Bu çalışmada hareketli kütle etkisi altındaki kiriş ve plakların doğrusal olmayan (nonlineer) titreşimleri analitik ve sayısal olarak incelenmiştir. Hareketli kütle etkisi altındaki Euler Bernoulli, fonksiyonel derecelendirilmiş ve viskoelastik kiriş modelleri ile Kirchhoff, fonsiyonel derecelendirilmiş ve viskoelastik plak modelleri ele alınmıştır. Kiriş ve plak yapıların hareketini temsil eden diferansiyel denklemler (Hareket denklemleri) Lagrange yöntemi ile bulunmuştur. Galerkin ve Çok Zaman Ölçekli Perturbasyon yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan analitik çözümler ile Sonlu Elemanlar ve Türevsel Kareleştirme yöntemleri kullanılarak yapılan sayısal çözümler karşılaştırılmıştır. Analitik ve sayısal çözümlerin uyumlu sonuçlar verdiği gösterilmiştir. In this study, nonlinear vibrations of beam and plate structures under moving mass effect are investigated by using analytical and numerical methods. Euler Bernoulli, functionally graded and viscoelastic beam models and Kirchoff, functionally graded and viscoelastic plate models are investigated. Equations of motion for the beam and plate structures are obtained by Lagrange Method. Analytical solutions are found by Galerkin Method and the Method of Multiple Scales (a Perturbation Method). Numerical solutions are obtained by Finite Element Method and Differential Quadrature method. It is shown that the results of analytical and numerical methods give high convergence. 161

In this paper, we establish some coupled fixed point theorems for α-Geraghty type contractive mappings in the context of partially ordered metric spaces. Applying these results, we deduce fixed point results on metric spaces endowed with graph. Also, the effectiveness of our work is validated with the help of a suitable example.

Bu tezde, Banach sabit nokta teoreminin, Kannan sabit nokta teoreminin ve Chatterjea sabit nokta teoreminin bazı yeni genelleştirilmiş şekilleri metrik uzaylarda, kısmi sıralı metrik uzaylarda ve kısmi metrik uzaylarda ifade ve ispat edilmiştir. Ayrıca, kısmi sıralı bir kümede çifte sabit nokta (coupled fixed point) ve çifte çakışma noktası (coupled coincidence point) kavramları üzerine bazı genelleştirilmiş sabit nokta teoremleri ifade ve ispat edilmiştir. In this thesis, some new generalizations of Banach fixed point theorem, Kannan fixed point theorem and Chatterjea fixed point theorem are introduced in metric spaces, partially ordered metric spaces and partial metric spaces. WOS: 000274072200013 A submerged biofilter (SBF) with 0.1 m(3) of filter medium was maintained without backwash at four different water temperatures (14 degrees C, 18 degrees C, 22 degrees C and 26 degrees C) in four different recirculating systems stocked with green tiger shrimp (Penacus semisulcatus). The ammonia removal profile and nitrification performance of the SBF was evaluated at feed loading rates of 2.65 g day(-1) at 14 degrees C, 5.52 g day(-1) at 18 degrees C, 7.91 g day(-1) at 22 degrees C and 10.94 g day(-1) at 26 degrees C In all of the experimental systems, the ammonia removal rate per unit volume of filter medium (the volumetric total ammonia nitrogen conversion rate, VTR) increased at the start of the experiment, reached and maintained a maximum value for a period of time, then decreased sharply. Statistical analysis revealed significant relationships among water temperature, total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) and the VTR. Temperature was not more important than TAN when comparing their effects on the VTR of the SBF.

WOS: 000257550100010 Critical thermal minima (CTmin) and lower incipient lethal temperature (LILT) were determined for Penaeus semisulcatus juveniles at combinations of four acclimation temperatures (18, 22, 26 and 30 degrees C) and four salinity levels (20, 25, 30 and 35 ppt). While the CTmin and LILT of shrimps were not affected significantly by salinity (P > 0.05), a direct relationship was determined between the thermal minima values (CTmin, LILT) and the acclimation temperature (P < 0.05). The acclimation response ratio for the juveniles of P. semisulcatus had an interval of 0.18-0.32 in the current study.

Bu çalışmada, üç farklı büyüklükte (1, 5 ve 10 g) gökkuşağı alabalığı (Oncorhynchus mykiss) yavrularının, 13°C su sıcaklığında ve pH 7.0 seviyesinde, amonyak LC50 değerleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca balık büyüklüğü ile türün 24, 48, 72 ve 96 saatlik amonyak LC50 değerleri arasındaki ilişki belirlenmiştir. Toplam Amonyak Nitrojeni (TAN) için 96 saatlik LC50 değerleri 1, 5 ve 10 g balık yavrularında, sırasıyla 10.57 mg/L, 3.39 mg/L ve 2.50 mg/L olarak tespit edilmiştir. Her ağırlık grubu için, güvenli üst TAN seviyesi sırasıyla 1.05 mg/L, 0.33 mg/L ve 0.25 mg/L olarak hesaplanmıştır. ÖZET KAPALI DEVRE SİSTEMLERİNDE BİYOLOJİK FİLTRELERİN SU KALİTESİ ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ Bu çalışmada, kapalı devre üretim sistemlerindeki biyolojik filtrenin ve ultraviyole radyasyonun su kalitesi üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, öncelikle biyolojik filtrenin aktivasyonu kontrol edilmiştir. Bu amaçla, sıvı kültür ortamına filtre içerisinden alınan suyun bakteriyolojik ekimi yapılarak 28-30 °C de karanlıkta inkübe edilmiştir. Bakteriolojik ekim yapıldıktan 3-4 hafta sonra, sıvı kültür ortamı içerisinde nitrifiye bakterilerinin üremeleri sonucu, ortam renginin kırmızıdan açık kırmızıya dönüştüğü görülmüştür. Biyolojik filtrenin su kalitesi üzerindeki etkisini tespit etmek amacıyla, kapalı devre sistemin üç farklı noktası olan; üretim tankı çıkışı, taze su girişi ve üretim tankı girişinden yedi gün süreyle su örnekleri alınmıştır. Su örneklerinde, rutin olarak toplam amonyak nitrojeni (TAN), nitrit nitrojeni, nitrat nitrojeni, su sıcaklığı, pH ve çözünmüş oksijen konsantrasyonunun ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Toplam amonyak nitrojeninin (TAN) ortalama konsantrasyonları; yukarda bahsedilen, su örneklerinin alındığı noktalarda sırasıyla 0,71 mg/L, 0,41 mg/L ve 0,27 mg/L olarak ölçülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, biyolojik filtrenin toplam amonyak nitrojeninin (TAN) %34,1'ini uzaklaştırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Ultraviyole radyasyonun su kalitesi üzerindeki etkisini tespit etmek amacıyla, Eosin Methylen Blue (EMB) ve Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) katı kültür ortamlarına, kapalı devre sistemin üç farklı noktası olan; üretim tankı çıkışı, taze su girişi ve UV lamba çıkışından alman su örnekleri ile bakteriyolojik ekim yapılmıştır. Katı kültür ortamları 28-30 °C'de karanlıkta inkübe edilmiştir. EMB ortamları üzerinde üreme olmazken, TSA kültür ortamları üzerinde, bakteriyolojik ekimden 16-24 saat sonra bakteri kolonilerinin üremeye başladığı görülmüştür. TSA kültür ortamları üzerinde üreyen bakteri kolonileri; yukarıda bahsedilen, su örneklerinin alındığı noktalarda sırasıyla 102±3, 205±4 ve 30±1 adet olarak sayılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, UV lambasının bakteri kolonisinin % 85.3 'ünü öldürdüğü tespit edilmiştir. VIII ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF THE BIOLOGICAL FILTERS ON THE WATER QUALITY IN THE CLOSED RECIRCULATING SYSTEMS In this study, the effects on water quality of the biological filter and the ultraviolet irradiation which are in the closed recirculating production systems have been studied. In the study, first of all, the activation of the biological filter was controlled. For this reason, the liquid medium was inoculated with water samples taken from the inside of the biological filter and incubated at the 28-30 C° in the dark. 3-4 weeks after the inoculation, it was observed that the color of the liquid medium ranged from red to fairly red, as a result of the grow of the nitrifiers in the liquid medium. To determine the effect of the biological filter on the water quality, the water samples were collected for seven days from the outflow of the culture tank, inflow of the make up water and inflow of the culture tank which were three different stations of the recirculating system. On the water samples, total amonia nitrogen (TAN), nitrit nitrogen, nitrat nitrogen, water temperature, pH and disolved oxygen were routinely measured. Mean consantrations of the total amonia nitrogen (TAN) were measured respectively as of 0,71 mg/L, 0,41 mg/L and 0,27 mg/L at the above mentioned stations from which the water samples were collected. As a result, it was determined that the biological filter removed 34,1 % of the total amonia nitrogen (TAN) amounts. To determine the effect of the ultraviolet irradiation on the water qualty, Eosine Methylen Blue (EMB) and Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) solid mediums were inoculated with water samples collected from outflow of the culture tank, inflow of the make up water and outflow of the UV lamb which were three differen stations of the recirculating system. The solids mediums were incubated at the 28-30C0 in the dark. While nothing grew on the EMB, it was observed that the bacterial colonies began to grow on the TSA 16-24 hours after from the inoculation. The bacterial colonies on the TSA were counted respectively as of 102±3, 205±4 and 30±1 at the above mentioned stations from which the water samples were collocted. As a result, it was determined that the UV lamb killed to 85,3% of the bacterial colonie numbers. IX 77
