Economic development has encouraged innovation in a range of industries; however, the education industry has been following traditional modes of teaching until recently across the world. This has not only affected the capabilities of the youth but has also led to the problem of unemployment and diminished success rates at the workplace. One of the factors contributing to this situation is the lack of student engagement. In this research, we examined the factors affecting student engagement among higher education students and determining the impact of pedagogical approaches with active leaning on influencing the engagement level. Analysis of 50 higher education level 3-7 students has shown that the major hinderance in student engagement is assessing their current knowledge levels to teach lessons effectively. Hence, using practical knowledge impartation mechanisms such as gamification, collaborative and peer learning would improve the cognitive, learning, and emotional behaviour of students; thus, boosting the engagement level.

The aim of this review is to analyse and evaluate the inclusive and innovative curriculum design and demonstrate delivery practice to measure the effectiveness on diverse groups of individual students. In this respect, this review applied some established theories, principles and models of curriculum design including hidden curriculum that may be useful in different forms and levels of learning and planning for teaching and learning in the context of post compulsory education. This review highlighted the researchers own teaching and learning experience with diverse groups of learners and promotional inclusivity at higher educational institutions.

Teaching and learning process can be defined as a transformation process of knowledge from teachers to students. It is referred as the combination of various elements within the process where an educator identifies and establish the learning objectives and develop teaching resources and implement the teaching and learning strategy. On the other hand, learning is a cardinal factor that a teacher must consider while teaching students. The paper evaluated various academic journals, pedagogy, and inclusive practices to assess the teaching effectiveness within the higher education setting. The objective of the research is to assess the teaching effectiveness in a higher education setting. The research used experimental research methods (primarily reflection) using literary forms to analyse the theory with the reinforcement of the practice from the university experiences. The research findings suggest that providing positive and adequate formative and developmental feedback, introduction of role-play has a profound positive impact on the students' confidence and self-esteem. It was also revealed that, active learning environment promotes inclusivity and improve the faculty and student academic performances. The research findings will enable the educators to help create and implement an inclusive teaching and learning environment to improve the learner's expectation and academic performance.

Objective: The purpose of the current study was to examine the effectiveness of green macroalgae as a novel, natural feed additive for broilers that have a greater concentration of active ingredients. Materials and Methods: Four experimental groups of 180-day-old male broiler chicks (Cobb-500) were randomly assigned, with three replicates in each group: the control group [T0, maintained only with basal diet] and three treatment groups supplemented with macroalgae for 35 days along with basal diet [T1 = 0.05% (w/w); T2 = 0.1% (w/w); T3 = 0.2% (w/w) macroalgae]. Live weight, carcass weight, and organs' weight were noted at the conclusion of the experiment. The meat quality was examined using the muscles of the thighs and breasts, and blood serum was obtained for biochemical assessment. Results: The results revealed that dietary supplementation of green macroalgae (0.1%) in broiler rations significantly (p < 0.05) improved the growth performance compared to other treated groups and controls. With increasing weight, it enhanced meat quality traits assessed by increased water holding capacity, ultimate pH, redness and yellowness, and decreased lightness of muscles in the thighs and breasts. Both the levels of serum cholesterol and abdominal fat decreased and showed no unwholesome effects on liver and kidney functions. Conclusions: For the production of safe and high-quality poultry meat, marine green macroalgae (Enteromorpha intestinalis) could be used as a potential feed additive. It enhanced the growth rate in broilers and improved meat quality and serum biochemical parameters for supplying healthy meat in the human food chain. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of a ternary nanocomposite of carbon nanotube (CNT) and ZnO-nanorod (ZNR)-reinforced fish gelatin (FG), assessing its potential applications for wearable smart technology. The nanocomposite is prepared by the solution casting method by varying concentrations of nanofillers (0.00, 0.20, 0.25, and 0.30%), where individual nanofillers are taken in the same concentration and analyzed by different characterization techniques to comprehend their interaction. Regarding nanofillers, nearly perfect graphitized CNTs of minimum defects and ZNRs with a high degree of crystallinity with an interlayer spacing of 0.233 nm are used and encapsulation of the nanofillers by the FG matrix is observed. The crystallinity is increased with the initial incorporation of nanofillers but interestingly decreases with higher concentrations. Amide bands are identified with peak shifting, suggesting enhanced interactions between nanofillers and the FG matrix. With the increase in nanofiller concentration, the effects on thermal stability of the nanocomposites and shifting in glass transition and melting temperatures are also investigated. The incorporation of nanofillers significantly improved the mechanical and electrical properties. This study would help to understand the influence of nanofillers in tailoring the properties of nanocomposite, offering opportunities to tune their properties and explore applications in wearable smart technology. This study focused on the impact of substrates shape on the heat radiationcharacteristics of a coating made of titanium carbide, TiC, deposited over a graphite basis. The TiC coating emissivity increase by 29.65% at 1050 °C and by 37.45% at 1650 °C when graphite, substrate surface roughness, was decreased from 3.01 µm to 0.73 µm. Simultaneously, the TiC coating's spectrum emissivity on the graphite substrate indicated the material's clear characteristic heat radiation. These findings demonstrated that the coating and substrate interacted to determine the coating's heat radiation properties. A simplified coating model created to consider how the shape of the substrate affects the coating's ability to conduct heat. Ultimately, the rough form of the substrate led to a decrease in the coating's heat radiation characteristics and an enhancement in energy loss at the interface. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
