The latest beam commissioning phase of the Normal Conducting Linac at ESS delivered a proton beam through the Medium Energy Beam Transport (MEBT) into the first Drift Tube Linac (DTL) tank. The probe beam in MEBT consisted of 3.6 MeV protons of 6 mA, 5 microseconds pulse length and 1 Hz repetition rate. Following the delivery of the components at ESS in Lund in June 2019, the commissioning phase with the MEBT was completed in July 2022. In March 2022, the maximum beam current of 62.5 mA was transported up to the MEBT Faraday cup. The European Spallation Source, currently under construction in Lund Sweden, will be a spallation neutron source driven by a superconducting proton linac with a design power of 5 MW. The linac features a high peak current of 62.5 mA and long pulse length of 2.86 ms with a repetition rate of 14 Hz. The normal conducting part of the linac has been undergoing beam commissioning in multiple steps, and the main focus of the beam commissioning has been on bringing systems into operation, including auxiliary ones. In 2022, beam was transported to the end of the first tank of the five-tank drift tube linac. The construction of the ESS accelerator is in full swing. Many key components have been delivered from our in-kind partners and installation, testing and commissioning is making remarkable progress. The first machine section to be commissioned with beam is the Normal Conducting Linac (NCL). When completed, a 14 Hz, 2.86 ms proton beam up to 62.5 mA will be transported from the Ion Source, through the Low Energy Beam Transport (LEBT) line, the Radiofrequency Quadrupole (RFQ), the Medium Energy Beam Transport (MEBT) line and the five Drift Tube Linac (DTL) tanks up to 90 MeV where it will be injected in the first superconducting module of the machine. As part of the 5 MW European Spallation Source (ESS), the Medium Energy Beam Transport (MEBT) was designed, assembled, and installed in the tunnel since May 2020 by ESS-Bilbao. This section of the accelerator is located between the Radio Frequency Quadrupole (RFQ) and the Drift Tube Linac (DTL). The main purpose of the MEBT is to match the incoming beam from the RFQ both transversely and longitudinally into the DTL. The longitudinal matching is achieved by three 352.209 MHz RF buncher cavities. In this paper, we focus on the RF conditioning process for each set of power coupler and buncher cavity. For this purpose, different tools were developed on EPICS and Python as well as electronics hardware such as Fast Interlock Module (FIM) and timing system. Design and development of a 30 kW, 352 MHz pulsed RF solid-state power amplifier to be utilized for feeding re-bunching cavities in proton linac, is in progress at ESS-Bilbao. This modular transmitter is based on in-phase combination of compact, water-cooled 2 kW RF power modules, each one consists of two combined LDMOS transistors in balanced configuration. The modules include individual bias control, measurement and supply circuits. Gate modulation is foreseen to increase efficiency in pulsed regime that is up to 3ms RF pulse width and 10% duty cycle. The construction of SESAME, a 2.5 GeV, and 3rd generation synchrotron-light source is under progress. The first electron beam from the Microtron at low energy (less than 10 MeV) could be obtained on July, 14th, 2009 and reproduced several times. The tests of the injection and extraction system as well as the hydraulically and electrical tests of the main magnets of the Booster are complete and the vacuum chambers tests are underway. The Booster RF cavity and its plunger have been conditioned successfully by 1.7 kW CW RF power. The installation of the Booster is expected to start after the completion of the shielding.
