Solar collectors belong to radiation life - support systems, have a long service life, high efficiency and technological availability, with fairly simple implementations they solve the problems of warming, heating and hot water supply. Solar radiation energy is considered to be the most renewable, most environmentally friendly and carbon-free form of energy. This paper discusses experimental and computational studies of the radiation life - support system carried out in 2018–2021 in the climate of Western Siberia made it possible to offer a number of recommendations for the development and operation of a radiation life support system for the purpose of supplying heat to rural houses, cottages and detached buildings. The temperatures of the radiation panel and the environment were recorded by an 88598 logger on the measuring cell of the experimental stand, located on the sloping roof of a one-story building located far from large settlements. Solar energy refers to clean and renewable energy sources. The operation of radiation heating systems does not require significant costs. The work of radiation panels is affected by a number of natural factors, such as сlouds, temperature and humidity of atmospheric air, precipitation, fog, time of year and day, Sun position angles and installation angles of solar panels. With an insolation area of a solar collector of 0.02 m², it is capable to produce about 1 ... 2 W (50 ... 100 W/ m²) in winter and 5 ... 8 W (250 ... 400 W/ m²) in summer. With a living area of a small farmhouse of 60 m², the area of the southern slope of the roof is 50 ... 70 m², which makes it possible to get 2.5 ... 7 kW of power for premises heating. One of the main advantages of radiation cooling is autonomy, i.e. independence of radiation cooling systems from electrical and thermal energy. Experimental studies and their calculated processing showed that radiation cooling, related to environmentally friendly and renewable energy sources, can have a specific cooling performance in air conditioner mode from approximately 50 W/ m² to about 60 W/ m² for June, from about 40 W/ m² to about 70 W/ m² for July and from about 35 W/ m² to about 65 W/ m² for August. The advantages of the radiation life-support systems include the use of a renewable energy source, noiselessness, and the absence of harmful emissions into the atmosphere during the conversion of solar radiation into other forms of energy. One of the promising types of such life-support systems are tubular-type radiation solar heaters, which have the best price/ quality ratio. In the northern regions and in Siberia, the use of radiation heating systems in the cold season can significantly save on heating buildings, and in the offseason to completely abandon the use of organic fuels and electricity. The use of modern technologies and heat-insulating materials in the construction of buildings allows the use of solar radiation heating systems, both for heating and water heating for hot water supply of cottage-type buildings without additional energy sources. The article describes the construction of a thin element sensitive to platinum and the technological process of its manufacture. Particular attention is paid to the study of the main parameters in the temperature range from 13.8 to 370 K.
