Abstract

The Geometer's Sketchpad 1.03 is an excellent educational software package for the study or teaching of plane geometry. It is user-friendly for novices and includes documentation of lesson plans. Constructions can be saved and invoked, such as the tracing of a locus of points. Animation of points is also possible. Sketches may be printed with descriptions, and the size of the text can be changed. Sketchpad is useful in the classroom or for personal study.
