본 연구는 교통약자가 새로운 경로를 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 경로추천 방법을 설계하고 구현하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 교통약자가 이용하는 대중교통 수단과 이동편의시설, 통행시간, 대기시간, 환승 등의 이동불편요소를 이용하여 이동불편지수를 산정하였다. 산정된 불편지수를 이용하여 교통약자 유형별 최적경로를 추천하는 방법을 제시하였다. 서울 내 교통약자가 많이 거주하는 기점과 통행수요가 높은 종점을 추출하여 제시한 방법을 적용하였다. 적용 결과, 이동편의시설과 이동불편요소를 고려하여 교통약자 유형별로 이동 가능한 경로를 추천할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 교통약자를 위한 경로정보 제공 서비스 구축에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The protein p110γ is an isoform of the catalytic subunit of class I phosphoinositide 3-kinases (PI3Ks). PI3Ks are involved in the regulation of cell survival, growth, proliferation, and migration and have been implicated in the oncogenesis of various cancers. In this study, p110γ expression in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and its association with clinicopathological factors and patient survival were evaluated. A total of 230 NSCLC tumors were immunohistochemically stained for p110γ. Of these, 174 (75.7%) and 56 (24.3%) were placed in the low and high expression groups, respectively. The positive rate of p110γ was significantly higher in adenocarcinoma than in squamous cell carcinoma (p⟨0.001). Advanced stage NSCLCs showed higher p110γ expression than those at an early stage (p=0.002). Irrespective of the histological tumor type, the patients with high p110γ expression had significantly worse overall survival than those with low p110γ expression (p=0.004). p110γ expression was an independent poor prognostic factor in the multivariate analysis. Our results suggest that p110γ may be involved in the development and progression of NSCLC, and that p110γ has promising potential as a prognostic factor or novel therapeutic target for NSCLC.

In recent years, with the continuous development of China's draft industry, Internet drafts have become common throughout China. The talent show industry has not only won the love of the audience, but also the attention of capital. A lot of capital began to invest in the talent show industry to cultivate new popular idols. Through social media platforms, fans can purchase products recommended by idols and vote for idols to increase their ranking. Idols also gain more popularity and sell more endorsed products through interaction with fans. This article starts with the talent economy, through questionnaire surveys and empirical methods, explores the factors that affect fans' consumption on idols. Diversified participation, idol abilities, social influence and empathy have been proved to have positive impacts on fans’ intention to consuming. This research provides detailed empirical research conclusions for China's talent show market, which has a strong role in promoting the sustainable development of the talent show economy.

This brief presents an untrimmed sub-1V CMOS bandgap reference (BGR) where a dynamic-biased error amplifier (EA) is invented to accomplish small input-referred offset voltage ( $\text{V}_{\mathrm{ off}}$ ) and improve PSRR of BGR. In the dynamic-biased EA, an intended negative-feedback loop does dominantly work on the reduction of $\text{V}_{\mathrm{ off}}$ and supply noise influx. Simulation results confirm that $\text{V}_{\mathrm{ off}}$ of the proposed EA represents 2.3% distribution whereas each $\text{V}_{\mathrm{ off}}$ of the separate biased EA and the conventional EA shows 4.8% and 15% distributions, respectively. And the PSRR of the proposed EA-based BGR is increased by 23 dB comparing with the separate biased EA-based BGR around 2.5 MHz, and by 34 dB comparing with the conventional biased EA-based BGR around 1 MHz. By adopting the proposed feedback-biased EA, the 40-nm CMOS BGR circuit has been implemented to achieve superior $3\sigma $ inaccuracy of 1.1% and temperature variation of 13 ppm/°C without trimming.

Night foggy road conditions limit visibility distance of drivers and are associated with higher accident and fatality rates than other weather conditions. Therefore, ensuring road visibility in night foggy road is critical. However, it is difficult to reproduce fog on a real road and only a few studies have researched foggy road conditions and visibility in a laboratory as a small scale. Previous studies have suggested that a color temperature of road lighting is related to visibility. However, many have only investigated the effects of relative transmittance in limited indoor experiments, and the impacts of differences in transmittance on visibility have thus far not been studied in real-scale conditions. In this study, a real-scale test involving 91 subjects was conducted to investigate how the visibility distance under night foggy conditions is affected by different lighting color temperatures. Based on the real scale experiments, the correlation between the visibility distance and lighting color temperature was derived. Road lighting with a low color temperature (i.e., yellow) was found to provide longer visibility distances than that with high color temperatures under night foggy conditions having measured visibility of approximately 102m. The impact of the differences in lighting color increased as the visibility distance decreased. In contrast, road lighting with a high color temperature (i.e., white) improved driver visibility in higher-visibility conditions. Therefore, this study confirmed the correlation between lighting color temperature and visibility distance for different visibility conditions and could serve as a foundation for the development of roadway design standards as well as future studies.

(1) Background: Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers in Korean women. This study was performed to discover the utility of HPV (Human Papillomavirus) testing in screening of cervical lesions and to provide the prevalence of HPV and the genotype distribution in a single center of Korea. (2) Methods: A total of 15,141 women who underwent both HPV testing and cervical cytology were enrolled in this retrospective medical record review study. (3) Results: HPV testing showed higher sensitivity than cytology for the detection of histological high-grade squamous lesions. Furthermore, the sensitivity and specificity of HPV testing varied depending on the method used. The BD Onclarity&trade, HPV assay had higher sensitivity (90%) than the MyHPV CHIP&trade, kit (all types of HPV: 82%, high-risk HPV: 76%) for high-grade squamous lesions. A combination of MyHPV CHIP&trade, and cytology detected 90.9% (30/33) of histological high-grade squamous lesions. A combination of BD Onclarity&trade, HPV assay and cytology detected 96.55% (84/87) of histological high-grade squamous lesions. In addition, HPV prevalence and genotype distribution were different depending on the HPV testing method used. (4) Conclusion: HPV testing showed higher sensitivity than cytology, but the sensitivity and specificity of HPV testing had variation depending on the method used.

Spontaneous and isolated dissection of the limb arteries without involvement of the aorta is extremely rare, and has been reported previously in pregnant patients in association with collagen vascular disease, and in cases of high-energy trauma or intensive activity in athletes. There is no consensus yet on indications for medical or surgical therapeutic modality. Due to the rarity of spontaneous dissection of external iliac artery, its natural history has been poorly described. A healthy 50-year-old male with normotension was admitted with an acute onset of left flank pain. Left external iliac artery dissection was diagnosed by abdominal computed tomography.

A low-power interference-tolerance wideband receiver with post-LNA active N-path filter for RF channel selection is proposed for 802.1af/ah long-range Wi-Fi standards. By leveraging gain, noise, and filtering characteristics among the wideband LNA, high-Q active N-path filter, and reconfigurable analog baseband circuits, the proposed receiver achieves high gain, low noise, and high linearity with low power dissipation. The receiver provides narrow-bandwidth RF filtering with a small chip area. Implemented in a 40-nm CMOS process with the chip size of 1.1 mm $\times2.25$ mm, the full receiver shows a conversion gain of 84 ± 1 dB and achieves noise figure from 3.4 to 3.9 dB in subgigahertz frequency bands. The measured in-band IIP3, out-of-band IIP3, and out-of-band IIP2 are −5.9, −0.5, and +62.5 dBm, respectively. The proposed receiver dissipates an average power of 41 mW.

Heat shock protein 90 (HSP90), a molecular chaperone, plays critical roles in cellular protection against various stressful stimuli and in the regulation of cellular growth and apoptosis. HSP90 has four human isoforms; HSP90α, HSP90β, glucose related protein 94 (GRP94), and tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor-associated protein 1 (TRAP1). We evaluated the differential expression of these HSP90 isoforms in colorectal cancer (CRC) and correlated their expression levels with clinicopathological factors and patient survival rates. We performed immunohistochemical staining for HSP90α, HSP90β, GRP94, and TRAP1 in 129 CRC tumor samples and found that HSP90α expression was significantly associated with advanced pT stage (P = 0.011) and shorter recurrence-free survival (RFS) (P = 0.010), whereas GRP94 expression was correlated with low grade (P = 0.029) and better RFS (P < 0.001). HSP90β and TRAP1 had no prognostic impact, although HSP90β expression was positively correlated with tumor size (P = 0.008). Based on our results, HSP90α and GRP94 are potential prognostic biomarkers of CRC. In addition, the differences in expression and functional activities among four HSP90 isoforms imply that isoform selectivity should be seriously considered when HSP90 inhibitors are studied or adopted for the treatment of CRC.

Inflammatory breast carcinoma (IBC) is one of the most lethal forms of human breast cancer, and effective treatment for IBC is an unmet clinical need in contemporary oncology. Tumor-targeted theranostic approaches are emerging in precision medicine, but only a few specific biomarkers are available. Here we report up-regulation of the 78-kDa glucose-regulated protein (GRP78) in two independent discovery and validation sets of specimens derived from IBC patients, suggesting translational promise for clinical applications. We show that a GRP78-binding motif displayed on either bacteriophage or adeno-associated virus/phage (AAVP) particles or loop-grafted onto a human antibody fragment specifically targets orthotopic IBC and other aggressive breast cancer models in vivo. To evaluate the theranostic value, we used GRP78-targeting AAVP particles to deliver the human Herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase type-1 (HSVtk) transgene, obtaining simultaneous in vivo diagnosis through PET imaging and tumor treatment by selective activation of the prodrug ganciclovir at tumor sites. Translation of this AAVP system is expected simultaneously to image, monitor, and treat the IBC phenotype and possibly other aggressive (e.g., invasive and/or metastatic) subtypes of breast cancer, based on the inducible cell-surface expression of the stress-response chaperone GRP78, and possibily other cell-surface receptors in human tumors.

In this study, we propose a cantilever-type ferro-actuator using porous polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane. Generally, a ferro-actuator is fabricated by the absorption of ferro-fluid on a backbone membrane containing strongly magnetized nanoscale Fe particles that are responsive to an external magnetic field. We suggest a porous PVDF membrane fabricated using a zinc oxide (ZnO) particulate leaching method as a backbone membrane of the ferro-actuator to increase the absorption of ferro-fluid. Ferro-fluid is absorbed on the porous PVDF membrane using a dip-coating method. First, we observe from scanning electron microscopic images the surfaces and cross sections of a pure PVDF membrane and the porous PVDF membrane using a ZnO particulate leaching method. Second, an energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscope is used to confirm the configuration of the elements and the absorption of Fe particles in the ferro-actuator. Third, we execute thermogravimetric analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis of the pure PVDF membrane, the PVDF membrane before/after particulate leaching, and of the ferro-actuator using the porous PVDF membrane. Through these analyses, we can confirm that ZnO particles in the PVDF membrane were clearly removed by the particulate leaching method and Fe particles were included in the fabricated ferro-actuator. Finally, we fabricate cantilever-type ferro-actuators using pure PVDF membrane and the porous PVDF membrane and execute blocking force and displacement tests. Compared with the ferro-actuator using the pure PVDF membrane, the ferro-actuator using the porous PVDF membrane had an increased displacements—about a 3-fold increase at the DC input and at the AC input, along with increased blocking force (about a 6-fold increase) at the DC input. Consequently, the concept that a ferro-actuator using the porous PVDF membrane exhibits enhanced actuating performance is validated.

We investigate factors affecting individual investors' switching intention from traditional financial market to crypto-currency financial market. By sampling factors of individual investors related with crypto-currency (CC), the study applies structural equation modeling method (SEM) to investigate their effects on switching intention by integrating PPM and Reinforcement Sensitivity theories (RST) to form a pulling, pushing and mooring effects model. The investigation indicates that crypto-currency market can be regarded as a kind of beneficial supplement of tradition investment market for those individual investors who are with high innovativeness, reward sensitivity, knowledge and perceived risk. This study proves that the individual investors are not only attracted by significant expected return from crypto-currency but also relevant knowledge and risks disclosed by crypto-currency market regulators and distributors. The findings reinforce major roles for both market regulators and individual investors in considering and providing insights for future policy, management and investigations.

The United States “Indo-Pacific strategy” itself entails geopolitics. Since 2017, the Indo-Pacific has emerged as a major strategic region for America’s diplomacy and security. Against this backdrop, the Indo-Pacific strategy extends both the “Asia Rebalancing Strategy” and the “Asia-Pacific Security Alliance” regime to the Indian Ocean, while seeking to bring emerging countries, such as China and India, into the U.S.-led international order. Major East Asian countries are actively employing economic means to advance their geopolitical goal -- reshaping the regional order in their own favor. The U.S. has shown a confrontational and exclusionary attitude toward China in terms of politics, economy and security, while the ASEAN has sought to promote inclusiveness by publicly expressing opposition to the exclusion of China. The ASEAN highlighted economic cooperation with China, while the U.S. focused on military and security aspects. The Indo-Pacific strategy will not be able to succeed without the participation of the ASEAN that serves as a crucial geopolitical link between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Another important factor is that unlike former U.S. President Obama, who championed the Asia-Pacific rebalance, President Donald Trump does not show keen interest in the Indo-Pacific strategy. At the same time, President Moon Jae-in has been cautious about engaging in security issues that go beyond the Korean Peninsula or the Northeast Asia -- namely joining in any collective move to contain China. Currently, South Korea is grappling with the geopolitical challenges by expressing support for the ASEAN's geoeconomic approach. Instead of choosing whether to participate in the U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy, South Korea is seeking common ground between the strategy and its “New Southern Policy.” In other words, the New Southern Policy is a kind of buffer zone. South Korea is taking a geoeconomic response that focuses on developing the regional economy rather than adhering to the strategic and military role of the U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy.

The "Four Major Rivers Restoration Project" was conducted to secure sufficient water resources, introduce comprehensive flood control measures, improve water quality, and restore river ecosystems in Korea. As a part of the project, 16 sites were dredged and weirs were installed in the Han, Geum, Yeongsan, and Nakdong Rivers from late 2010 to early 2012. Groundwater data were obtained from 213 groundwater monitoring wells near the four major rivers to analyze the impacts of weir construction on the nearby groundwater flow system. The groundwater level and chemical characteristics were analyzed to investigate how the groundwater flow system and water quality changed following weir construction. Our results show that the groundwater level immediately increased with increased river levels following weir construction. In addition, the hydrologic condition of some rivers upstream of the weirs was changed from gaining to losing streams. Consequently, the direction of groundwater flow changed from perpendicular to parallel to the river, and groundwater downstream of the weir became recharged from the area upstream of the weir. This should affect groundwater quality, which should become similar to the river water; however, this change has not yet been observed. Therefore, both further monitoring of the groundwater quality and further hydrogeochemical analysis are required for quantitative evaluation of the effects of weir construction in the study area.

A radar sensor that can detect humans beyond wall is required for fire-fighting rescue robots. In this paper, we propose a high voltage impulse generator for through the wall UWB impulse radar sensors for rescue robot application. An impulse signal of 4.2-GHz is generated by the triggered Colpitts oscillator utilizing 0.25-μm GaN/SiC HEMT power device. The simulation results show that the pick-to-pick voltage of 30-V and pulse width of about 2.2-ns are obtained while consuming 22-mA from a supply voltage of 28-V. The layout size of chip is 1-mm × 1-mm.

Virtual machines are used in various fields to increase the resource utilization. In a virtual machine monitor, I/O requests are the most frequent tasks for virtual machines. However, a virtual machine monitor cannot guarantee I/O responsiveness when multiple tasks are being performed on virtual machines. We propose a scheduling scheme that provides fast I/O responsiveness for virtual machines. The proposed scheme provides high resource utilization by dynamically allocating virtual resources to virtual machines according to the characteristics of their tasks. In experiments with virtual machines containing varying task characteristics, it is shown that the proposed scheme provides improved I/O responsiveness when compared to existing virtual machine schedulers.

This study is designed to provide strategic inspiration in multinational institutions’ investment behavior in Cambodia. Most factors affecting the investment decisions of South Korean and Chinese institutional investors in Cambodia are investigated based on UTAUT theory. Perceived asset price and perceived asset quality proves to have a significant effect on perceived asset value, whereas perceived financial risk proves to have a significant negative effect on the relationship between perceived asset value and investment decision for the Chinese group, but not for the South Korean group. Facilitating conditions proves to have an important effect in investment decisions for the South Korean group, but not for the Chinese group. Furthermore, perceived asset value, social influence and performance expectancy prove to have a significant effect on investment decisions for both groups. Although both South Korean and Chinese institutional investors are plentiful in Cambodia, the investigation indicates that they maintain symmetry in investment competition due to their different preferences in investment objects and types. The results reinforce major implications in offering a more symmetrical and fair competition environment for both Cambodian regulators and multinational institutions.

By sampling usage intention factors of users in rural Cambodia, the study shows their effects on usage intention by integrating PPM and Reinforcement Sensitivity theories. Most of the behavioral factors are adopted from previous research. Perceived risk, reward sensitivity and knowledge prove to have significant effect on usage intention whereas regional identity does not. Regional identity proves to have moderating and negative effects on relationships between reward sensitivity, perceived risk, knowledge, and usage intention. The research results reinforce major roles for both government and microfinance institutions in considering and providing insights for future policy, management and investigations.

This paper studies empirically business intelligence and social network service used to leverage the performance of collaborative decision making. A model is developed and tested empirically to find out meaningful relationships among those variables. This paper examines the current trend of social media within business intelligence, the importance of integrating these types of features within a BI solution, and why organizations should consider this type of functionality within their current decision making infrastructures. The result also shows that social media will increase in relation to use and expand within business related BI use, developing solutions that become easy to use is essential to successful collaborative decision making adoption.

This paper presents a method of building a security vulnerability information collection and management system in order to promptly identify which types of security vulnerability are included in IoT devices.

Credit scheduler, an original Xen virtual machine scheduler, uses a boost mechanism to improve responsiveness. However, the original boost mechanism is applied only to inactive virtual machines. Because of this, if virtual machine scheduling delay time increases, the I/O performance of an active virtual machine dramatically decreases. However, when the boost mechanism of a previous credit scheduler is applied to an active virtual machine, the allocation equality can become unbalanced. This research study proposes a boost mechanism that can be applied to an active virtual machine. Evaluation of the results showed that, when compared to the previous credit scheduler, the proposed method both did not upset the fairness of the CPU allocation between the virtual machines and improved the I/O performance.

The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a tyrosine kinase receptor and plays an important role in carcinogenesis. In this study, the epidermal growth factor receptor binding peptide (EGBP) was identified using a phage display method and evaluated in U87MG cells in order to investigate the possibility to target the EGFR using an optical imaging system. Cyanine dye 5.5 (Cy5.5) was conjugated with EGBP-GGG-SC, EGBP-AOC-SC, and EGBP-AM2BA-SC. Cellular binding study of EGBP-Linker-Cy5.5 conjugates or (125)I-EGBP-Linker compounds was performed in U87MG cells. Optical imaging studies were performed in U87MG bearing mice. Three of seven clones from the 12-mer peptide library showed a specific binding affinity to rhEGFR, and they encoded the same 12 amino acid peptide sequence, FPMFNHWEQWPP. Confocal images show that the fluorescent signal of EGBP-Linker-Cy5.5 conjugates was decreased in the order: EGBP-AOC-Cy5.5≫EGBP-AM2BA-Cy5.5>EGBP-GGG-Cy5.5. EGBP-AOC-Cy5.5 appeared in cell cytoplasm and surface, and it was inhibited by free EGBP apparently. The cellular binding of EGBP-AOC-Cy5.5 exhibited a higher average radiance value than EGBP-GGG-Cy5.5 and EGBP-AM2BA-Cy5.5. Among various (125)I-EGBP-Linker compounds, EGBP-GGG showed a higher binding than other compounds. However, uptake of (125)I-EGBP-AOC was clearly inhibited by free EGBP in inhibition study. In an in vivo study, the fluorescent signal of EGBP-AOC-Cy5.5 treated mouse was mainly detected in the tumor and kidney. Among the three derivatives, EGBP-AOC-Cy5.5 was the optimized optical imaging agent for U87MG EGFR positive tumors in the animal model. This study demonstrated the EGBP-Linker-Cy5.5 conjugates may be useful as a potential EGFR target optical probe.

Radiation gastrointestinal (GI) syndrome is a major lethal toxicity that may occur after a radiation/nuclear incident. Currently, there are no prophylactic countermeasures against radiation GI syndrome lethality for first responders, military personnel, or remediation workers entering a contaminated area. The pathophysiology of this syndrome requires depletion of stem cell clonogens (SCCs) within the crypts of Lieberkühn, which are a subset of cells necessary for postinjury regeneration of gut epithelium. Recent evidence indicates that SCC depletion is not exclusively a result of DNA damage but is critically coupled to ceramide-induced endothelial cell apoptosis within the mucosal microvascular network. Here we show that ceramide generated on the surface of endothelium coalesces to form ceramide-rich platforms that transmit an apoptotic signal. Moreover, we report the generation of 2A2, an anti-ceramide monoclonal antibody that binds to ceramide to prevent platform formation on the surface of irradiated endothelial cells of the murine GI tract. Consequently, we found that 2A2 protected against endothelial apoptosis in the small intestinal lamina propria and facilitated recovery of crypt SCCs, preventing the death of mice from radiation GI syndrome after high radiation doses. As such, we suggest that 2A2 represents a prototype of a new class of anti-ceramide therapeutics and an effective countermeasure against radiation GI syndrome mortality.

Portal sites have been providing diverse services to attract new users and retain existing customers. Recently, they also added new services and increased quality of the services they provide to secure more customers. It is, however, not clear how people actually react to such activities. We wanted to understand the mechanism associated with users` continued usage intention of current Portal site. We assumed search, e-mail, information, community, e-commerce services as key services provided by most Portal sites and considered valuable by many customers. The quality of these services may directly affect users` continued usage intention. However, we can also assume that attractive alternatives and switching cost may have some influence on users` continued usage intention. Therefore, in this study, key variables pertaining to the quality of key services provided by Portal sites, attractive alternatives, and switching cost were examined to explain the dynamics of users` continued usage intention. An empirical study based on 891 survey responses showed the importance of the quality of key services for users` continued usage intention. Switching cost also demonstrated strong association with users` continued usage intention. However, attractive alternatives did not show a significant association with users` continued usage intention. We also found that the variable attractive alternatives moderated the relationship between the quality of search service and users` continued usage intention and the relationship between the quality of information service and users` continued usage intention. On the other hand, the variable switching cost showed a moderating effect on the relationship between the quality of e-mail service and users` continued usage intention and the relationship between the quality of community service and users` continued usage intention. This study implies that Portal sites need to make efforts not only to improve the quality of key services but also to consider attractiveness of other Portal sites` services and switching cost to secure more customers.

Mesothelin (MSLN) is an antigen overexpressed in several malignancies, including mesothelioma and ovarian and pancreatic adenocarcinoma. It has been studied as a marker for diagnosis and a target for immunotherapy. Here, we adopted a bispecific antibody format for recruiting cytotoxic T cells to kill tumor cells. MG1122 is a novel, whole IgG-like bispecific antibody which recognizes CD3 on T cells and MSLN on tumor cells. MG1122 induced effective killing of MSLN-expressing tumor cells. This response was associated with robust activation of T cells as shown by nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) activation, CD25 and CD69 upregulation and increased cytokine release. In addition, using a live cell analysis system, we found that levels of activated caspase 3/7 were amplified in the tumor cells by MG1122 treatment. Although MSLN is a surface antigen, it also exists as a secreted isoform, which can lead to tumor evasion against MSLN targeting antibodies. However, despite the high concentration of soluble MSLN, MG1122 still effectively bound and showed strong killing effects against MSLN-expressing tumor cells. Taken together, our MSLN/CD3 bispecific antibody, MG1122 offers a promising opportunity to redirect T cells to kill MSLN-expressing cancer cells. A new conformational neutralizable epitope is created on heptocyte growth factor (HGF), when it interacts with its receptor, cMet. By immunizing rabbits with HGF-cMet complex, we successfully generated a monoclonal antibody (SFN68) that inhibits HGF-cMet interaction, and blocks the biological function mediated by HGF. To define the epitope, we screened out an epitope-mimicking peptide, KSLSRHDHIHHH, from a phage display of combinatorial peptide library. In molecular mimicry this peptide bound to cMet and inhibited HGF-cMet interaction. No humoral response was induced to this epitope-mimicking peptide when immunization was done with HGF alone.

Through recent developments in hardware, it has become possible to interpret user intent by integrating biological information recorded through various biometric devices. However, because multiple devices that acquire biological information have different OSs, data transmission protocols, and arrival times, it is not easy to collect and analyze biological information in real-time. Our proposed method solves the issue of different OS and data transmission protocols. To realize the same, the proposed synchronization framework implements a biometric information priority and algorithm. The implemented framework is able to analyze and process data in real-time in order to recognize user intention information.

This paper exposes the original Xen credit scheduler. In some case, the original credit scheduler results in low responsiveness. The credit scheduler is a proportional fair share central processing unit (CPU) scheduler and provides CPU fairness. However, in contrast with fine CPU fairness, the responsiveness is insufficient in the case of CPU intensive workloads. We modify the Xen credit scheduler to obtain an improved response time because VM scheduling significantly affects the responsiveness of virtual machines (VMs) in virtualization environments. The supposed scheduling boosts a VM with a conditional boost mechanism to maintain CPU fairness. The experimental results show that the supposed scheduling technique offers better responsiveness for a VM than the original credit scheduler.

c-Met is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in tumor cell growth, invasion, metastases and angiogenesis. Overexpression of c-Met is frequently observed in several tumor types. Here, we report the in vitro cell-binding properties and biodistribution and SPECT/CT imaging in glioma (U87MG) xenograft-bearing mice of (125)I-labeled c-Met-binding peptides (cMBPs) including analogs conjugated to amino acid and aliphatic carbon linkers. In vitro assays showed that the peptide without any linker and those with GGG and 8-aminooctanoic acid linkers had low cellular internalization and that IC(50) values of peptides were 1.5 microM, 65 nM and 85.3 nM, respectively. Biodistribution studies showed the GGG-containing peptide had higher tumor uptake and a higher tumor-to-blood activity concentration ratio than other receptor-binding ligands. SPECT/CT studies with a dedicated small-animal imaging system were performed in U87MG-bearing athymic mice. Although U87MG tumor xenografts could be visualized by SPECT/micro-CT using the various (125)I labeled cMBPs, image contrast and overall quality were unremarkable.

This study proposes a method that measures the stability of networks by converting nodes with higher priorities into virtual articulation nodes. Further, although they're not articulation nodes, by considering critical nodes such as routers connected to external networks or servers that assume vital operations to networks, we are able to improve the monitoring of major nodes in networks and reallocate those nodes when designing networks in order to remove potential risk factors. We will elaborate on the method of creating virtual articulation nodes using virtual nodes and apply them to network topologies to perform a stability analysis through simulation.
