Dzięki którym pacjent będzie w stanie jak najdłużej zachować pełną samodzielność i sprawność ruchową. Bezpośrednią przyczynę choroby stanowi zaburzenie dotyczące prawidłowego funkcjonowania układu pozapiramidowego, co wiąże się z występowaniem charakterystycznych dolegliwości takich jak: zaburzenia funkcjonowania układu ruchu, w tym aparatu mowy oraz układu autonomicznego; nieprawidłowe czucie i zaburzenia psychiczne. Planując proces usprawniania, należy kierować się występowaniem podstawowych objawów takich jak: sztywność mięśniowa, spowolnienie ruchowe oraz drżenie. Jednym z efektów współwystępowania w/w objawów są zaburzenia mowy. Istnieje szereg cech charakterystycznych dla zaburzeń mowy osoby z chorobą Parkinsona i dotyczą głównie jej jakości. Dysfunkcje te wpływają negatywnie na komunikację pacjenta z otoczeniem. Właściwie wdrożona aktywność fizyczna przynosi korzystne rezultaty, powodując opóźnienie narastania symptomów chorobowych. Summary Parkinson's disease in spite of being nowadays considered as an inauspicious health prognosis because of its incurable nature, can be combated by the use of a number of non-pharmacological methods. With their help a patient will be able to retain full independence and mobility as long as possible. The immediate cause of the disease is a disorder of the proper functioning of the extrapyramidal system, which is associated with the occurrence of characteristic symptoms such as dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system and the autonomic nervous system, abnormal sensation and mental disorders. Planning of the improvement is guided by the presence of the primary symptoms such as muscle rigidity, slowness of movement and tremor. One of the effects of the co-occurrence of these symptoms are speech disorders. There is a number of characteristic features for speech disorders of a person with Parkinson's disease and they mainly concern its quality. These dysfunctions negatively affect the patient's communication with the environment. Properly implemented physical activity brings beneficial results, causing a delay in the buildup of disease symptoms. Towarzyszą temu uszkodzenia tkanek miękkich, które w zależności od powagi dzieli się na skręcenia I, II i III stopnia. Najczęściej do takiej kontuzji dochodzi w mechanizmie inwersji, co prowadzi do uszkodzenia więzadeł strony bocznej W fazie ostrej po urazie, głównym celem rehabilitacji jest ograniczenie dolegliwości bólowych oraz powstającego obrzęku i krwiaka, a także ochrona przed uszkodzeniami wtórnymi. W fazie podostrej należy skupić się na przywracaniu funkcji stawu, zakresów ruchów i delikatnym jego obciążaniu. Wprowadzany jest trening propriocepcji, ćwiczenia siłowe i rozciągające. Kolejny etap, podczas którego dochodzi do przebudowy uszkodzonych tkanek, charakteryzuje się wdrażaniem stopniowo zwiększanych obciążeń i różnorodności wprowadzonych wcześniej metod postępowania. W końcowej fazie rehabilitacji należy upewnić się, że pacjent jest gotowy do pełnego powrotu do aktywności, co dotyczy szczególnie sportowców. Pomóc w tym mogą testy funkcjonalne takie jak na przykład „The DorsiflexionLunge Test” czy „The Star ExcursionBalance Test”. Głównym czynnikiem predysponującym do wystąpienia skręcenia stawu skokowego jest przebyty taki uraz w przeszłości. Ma to związek z faktem, że taka kontuzja prowadzi do uszkodzenia funkcji proprioceptywnej i zaburzeń kontroli postawy. Nieprawidłowo przeprowadzona rehabilitacja lub jej brak mogą prowadzić do rozwoju przewlekłej niestabilności stawu skokowego, która znacznie pogarsza możliwość aktywności fizycznej i komfort życia pacjenta. Konieczne wydaje się więc wprowadzenie odpowiednich metod zapobiegawczych, opierających się o stosowanie zewnętrznych stabilizatorów i trening nerwowo-mięśniowy. Celem tego jest przywrócenie prawidłowego czucia głębokiego jak i czasu reakcji mięśni w obrębie stawu skokowego. Abstract Due to complicated structure of ankle, it is exceptionally susceptible to injuries, of which one of the most common is a sprain. The sprain involves soft-tissue injuries that, depending on their level of seriousness, are categorized as first-, second- or third-degree sprains. The main goals of rehabilitation in the acute phase after the injury include reduction of pain, swelling and hematoma, as well as prevention from secondary injuries. During the subacute phase the emphasis should be put on restoring the joint’s function and its range of motion, as well as on gentle loading of the joint. Proprioception training, strength and stretching exercises should also be introduced. The next stage, during which the reconstruction of the damaged tissues takes place, involves the implementation of gradual progressive loading and the variety of earlier introduced procedures. In the final phase of rehabilitation, it is vital to reassure that the patient is able to return to full activity, especially if he or she is an athlete. Therefore, functional testing such as the Dorsiflexion Lunge Test or The Star Excursion Balance Test may be of help. The main predisposing factor for an ankle sprain is a previous injury of the same type. It is due to the fact that such an injury leads to impaired proprioceptive function and impaired postural control. Improper rehabilitation or the lack of thereof may cause the development of chronic ankle instability, which substantially reduces the chances of physical activity and the patient’s quality of life. The implementation of adequate preventive measures based on employing external stabilisers and neuromuscular training appears to be essential. The objective is to regain a good sense of proprioception as well as muscle reaction time within the ankle joint.

Należy w tym celu przeprowadzić dokładne badanie podmiotowe, czyli szczegółowy wywiad z pacjentem, a następnie badanie przedmiotowe. Jego elementami są obserwacja i palpacja, testy funkcjonalne oraz badania dodatkowe. Działanie takie pozwala nabrać pewności na temat tego, które struktury i w jakim stopniu zostały uszkodzone.Uraz skrętny stawu skokowego może wiązać się nie tylko z uszkodzeniem więzadeł czy torebki stawowej, ale również powstawanie ukrytych problemów. W przypadku przeoczenia, mogą znacznie przedłużyć proces powrotu do zdrowia. Abstract Making the right diagnosis after spraining an ankle is a key element that allows to plan and implement appropriate treatment. A medical history which is a detailed interview with a patient and then physical examination should be undertaken. The components of the latter are observation and palpation, functional tests and additional examinations. Such a proceeding enables ensuring which structures and to which extend got damaged. The torsion injury of the ankle may be associated with not only the damage of the joint capsule or ligaments, but also the formation of hidden problems. Those, when overlooked, may substantially extend the process of recovery.

W pracy zostały przedstawione odchylenia od normy w poszczególnych pod fazach cyklu chodu oraz zaprezentowane najważniejsze metody reedukacji chodu. Udar mózgu stanowi jedną z najczęstszych chorób neurologicznych i powoduje wiele zaburzeń związanych z fizjologicznym chodem. Chód pacjentów po przebytym udarze mózgu objawia się brakiem symetrii podczas poszczególnych faz cyklu chodu, nierównym obciążeniem kończyn oraz zaburzoną długością kroku. Reedukacji chodu ma na celu przywrócenie fizjologicznych wzorców chodu, zbudowanie prawidłowego napięcia mięśniowego w kończynie niedowładnej, poprawę równowagi oraz przywrócenie funkcji samodzielnego i bezpiecznego poruszania się. Abstract The aim of the work is to draw attention to the desirability of re-educating gait in patients after stroke of the brain. At work were presented to the deviation in each subphases power cycle and presented the most important method of re-educating gait. Stroke is one of the most common neurological diseases and causes many physiological disorders related to your vehicle. Gait of patients after stroke of the brain revealed by the lack of symmetry while the individual phases of the gait cycle, the uneven load of limbs and impaired the length of the step. Gait re-education is designed to restore the physiological gait patterns, to build proper muscle tone in the affected paretic limb, improving balance and restore the functions of independent and safe move.

When there are no contraindications, regular exercise of gymnastics has a positive effect on the overall physical fitness, well-being of the woman. In addition it reduces the symptoms of typical pregnancy. Material and methods: The study involved pregnant women who were in the second or third trimester during the study. The study group consisted of 45 healthy pregnant women (n=45). During the research, range of motion and the shape of the curvature of the lumbar spine using the CMS10 Zebris device was performed. Additionally, the author’s questionnaire was also used, which allowed to gather important information about the practiced physical activity in the pregnancy of the surveyed women and check the knowledge about physical activity during pregnancy. The questionnaire was also used to gather basic information such as age, weight, height or education. Results: In the examined group of pregnant women the mean flexion of the lumbar spine to the front was 54.5⁰, to the back 16⁰, to the left 23⁰ and to the right 24.5⁰. The average spine turn to the left is 16.5⁰ and to the right 15.5⁰. 100% of the surveyed women, responded that physical activity during pregnancy is recommended, 82.22% of them are active during pregnancy. The most common physical activities are walking, next is swimming and special exercises for pregnant women and yoga. The fewest group were the women exercising Pilates. 31.11% of women exercise three times a week, 37.78% - twice a week, 22.22% - one a week and 6.67% less than one a week. 64.44% of women feel good thanks to practiced physical activity, 31.11% of women say that exercises improve their wellbeing. Conclusions: Regular physical activity has a positive impact on the wellbeing of women which participated in the research. Women’s knowledge about physical activity during pregnancy is quite high although it does not always translate to real world performed exercises. The study did not show the impact of physical activity on the mobility of the lumbar spine, but the study should be continued at a larger study group.

Techników 3, Bydgoszcz e-mail: agnieszka.radziminska@gmail.com Streszczenie Metoda integracji sensorycznej (SI – Sensory Integration) jest uważana na całym świecie jako jedna z nowatorskich koncepcji pracy z dziećmi z zaburzeniami zachowania i emocji. Jest to metoda, w której wykorzystuje się różnorodne działania wspomagające rozwój dziecka. Dysfunkcje integracji sensorycznej dotyczą nieprawidłowości w zakresie przetwarzania bodźców sensorycznych w obrębie następujących systemów: czuciowego (dotykowego i proprioceptywnego), przedsionkowego, słuchowego, wzrokowego, węchowego i smakowego. W celu postawienia prawidłowej diagnozy, zaburzenia integracji sensorycznej, należy uwzględnić dane z poszczególnych etapów badania: wywiadu z rodzicami, kwestionariuszy dotyczących funkcjonowania dziecka na co dzień, wyników prób klinicznych, wyników testów kalifornijskich. Wyniki uzyskane na podstawie w/w kwestionariuszy nie pozwalają na samodzielne stawianie diagnozy. Jest to narzędzie wstępnej diagnozy, służące do przeprowadzenia dalszej wnikliwej oceny przez terapeutę metody SI. Wiedza z zakresu integracji sensorycznej powinna być propagowana wśród szerszego grona specjalistów tj.: lekarzy, fizjoterapeutów, logopedów, neurologopedów, psychologów, a także pedagogów oraz nauczycieli. Summary Sensory integration method is regarded worldwide as one of the innovative concept of working with children with behavioral and emotional disorders. It is a method that uses a variety of activities supporting the development of the child. Sensory integration dysfunctions of the irregularities in the processing of sensory stimuli within the following systems: sensory (touch and proprioceptive), vestibular, auditory, visual, olfactory and flavoring. In order to make the correct diagnosis, sensory integration dysfunction, should take into account data from individual phases of the study: interview with parents, questionnaires concerning the functioning of the child on a daily basis, results of clinical trials, the test results of California. The results of these the questionnaires do not allow for self-diagnosing. It is a tool initial diagnosis, used to carry out further careful evaluation by a therapist SI method. Knowledge of sensory integration should be promoted among a wider group of experts: physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists and teachers. Streszczenie: Osobą niepełnosprawną można stać się bardzo łatwy sposób, wystarczy moment – chwila nieuwagi i życie osoby może zmienić się diametralnie. Z osoby cieszącej siępełnią zdrowia, radością życia, można stać się osobom niepełnosprawną, któraniejednokrotnie będzie potrzebować pomocy innych. Może być uzależniona od innych, czywymagać stałej opieki. W powrocie do „normalnego życia” pomocne będą: rehabilitacja, wsparcie społeczne i psychologiczne, a także środki ortopedyczne i pomocnicze, którepozwolą na jak najlepsze, w stosunku do stanu zdrowia, funkcjonowanie osobie niepełnosprawnej w życiu codziennym, społecznym i kulturowym. Pomocne w tym procesie może być właśnie dofinansowanie ze środków: Narodowego Funduszu Zdrowia iPaństwowego Funduszu Rehabilitacji Osób Niepełnosprawnych, z których możemy starać się o dofinansowanie na zakup sprzętów, które ułatwią nam życie, będąc osobą niepełnosprawną. Abstract: A disabled person can become a very easy way, just a moment - a moment of inattention and can change a person's life forever. With people enjoying the fullness of health, joy of life, you become a person with a disability who often will need the help of others. It may be dependent on others or require constant care. In returning to "normal life" will be helpful: rehabilitation, social and psychological support, as well as orthopedic and auxiliary agents that allow for the best, in relation to health, functioning person with a disability in everyday life, society and culture. Helpful in this process can be precisely funding from: National Health Fund and the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, from which we can apply for funding to purchase equipment that will facilitate our lives, being a disabled person.

Introduction of biofuels in place of heating oils and biocomponents of heating oils is fraught with technological and technical difficulties. The final product - microemulsion bioliquid must have in its composition more appropriately selected emulsifiers package designed to maintain a constant characteristic HLB resistant to variation of bioliquid components. Final microemulsion bioliquid should be stable at a wide range of temperature, the certain period of time, and should be produced under conditions easy to apply in industry. The paper presents preliminary results focused on liquid waste from dairy industry using as microemulsion bioliquid component and an economic analysis of microemulsion bioliquids application in supplying of electricity to local grids accordingly to their needs.

Streszczenie Krtań od góry graniczy z gardłem dolnym, a od dołu przechodzi w tchawicę, znajdując się wszyi na wysokości V – Vi kręgu szyjnego spełniając funkcję ochronną dróg oddechowych, oddechową i głosową. Rak krtani jest najczęściej występującym nowotworem złośliwym wobrębie głowy i szyi. Leczenie polega na przeprowadzeniu operacji (laryngektomii) iwspomagającej radioterapii. Zabieg laryngektomii całkowitej usuwa wiele struktur z szyi (mięśnie, tkanki miękkie, nerwy i węzły chłonne). Wpływa to na ruchomość i siłę mięśniową odcinka szyjnego kręgosłupa i głowy oraz obręczy barkowej. Badanie przeprowadzono u 31 osób laryngektomowanych, spotykających się w klubie „Orion” w Bydgoszczy. Średnia wieku wynosiła 66,5. Grupę kontrolną stanowiły osoby zdrowe, bez ograniczeń ruchomości wodcinku szyjnym kręgosłupa i obręczy barkowej. Badanie polegało na pomiarze siły według skali Lovetta w odpowiednich pozycjach oraz pomiarze za pomocą miary krawieckiej ruchomości odcinka szyjnego kręgosłupa i obręczy barkowej za pomocą goniometru. Laryngektomia wpływa niekorzystnie na siłę mięśniową i zakresy ruchomości szczególnie u osób, u których usunięto węzły chłonne w okolicy szyi. Abstract Larynx from top borders the bottleneck, and from the bottom of the passes in the trachea, in the neck at a height of V-Vi cervical vertebra fulfilling a protective function respiratory tract, and voicemail. Laryngeal cancer is the most common malignant tumor in the head and neck. Treatment consists of an operation (laryngectomy) and supportive radiotherapy. Total laryngectomy treatment removes many of the neck structures (muscles, soft tissues, nerves and lymph nodes). This affects mobility and muscle strength of the cervical spine and head and shoulder girdle. The study was conducted on 31 patients had laryngectomies, meeting in the Club "Orion" in Bydgoszcz. The average age amounted to 66.5. The control group were healthy people, without the limitations of movable property in the cervical spine and shoulder girdle. Study on the measurement of the strength of Lovett scale under the appropriate headings and measured with a measuring tape mobility of the cervical spine and shoulder girdle using a goniometer. Laryngectomy adversely affects muscle strength and range of mobility especially in people who have been removed lymph nodes in the neck area.

Streszczenie Nowotwór piersi jest jedną z poważniejszych chorób kobiecych, ze względu na częstość występowania i poważny przebieg. W niniejszej pracy analizowano zaburzenia psychofizyczne występujące u kobiet po mastektomii. Starano się ustalić zależności między występującymi ograniczeniami fizycznymi, bólem, prowadzoną rehabilitacją, terapią psychologiczną a stanem psychicznym chorej. Materiał. Badania przeprowadzono w okresie od marca do maja 2012 roku w Zakładzie Rehabilitacji Centrum Onkologii w Bydgoszczy. Przebadano 34 kobiety w wieku od 33 do 82 lat (średnia wieku 57 lat) po operacyjnym usunięciu nowotworu piersi. Badane kobiety znajdowały się od 2 do 9 miesięcy po zabiegu. U 23 wykonano klasyczną mastektomię a u 11 operację oszczędzającą. Metoda. Wykonane zostały goniometryczne pomiary ruchomości w trzech ruchach kończyny górnej: rotacji zewnętrznej, wznosu przez odwiedzenie oraz wyprostu w płaszczyźnie poprzecznej. Następnie zmierzono obwody w kończynach górnych: 10 cm powyżej i poniżej nadkłykcia kości ramiennej oraz śródręcza. Ostatnia część badania polegała na pomiarze stopnia akceptacji choroby za pomocą skali AIS oraz przystosowania psychicznego do choroby nowotworowej Mini – Mac. Przeprowadzono testy istotności statystycznej poszczególnych parametrów z karty obserwacji klinicznej i z ankiet standaryzowanych. Testem U Manna – Whitneya dla dwóch przypadków niezależnych oraz testem Wilcoxona dla parametrów powiązanych. Utworzono również porównanie otrzymanych wyników metodą korelacji rang Spearmana. Rezultaty: Stwierdzono zależność statystyczną między amputacją piersi a ograniczeniami ruchomości w stawie ramiennym. Wykazano także, że obrzęk kończyny górnej wpływa na ograniczenie ruchomości w stawie ramiennym. Stwierdzono, że u kobiet uczestniczących w psychoterapii wzrasta poziom akceptacji choroby oraz przewaga cech konstruktywnego stylu radzenia sobie z chorobą nowotworową. Udowodniono również, że wraz ze wzrostem bólu spada poziom akceptacji choroby, oraz że u kobiet u których dominuje styl konstruktywnego radzenia sobie z chorobą nowotworową rośnie poziom akceptacji choroby. Summary Breast cancer is one of the most serious diseases of women, because of the prevalence and serious. In this paper we analyzed the psychological and physical disorders in women after mastectomy. Efforts to establish the relationship between common physical limitations, pain, led rehabilitation, psychological therapy and a state of mental a patient Material. The study was conducted from March to May 2012 in the Department of Rehabilitation Oncology Centre in Bydgoszcz. We studied 34 women aged from 33 to 82 years (mean age 57 years) after surgical removal of breast cancer. Method.: Mobility measurements were made at three positions, motion of the upper limb: external rotation, elation by visiting and extension in the transverse plane. The last part of the study consisted of measuring the degree of illness acceptance by AIS scale and mental adjustment to cancer Mini - Mac. Tests of statistical significance of individual parameters of the case report form and standardized questionnaires. U Mann - Whitney test for two independent cases, and the Wilcoxon test for related parameters. Lastly, a comparison of the results obtained using the Spearman rank correlation. Results. Significant correlation was found between the mastectomy and the limits of motion in the shoulder joint. It also showed that the swelling of the arm affects the limitation of movement in the shoulder joint. It was found that women participating in psychotherapy increases the level of acceptance of the disease and lead constructive features of the style of coping with cancer. It was also found that the higher the levels of pain, illness acceptance, and that in women whose predominant style of constructive coping with cancer is growing acceptance of the disease. Streszczenie Skolioza idiopatyczna definiowana jest jako boczne skrzywienia kręgosłupa, którego kąt skrzywienia wyliczony metodą Cobba przekracza 10 stopni, dotyczy one około 2-3% populacji dzieci i młodzieży. Celem badań było uzyskanie odpowiedzi, czy i w jaki sposób aktywność fizyczna, i badane wskaźniki masy ciała wpływają na skrzywienie kręgosłupa. Badaniem objęto 42 dziewcząt i 12 chłopców w wieku od 9 do 18 lat ze stwierdzonym skrzywieniem kręgosłupa. Wśród osób objętych badaniem znajdowało się 20 osób uprawiających sport oraz 34 osoby nie uprawiające żadnej dyscypliny. Przeprowadzono badanie przedmiotowe, pomiar rotacji w kręgosłupie, zdjęcie RTG. Osoby badane zostały poddane dwóm testom oceniającym przykurcze mięśniowe oraz pomiarowi wzrostu i wskaźników masy ciała. Wskaźnik masy ciała (BMI) nie wpływa na skrzywienie kręgosłupa. Procentowa zawartość tkanki tłuszczowej i mięśniowej wpływają na rotację kręgosłupa w skoliozach. Aktywność fizyczna nie wpływa na kąt skrzywienia kręgosłupa. Dyscypliny charakteryzujące się dużą ilością ruchów skrętnych wpływają na zwiększenie rotacji w skoliozach. Stopień skrzywienia kręgosłupa wg Cobba wykazuje korelację z rotacją kręgów. Abstract Idiopathic scoliosis is defined as a lateral curvature of the spine, which angle of the curvature calculated by Cobb method is bigger than 10 degrees, it concerns about 2-3% of children and youth population. The aim of testing was to find an answer whether and what mode a physical activity and a body, fat and muscular mass index have an influence for the curvature of the spine. 42 girls and 12 boys with an ascertained curvature of the spine were examined. Among them there were 20 person practicing sport and 34 not engaged in any kind of sport activity. The subject tests, a measurements of a rotation in a backbones and RTG pictures were used in order to evaluate the attitude. The examined persons were put to the two tests evaluating the muscles contracture as well as the height measurements and body mass indicators. The body mass index has no influence for the backbone curvature. Fatty tissue percentage and muscular tissue act for the backbone rotation in scoliosis. A physical activity has no influence for the backbone curvature angle. Disciplines with big quantity of torsional movements increase backbone rotation in scoliosis. The backbone rotation degree according Cobb shows a correlation with the vertebras rotations. Walery Zukow
