Ziel der vorliegenden Masterarbeit ist es, den historischen Quellenwert von Ego-Dokumenten zur Zeit des Nationalsozialismus unter dem Schwerpunkt der quellentheoretischen Auseinandersetzung zu diskutieren, ein reichhaltiges und überblickbares Inventarium von derzeitig verfügbaren Sammlungen von Ego-Dokumenten zur Geschichte des Nationalsozialismus zu liefern und anschließend eine Analyse von ausgewählten Ego-Dokumenten vorzunehmen, die sich auf die Methodik der Quellenkritik inklusive formulierter Fragestellungen und Aspekten, die die damalige Zeit begleiteten, stützt. Die vorliegende Masterarbeit lässt sich somit in insgesamt drei Teile gliedern. Im ersten Abschnitt steht die quellentheoretische Auseinandersetzung im Mittelpunkt. Es wird versucht, einen Überblick über die Quellengattung zu geben. Daran anschließend erfolgt eine Begriffsbestimmung hinsichtlich Ego-Dokumenten. Ein weiteres Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit dem Diskurs in der Geschichtswissenschaft, der wiederum um die Begriffsdefinition Ego-Dokumente entstanden ist. Anschließend wird der grundsätzliche historische Quellenwert solcher Ego-Dokumente für die Geschichtswissenschaft veranschaulicht, um im Anschluss daran präziser auf deren Bedeutung sowie auf die Wichtigkeit von lebensgeschichtlichen Erzählungen und Zeitzeug*innen einzugehen. Der zweite Teil befasst sich mit der Erfassung von Sammlungen von Ego-Dokumenten. Es wird versucht, ein aussagekräftiges und übersichtliches Inventar von Ego-Dokumenten-Sammlungen zu erstellen, das sich hinsichtlich Zeitspanne auf den Zweiten Weltkrieg fokussiert. Der dritte Teil der Arbeit widmet sich der konkreten Analyse von ausgewählten Ego-Dokumenten. In Verbindung damit stehen auch Fragen, die an die diversen Quellen zu stellen sind und die zugleich auch Teilaspekte der durchzuführenden Analyse bilden. Das abschließende Fazit soll die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse sowohl widerspiegeln als auch in Bezug zu den in der Masterarbeit dargelegten Problemstellungen setzen. The aim of this master's thesis was to discuss the historical source value of first-person documents on the National Socialist period with a focus on source theory, to provide a rich and surveyable inventory of currently available collections of first-person documents on the history of National Socialism, and then to conduct an analysis of selected first-person documents based on the methodology of source criticism including formulated questions and aspects that accompanied the period.This master's thesis can thus be divided into a total of three parts. In the first section, the focus is on the source-theoretical discussion. It attempts to give an overview of the source genre. This is followed by a definition of first-person documents. A further chapter deals with the discourse in historical science, which in turn has developed around the definition of first-person documents. Subsequently, the fundamental historical source value of such first-person documents for historiography is illustrated, in order to then deal more precisely with their significance as well as with the importance of life-history narratives and contemporary witnesses. The second part deals with the collection of first-person documents. An attempt is made to create a meaningful and clear inventory of first-person document collections that focuses on the Second World War.The third part of the work is devoted to the concrete analysis of selected first-person documents. In connection with this, there are also questions to be asked of the various sources, which at the same time also form partial aspects of the analysis to be carried out. The final conclusion is intended to both reflect the insights gained and relate them to the problems presented in the master's thesis. Thermomechanical recycling of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) typically includes a decrease in the polymer´s intrinsic viscosity and therefore a reduction of the molecular weight. Consequently, thermomechanical recycling is usually a downcycling of the product. However current methods to increase the molecular weight such as solid-state polymerization or the usage of chain extenders are time consuming or introduce foreign molecules into the PET´s molecular chain. Thus, the aim of this work was to try to increase the molecular weight in the molten state in an extruder, to decrease the processing times. The processing times are reduced compared to the solid-state polymerization because in the molten state the movability of the polymer chain is increased. Moreover, no supplementary substances are added for the processing so that no foreign structures are introduced during reprocessing. Virgin PET pellets were extruded at 285°C, 290°C and 295°C set temperature and 2rpm, 4rpm, and 7rpm screw rotation rate. Afterwards the PET´s properties were investigated by measuring their intrinsic viscosities, conducting a 1H NMR and a DSC measurement. Additionally, pre-experiments were conducted to explore the possibilities of feeding industrial scrap polyester fabrics into the extruder. The polymer characterization showed that the intrinsic viscosity and therefore the molecular weight of the processed samples decreased with the parameters chosen for this experiment. Samples processed at 285°C and 7 rpm showed in the average the highest intrinsic viscosities and therefore the highest molecular weight of all processed samples. Additionally, the results of the 1H NMR and the DSC indicated degradation reactions such as thermal degradation and hydrolysis. Thus, further research is necessary to find an easily accessible recycling method for polyester textiles and reduce the amount of polyester textile waste. However, it is possible to feed long textile stripes into the twin screw extruder and reprocess it to a strand which is an important step for further recycling.

Die Untersuchung von Maßnahmen der Europäischen Union zur Integration der Roma in der Slowakischen Republik ist das Thema der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit. Den Ausgangspunkt bildet die Beobachtung, dass seit dem Beitritt der Slowakei zur EU im Jahr 2004 zwar zahlreiche Projekte im Rahmen des Europäischen Sozialfonds (ESF) oder von EU Programmen, wie bspw. der Gemeinschaftsinitiative EQUAL, durchgeführt wurden, diese jedoch kaum eine Verbesserung der Situation der Ethnie bewirkt haben. Vielmehr haben die Projekte die soziale Ausgrenzung und Isolation durch die Reproduktion von Stereotypen fortgesetzt. Es ist das Ziel der Autorin anhand der Untersuchung zweier vom ESF finanzierter Projekte die strukturellen Auswirkungen der supranationalen Förderinstrumentarien auf die lokale Projektebene näher zu beleuchten und herauszuarbeiten, auf welche Weise Roma als die Zielgruppe von Projektmaßnahmen konzeptualisiert und welche Zuschreibungen an sie vorgenommen wurden. Ergänzt wird die Analyse durch Empfehlungen für die Durchführung zukünftiger Projekte. Als Grundlage für die Untersuchung werden der ESF und die Gemeinschaftsinitiative EQUAL vorgestellt, die in diesem Zusammenhang als Reaktion der Staatengemeinschaft auf die prekäre Lage der Ethnie in der Europäischen Union zu werten sind. Die Darstellung der Situation der Roma in der Slowakei wird der Projektanalyse unter Berücksichtigung historischer Prozesse und wirksamer Barrieren vorangestellt. Des Weiteren werden mit der Beschreibung der gesellschaftlichen Konstruktion des „Zigeunerbildes“ jene Ursachen beschrieben, die die soziale Eingliederung der Ethnie erschweren., This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of strategies of the European Union to integrate Roma into Slovak society. The starting point is the observation that the minority's general situation hasn't changed although a number of projects have been implemented through the European Social Funds (ESF) or programmes like the communitiy initiative EQUAL since the accession of the Slovak Republic to the EU in 2004. Instead, the projects have deepened the social exclusion and isolation by reproducing stereotypes and clichés. It's the author's goal to describe the consequences of supranational funding instruments to activities on the local level by analysing two projects which have been financed by the ESF. Furthermore, it is illustrated how Roma as the target group of the activities have been conceptualised and which ascriptions to the minority have marked the projects. The analysis is completed by the formulation of recommendations for the implementation of future projects. The introduction to the ESF and EQUAL provides the background for the analysis. In this regard both instruments have to be seen as the reaction of the European Union to the minoritie's precarious situation. Grounded on the description of the Roma's situation in Slovakia the analysis includes historic processes and barriers. The societal construction of the image of “the Gypsy” is exemplified as one of the reasons which hinder the social inclusion of Roma.
