Reinforce the strength of PVC by adding glass fiber, study the mechanical properties of PVC on different contents of glass fiber. With the increasing contents of glass fiber, the tensile and bending strength, impact strength are increased, but the breaking elongation is decreased. In order to further improve the toughness of PVC, do research on how to toughen the GF/PVC alloy, study the influence of CPE and ACR on GF/PVC. Use the method of blending modification of glass fiber, PVC and modifiers, significantly increase the impact strength and breaking elongation while maintaining the strength. Compare the influence of CPE and ACR on GF/PVC properties, make excellent strengthened PVC material.

The pre-stressed modal and random vibration of electron gun are calculated by finite element software ANSYS Workbench. The results show that electron gun under the excitation of radial load (X direction) can be in danger of disable structure. Some measures can be taken to avoid electron gun failure due to resonance, such as replacing the materials, changing the structure of weak links and changing TWT installation to make external incentives along the axial direction (Y direction). The analysis results can provide effective reference and guidance for TWT development.

With the method of two-stage mixing, two different tread rubbers have been mixed in internal mixer under the different process conditions. After the experiments, test the temperature rise of rubber compound, mooney viscosity and carbon black disperisity. Study the effect of process condition change on the temperature rise of two kinds of rubber compounds and analyze the relationships between the rubber temperature rise and mooney viscosity, carbon black dispersity. The study finds that the temperature rise of rubber compound has a relationship with the rotor speed of internal mixer, rubber viscosity and filling factors, but when the temperature rise of rubber compound is steady, the carbon black dispersity of rubber compound also can be steady. After two-stage mixing, carbon black dispersity of rubber compounds have been improved obviously. These results also imply that rotor speed of internal mixer and filling factor are very important to carbon black dispersity of rubber compounds.

This research is aimed to achieve TPU-based TPU/PA6 blends which is equipped with both considerable mechanical properties and antistatic performance by blending with different portions of compatibilizer EVA-g-MAH and conductive carbon black with twin screw extruder. Results indicate that, the EVA-g-MAH not only improves the blend’s compatibility but also the mechanical properties. DSC results show that the gap between the glass transition temperatures of TPU and PA6 got shorten after adding EVA-g-MAH. The 70TPU/30PA6/15 EVA-g-MAH has better mechanical properties which are congruent with the findings of the SEM, and when this ratio was blended with different portions of conductive carbon black, their mechanical properties almost retain the same, but the blends obtain the antistatic property eventually. While lowering the production costs, the industrial application scope of TPU is widened especially the fields which have high requirement for antistatic property, such as electronic, medical, automotive, packaging, etc.
