The concept of healthy nutrition can be expressed as a naturally occurring concept with human history. It is seen that there is awareness about healthy nutrition activities especially in recent years and it has been increasing both academically and socially. Healthy and adequate nutrition habits are important for both individual and public health. The aim of the study is to examine the attitudes of the senior students, who are educating in the field of sports sciences, towards healthy nutrition. The sample of the study consisted of 216 university students from Kastamonu University, School of Physical Education and Sports. Attitude Scale for Healthy Nutrition consisting of 21 items and 4 sub-dimensions adapted by Turkish by Demir and Cicioglu (2019) were used. In order to determine which analysis to use parametric and non-parametric in order to determine the differences between the groups, firstly, whether the data were normally distributed or not was examined within the scope of kurtosis and skewness values. Cronbach Alpha Value of the Attitude Scale for Healthy Nutrition was found to be 90. In conclusion, as a result of the evaluations in the research, the relationship between the participants’ gender, age parameters and healthy nutrition attitudes was determined. As a result of the analyzes, the sub-dimension of the highest average score of the participants is the “Information About Nutrition” (X=3.76) sub-dimension. Objectives: Adiponectin is an anti-inflammatory cytokine that is abundantly produced by adipocytes and have a wide range of effects in sepsis pathophysiology. This study was conducted to investigate whether there is a correlation between serum adiponectin, proinflammatory cytokines’ levels, APACHE-II scores and mortality rates of the patients with sepsis, severe sepsis and septic shock. Patients and Methods: Forty-five patients who met the criteria for sepsis (n=18), severe sepsis (n=14) and septic shock (n=13) were included in this prospective study. Patients who underwent elective abdominal surgery without sepsis were identified as the control group. After the diagnosis of sepsis, blood samples were taken on the following 5 days for adiponectin, IL-6, IL-1β, TNF-α and procalcitonin levels. APACHE-II scores of the patients were calculated daily. All patients were followed for 28 days and mortalities were observed. Results: Ten of the patients died within 28 days. The serum adiponectin levels of the patients in the study group were statistically higher than those in the control group. Statistically, the adiponectin levels of the patients in the septic shock group were markedly lower than those of the patients in sepsis and severe sepsis groups. Serum adiponectin levels inversely correlated with blood levels of IL-6, IL-1β, TNF-α, procalcitonin, lactate and APACHE-II scores. Serum adiponectin levels were significantly higher in survivors. Conclusion: Adiponectin levels reveal differences between sepsis, severe sepsis and septic shock groups. In patients with septic shock, serum adiponectin levels were associated with mortality among patients. Serum adiponectin levels might be a negative predictive marker in patients with sepsis, severe sepsis and septic shock.

Objective: Acute lung injury is a complication after hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) and might be responsible for high mortality rate. The aim of this study was to demonstrate that adrenomedulline administration may prevent lung injury after hepatic I /R by downregulation of proinflammatory cytokines.

Bu çalışmanın amacı iskemik ön koşullamanın (İsÖ) yüksekşiddetli interval antrenmanı (YŞİA) ve toparlanma parametreleri üzerineetkilerini incelemektir. Araştırmaya 16 iyi antrenmanlı badmintoncu (erkek n= 10,bayan n=6 yaş: 18.90 ± 0.99, 20.33 ± 1.75 yıl; boy: 176.50 ± 5.42, 159.33 ±3.61 cm; vücut ağırlığı: 72.55 ± 7.93, 54.93 ± 4.53 kg; sistolik kan basıncı: 12.30 ± 1.15, 11.16± 1.47 mmHg; diyastolik kan basıncı: 7.80 ± 1.22, 7,66 ± 0.81 mmHg) gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Katılımcılarınhepsi tüm denemeleri tamamlamıştır. Randomize çapraz (cross-over) tasarımmodeli kullanarak performans ve toparlanma parametreleri üzerine İsÖ’nün akutetkisini belirlemek için kullanılmıştır. İsÖ, 3 set × 5 dk 220 mmHgbasınç ile her iki bacağa uygulanmıştır. Wingate stili yüksek şiddetli interval antrenmanı (YŞİA) kullanılmıştır.YŞİA protokolü vücut ağırlığının % 7.5 yük ile bisiklet ergometresinde 30 sn(all-out) şeklinde 3 set 4 dk ara ile uygulanmıştır. Her YŞİA tekrarında ZirveGüç (ZG), Ortalama Güç (OG) ve Yorgunluk İndeksi (Yİ) değerlendirilmiştir. Tüm antrenman öncesi; dinlenik kalp atım hızı (KAH), kan laktat konsantrasyonu (K[LAK]),antrenman sonrası, 12. dk ve 30. dk KAH ve K[LAK] değerlerikaydedilmiştir. Ölçümler arası 72 saat dinleme verilmiştir. İstatistikselanalizler için Parametrik olmayan Wilcoxon Eşleştirilmiş İki Örnek Testikullanılmıştır. Tüm istatistiksel işlemler anlamlılık düzeyi p 0.05). IPC'nin etkisi % -6,5,% -5,8 ve% 24,5idi. Bu sonuçlara göre, IPC uygulamalarının badminton oyuncularındaperformansın arttırılması için etkili bir yöntem olmayabileceğidüşünülmektedir.

Çalışmanın amacı TRX antrenman programının bayan voleybolcuların fiziksel performans ve fizyolojik değerleri üzerinde etkisini incelenmesidir. Kapsamını ise Kastamonu Üniversitesinde bulunan, Türkiye Voleybol Federasyonuna bağlı Ünilig ve Üniversiteler arası 1.lig müsabakalarına katılan, 18-25 yaşları aralığında, en az 2 yıldır düzenli antrenman yapan ve çalışmaya gönüllü olarak dâhil olan 19 bayan voleybolcu oluşturmuştur. Her iki grupta 8 hafta boyunca ısınma protokolünü uygulamış, Çalışma grubu ısınma sonrası TRX antrenman programını uygulamış, kontrol grubu ise rutin voleybol antrenmanına geçmiştir. Çalışma grubu TRX antrenmanından sonrarutin voleybol antrenmanlarına katılmıştır. 8 haftalık antrenmanın öncesinde ve sonrasında ölçümler alınmıştır. Ön test ve son test şeklinde yapılan ölçümlerde kemik mineral yoğunluğu, esneklik, vücut yağ yüzdesi, anaerobik güç, dikey sıçrama mesafesi ve aerobik güç parametreleri değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 istatistik paket programı ile değerlendirilmiştir.
