Abstract

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) menyediakan fasilitas bagi mahasiswa untuk mengalihkan kredit dari aktivitas kerja ke mata kuliah tertentu. Untuk mendukung proses ini, penelitian ini menggunakan teknologi Semantik Web dengan mengintegrasikan ontologi yang dibangun menggunakan alat Protégé. Melalui penggunaan bahasa query SPARQL, teknologi Semantik Web memungkinkan pencarian yang efisien dan akurat antara deskripsi aktivitas dan mata kuliah berdasarkan konteks dan arti semantik data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penelitian ini dapat mengambil informasi yang diperlukan secara efisien dan akurat dari ontologi yang telah dikembangkan.

Abstract

Using digital signature in a document, especially in work from home situation, becomes crucial to misuse. The digital signature is a schema to identify somebody uniquely and to prove the originality of a document. The development of information technology allows digital signatures as a tool to ensure the originality of information. The aim of the study is to develop an application that uses Quick Response (QR) Code as a digital signature. So QR Code can work as a tool to authenticate the leader’s signature or document verification. After the application was built and applied, users’ evaluation was performed through questionnaires. The result shows that 44% of users state that the application has been well used and beneficial. There are some suggestions for application revision from 34% of users, whereas 22% have no comment.

IFX and GLM-IV patients were matched 1:1 on index medication treatment duration, gender, payer type, prior biologic use, and post-index methotrexate use. Paid amounts for drugs and associated administration costs were applied to treatment group dosing patterns.Results: Final matched treatment groups included 547 GLM-IV and 547 IFX patients (mean age = 55–56 years). Mean (SD) follow-up was 609 (161) days for GLM-IV and 613 (163) days for IFX. Treatment duration was 396 (240) days for GLM-IV and 397 (239) days for IFX. Abstract

The aim of the article is to study the problems of accounting in the context of the implementation of production sharing agreements (PSAs) concerning development of proposals for their solution. Therefore, the main tasks considered are the assessment of the legal framework for regulation of accounting in the context of the implementation of production sharing agreements in accordance with the current legislation, a critical analysis of the unsettled provisions of the current legislation acts for the practical need, to generate information on specific accounting objects for management purposes. The ways of their solving based on the methodology for the accounting of PSAs are suggested. The methodology and scientific approaches of the research imply general scientific and specific research methods associated with complex processes of the functioning of the system for managing business entities in languages of the PSA implementation. There proposed a scheme for accounting in the context of the PSA implementation, which allows introducing in the accounting system objects that are new and characteristic only for the PSA. The practical significance is that the obtained results make it possible to separate compensation costs, single social contribution, which is necessary for determining the object of taxation in the context of PSA; to generate information on compensation costs, which is necessary when dividing the products into compensatory and profitable ones, which allows to reflect in the accounting the division of finished products into compensatory, profitable for the investor and profitable for the state. The originality and value of the authors’ development contributes to the formation of reliable information about management objects in the PSA between enterprises and the state, with clear allocation of compensation costs, compensatory products, profitable products for the state and profitable products for the investor in separate accounts.

At a single visit, patients completed the questionnaire comprising 30 questions centered on their experience receiving an intravenously administered therapy to treat their IA. The questionnaire included questions on patient demographics, disease characteristics, and previous biologic treatment for IA (subcutaneous [SC] and IV). Patients rated their level of agreement with statements regarding satisfaction with current IV biologic therapy and potential advantages and disadvantages of IV biologic therapy using a 5-point Likert scale (1= strongly disagree, 5= strongly agree).Results: One hundred patients were enrolled and completed the survey; 66% were female and the mean age was 58 years. Before IV treatment, 97% of patients received information regarding therapy options. Ninety patients ranked their satisfaction with current IV therapy as 4 or 5. The proportion of patients with an “extremely favorable” perception of IV therapy increased from 33% to 71% following initiation of their current medication. Thirty-one patients had previously received SC therapies to treat their IA.Conclusion: These results demonstrated an overall favorable perception of IV therapy among this patient population. Patients previously treated with SC therapy also had a positive shift in the perception of IV therapy after initiating IV therapy. Patients’ perception and preference for treatment options should be highly considered by the treating physician during or as part of a shared decision-making process. Abstract

The proper evaluation of accounting objects influences essentially upon the reliability of assessing the financial situation of a company. Thus, the problem in accounting estimate is quite relevant. The works of home and foreign scholars on the issues of assessment of accounting objects, regulatory and legal acts of Ukraine controlling the accounting and compiling financial reporting are a methodological basis for the research. The author uses the theoretical methods of cognition (abstraction and generalization, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction and other methods producing conceptual knowledge) for the synthesis of theoretical and methodological principles in the evaluation of assets accounting, liabilities and equity. The tabular presentation and information comparison methods are used for analytical researches. The article considers the modern approaches to the issue of evaluation of accounting objects and financial statements items. The expedience to keep records under historical value is proved and the articles of financial statements are to be presented according to the evaluation on the reporting date. In connection with the evaluation the depreciation of fixed assets is considered as a process of systematic return into circulation of the before advanced funds on the purchase (production, improvement) of fixed assets and intangible assets by means of including the amount of wear in production costs. Therefore it is proposed to amortize only the actual costs incurred, i.e. not to depreciate the fixed assets received free of charge and surplus valuation of different kinds.

Abstract

Data-driven machine learning is playing a crucial role in the advancements of Industry 4.0, specifically in enhancing predictive maintenance and quality inspection. Federated learning (FL) enables multiple participants to develop a machine learning model without compromising the privacy and confidentiality of their data. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of different FL aggregation methods and compare them to central and local training approaches. Our study is based on four datasets with varying data distributions. The results indicate that the performance of FL is highly dependent on the data and its distribution among clients. In some scenarios, FL can be an effective alternative to traditional central or local training methods. Additionally, we introduce a new federated learning dataset from a real-world quality inspection setting.

48. Interest Convergence and Market-Based School Reform: The Promise and Limits of Using Controlled Choice to Desegregate Schools

Abstract

This article uses interest convergence and market-based theories to examine a recently-adopted controlled choice school admissions model intended to desegregate a diverse, urban school district. Drawing on longitudinal, qualitative interviews with advantaged parents who articulated support for controlled choice, we find that these parents' positive view of the measure was based on a belief that the desegregation policy benefited their own children as well as poor children of color. Yet for many, support for the reform was contingent on their child's school assignment, pointing to the limits of utilizing a market-based model for achieving educational equity.

Abstract

The executive branch (the government) is usually not directly elected by the people, but is created by another elected body or person such as the parliament or the president. As a result, its members are not directly accountable to the people, individually or as a group. We propose a scenario where government members are directly elected by the people, and seek to achieve proportional representation in the process. We will present a formal model for the allocation of K offices, each associated with a disjoint set of candidates contesting for that seat. A group of voters provides ballots for each of the offices. Since using simple majority voting for each office independently may result in minority preferences being completely ignored, here we adapt the greedy version of proportional approval voting (GreedyPAV) to our framework. In the article Electing the Executive Branch you can find an in-depth explanation of the model and a demonstration - through computer-based simulations - of how voting for all offices together using this rule overcomes this weakness and upholds the axiom of proportionality. In this article, we will present the implementation of the algorithm (GreedyPAV) proposed by Rutvik Page, Ehud Shapiro, and Nimrod Talmon in the article mentioned above. In addition, we tested our implementation through a survey, the results of which will be presented and analyzed later in the article.
