Current work is carried out in Generalized Arithmetic Graphs to explore the theory of conquest by the Annihilator Dominion Number of Upper bound. Kulli and Janakiram [8] first demonstrated split domination while Suryanarayana Rao and Vangipuram [12] introduced the domination of Annihilator and obtained several interesting results in Arithmetic graphs. There are few significant and important studies on Annihilator’s domination being examined in the current paper.

In this paper, we have presented a numerical solution to the MHD heat and mass transfer flow of a nanofluid through porous media over a vertical cone with heat generation/absorption and chemical reaction. Though we have different varieties of nanofluids, we have considered Al 2 O 3 -water and Ag-water based nanofluids (with volume fraction 1% and 4%) in this problem. The transformed conservation equations for the nanofluid are solved numerically subject to the boundary conditions using finite element method. The numerical code is validated with previous studies. The influence of important non-dimensional parameters, namely nanoparticles volume fraction (φ), Prandtl number (Pr), magnetic (M), mixed convection (Ra), buoyancy ratio (Nr), space-dependent (A), temperature-dependent (B) and chemical reaction (Cr) parameters on velocity, temperature and nanoparticle concentration fields as well as the skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are examined in detail and the results are shown in graphically and in tabular form.

The paper concentrates on the theory of domination in graphs. The split domination in graphs was introduced by Kulli and Janakirm. In this paper; we have investigated some properties of the split domination nu mber of some product graphs and obtained several interesting results. In this paper, we have considered the unsteady magnetohydrodynamic squeezing axi-symmetric flow of water-nanofluid through saturated porous medium between two parallel disks. The equations for the governing flow are solved by Galerkin optimal Homotopy asymptotic method. The effects of non-dimensional parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration have been discussed with the help of graphs. Also we obtained local Nusselt number and computationally discussed with reference to flow parameters.

The influence of various parameters on oxygen stripping for a two stage spray and tray type de-aerator is analyzed experimentally. It is observed that increasing the mass flow rate of water leads to an increase in heat and mass transfer coefficients in both stages. There is no significant influence of de-aerator pressure and length of the second stage on the heat transfer coefficients in the range tested. The increase in de-aerator pressure enhances the mass transfer coefficient by 14 percent, whereas the increase in length of the second stage has no significant influence. The empirical correlations available in the literature predict the mass transfer coefficients satisfactorily in the experimental range tested. The total length of the de-aerator is a significant parameter influencing the quantity of oxygen removed from the feed water.

Deaerator is used to remove oxygen from boiler feed-water. Experiments with deaerator indicate that the droplet diameter decreases with increasing the mass flow rate of water and the increasing deaerator pressure leads to increase in heat and mass transfer coefficients. The mass transfer coefficients are found to increase with increasing the deaerator pressure, the independent of length and the oxygen concentration in inlet water.

Joint Pattern and Dyke Trends in Tirupati Area, Andhra Pradesh, India

A number of late Proterozoic detached basins containing (sub-) greenschist facies sediments overlie the Archaean rocks of the Bhandara Craton. The craton is abutted to the east by the Eastern Ghats Mobile Belt, which is recognised as an accreted terrain with high-grade metamorphic rocks. The study area was covered with stream sediment sampling, airborne hyper-spectral (AHS), airborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys as part of an integrated exploration programme by De Beers India. Though airborne geophysical data over the Umerkote block produced excellent anomalies with good magnetic dipoles, it was not an effective exploration tool because of the complex geological background, in contrast to the AHS survey. A number of linear positive magnetic features were associated with dolerite dykes in the study area. The multi-disciplinary studies carried out in the area resulted in the discovery of lamproitic bodies. Petrographic and whole rock geochemical analyses were carried out for some of the lamproites which were shown to have magmatic textures and which are extremely altered. In this paper, the data pertaining to the rainfall, its departure from normal, moving mean rainfall, depth of water levels in pre-monsoon and post-monsoon seasons, groundwater availability, groundwater utilization and impact of storage of water in large water bodies are analyzed graphically. The results indicate that the groundwater is over exploited in many places in Anantapur District (India). The groundwater levels found fluctuating, when compared the observations in pre-monsoon and post-monsoon seasons. Hence, it is concluded that the construction of water harvesting structures at suitable locations will have a definite impact on the groundwater potential in Anantapur District.

Glomus Jugulare tumours are relatively rare. In the early stages the symptoms may simulate other otological conditions such as acute otitis media. We report a case of a 34 year old male with Glomus Jugulare, where the diagnosis was initially missed and later made on development of classical symptoms. The management of this case and a brief review of literature is presented. The aim is to highlight the importance of early diagnosis and successful outcome following surgery.

The megascopically isotropic granites of Tirupati have several sets of joints of which the two joint sets of N 64° W and N 70° E trends have a prominent development. Their axis of intersection is vertical. The angle between the two is 46°. The E-W direction bisects this dihedralangle, and it is, therefore, interpreted that the compressive force has acted in the E-W direction. Petrofabric analysis of the granites reveals the presence of another set of conjugate shear, statistical in nature, making a dihedral angle of 60°, and with the axis of intersection horizontal oriented in a N-S direction. This dihedral angle is bisected by the same E-W directed compressive force. Conclusion is drawn that both the megascopic conjugate shear intersecting in a vertical axis and the potential shear joints intersecting in a horizontal axis are developed by a compressive force acting in the E-W direction.

Calcic anorthosite with plagioclase of 95 to 100% anorthite content has been discovered by the authors in the Nuggehalli schist belt of Karnataka State, India. It occurs near Jambur as a massive body, boulder in nature, admist talc-chlorite-actinolite-serpentine schist. Zoning exhibited by the plagioclase and the C-Twins are characteristic of their formation in a magmatic environment. Albite rims surrounding Anrich plagioclase indicate depositional zoning, and not the normal zoning as commonly visualised. The early formed plagioclase contained much less soda and, hence, there was a continuous storing up of the soda molecule in the residual liquid which later got precipitated as veins sweeping along grain boundaries and as rims around An-rich plagioclase to form depositional zoning. Sections of calcic anorthosite with plagioclase of all An percentage were encountered. They present evidences of differentiation within highly localised zones, as narrow as the size of a thin section. It is suggested here that the calcic anorthosite originated as a result of differentiation, that is, by the segregation of anorthite plagioclase from a gabbroic magma and that it came up along the central part of the rift as a post-tectonic intrusive body.

The occurrence of albitite has been noticed in contact between serpentinite and granite in the Nuggehalli schist belt. The platy parallelism and the linear structure characterising this rock were observed in the orienteda, b andc sections. The fabric of the rock is, the elongation of grains parallel tob, flattening of the grains in theab plane, and the development ofokl shear planes obtained from the quartz axes diagram. It is interpreted that the formation of albitite is due to soda metasomatism of an hornblendic rock by emanations from ultrabasic serpentinite. TheB-tectonite fabric of the rock is a result of pretectonic crystallisation (postcrystalline deformation).

Balanced weighing designs have been investigated by Bose and Cameron [2], [3]. This is a part of the work on the extensions of balanced weighing designs to a situation of "partial balance" based on association schemes [1]. Here some methods are developed to construct these new designs (called partially balanced weighing designs) with two association classes.

Publisher Summary An important factor in the evaluation of system performance is the overhead incurred by the system in performing its various functions. In the case of a time-sharing computer system, the overhead is measured in terms of CPU time consumed by the operating system. This chapter discusses the relation between the total observed overhead to the various specific functions performed by CP-67 system. The chapter presents a study in which it was observed that if the data available were broken up into several subsets, and if the regression model was applied to each subset, then the estimates of overhead per event of each type varied from one subset to the other far more drastically than expectations based on the standard regression model.
