project, Aurangabad and College of Agriculture, Golegaon. The experimental material included in the present study comprised of five females (lines) and twelve restorers (testers) and sixty crosses. The experimental material was evaluated for twelve characters viz; days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, earhead length (cm), earhead girth(cm), number of nodes per plant, plant height(cm), total number of tillers per plant, number of effective tillers per plant, Fe content (ppm), Zn content (ppm), grain yield per plant (g) and grain yield per hectare (kg). The hybrids 02888A x 15006R, 02333A x 15006R, 00444A x 15351R, 99111A x 15020R and 99111A x 15713R exhibited high mean values for grain yield per plant and highly significant specific combining ability effects and wider adaptation across the environments. These hybrids could be utilized to exploit heterosis for grain yield. The hybrids 00444A x 15351R, 99111A x 15020R, 00111A x 15713R and 02888A x 15392R were found early for days to maturity. The hybrids 02888A x 15006R, 00444A x 15351R and 02333A x 15351R were found to contain high Fe content, whereas 99111A x 15020R, 02333A x 15351R and 02333A x 15020R had high Zn content.

Cannabinoids like cannabidiol, cannabinol, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC) and several others are present in Cannabis drug. Under the NDPS Act of 1985, the cultivation, possession, use, transportation and trade of cannabis is crime. It is crucial forensic laboratory practice to identify and quantify Δ9-THC for prosecuting and reward purposes. In current study, a routine method for detecting Δ9-THC in cannabis based on fast gas chromatography coupled to flame ionization detector (fast GC-FID) was developed and validated. The method has analysis time of 7.0 min and outstanding linearity (r2 > 0.999), with good repeatability (intraday < 2.55%; interday < 4.5%) and sensitivity (LOD = 1.86 ppm LOQ = 6.214). The fast GC-FID method suitability for detection and quantitation of Δ9-THC in cannabis, was tested successfully. Therefore, the developed Fast GC-FID method could be a valid alternative for a fast, robust and sensitive determination of Δ9-THC present in seized cannabis.

Medicinal plants have bioactive compounds which are used for curing of various human diseases and also play an important role in healing. Secondary constituents contain alkaloids, flavonoids, phenol, saponin, steroids and tannins. Medicinal plants have anticancer, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, antidiuretic and anti- inflammation activities ect. The increasing interest in powerful biological activity of secondary metabolites outlined the necessity of determining their contents in medicinal plants. Lam () is a fast-growing and drought-resistant tree of the family. The tree is known with some common names: miracle, ben oil, drumstick, horseradish or simply moringa. Phytochemical studies of plant organs showed the plant as a rich source of primary and secondary metabolites belonging to different classes of organic compounds. Pharmacological studies confirmed the use of the plant to cure several diseases and to possess nutraceutical properties. The objective of this study was to investigate pharmacognostical, phytochemical features and antioxidant activity of hydroalcoholic extracts of leaves by using DPPH assay method. The different pharmacognostical parameters were evaluated as per standard protocols with some modifications. Qualitative analysis of various phytochemical constituents and quantitative analysis of total phenol and flavonoids were determined by the well-known test protocol available in the literature. Quantitative analysis of phenolic and flavonoids was carried out by Folins Ciocalteau reagent method and aluminium chloride method respectively. The antioxidant activity of hydroalcoholic extract of the leaves was assessed against DPPH method using standard protocols.Phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids, tannins, amino acid and carbohydrate. The total phenolic and flavonoids content of leaves of hydroalcoholic extract was 0.864and 1.014 mg/100mg respectively. The activities of hydroalcoholic leaves extract against DPPH assay method were concentration dependent with IC values of ascorbic acid and extracts 17.68 and 79.10µg/ml respectively. The present study concluded that the crude extract of is a rich source of secondary phytoconstituents which impart significant antioxidant potential. The findings of the present study will be helpful to phytochemists, pharmacologists and pharmaceutical industries.

Blanching is a thermal pre-treatment done before other processing operations, in which food items are briefly heated to modify texture and other sensory characteristics. Blanching of the fish meat before pickle preparationis done to stabilise the texture and salt added for flavour enhancement and antimicrobial action. In the present study, freshwater fish species pangas (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) was selected for the manufacturing of fish pickles. Raw pangas fish strips were treated by four different blanching temperatures accordingly 950C, 1000C, 1100C, 1200C for 5 min with the different molar concentrations of salt solution like T1 (0 molar NaCl), T2 (0.5 molar NaCl), T3 (1 molar NaCl) and T4 (1.5 molar NaCl). The aim of this study is to standarize the blanching temperature with salt concentration which gives better texture and sensory properties in pickle. Considering the high loss in meat the blanching temperature of 110oC and 120 oC is concluded to be unsuitable for pangas strips. Plants have served human beings as a natural source for treatments and therapies from ancient times, amongst them medicinal herbs have gain attention because of its wide use and less side effects. In the recent years plant research has increased throughout the world and a huge amount of evidences have been collected to show immense potential of medicinal plants used in various traditional systems. Hordeum vulgare Linn seeds (H. vulgare, Commonly known as barley, Family: Poaceae), is an erect annual herb, 50 to 100 cm high, cultivated in the plains as well as in the hilly region of Himalaya, up to an altitude of 4000 m, in Indo- Gangetic area and Madhya Pradesh. It is locally called Jav and its seed used by traditional medical practitioners in the treatment of many diseases including liver diseases. Seeds are useful in vitiated conditions of kapha and pitta, asthma, fever, bronchiotitis, urocystitis, urethritis, gastric disorders, ulcers and anemia etc. The objective of this study was to investigate pharmacognostical, phytochemical features and antioxidant activity of hydroalcoholic extracts of H. vulgare seed by using DPPH assay method. These studies provided information for correct identification of this plant material. The diverse array of phytochemicals present in the plant thus suggests its therapeutic potentials which may be explored in drug manufacturing industry as well as in traditional medicine.

Introduction- A wide range of pulmonary illnesses with a signicant clinical prevalence includes infectious lung disease. Numerous studies have examined the clinical value of lung ultrasonography (LUS) in the treatment of patients who present with dyspnea due to an infectious lung illness in the last ten years. We present data on the methodical and standardised use of bedside LUS in the differential diagnosis of patients with acute dyspnea due to infective pulmonary diseases. We conducted a cross-sectional s Materials and Methods- tudy on 120 patients with infectious lung illnesses (mean age, 54.2± 11.5 years; range, 25-85 years; 40 women, 80 men). All individuals underwent a chest X-ray and bedside LUS using a convex probe. A clinically necessary chest CT was done on a subgroup of individuals. By Results- comparing the percentage of pleural effusion and pulmonary consolidation determined by LUS to X-ray, we found a statistically signicant difference (54 vs. 20.8%, respectively, p 0.05; 90 vs. 46.6%, p 0.001). 38.3% of the LUS-detected consolidations had air bronchograms, which were mixed, hypo, and hyperechoic lesions. When conducted, chest CT veried every nding determined by LUS. LUS is a helpful suppl Conclusion- emental technique when used in conjunction with clinical, laboratory, and radiographic workup, as specied by clinical guidelines. When there are chest X-ray visible opacities or when clinical suspicion is high and radiological results are negative, the approach is very helpful in differentiating between pleural effusion and lung consolidation.

Bacterial infections are a common and deadly threat to vulnerable patients. Alternative strategies to fight infection are needed. β-Glucan, an immunomodulator derived from the fungal cell wall, provokes resistance to infection by inducing trained immunity, a phenomenon that persists for weeks to months. Given the durability of trained immunity, it is unclear which leukocyte populations sustain this effect. Macrophages have a life span that surpasses the duration of trained immunity. Thus, we sought to define the contribution of differentiated macrophages to trained immunity. Our results show that β-glucan protects mice from Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection by augmenting recruitment of innate leukocytes to the site of infection and facilitating local clearance of bacteria, an effect that persists for more than 7 d. Adoptive transfer of macrophages, trained using β-glucan, into naive mice conferred a comparable level of protection. Trained mouse bone marrow–derived macrophages assumed an antimicrobial phenotype characterized by enhanced phagocytosis and reactive oxygen species production in parallel with sustained enhancements in glycolytic and oxidative metabolism, increased mitochondrial mass, and membrane potential. β-Glucan induced broad transcriptomic changes in macrophages consistent with early activation of the inflammatory response, followed by sustained alterations in transcripts associated with metabolism, cellular differentiation, and antimicrobial function. Trained macrophages constitutively secreted CCL chemokines and robustly produced proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines in response to LPS challenge. Induction of the trained phenotype was independent of the classic β-glucan receptors Dectin-1 and TLR-2. These findings provide evidence that β-glucan induces enhanced protection from infection by driving trained immunity in macrophages.

Objectives: Nosocomial pneumonia is a common complication in critically ill patients. The goal of this study was to examine the efficacy of the Toll-like receptor 4 agonist 3-deacyl phosphorylated hexacyl disaccharide (3D PHAD), in a clinically relevant murine model of pneumonia, and assess the cellular mechanisms that mediate the protective response. Design: Mice received intrapulmonary 3D PHAD (20 μg) or vehicle for 2 consecutive days before challenge with intrapulmonary Klebsiella pneumoniae (2.3 × 10 3 colony-forming units). Mice were followed for 14-day survival, pulmonary K. pneumoniae burden, lung leukocyte profile, leukocyte phagocytic capacity, and cytokine production. Pneumonia severity and leukocyte recruitment were further assessed by histological evaluation. Setting: Research laboratory. Subjects: Wild-type, male C57BL/6 J mice. Interventions: Intrapulmonary treatment with 20 μg 3D PHAD for 2 consecutive days. Measurements and main results: Intrapulmonary treatment with 3D PHAD decreased lung K. pneumoniae colony-forming units and pneumonia severity with an associated improvement in survival compared with mice treated with vehicle. The numbers of neutrophils, monocytes, and macrophages in the lungs of 3D PHAD-treated mice were higher than those in vehicle-treated mice before infection but were not significantly different from vehicle-treated mice at 48 h after K. pneumoniae challenge. Lung innate leukocytes from 3D PHAD-treated mice had increased phagocytic capacity. Treatment with 3D PHAD alone increased cytokines in the lungs but decreased cytokines in plasma during K. pneumoniae pneumonia as compared with control. Conclusions: Intrapulmonary treatment with 3D PHAD augments innate immunity in the lung and facilitates resistance to K. pneumoniae pneumonia.

The analytical model attempts to define the relationship between AI and its implementation in the insurance industry. Rigorous research to test the definition was carried out through a sample of international corporations and insurance firms. This work presents various practical findings that insurance companies consider quite useful when responding to dissatisfied customers and certain organizational concerns. This paper aims to identify the challenges and enablers that have evolved in the context of artificial intelligence adoption, specifically in the finance sector, and to analyze the impact of this disruptive technology on the organization’s financial performance and market capitalization. The findings indicate that, in addition to the various risks and challenges associated with artificial intelligence adoption, it is critical for all financial institutes or companies involved in financial tasks to adopt artificial intelligence to compete globally.
