Chinese ancient book catalogs have persisted for over two millennia, serving as ancient knowledge organization systems and cultural heritage of great academic value. This article introduces the concept of "book cluster," a novel approach to studying catalog classification evolution, offering a meso-level perspective that bridges books and categories. Drawing from computational methods, we identify clusters of books with similar categorization trajectories, enabling more efficient and intuitive exploration of knowledge organization trends. We review existing research on catalog classification, highlighting the traditional qualitative analysis and emerging computational methods. We then present our data source and processing methods. The concept of book cluster is defined, along with the algorithm for cluster identification and feature extraction. A case study demonstrates the potential of the book cluster concept in analyzing classification changes and knowledge inheritance. Additionally, we introduce an online analytical platform for further exploration. Through computational analysis of book clusters, we gain insights into the evolution of ancient book recording, circulation, and academic contexts. Book clusters offer clues about the content of lost books. This research lays the groundwork for future iterations. Within the ever-shifting domain of technological advancement, the quest for automatic taxonomy construction is intensifying. This paper confronts the nuanced challenges of distilling synonym and hyponym relationships from diverse, domain-specific scientific literature, treating it as a domain-level relation extraction problem and resulting in the creation of a hierarchical taxonomy through arborescence generation. The proposed Multi-Scale Identity Connection (MSIC) model excels in capturing inter-entity relationships across various scales, demonstrating superior empirical performance compared to existing relation extraction models. To enhance practicality, a two-stage optimization is introduced to improve efficiency without compromising performance. Additionally, the Depth-prioritized Maximum Spanning Arborescence (DMSA) algorithm has been proposed as a highly efficient strategy for generating an informative and well-structured taxonomy tree. We annotated a concise dataset to train and validate the MSIC model, subsequently applying it to a substantial domain-specific dataset for taxonomy induction. The experimental findings indicate that the DMSA efficiently constructs an information-rich taxonomy tree structure by leveraging extensive domain-specific scientific literature. This article examines the history of encyclopedias in North America and Britain during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries to foreground wider shifts in knowledge formation and organization caused by a growing perception of information overload. Tracing the Enlightenment manifestations of this concept, which is more typically seen as characteristic of twenty-first century digital culture, the article considers how attempts by Adam Ferguson and Adam Smith to establish an intellectual model of the division of labor in Scotland migrated to and were reworked in the early United States. This transition is explored through analysis of the Philadelphian publisher Thomas Dobson's Encyclopaedia; or a Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, and Miscellaneous Literature (1788–98), which reprinted and added to the third edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica (1787–97). Dobson's Encyclopaedia is situated in the context of: older traditions of synoptic writing practiced by figures like Cotton Mather, which retained a belief in the possibility of all-encompassing knowledge collection; emerging experiments by eighteenth-century encyclopedia makers with presentation and structure, designed to better order complex bodies of information and accommodate new data; and current debates around information democracy and management centered on Wikipedia, which indicate key points of change and continuity in the extended history of the encyclopedia form's struggle to be both comprehensive and up-to-date. This paper examines one way that colonial logic is embedded in western academic practices. It argues that the conventional dichotomy between primary and secondary sources in the humanities and social sciences reflects western monocultural hegemony in its application to non-western knowledges. In these fields, primary sources are treated as objects, analysed as evidence, and used as data, while secondary sources get to act as subjects and are engaged with as experts. This paper identifies a problematic dynamic where Indigenous authorities whose expertise does not align with western academic norms are categorised and used as primary sources, thereby stripping them of their agency and subjectivity. Their knowledge is extracted, commodified, and appropriated for the benefit of the west. Further, the paper critiques the role of librarians and archivists in perpetuating this colonial logic through their instruction practices and professional frameworks and standards, especially around primary source literacy and evaluating authority. These practices promulgate monocultural tools through which knowledge is extracted and evaluated. This paper calls on librarians to critically assess their role in maintaining colonial structures that continue to marginalise Indigenous Knowledge.

The current research was conducted with the aim of applying knowledge management in promoting and improving the educational status of managers and employees of Islamic Azad University, Bandar Abbas branch. Methodology: This research is of an applied type, which was carried out in a survey and descriptive manner. The statistical population includes all managers and employees of Islamic Azad University, Bandar Abbas branch, according to Cochran's formula, 15 managers, 93 female employees and 107 male employees were considered as samples. The sampling method in both groups of managers and employees was random-stratified. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. In this research, descriptive methods were used to analyze the data obtained from the questionnaires. At the descriptive level, using characteristics such as abundance was dealt with the analysis of the characteristics of the society and Kolmogorov-Smirnov's normal test were used to examine the hypotheses, binomial test. Findings: The findings showed that knowledge management is effective in promoting and improving the educational status of managers and employees of Islamic Azad University, Bandar Abbas branch. Also, creating knowledge with an average of 40.09, absorbing knowledge with an average of 26.74, and organizing knowledge with an average of 36.81 have a confirming role in promoting and improving the educational status of managers and employees of Islamic Azad University, Bandar Abbas Branch. Conclusion: Information sharing, collection of professional experiences, organizational interaction at different levels of the university along with creativity of methods and application of information systems play an important role in the development of knowledge management system. Better understanding of knowledge management by employees and specialists, holding knowledge management training courses and workshops, using a comprehensive knowledge management measurement system, creating a knowledge base to organize organizational information, launching a system of suggestions to strengthen the educational process and benefit from organizational experiences, using technologies Up-to-date for optimal management of organizational information and continuous assessment of knowledge management status is one of the suggestions of this research.

But they also make it difficult to strike a balance between the right to free speech and the requirement for content monitoring. Purpose: The purpose of this study is twofold: first, to provide a nuanced understanding of the information concept that encapsulates both its universal foundations and context-dependent intricacies, and second, to propose a theoretical framework that integrates these diverse viewpoints, thereby contributing to the theoretical discourse and practical applications in information science/studies (IS). Design/methodology/approach: The aim of this paper is to explore the relationship between universalism and pluralism in connection with semiotics. The paper adopts a conceptual approach based on semiotics to address the long-standing debate over the definition of information in IS. By engaging with two foundational semiotic theories—C.S. Peirce's pragmatic semiotics and Ferdinand de Saussure's structuralist semiotics – the research seeks to bridge the conflicting perspectives of universalism and pluralism within the field. Findings: The findings reveal that Peirce's semiotics, with its universalist core, views information as dynamic and shaped by context, while Saussure's approach, which is rooted in linguistics, emphasizes the relational aspects of sign systems and connects them to pluralism. This comparative analysis facilitates a broad understanding of information that transcends the limitations of singular perspectives. In conclusion, the paper seeks to demonstrate that the integration of universalist and pluralist perspectives through semiotics offers a more holistic approach to the study of information in IS. It contributes to the field by suggesting that the tension between these perspectives is not only reconcilable but also essential for a richer and more complete understanding of information. This theoretical foundation paves the way for future research and practical advancements in IS and advocates for approaches that recognize the complexity and multifaceted nature of information. Research limitations/implications: The study engages with theoretical frameworks, predominantly semiotic theories by C.S. Peirce and Ferdinand de Saussure. While this provides a deep conceptual understanding, the lack of empirical data may limit the practical applicability of the findings. Introduction: Despite numerous successful cases, there are still some challenges in using analytical quality by design (AQbD) for the development of analytical methods. Knowledge organization helps to enhance the objectivity of risk assessment, reduce the number of preliminary exploratory experiments, identify potential critical method parameters (CMPs) and their scope. Objective: In the present study, we aimed to develop a simple, rapid, and robust analytical method for detecting phenolic compounds in Xiaochaihu capsule intermediates utilizing knowledge organization. Methods: Knowledge organization and AQbD were combined to obtain the initial analytical conditions through knowledge collection, extraction, reorganization, and analysis. The quantitative relationship between critical method attributes (CMAs) and CMPs was then established by a definitive screening design. The method operable design region was calculated using an exhaustive Monte Carlo approach based on the probability of reaching the standard. Robustness investigation and methodological validation were finally performed. Results: Analytical target profiles, CMAs, potential CMPs, and initial analytical conditions were initially identified, and the optimized ranges of operating parameters were obtained. A UHPLC method was successfully established for the analysis of phenolic compounds in ginger–ginger pinellia percolate, and the method validation outcomes were also satisfactory. Conclusion: The developed method can be a reliable means to detect the phenolic compounds of Xiaochaihu capsule intermediates. Knowledge organization provides a new approach for making better use of prior knowledge, significantly enhancing the efficiency of analytical method development. The approach is versatile and can be similarly applied to the development of other methods. This study employed an AQbD process based on knowledge organization to develop an analytical method for detecting phenolic compounds in Xiaochaihu capsule intermediate, improving the efficiency of conducting single‐factor experiments and identifying potential CMPs in the early stage of method development. Leveraging principles from knowledge organization, thesaurus construction, and digital platform development, the TemaTres web application emerged as the primary tool for constructing this thesaurus. The study's results showed that 2,042 principal words related to the traditional common culture of the Greater Mekong Subregion were compiled and classified into terms for each of the seven deep levels. Each term was accompanied by essential metadata, including broader and narrower terms, related terms, cross-references, and scope notes. This rich dataset empowered semantic search capabilities across diverse applications and web services, providing access to knowledge pertaining to the traditional common culture of the Greater Mekong Subregion and contributing to a deeper understanding of this cultural domain. The key feature of a knowledge formation is that it finds a way to finance the production of knowledge. We are accustomed to thinking of universities as the standard knowledge formation of modern science, social science, and the humanities. But this was not true before the twentieth century and is decreasingly true in the twenty-first. The RAND Corporation, which evolved from its military origins, was a model alternative to this model. As Dayé shows, RAND produced ideas that would never have been developed in the university: two "prospection" techniques, Delphi and Political Gaming. It also created careers outside the university for brilliant misfits who savored intellectual delights and relevance that the university would have crushed. Emergence can be described as a relationship between entities at different levels of organization, that looks especially puzzling at the transitions between the major levels of matter, life, cognition and culture. Indeed, each major level is dependent on the lower one not just for its constituents, but in some more formal way. A passage by François Jacob suggests that all such evolutionary transitions are associated with the appearance of some form of memory–genetic, neural or linguistic respectively. This implies that they have an informational nature. Based on this idea, we propose a general model of informational systems understood as combinations of modules taken from a limited inventory. Some informational systems are "semantic" models, that is reproduce features of their environment. Among these, some are also "informed", that is have a pattern derived from a memory subsystem. The levels and components of informed systems can be listed to provide a general framework for knowledge organization, of relevance in both philosophical ontology and applied information services. Objective: The library, once a silent repository of knowledge, is undergoing a digital metamorphosis. At the heart of this transformation is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). Traditionally, cataloging and classifying books was a meticulous, labor-intensive task requiring deep subject knowledge and adherence to complex classification systems. However, the advent of AI is revolutionizing this process, promising greater efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility. This research presents a pilot study on the potential use of AI for semi-automatic subject indexing, cataloging, and classification of books. Materials and Methods: To collect the data, first we searched for open access books in the Directory of Open Access Books and OAPEN (Online library of open access books). Four books in English were chosen for the current study. The book titles were searched in the Library of Congress Online Catalog to discover the subject headings, the Library of Congress Classification number and the Dewey Decimal Classification number assigned to each book, collecting the necessary information. Third, we searched for each book in ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini, using necessary prompts to collect the data. Results: The results indicate that the degree of cataloging and classification consistency is low. The cataloging and classification consistency are seen as the measure of the similarity of reaction of different machines and human beings processing the same book. Conclusion: By automating routine tasks, improving classification and cataloging accuracy, and enhancing metadata creation, AI is transforming the way libraries organize and share knowledge. Classification of birds is the area that is quite complex and involved such a lot of varieties that demands the correct as well as the professional organization of the information. This study addresses the problem of semantic interoperability in the bird categorization process by means of constructing an ontology which covers all the words used in taxonomic descriptions. The paper exploits XML/RDF standards for semantic web compatibility and Open Link Virtuoso SPARQL Query Editor that enables simple interaction with its tools and visualization in the process of querying and presentation of results. Attempt to develop a specific ontology for bird identification for the purpose of optimizing the accessibility and retrieval of heterogeneous bird-oriented data that ultimately help in building effective knowledge management system in this field. This article outlines essential best practices for retro-digitized dictionary projects, using the ongoing MORDigital project (DOI 10.54499/PTDC/LLT-LIN/6841/2020) as a case study. The MORDigital project focuses on digitally transforming the historically significant Portuguese Morais dictionary's first three editions (1789, 1813, 1823). While the primary objective is to create faithful digital versions of these renowned dictionaries, MORDigital stands out by going beyond the mere adoption of established best practices. Instead, it reflects on the choices made throughout the process, providing insights into the decision-making process. The key topics emphasized include (1) the establishment of a robust data model; (2) the refinement of metadata; (3) the implementation of consistent identifiers; and (4) the enhancement of encoding techniques; additionally exploring the issue of structuring domain labelling. The article aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse on best practices in retro-digitized dictionary projects and their implications for data preservation and knowledge organization. Purpose: Organizing Indigenous knowledge in libraries, archives, and museums with conventional methods of organization, cataloging, and classification is not possible due to the lack of terms and vocabulary of Indigenous knowledge and the lack of written sources of this knowledge. To enter indigenous knowledge that is the result of centuries of local people's experience, it seems appropriate to use ontology in the semantic web. This article aims to discuss and investigate the necessity of using ontologies to store and retrieve Indigenous knowledge of agriculture by studying existing ontologies in the field of agriculture and Indigenous knowledge. Method: This study employed an evidence-based systematic review methodology. The literature search was conducted using a defined set of keywords in the Google Scholar database without restrictions on publication date. To enhance subject differentiation, keywords were separated and combined in pairs. The search yielded 12 articles for the term "ontology and indigenous knowledge," 83 articles for "agricultural ontology," and 143 articles for "agricultural indigenous knowledge." A total of 238 articles were retrieved from the English search using the three key terms "Agricultural Ontology," "Agricultural Indigenous Knowledge," and "Indigenous Knowledge Ontology." Six additional articles were included through manual search, and nine articles were added following a search using the Persian keywords "ontology," "knowledge organization," and "local knowledge organization." Ultimately, 37 articles were selected and reviewed based on a comprehensive evaluation of their abstracts, findings, and relevance to the research topic. Findings: A comprehensive review of the literature revealed three prominent and widely recognized ontologies: Agricultural Ontology Services (AOS), Plant Ontology (PO), and Crop Ontology (CO). Additionally, the study indicates that countries such as Spain, China, Iran, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, India, and Pakistan have undertaken initiatives to design and implement ontologies for indigenous agricultural knowledge. Furthermore, the analysis of retrieved articles suggests that Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and India have made significant strides in this domain. Conclusion: While traditional methods, such as educational and promotional printed brochures, can effectively disseminate indigenous knowledge to a localized audience, disseminating this valuable knowledge globally necessitates its integration into the semantic web. This entails providing seamless access to indigenous agricultural knowledge resources on the web, enabling users to retrieve and utilize this knowledge through semantic search. Ontologies, specialized tools within the semantic web, offer an ideal solution for organizing, storing, and retrieving indigenous knowledge effectively. These ontologies categorize topics within the domain of indigenous agriculture, defining the logical relationships between them, and thereby maintaining the intricate interrelationships inherent in this knowledge system. By incorporating indigenous agricultural knowledge into the semantic web and utilizing ontologies, we can achieve global dissemination of this invaluable resource, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of indigenous agricultural practices and their contributions to sustainable food production and resilience. The aim of this research was to investigate the elements of the indexing policy used by professional cataloguers in a university library system in the Amazon region. The methodology is exploratory and case study, using a questionnaire as an instrument and applied to 36 university libraries of a federal institution. The results obtained from the 12 participating libraries identified the elements of the policy: human resources, clientele, subject coverage, selection and acquisition of source documents, indexing process, document language, level of completeness, search strategy and system evaluation, as well as the absence of an indexing policy formalised in an indexing manual. It is concluded that the development of an indexing policy for the library system could help to systematise the indexing process and optimise retrieval, proposing reflections on indexing policy in the context of the Brazilian Amazon.

Objective: With the increase in the availability of data on the web, the number of research studies in the digital environment, especially those using data from cultural heritage, is also growing in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. In this sense, this article aims to investigate the challenges faced by Knowledge Organization in the context of Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage. For this purpose, publications in the area of "Information and Computing Sciences" in the Dimensions database are analyzed. Methods: This study is qualitative, descriptive and exploratory, with data collection performed on the Dimensions database. After exporting to spreadsheets, bibliometric maps were created in VOSViewer using data from 477 articles. The analysis allowed the identification of 5 clusters, of which 2 address challenges for Knowledge Organization. Results: Among the main challenges identified are the management of heterogeneous data from Cultural Heritage, which are fragmented across several repositories of smaller projection and scope. The digital representation of Cultural Heritage data is another important challenge, both in terms of machine processing and human user experience. These problems make it difficult to contextualize and enrich information for and by users, requiring integration and interoperability of the repositories' collections. The integration of heterogeneous datasets of cultural heritage is a common problem in Digital Humanities. The results indicate that current solutions are not sufficient to handle the complexity of the data. Conclusions: The results indicate that current solutions are not sufficient to cope with the complexity of data, which highlights the need to identify, investigate, and produce knowledge about these challenges, providing visibility for them to be addressed and tackled. Data integration, the use of controlled vocabularies, and Linked Data represent important processes and technologies for promoting semantic interoperability and significant advances in the areas of Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage. As a future work, the objective is to focus on initiatives that deal with data integration and to continue investigating Knowledge Organization in the context of Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage. Introduction: In the context of Knowledge Organization (KO) and the archival field, the use of thesauri emerges as an essential and complementary tool in addressing the inherent challenges of information access. Objective: Objective: This study presents a proposal for the development of a micro-thesaurus aimed at the "Police Inquiries Series" of historical documents from the Public Archives of the State of Pará (APEP), using the software THESA - Applied Semantic Thesaurus as a tool. This initiative aimed to create a more comprehensive and detailed model to represent the organic-functional information of the archives. Methodology: The research unfolded in three well-defined phases: an initial exploration phase, followed by fieldwork execution, and finally, the analysis and discussion of the obtained data. The research was based on texts from Information Science and related disciplines, focusing particularly on studies that deal with the intersection of KO and Archival Science. Results: The study demonstrates that the microthesaurus developed for the "Police Inquiries Series" within APEP plays a significant role in the effective management of the controlled vocabulary for this document series. This paper delves into the complexities and theoretical underpinnings of knowledge organization systems (KOS), focusing on domain analysis and facet analysis as methodologies, such as improving the Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH). The study repeats a former critique of the LCSH and argues for the incorporation of facet and domain analysis to enhance its utility and academic rigor. Facet analysis, although well-established, is critiqued for its rationalist philosophy and lack of empirical grounding. Domain analysis is presented as a complementary approach that addresses these gaps by considering empirical, historical, philosophical, and pragmatic issues. To any given system, the paper emphasizes that KO systems are not neutral; they reflect underlying theoretical paradigms that must be understood for effective classification. The study concludes by advocating for interdisciplinary research and broader cooperation among knowledge organization professionals, philosophers, and subject specialists to develop more robust and academically rigorous KOS. Among the challenges in organizing ethnoknowledge is adhering to the theoretical methodological principle of literary warrant. This paper seeks to build a terminological tool that meets both the principle of literary warrant and the decolonial perspective. In Mário de Andrade's work Macunaíma, we identified the connection with an ethno- literature that served us as a literary warrant for constructing a notional system grounded in a decolonial perspective. The corpus was compiled from the glossary produced by M. Cavalcanti Proença. Proença's research drew from Tupinologist sources, comprising records of an ethno-literature previously unknown to us. These records are rooted in narratives of the once-forgotten General Language of the Amazon, the Nheengatu. Proença's sources also include the Brazilian South Americanist Capistrano de Abreu, and the German ethnologist Theodor Koch-Grünberg. The research identified 2112 entries consisting of terms and synonyms. Each entry was accompanied by a definition that considered both the semantic aspect and the historical context. Collectively, these entries grant us with the depth and richness of Brazilian vocabulary at its roots. Despite encountering representation challenges akin to those in interdisciplinary spaces, the Macunaíma's Decolonial Glossary will contribute to the documentation of the National Inventory of Linguistic Diversity. The increasing prevalence of multimorbidity requires new theoretical models and educational approaches to develop physicians' ability to manage multimorbidity patients. The Health Issues Network (HIN) is an educational approach based on a graphical depiction of the evolutions over time of the concurrent health issues of a patient and of their interactions. From a theoretical point of view, the HIN approach is rooted in Prigogine's vision of the "becoming" of the events and in the concept of knowledge organization, intended as the process of storing and structuring of information in a learner's mind. The HIN approach allows to design clinical exercises to foster learners' ability to detect evolutionary paths and interactions among health issues. Recent findings of neuroscience support the expectation that interpreting, completing, and creating diagrams depicting complex clinical cases improves the "sense of time", as a fundamental competence in the management of multimorbidity. The application of the HIN approach is expected to decrease the risk of errors in the management of multimorbidity patients. The traditional intellectual property law course cannot adapt to the needs of cultivating students’ active learning ability, practical ability and innovation ability in the digital era due to the teaching concept, teaching means, teaching method and assessment form. This study proposes an information-based teaching model, which builds a course knowledge organization model using a formal expression language, through atomized knowledge points and knowledge granularity. The k-means algorithm has been improved from the perspective of center selection and constraint rules to adapt to the characteristics of the intellectual property law course and complete the clustering and extraction of knowledge points. The frequent item-based method analyzes the students’ answers and generates the corresponding association rules to further develop the analysis of learning situations. For a college law school study, it was found that 925 simultaneous wrong answers and 8152 simultaneous correct answers were successfully mined using clustering. In applying this college students’ evaluation scores of this information technology teaching in terms of content design, presentation design, structural design and relationship design of knowledge clustering are 0.796, 0.818, 0.788, 0.794, and overall good results are achieved.

Standards for research data can be a mystifying topic for both researchers and data professionals. A common source of confusion is that they are multipurpose: standards can (and should) be applied to both primary data and metadata, enabling a wide range of functions from the search features in a repository to the integration of disparate data sources. This paper reviews examples of classificatory approaches used by both librarians and researchers to describe data standards. This literature is synthesized into a classificatory matrix that can be used to map different types of standards. The matrix is constructed around two organizing principles: purpose (finding or using data) and type of information controlled (meaning or syntax). The objective of this classificatory exercise is to encourage further discussion about the misunderstandings between researchers and data support professionals and to spur further development of the educational resources needed to improve understanding and use of data standards.

Facets are widely encountered in information and knowledge organization, but there is much disparity in the use and understanding of concepts such as "facet," "facet analysis," and "faceted classification." The paper traces the history of these ideas and how they have been employed in different contexts. What may be termed the classical school of faceted classification is given some prominence, through the ideas of Ranganathan and the Classification Research Group, but other interpretations are also explored. Attention is paid not only to the idea of what facet analysis is, and what purpose it serves, but also the language utilized to describe and explain it. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

[Purpose/Significance] Literature classification is a fundamental task in library and information service, which is of great value for information resource management, and literature retrieval and acquisition. Deep learning-based literature classification methods are the current mainstream methods in text classification, which employ neural networks to model and use the textual content for literature classification. This approach only utilizes the information of the literature itself, but ignores the knowledge of the association between the literature. By observing the data, we found that literature in the same category tends to share more keyword information. The literature can build association networks through keywords to form structural relationships between literature. We attempt to utilize this structural in-formation to improve the performance of literature classification. [Methods/Process] This paper proposes a method that can model the structural representation of the literature and employ this representation to enhance traditional literature classification methods. Specifi-cally, we first constructed a large-scale keyword dictionary based on the collected data from about 930,000 documents. Second, we extracted the keyword set from the titles and abstracts of papers by a two-way maximum matching algorithm and constructed the keyword-literature graph data with the literature and keywords as nodes and the inclusion relationship between the documents and keywords as edges. The literature was connected with each other by keywords. Furthermore, we employed graph convolutional neural network to model the literature graph and learn the representation of literature and keywords in the keyword-literature graph. The literature representation generated by graph neural network contained the structural relationships between the literature. In addition, we employed Bert+BiLSTM to model the textual content representation of literature. Finally, the structural and textual representations of the literature were concatenated, and the classification of the literature was performed based on this representation. [Results/Conclusions] We constructed a literature classification dataset containing 423 classes and divided the training set, validation set and test set according to the ratio of 8:1:1. We conducted literature classification experiments on this dataset. The experimental results show that the structural information of literature can effectively enhance the performance of traditional literature classification methods. The results of the stripping experiments also show that the structural information alone is insufficient for the literature classification task. Through detailed analysis of the error data, we found that the model still has problems in handling some less frequent keywords and concepts. In the future, we plan to use small-sample learning methods to solve the classification problem for literature categories with less data.

With the explosive popularity of ChatGPT and the development of AI generated content (AIGC), the new generation of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has triggered people's imagination and discussion about the production mode of digital content and the industry transformation. At the same time, it also prompted more scholars' thinking beyond embracing the technological changes in the field information resource management. Based on this, we invited 6 experts to carry out related discussions from the perspective of the disciplinary construction and development of information resource management. (1) AIGC and the field of library and information service: The essence of the rapid development of AI technology lies in the improvement of people's ability in knowledge acquisition brought by the continuous enrichment of data resources and the improvement of quality. The professionals in the field of library and information service should fully understand their value and their role, give full play to the advantages of data resources in libraries, effectively utilize their expertise in knowledge organization and management, actively promote research and development of AI technology, and contribute their wisdom and solutions. (2) The disruptive change brought about by AIGC: The emergence of ChatGPT has brought subversive challenges to the library and information service field. The professionals in this field should actively promote the transformation of the AI era, seize the opportunity, and explore new growth points around knowledge production, resource discovery, knowledge relevance and scientific research ethics. In addition, they should give play to the advantages of our country's political system and intensive development policies, promote the transformation of information services to knowledge content generation service, and raise the knowledge productivity of the whole society. (3) AIGC and cultural heritage resources: ChatGPT has ushered in an era of model-driven content production and carry out innovation in the mode of intelligent service of cultural heritage resources supported by AIGC. In addition, this paper also analyzes the copyright ownership, real-time, interpretability, verifiability, trustworthiness, algorithm bias and cognitive misdirection of large-scale AIGCs. In the future, universal value rationality such as public order and good customs should be endowed with the AIGC, and the paradigm change in the field of cultural heritage should be actively welcomed and promoted. (4) AIGC and researches on intelligent information processing of ancient books: While ChatGPT plays a positive role in promoting intelligent information processing of ancient books and promoting cultural transmission and civilization inheritance, it also brings challenges in cultural value and national security, content security and information governance, information literacy and humanistic education. It is necessary to make efforts in the aspects like providing higher quality and larger scale of precise processing of ancient books in the future, so as to build a scientific, comprehensive and systematic system of information security and digital ethics. (5) AIGC and intelligent tool revolution: This paper analyzes the three elements of big data, giant model and huge computing power in the development of AIGC technology, as well as the four development directions of large and complete data volume, fine granularity of data analysis, multi-source and multi-mode semantic integration of semantic association, human-computer integration of information services and intelligent interaction. It is pointed out that AIGC will bring about the paradigm change of content production in three aspects: production innovation, automatic generation and ecological cultivation. At the same time, it will also bring challenges in technology monopoly and hegemony, network information security technology integration and other aspects. (6) AIGC and library: Based on the analysis of the core technology innovation trend in the ChatGPT model expansion, data enhancement and model fusion, this paper demonstrates the necessity and crisis of using ChatGPT in libraries. In addition, from five aspects of intelligent management system, retrieval system, recommendation system, question answering system and search engine, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the use of GPT in library service integration and innovation promotion.

Although knowledge management relying on data from social networks has become an integral part of common practices, there needs to be a well-defined body of knowledge that explicitly addresses the process and the value generated. Sustainable knowledge management practices, which promote responsible and ethical knowledge sharing between different stakeholders, can also be facilitated through social media. This can foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation while considering the social implications of knowledge sharing. The main goal of this study is to critically and holistically discuss the impact of social media analysis in the knowledge management process holistically and maximize its value in a given context. More concretely, we conducted a systematic literature review (2012–2022) based on the PRISMA guidelines. We first approached the ideal phases of the knowledge management process and then discussed key issues and challenges from an application perspective. Overall, the study points out the positive impact of social network analysis on knowledge sharing, creativity and productivity, knowledge formulation, building trust, and cognitive capital. Additionally, value is provided in knowledge acquisition by simplifying and massively gathering information, reducing uncertainty and ambiguity, and organizing knowledge through storage, retrieval, and classification practices. At an application level, such knowledge may improve the quality of services and encourage creativity. This paper examines global trends and visualization in Knowledge Organization research, concentrating in particular on the literature that has appeared in journal articles, editorial materials, conference proceeding, during 2001 to 2020. Data for this study was assembled from Web of Science (WoS) web database, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E). The query of searching were "Knowledge Organization" OR "Organization of Knowledge" OR "Organization of Information" OR" Information Organization." In total, 3909 documents were retrieved and analyzed by various bibliometric metrices, and appropriate data presentation tools were planned by using Biblioshiny, HistCite, Citespace and VOSviewer software. Taken as a whole, the preliminary results that the content of Knowledge Organization literature has shifted since the advent web based environment. To provide deeper picture of the KO publishing and citation trends different bibliometric parameter were used to explore the leading countries, authorship, organizations, topics, and collaborations. Results found that the countries with relatively higher impact journals were USA followed by England and Canada. Among organizations, National University Singapore (Singapore) was found leading impact indices. Hjorland B. was found as most productive author. Among journals, "The Journal of Knowledge Management" contributed the most publications. 'Knowledge Management' was the most frequently and representative authors keyword, Three-Factor Analysis (Country, Keyword and Organization) showed top three keywords ('Knowledge Management', 'Knowledge' and 'Knowledge Sharing') had strong relation with top 10 countries and Organizations. Country collaboration showed a major collaboration between the fringes of USA and emerged as leading collaborator with China.
