The study of the astrophysical S-factor is one of the methods of analyzing proton radiation capture reactions in the theoretical framework for low temperatures. In this research, we have numerically studied the proton radiative capture reaction by 17O using the Woods-Saxon potential model. First, the astrophysical S-factor 17O(p,γ) 18F reaction was calculated at low energies, and then the reaction rate of 17O(p,γ) 18F was obtained from the astrophysical S-factor. Also, in this study, the electrical quadrupole transition strength (B[E2]) for excited states 18F nucleus has been calculated. We found that B[E2] depends on the energy and spin of the excited states. The results corresponding to the astrophysical S-factor, reaction rate and transition strength at energy range of 200-500 keV were compared with experimental data and other theoretical models and were in good agreement. Also, the astrophysical S-factor at zero energy was calculated by the extrapolation method for (5/2)+ state and S(0)=4/8 keV b. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: Care is the fundamental fact of nursing. In recent years, poor care is discussed frequently in articles and newspapers, however health care providers do not have a common understanding of this concept. Therefore the purpose of this paper was to clarify the concept of poor care in nursing and highlight the importance of tackling this issue. Methods: The concept was analyzed using the 8-step Walker and Avant's method. The SCOPUS, PubMed, ISI, and Embase databases were searched with the keywords "poor care" and "poor nursing care" in the titles and abstracts of articles. Of 550 sources found in the initial survey, 32 articles were finally included in the study. Results: Poor care attributes include poor evaluation, inadequate or inappropriate patient management, and delay, treating, and referring patients to other departments. These attributes are caused by antecedents of nursing workload, the complexity of patient conditions, inappropriate interactions, insufficient workforce, and educational and organizational factors. Conclusion: Poor care is a general concept that includes undesirable and unacceptable standards for receiving or providing clinical and interpersonal health services. Introduction: There are natural and artificial radioactive nuclei in our environment, as well as in the structure of the living organism. Currently, industrial and municipal pollution has also an impact on increasing the level of radiation. The present study investigated the effect of inlet water from Arak Wastewater Treatment Plant on international Meighan Wetland and assessed the radiological indicators of sediments and water samples in this area. Material and Methods: In this study, the specific activity of radionuclides in water and sediment samples taken from the water entry areas of the international Meighan wetland was determined using a high purity germanium detector (Baltic Scientific Instrument LTD, 005- Latvia). Radiological indices for collected samples were calculated, and the topographical maps of radiation dose distribution were plotted using Surfer software (version 13). Results: Specific activities of 226Ra, 232Th, 40K, and 137Cs in sediment samples were in the range of 14.44- 26.58, 22.78-34.56, 360.84-447.79, and 0.7-13.03Bq/kg, respectively. The average values of the external hazard index for sediment samples were calculated at 0.25. Conclusion: According to the obtained results, it can be concluded that pollution is more embedded in the Treatment Plant's basin, and a small amount goes to the wetlands. Radioactivity in the research area is normal, and topographic maps show that the distance from the entrance reduces the activity of radium and increases the activity of cesium. Background: Despite advances in antiemetic treatments, complications are still problematic for a significant number of patients after percutaneous nephrostolithotomy. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of using High Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) on the severity of nausea and vomiting after percutaneous nephrostolithotomyMethods & Materials: In this study, 72 patients who underwent percutaneous nephrostolithotomy in Ghaem Hospital of Mashhad in 2016, were examined. This clinical trial, included three groups and was single blinded. Patients were randomly divided into three groups: control (24 peoples), intervention (24 peoples) and placebo (24 peoples). After surgery, in the intervention group, TENS with a frequency of 100 Hz, and current intensity based on patient tolerance at a distance of 5 cm from the nephrostomy for 20 minutes twice with an interval of six hours was established. In the placebo group, TENS unit was turned on, but with zero current intensity and frequency, i.e. no electrical stimulation. The severity of nausea and vomiting before and after the intervention was measured for 18 hours. For statictical analysis SPSS Software version 20 and chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, Mnn-whitney test, kruskal-wallis test, anova and Mauchly, s test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test were used. Meanwhile utilized P value under 0.05 was assumed as significant in statistic tests. Results: The results showed that the severity of nausea and frequency of vomiting in the TENS group was lower than those of the placebo and control group but no statistically significant difference was observed between the three groups in the 18 hours after percutaneous nephrostolithotomy. The p-value was 0.96 and 0.74 for severity of nausea and vomiting, respectively. Calcification and inflammation are among the important cases of exudative age-related macular degeneration (E-ARMD). The aim of the present study was to elucidate if there is any relationship between serum Osteoprotegerin (OPG), soluble receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappa B ligand (RANK-ligand) and E-ARMD. In a cross-sectional study, we compared 45 E-ARMD patients with 45 matched controls. Diagnosis was confirmed by fluorescein angiography. Serum samples were analyzed for OPG, RANK-ligand, low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), total cholesterol (TC), and triglyceride (TG). The levels of OPG and RANK-ligand were measured by ELISA methods. The mean age was 72.0±1 1.5 years in the E-ARMD group and 68.2±8.9 years in the control group (p=0.09). The level of serum OPG was 132.10±75.49 pg/ml in the E-ARMD group and 94.88±61.65 pg/ml in the control subjects. E-ARMD patients had significantly high levels of OPG (p=0.012), as well as significantly high levels of LDL-C and TC (p=0.001 and p=0.005, respectively). We could not find any significant difference in RANK-ligand, HDL-C, or TG between two study groups (p>0.05). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study investigating the levels of OPG in E-ARMD patients. The present study showed that E-ARMD patients had high levels of serum OPG. It may act as a protective factor for E-ARMD or only as a secondary phenomenon of different processes of E-ARMD. Purpose – Since the entrepreneurship orientation has impact on entrepreneurship behaviors and its role in making competitive advantage, this study aims to discuss the relations between entrepreneurship orientation and innovative performance. Design/methodology/approach – The research has been applied research method. The confirmatory factor analysis has used for analyzing data and testing the research questions. Also, this research has used structural equation model and path analysis via computer-aided systems. Findings – The findings advocate that the dimensions of entrepreneurship orientation have impact on innovative performance except proactiveness and competitive aggressiveness. In addition, the good fitting tests confirm the model of the research. Research limitations/implications – Based on the findings, several implications suggest, such as doing the same research with considering several factors as mediators such as industry, organization size, organization types and so on, also several activities should be taken into account to getting more benefits from entrepreneurial orientation in organization. Originality/value – The study shed light on entrepreneurial orientation and its relations with innovative performance.
