In this paper, we investigated some basic properties of rough I-convergence of a triple sequence spaces of fuzzy in three dimensional matrix spaces which are not earlier. In addition, it was studied the set of all rough I-limits of a triple sequence spaces and also the relation between analytic ness and rough I-core of a triple sequence spaces.

This paper investigates the impact of mutual coupling (MC) on the achievable sum-rate of power-domain non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system in both uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmissions. We assume a single-antenna user NOMA system with directional beamforming in the millimeter wave (mmW) channel. Due to the electromagnetic interaction between the antenna elements, called mutual coupling, at the base station (BS), the steering vector of the channel is affected. Consequently, this leads to distorted antenna pattern pointing towards different directions and reduction in channel gain, based on antenna array structure. In this paper, different antenna geometries and configurations, such as one-dimensional (1D) uniform linear array (ULA), two-dimensional (2D), and three-dimensional (3D) uniform circular array (UCA), are implemented at the BS, where induced electromotive force (EMF) and method of moment (MOM) techniques are used to generate the MC coefficients. We first examine the antenna patterns affected by MC, followed by channel gains of user terminals (UT)s. Then sum-rate of the NOMA system is modified in the presence of MC. Furthermore, mutual coupling is compensated successfully for both UL and DL systems for the given antenna structures. Simulation results show that mutual coupling degrades the sum-rate performance of the NOMA system in all three array structures, especially in the UCA structure due to the smaller spacing of the array element in a circular shape, resulting in symmetric mutual coupling from both sides of the circle. On the other hand, it is also shown that compensating the mutual coupling effect by the MOM technique in the case of unknown MC or matrix inversion in the case of known MC significantly improves the system sum-rate in all scenarios.

In the paper, we investigate rough statistical approximation properties of (p; q)-analogue of Bernstein-Stancu Operators. We study approximation properties based on rough statistical convergence. We also study error bound using modulus of continuity.

We obtain a Korovkin-type approximation theorem for Bernstein Stancu polynomials of rough statistical convergence of triple sequences of positive linear operators of three variables from $H_{\omega}\left( K\right) $ to $C_{B}\left( K\right) $, where $K=[0,\infty)\times\lbrack0,\infty )\times\lbrack0,\infty)$ and $\omega$ is non-negative increasing function on $K$.

In this work, the liquefaction of coal and biomass with direct liquefaction strategy was explored. The point of liquefaction is both to utilize a greater amount of the current coal and biomass assets all the more productively and to create an alternative liquid fuel to oil. Along these lines, the procedure parameters must be resolved to expand the liquefaction efficiency. In addition, it is proposed to do the liquefaction efficiency, particularly in the reactant conditions, to expand the measure of oil. Process parameters were controlled by utilizing Factorial Experimental Design technique in the liquefaction procedures. The solid/liquid ratio was changed as 1/2-1/4, the catalyst concentration was 2–6%, the temperature was 375–400 °C and the duration was 30–90 min. Starting nitrogen pressure was set at 30 bar, stirring speed was 400 rpm, coal/biomass proportion was settled at 1/1. Tetralin as a solvent and MoO3 as catalyst were utilized. Toward the finish of the liquefaction procedure, the total conversions were computed in view of the acquired non-reactive solid (char). As indicated by the outcomes obtained, the most total conversion (81.9%) was acquired at a solid/liquid proportion of 1/2, a catalyst concentration of 2%, a reaction time of 90 min and a reaction temperature of 400 °C. In light of total conversions and elective liquid fuel (oil) in the given conditions, the solid/liquid ratio should be taken as 1/2, the catalyst concentration is 2%, the reaction time is 30–90 min and the reaction temperature is 400 °C. The lowest reaction time found, in this study, is the innovative solution for reducing co-liquefaction cost preferred.

This study proposes a low-complexity deep learning-based beamforming neural network (BFNN) for massive multiple-input single-output (MISO) systems. We adopt an unsupervised learning-based convolutional neural network (CNN) model. The network is trained to obtain an analog phase shifters (PSs)-based beamforming vector of a given user by maximizing the system spectral efficiency (SE) while maintaining the transmitted power constraint. The channel state information (CSI) for millimeter wave (mmWave) channel and signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) are used as inputs to the network. We also proposed a novel input feeding arrangement to the network and assessed its performance by using different input data representations. Simulation results show that the CNN-BFNN has the lowest complexity compared to a fully connected neural network (FCNN) and the existing conventional algorithms. Furthermore, the CNN model with fast Fourier transform (FFT) input provides the highest SE performance among all other input data representations.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to determine whether the addition of different types of boron (Borax, Boric Acid and Colemanite) to polymethyl methacrylate denture base resin would improve flexural and impact strengths, and surface hardness of polymethyl methacrylate. Materials and methods: Borax, Boric acid, Colemanite were added to heat polymerized polymethyl methacrylate specimens were prepared for flexural strength (65x10x2.5 mm), impact strength (50x6x4 mm), and hardness (20x6x4 mm) tests according to the manufacturers’ instructions (n=10). To determine flexural strength of the specimens, they were loaded until failure on a universal testing machine using a three point bending test. Specimens were subjected to the Charpy impact test machine. Hardness of the specimens was measured with an analog shoremeter Shore D. The data were analyzed with Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests (α=0.05). Results: The highest mean flexural strength value was seen in 3% Borax group and followed by 1% Colemanite group. In addition, the highest mean impact strength value was recorded in 1% Colemanite group, and differences between 1% Colemanite group and control group were found to be statistically significant (p=0,001). In this work, using the concept of natural density, we introduce the $\left( p,q\right) $-analogue of the Stancu-beta operators of rough $\lambda$% -statistically $\rho$-Cauchy convergence on triple sequence spaces. We define the set of Bernstein Stancu beta opeators of rough statistical limit points of a triple sequence spaces and obtain to $\lambda-$statistical convergence criteria associated with this set. Also, we examine the relations between the set of Bernstein-Stancu beta operators of rough $\lambda$-statistically $\rho$-Cauchy convergence of triple sequences.

This letter proposes a partial-beam non-orthogonal multiple access (PB-NOMA) system for millimeter wave (mmWave) channels. In the proposed system, the user terminals (UT)s partially belong to different user groups and power-domain partial NOMA (P-NOMA) technique is exploited in their allocated spectrum. While an individual beam serves the UTs in one group, the UTs in the same group, including the overlapped beam UTs, employ the P-NOMA scheme. Overlapped beam UTs are present when two near UTs are closely correlated and when they are equally belonging to two user groups. Fuzzy C-means (FCM) clustering method, which considers the channel correlation coefficient as a similarity measure, is proposed to group the users. Then, user pairing is performed based on the channel gain differences and fuzzy membership values. Simulation results reveal that the sum-rate performance of the proposed PB-NOMA scheme with fuzzy clustering is shown to be better than that of the conventional P-NOMA systems by adjusting overlapped beam ratio (OBR) and lower near UT overlap ratio (NOR) in a preferable group. In power-domain non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), since many users are able to utilize a single frequency subcarrier with different power levels, user interference occurs if successive interference cancellation (SIC) at the receiver is not performed perfectly. To reduce the amount of interference among all the users, recently an alternative approach called partial-NOMA (P-NOMA) was proposed. In this approach, the system allows partially overlapped bandwidth of the users and enables them to use NOMA in the overlapped region while the users in the non-overlapped bandwidth are arranged to utilize orthogonal multiple access (OMA). What should be the amount of overlap ratios (OR)s and the corresponding power levels still needs further research. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for joint allocation of ORs and power in P-NOMA system, which is based on gradient search, with the maximum sum-rate objective and user fairness constraint. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm, which has lesser complexity than exhaustive search, obtains the optimum ORs and power allocation (PA) coefficient such that the maximum sum-rate of the P-NOMA is higher than that of the conventional NOMA while the target user fairness based on Jain's index is achieved.

Mutual coupling compensation in uniform linear and circular receiving antenna arrays of thin wire dipoles is presented. It was observed that the mutual impedance is independent of the incident angle and depends solely on the geometry of the array. By using only one measurement, decoupling matrix is computed and direction of arrival is estimated.

The etiology of the disease has remained elusive, but mutations causing aberrant RNA splicing have been considered one of the significant factors in various cancer types. The association of aberrant RNA splicing with drug/therapy resistance further increases the importance of these mutations. In this work, the impact of the splicing factor 3B subunit 1 (SF3B1) K700E mutation, a highly prevalent mutation in various cancer types, is investigated through molecular dynamics simulations. Based on our results, K700E mutation increases flexibility of the mutant SF3B1. Consequently, this mutation leads to i) disruption of interaction of pre-mRNA with SF3B1 and p14, thus preventing proper alignment of mRNA and causing usage of abnormal 3' splice site, and ii) disruption of communication in critical regions participating in interactions with other proteins in pre-mRNA splicing machinery. We anticipate that this study enhances our understanding of the mechanism of functional abnormalities associated with splicing machinery, thereby, increasing possibility for designing effective therapies to combat cancer at an earlier stage.

In wireless communication systems, identifying the number of channel taps offers an enhanced estimation of the channel impulse response (CIR). In this work, efficient identification of the number of wireless channel taps has been achieved via deep neural networks (DNNs), where we modified an existing DNN and analyzed its convergence performance using only the transmitted and received signals of a wireless system. The displayed results demonstrate that the adopted DNN accomplishes superior performance in identifying the number of channel taps, as compared to an existing algorithm called Spectrum Weighted Identification of Signal Sources (SWISS).

Mutual coupling is compensated in a four element uniform linear receiving array using software defined radios. Direction of arrival (DoA) is estimated in real-time for the array with spacing d=lambda/4. The decoupling matrix was measured using a VNA for only one incident angle. After compensation the error in DoA estimation was reduced to 5%. Comparing the DoA results with d=lambda/2 spaced Uniform Linear Array (ULA), 1.2% error was observed. Although, the experiment was performed indoors with a low SNR, the results show a substantial improvement in the estimated DoA after compensation. Channel emulators are widely utilized measurement instruments to generate desired environmental channel effects in laboratory environments. Within these instruments, baseband emulators are expensive, and reverberation chambers provide limited control of the channel. However, radio-frequency (RF) circuit implementation of channel emulators provides an affordable and easy tool to test performances of new systems and methods under different channel effects. In this paper, a new RF domain Doppler emulator, which is compact and easy to control, is presented for measuring signal characteristics under frequency dispersive channel conditions. The circuit has been implemented using variable attenuators, switches, and power splitters to emulate the Doppler spread of air-ground channels, and the performance is evaluated through measurements. It is observed that the emulator indeed generates the desired Doppler model close enough to replicate environmental channels for mobile applications in laboratory environments. This paper aims to improve further on the work of Phu (2001), Aytar (2008), and Ghosal (2013). We propose a new apporach to extend the application area of rough statistical convergence usually used in triple sequence of the Bernstein operator of real numbers to the theory of probability distributions. The introduction of this concept in the probability of Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical convergence, Bernstein polynomials of rough strong Cesàro summable, Bernstein polynomials of rough lacunary statistical convergence, Bernstein polynomials of rough convergence, Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical convergence, and Bernstein polynomials of rough strong summable to generalize the convergence analysis to accommodate any form of distribution of random variables. Among these six concepts in probability only three convergences are distinct Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical convergence: (1) Bernstein polynomials of rough lacunary statistical convergence, (2) Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical convergence where Bernstein polynomials of rough strong Cesàro summable is equivalent to Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical convergence, and (3) Bernstein polynomials of rough convergence which is equivalent to Bernstein polynomials of rough lacunary statistical convergence. Bernstein polynomials of rough strong summable is equivalent to Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical convergence. Basic properties and interrelations of these three distinct convergences are investigated and some observations were made in these classes and in this way we demonstrated that rough statistical convergence in probability is the more generalized concept than the usual Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical convergence.

In this paper we define and study rough convergence of triple sequences, the set of rough limit points of a triple sequence. Also investigate the relations between the set of cluster points and the set of rough limit points of a triple sequence.

WOS: 000454900300010 In this work, we present and analyze the simulation results of millimeter-wave propagation channel performed over the sea surface for ship to ship scenario. We present a channel characterization study where channel parameters such as path loss, received power, root mean square delay spread, and power delay profile are inspected by taking the ray tracing advantages of the Wireless InSite software. 35 GHz and 94 GHz are the bands of interest, as they have minimum water and oxygen attenuation and their performances in practice would be the best among the other frequency bands. In our study, we investigate the effect of ray spacing, Earth's curvature, and the sea surface roughness on marine channel characteristics. Our results demonstrate that 2-ray analytical model should be only used for some short ranges over the sea surface propagating at high frequencies. Besides, free-space path loss model cannot predict the behavior of channel over the sea surface in high frequencies even for the short ranges. Therefore, a new path loss model is proposed to compensate the defects of existing path loss models by the means of changing the reflection coefficient and modifying the original 2-ray path loss model. This proposed model is able to better follow the simulated or measured propagation loss with less error, when it is compared with Free Space and 2-ray path loss models. Hence, this new model can be used for the path loss calculations at the mentioned frequencies especially for large distances between transmitter and receiver.

This paper proposes an extended method for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation with unknown mutual coupling for coherent signals. The proposed method employs the forward/backward spatial smoothing to decorrelate the coherent signals in the process of rank reduction with the joint iterative subspace optimization approach. Then, the autocalibration of mutual coupling is performed based on the Capon's minimum variance criterion. Performance of the proposed method is compared with the state of the art algorithms in terms of DOA root-mean-square error and in terms of probability of successful estimation, where successful estimation is the case when the average of absolute DOA estimation error is within 2.5 degrees. It is shown that the proposed method has a similar performance as the state of the art autocalibration methods while offering a lower computational complexity.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate how microshear bond strength of different adhesive resin cements are affected by dentin desensitizers application and preparation depth. Materials and Methods: One hundred and forty-four maxillary incisors were randomly divided into two groups according to dentin preparation depth (0.8 and 1 mm) and each group subdivided into four dentin desensitizers, Nd:YAG (Neodymium-doped Yttrium aluminum Garnet) laser and control groups. The dentin desensitizers used were Gluma [Glutaraldehyde/ Hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA)], BisBlock (Oxalate) Vivasens-Potassium Fluoride (KF) and Admira Protect (Ormocer/HEMA), respectively. Three dual cure resin based luting cement (RelyX ARC; Variolink II and Maxcem Elite) were used to create a 0.7 mm diameter and 1 mm height cylindirical shape buid-up in tygon tubes (n=10). Micro-shear bond strength (µSBS) test was performed at a crosshead of speed of 0.5 mm/min using a Universal testing device. Then tooth surface was investigated by steromicroscope and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Data were analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney U and Chi-Square (X2) tests. (p = 0.05) Results: There was no statistically difference between the groups at 0.8 mm preparation depth. At 1 mm preparation dept RelyX ARC + Gluma groups' mean bond strength value (23.96 ± 6.66 MPa) was found statistically lower according to the other groups (p < 0.05). RelyX ARC + Laser groups' mean bond strength value (37.33 ± 7.39 MPa) was found statistically higher according to the other groups (p < 0.05). Conclusions: The use of desensitizing agents affected the bond strength of the resin cements to superficial dentin. Gluma desensitizer affected negatively µSBS of RelyX ARC resin cement at 1 mm depth. Application of Nd:YAG laser to superficial dentin showed positive effects to the dentin surface and bond strength. This paper analyzes the effect of fast fading Doppler channel on user scheduling algorithms. Considering a millimeter wave (mmWave) downlink massive multiple-input multiple-output (M-MIMO) system, we adopt a two-stage precoding method to cancel the interference from users. Improved K-mean clustering method with weighted likelihood (WLD) similarity measure is employed to group the active users within a given region. After grouping the users, different scheduling methods, semi-orthogonal user selection (SUS) algorithm and greedy algorithm, are implemented. Initially, grouping and scheduling are performed based on the static channels. Then, the scheduled users are simultaneously served for the next time frames without rescheduling while the users are moving. With this approach, this paper reveals how static and time-varying user grouping and scheduling methods perform in terms of system sum-rate when the fast moving users experience the Doppler effect. Different scenarios of number of active users and time frames are simulated. It is observed that rescheduling is required when greedy algorithm is used in order to maintain high sum-rate, while SUS algorithm does not achieve high sum-rate compared to greedy algorithm. The aim of this paper is to introduce the triple sequence spaces of intuitionistic rough I-convergent of BΛ3(μ,γ)(f, x, T) and Bχ3(μ,γ)(f, x, T) are defined by compact Bernstein operator and study the topology general properties.

In this paper, we propose an efficient automatic modulation classification (AMC) scheme for a group of narrowband and digitally modulated signals such as quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK), 16-PSK, 64-PSK, 4-quadratic-amplitude modulation (QAM), 16-QAM, and 64-QAM. The classification was performed by analyzing the probability density distribution for the real and imaginary parts of the modulated signals. To simplify the complexity of the proposed approach, we performed the classification in two stages: first, we classified the modulation between QAM and PSK signaling, and then, we determined the $M$ -ary order of the modulation by developing kernel density estimation, which is typically used in nonparametric methods for the estimation of the probability density function of a random variable with finite data samples. Simulations were carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme for flat channels. It is observed that this simple efficient technique can find applications in blind AMC, as the performance comparison with the state of the art is promising.

In this study, we describe the behavior of LTE over the sea and investigate the problem of radio resource block allocation in such SINR limited maritime channels. For simulations of such sea environment, we considered a network scenario of Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, Turkey with different number of ships ferrying between two ports at a given time. After exploiting the network characteristics, we formulated and solved the radio resource allocation problem by max-min integer linear programming method. The radio resource allocation fairness in terms of Jain's fairness index was computed and it was compared with round robin and opportunistic methods. Results show that the max-min optimization method performs better than the opportunistic and round robin methods. This result in turn reflects that the max-min optimization method gives us the high minimum best throughput as compared to other two methods considering different ship density scenarios in the sea. Also, it was observed that as the number of ships begin to increase in the sea, the max-min method performs significantly better with good fairness as compared to the other two methods., Comment: 6 pages, 10 figures. With the widespread availability of Internet, voice only broadcast in the FM Band will soon be abandoned as Internet Radio can provide the same content with no boundaries. The available band can then be exploited for bi-directional wireless services. However, before we can realize this transformation, it is crucial to lay down the channel characteristics of the FM Band to better anticipate its affect on new wireless services. As a starting point, in this study we develop a FM Band channel model for dense Hilly Terrain Regions (HTRs) by the concept of directional channel modelling. The proposed model is verified by exploiting existing channel measurements for the bands near the FM Band and simulations via ray tracing by Wireless Insite tool. Finally, a hardware implementation, capable of emulating the different wireless channel clusters for the FM Band, is introduced. The analysis, simulations, and measurements through the emulator show that the FM Band channel model proposed can indeed represent a typical FM Band channel. Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the corrosion resistance of castable and fabrication magnetic attachments systems used in prosthetic rehabilitation. Material and Methods: For corrosion test, castable magnetic attachments containing 39.5% platinum, 59.75% iron and 0.75% niobyum by weight and fabricated magnetic attachment system, Hilop, with neodymium, iron and boron content were immersed in 1% lactic acid and 0,9% NaCI for 14 days (n:8). The released iron, platinum, neodimyum, boron and niobyum ions in the solutions from the samples were examined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS) methods. Results: Iron was found the highest released element into the both solutions for all attachment systems and causing corrosion. In addition, castable magnetic attachment system was found to be the most resistant to corrosion in both environments. Conclusion: Coating with stainless steel makes the fabricated magnetic attachment system resistant to corrosion, but the high platinum content made the castable magnets more resistant to corrosion., Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, protetik tedavilerde kullanılan döküm ve fabrikasyon manyetik ataşman sistemlerinin, korozyona karşı dirençlerinin incelenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Korozyon testi için, ağırlıkça %39,5 platin, %59,75 demir ve %0,75 niobyum içeren döküm manyetik ataşmanlar ile neodmiyum, demir ve boron içeriğe sahip fabrikasyon Hilop manyetik ataşman sistemleri, %1’ lik laktik asit ve %0,9’ luk NaCl solüsyon içerisinde 14 gün boyunca bekletilmiş (n:8). Örneklerden solüsyonlar içerisine salınan demir, platin, neodimyum, bor ve niobyum iyonlarının miktarı indüktif olarak eşleşmiş plazma kütle spektroskopi (ICP-MS) yöntemiyle tayin edilmiştir. Bulgular: Her iki manyetik ataşman sisteminde de en fazla solüsyon içerisine salınan ve korozyona neden olan element demir olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca her iki ortamda da döküm manyetik ataşman sistemi korozyona karşı en dirençli sistem olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Paslanmaz çelik ile kaplama fabrikasyon manyetik ataşman sistemlerini korozyona karşı korusada döküm mıknatısların içeriğindeki yüksek orandaki platin malzemeyi korozyona karşı daha dirençli hale getirmiştir.
